Crescent

She picked up his and her own bowl and put them in the sink. Glancing at the time, she realized it was almost 9:00. "Want to watch TV or something?" She offered. It was a little early to go to sleep, and she still had to figure out where they were going to sleep. The couch was a little small to sleep on comfortably, naps having the exception. She was also worried about having Skye try killing her in the middle of the night.

"Sure..." he replied quietly as he stood himself up. He didn't know much else to do, he was used to Skye bossing him about, but the demon was once again being quiet. He didn't know why, but he didn't bother questioning the demon as he was sure his words would go wither unnoticed or ignored.

She led the way into the living room and sat on the couch, TV remote in hand. "Any channel or TV show you like?" She asked, turning the television on.

Allen followed her out into the living room, standing at the area next to the couch as he wasn't sure if he was allowed to sit. At the question he shook his head, "I never really had the chance to watch tv."

"You can sit," she nodded, and then began flipping the channels. She finally found the show WipeOut and put the remote on the coffee table. It was one of the only shows on.

As she allowed him, he took a seat next to her on the couch and looked ahead to the television in front of him, watching it with curiosity.

Because the couch was on the smaller side, love-seat size, their shoulders were mere inches from touching. Riva didn't seem to notice this however, and was instead just watching the show. Occasionally she'd laugh hen one of the contestants fell or something, but otherwise she didn't talk or anything.

He would glance to her on occasion as he had taken notice to how close the two were. His attention would fall from her, to the show, then back as it was a rather distracting thing, though it wasn't truly much of a bother.

A little before Ten she leaned back on the couch, yawning every now and then. She usually didn't stay up late very often, 10 or 11 being the time she went to bed every night.

"Are you tired?" She asked Allen, glancing over at him.

He looked over to her, though he had slept most of the day still the little battle within his mind only a while before had once again worn him out. He nodded before speaking, "Yes... I am."

"There's only one problem with that," She said slowly. "I only have one bed." She said, wondering what his reaction would be.

"I... I know..." He looked down a moment before speaking, "Skye told use to share it... but if your uncomfortable, I'll sleep on the floor or something..."

"It's fine... I mean, we can just put a pillow or something in the middle.." She said with a shrug, trying to ease some of the awkward tensions.

He as technically her guest, so it as rude to make him sleep on the floor or small couch, and she wasn't comfortable sleeping in either place either. She had done it before and she as always stiff and sore in some area or another.

"Whatever's best..." he replied, though still he was unsure as to why she was being so kind... maybe it was only Skye forcing her to be.

"Well, i'm going to go get ready for bed," She said, walking into her bedroom and shutting the door behind her as she got dressed into comfy pants and a matching tank top. Then she opened the door and went into the bathroom to brush her teeth and other things one would do before bed.

He watched silently from the sofa as she walked about, waiting for some sort of order as he was already used to such things. After a few moments his eyes wondered back to the television as in a near silence he waited.

When she came out of the bathroom she pulled all her hair over one shoulder and said, "Ready?" She didn't know what else to say seeing as though he didn't have anything to change into or anything else to prepare for bed. Maybe they could go buy a few things the next day. "Can you turn the tv off?" She asked, almost at the bedroom's door now. She was just waiting for Allen to follow.

"Sure..." He complied, taking the remote in hand and switching of the tv before getting up and meeting at her side. He thought himself to be ready, seeing as he didn't truly have any way to prepare for bed at current, he didn't exactly have night clothes so he didn't need to change.

She went in and went over to the bed. "Which side do you want?" She questioned. While waiting for an answer she went into a walk in closet and came out with a third pillow and put it in the middle, under the covers.

"It doesn't matter to me..." he replied quietly, looking over the spread in front of him before allowing his eys to drift down to his pendant.

"Ok then," She said, crawling into the side she was closest too. He would have the side closest to the door. She turned off the lamp on her bedside table, and the room went dark. She curled up on the edge of her side, her back facing him.

Quietly, he too got into the bed in the same manner as her only he occupied the free side. Assuming she wouldn't want him facing her he decided to face in the other direction.

Riva stared off into the darkness for a while, suddenly unable to fall asleep. It as probably because there was a stranger in her bed. Riva sighed and forced herself to shut her eyes.

Allen didn't have much difficulty in the matter as in truth the young boy didn't see much of a problem in sharing a bed, and only minutes in he had fallen fast asleep.
