The underwater City of Oz . . . land of paradise? Nah. Here, the rich and powerful, they take what they want. Us, we steal it back. We're the Daybreak Crew, people say we're bad guys, but there are worse people out there. The weak and the helpless need us. We provide . . . balance to the uneven fortunes of Oz.

Welcome, everyone, to Crystal Oz: Heist, a short roleplay where our characters play as gang members of the Daybreak Crew, out to bust the big bank Richmond wide open and rake in the cash. Each character has a "secret" to win the game, but for those who don't want to have one that's totally cool. Our story will start with the members arriving in the rendezvous point inside the getaway van, and will end when the last surviving crew member has gotten inside with at least 1$ stolen and then close the door, or when a player has fulfilled his or her "secret", or when the last member gets incapacitated by the cops.

Stealth is wealth for this game. If you avoid getting caught on camera, evade or silently kill security guards, and keep any civilian witnesses from calling the cops, the alarm will not be raised and the you will have committed the perfect heist. Otherwise, you'll have to achieve your objectives, carry out any loot you find to a drop-off point, and then reach your escape point under the pressure of constant police assault waves.

We will be using TrashRabbit TrashRabbit 's dice system: Engine on google doc , as usual. And feel free to change your character's stats to fit this game or make a new character all together. I will be introducing a couple of new mechanics such as "time limits", "battle rounds", and how many actions you can do per round. But don't worry, we shall ease through it as we go.

There is a Black Market where your character can buy the tools and disguises he or she needs before the heist begins. Starting cash will also be provided inside a mini-character sheet where you'll be placing your character's stats, inventory, health status, and anything else you'd like to mention in the next post below. All the information the crew has gathered from the past few months of the building will also be shown, including a little lore on the leader of the Daybeak Crew.

    Four months ago in an upstairs room in a seedy bar in the heart of the slums, the Dawnbreakers came together for a private game of cards, enjoy a couple of drinks, and to plan the biggest heist of their career that was going to set them for life.

    There were eight of them, all professionals who were almost unparalleled in their area of expertise.

    All players, feel free to bring one NPC crew member with your character. You may also choose to not bring any NPC at all. This NPC will get a cut of the loot, though you are free to backstab them. Some of them are definitely desperate enough to do it.

    1. Skully || a temperamental, violent, and effective tin trusted in the underworld for the simple ability of being able to keep his mouth shut under painful interrogation. He was the one who called them all here together after almost a year of "vacation". Their last big heist had been successful, enough to last them more than a year, but for some reason that he wouldn't say, Skully was in need of cash. A lot of cash.

    2. Pelzer || a toto who was their usual getaway driver who had a gambling problem. She was in deep trouble with some dangerous people she owed a lot of money to. She had a similar problem with Skully when it comes to money, in that it always seems to run off their hands like running water.

    3. Tomas || a dorothy who was all good actually. He was a handsome guy, a bit in the crazy department, who wants to have dangerous fun and likes the challenge of a heist. He and Pelzer used to be an item, until she started spending his money too and he had to break up with her or else he was going end up broke.

    4. Joker Daddy || a LIon who tends to malfunction under stress, but is quite an excellent fighter. Just make sure you're not within reach when he malfunctions. Has a bit of a problem following orders and has a grudge on Tomas who accidentally set him on fire.

    5. Silencio || He doesn't speak much, is a bit of a coward, but is a very smart guy who's known as the hacker in the group. As long as everything is doing fine and he's safe, he won't do anything foolish. He's not really liked a lot in the group because during their last heist he bailed on them too soon, but then eventually came back. Still, a lot of the crew suffered from his abandonment.
