Fantasy Crossing the line 1x1 with Hazbin_Transformers

He nodded. "That's understandable. When you're ready to head back that's fine with me, we're here to relax and reconnect. I don't want to push you" He said. He wanted to hold her, to kiss it all better, but he couldn't. He knew that, so he stuck as close as he could so that his scent was as close to her as possible.​

Astrid just nodded softly walking beside him just taking in their surroundings but stuck closer to his side. Without her wolf she was next ro defenseless

Kain enjoyed having her close to him. He knew she couldn't fight or defend herself as easily without her wolf. He also knew that Eric was the only other one who knew they were here and that the cabin even existed. "I know they are just words, but I'm sorry for being quiet and over bearing at the same time. It drives me crazy that I can't just fix this with a magic wand." He said, trying to put his feelings into words.​

Astrid looked up at him with a little nod seeming to truly accept his words "And I'm sorry for being so snappy.. I can't control it.. "She just sighed "I just want things to be back to how they were. I want my wolf back.. i never thought id miss her voice so much.."

Kain smiled at her, his muscles twitched with the effort to not hug her. "I want you both back where you deserve to be. In my arms" He said softly. "I miss the runs with your wolf, even if she liked tackling me." He added.​

Astrid smirked "She really did..." Her voice was laced with sadness. She could just barely feel her trying to claw her way free but it felt like a wall was in her mind stopping her.

He could hear the sadness in her voice, but he really didn't know how to help her which was what really drove the vampire nuts. He couldn't heal away the damage of a half gone bond. He ran a hand through his hair. "I um, I have a card deck back at the cabin, we could do a card game if you want. But there is a TV with a huge array of newer age movies too if you want to watch a movie and relax?" He offered.​

Astrid looked up at him with a little nod "both...?" she questioned picking a path that would lead them the shorter way back to the cabin.

He smiled, nodding his head. "Both works just fine for me" He told her, following her back towards the cabin. "And, when this is all taken fixed, I'm thinking this can be our secret spot. We need time to ourselves too" He said, winking at her with a playful smile.​

Astrid just looked up at him with a little smile "Not sure how secret it is when even Jay knows about it." She teased lightly heading inside the cabin. She hoped on the couch "so what is the game...?"

He rolled his eyes, looking at her. "Well, we need them to know in case they need us" He teased back. He sat on the couch beside her, reaching into the drawer under the table and grabbing the deck of cards. "Well, I was thinking either war or slapjack" He said. "Do you have a preference love?" He asked her.​

Astrid smiled "im happy with either. I don't remember the last time I've played either..." She hummed in thought watching him get everything out

Kain nodded as he set up for slapjack. He enjoyed that one more than war. He split the deck in half and slid half of it over to Astrid carefully. "Did you want to flip first or me?" He asked, looking at her.​

She hummed “you.” She played for a while with him having fun until she began to get tired “Kain…? Can we do the movie now..?”

He nodded, cleaning up the cards and setting them back in the drawer. "Absolutely love, what kind of movie did you want to watch?" He asked. "I have different movies in Fantasy, Horror, Thriller, Action" He listed off what he had stocked, but all the movies were sitting in a bookshelf beside the television. A bookshelf on the other side contained novels of different genres including similar themes as the movies.​

Astrid walked over digging through all the options and finally picked one walking back over and handed it to him. She went to the kitchen to make some popcorn for them and got two bowls out

Kain took the movie and put it in the dvd player, getting the tv turned on and hooked up. The main menu came up as he looked over at Astrid preparing popcorn. He sighed. They would have to come back here when this was fixed and they could cuddle close on the couch and watch whatever they wanted. He'd even get different movies if she wanted to watch it.​

She returned with both buckets of popcorn handing him on but realized she had no idea if he even wanted any. She curled up in the blanket on the couch as he got it ready

Kain took the bucket from her with a smile. "Thanks love. I've always found popcorn delicious" He said watching her curl up in the blanket. He pressed play on the movie before bringing his legs up underneath him and leaning on the couch arm. Having her so near had him closing his eyes, curled up in a ball on one side of the three seater couch, and he ended up falling asleep to the movie knowing she was beside him, even if they weren't touching.​

Astrid contently curled up watching but was dozing off about half way through. She seemed content with Kain close by and appeared to be sleeping better than she had been

Kain heard the movies credits rolling and he opened his eyes. He looked over to see Astrid sleeping on the other side of the couch. Good, she needed it. He shut off the TV and yawned, before pulling off the hoodie and placed it as carefully as he could on her, making sure to keep his hands away from her skin. He smiled down at her, his soul called out to her wolf but it hit a wall that it couldn't get through. He sighed, before turning away. He grabbed a blanket and pillow from the bedroom he'd claimed and walked out into the living room. He placed the blanket on the other side of the coffee table, so if she got up she wouldn't trip on him. He watched her for a moment before his eyes closed.​

Astrid slept peacefully well into the next morning and slowly began to stir with a little groan. She tiredly rubbed her eyes blinking awake fully but whined in pain holding her head. She could feel her wolf finally starting to try and break through again, but it was only leading to a massive headache currently. They had been in the cabin for almost 2 weeks now which meant the mating meeting should be tonight but she could barley think straight to even be excited about it.

Kain was back on the floor again after their movie night. He heard Astrid stir and he sat up from his makeshift bed on the floor. He'd taken to sleeping in the same room as Astrid, taking the mattress off the second bedroom and setting it in the corner. They both had found it easier to sleep with the other close by. He got up from the floor and picked up the blanket and pillow, bringing it to the mattress he was using. He came back out and sat on the couch beside her. "Morning love" He didn't know what else he could do. The headaches were going to happen as the wolf tried to break through the barriers.​

She whined rubbing her head "morning.." Her headache was killing her but the medics didn't want her taking anything that might cause her wolf to tire, she needed to be able to break free but they warned it wasn't going to be fun.

Eric stirred beginning to wake with a yawn but looked down at Jay with a soft smile "good morning."

Kain sighed, he could tell she was having headaches. Today would have to be a slow day. "What would you like to do today love?" He asked her.

Jay woke with a purr, her gaze looking up at Eric. "Morning" She said, smiling at him. She was getting used to waking up in his arms and she's had better sleep than ever as well. ​
