"Not at all," She smiled at him. She just wanted to see him calmer and not as tired. She felt bad for the guy to be honest.

"T...thank you" He said once again before slipping away and turning the corner to her room. With hesitance he opened the door finally letting his grip ease on his pendant.

While he went into her bedroom, she went into the kitchen and fixed herself something to eat and turned on the Tv, watching it quietly as not to wake him up with the sound.

He laid himself down upon the bed, the surface was unfamiliar, but comfortable and within only moments he was sound asleep the pendant still held underneath his palm though the grip its self had died down. He seemed much calmer asleep as no longer did his worries or fear occupy his features.

After an hour, Riva went to peek her head in on him to see if she was sleeping. He was. Her eyes slowly drifted from his face, down to where his hand lay on his chest. He was still holding onto the pendant. Very slowly, even though she knew she should just walk away, she neared him silently.

With careful hands, she gently put two finger on either side of his wrist and moved it very carefully, as not to wake him. His grip on the pendant had been loose, so she was thankful that he wasn't pulling it when she moved his hand.

Still being silent and careful, she gently fingered the pendant, looking at it from all angles and just studying it. It looked identical to the one in her dream.

The pendant held an odd feel to it even though the demon within it wasn't very active at the moment, still it carried an odd feeling along with touching it. It could make a stranger feel cold, even unsettled if the feeling coming from it was taken in the wrong way though already Allen had come to know the demon within it and no longer did he get shivers though his spine simply by touching the small pendant. He was once again oblivious towards her presence, though his demon was well aware. As the girl studied his pendant, the demon examined her with two hallow eyes hidden from view thanks to the mask provided by the pendant. He wouldn't awaken Allen just yet, he could simply possess the boy if proven necessary.

Hesitantly, she dropped the pendant. It made her feel weird... She felt watched too. She glanced up at the boy's face, but his eyes were still closed and his breathing was slower, meaning he was still asleep. Riva sighed softly, and then reached for the necklace again.

The demon was unsure over the presence of another, and truly his intentions had been placed upon killing her from the start though he had kept this from the boy for the time being. He knew of how Allen would feel over the matter, and it's exactly why he had kept it hidden for the time being.

Eventually she let go of the pendant again and quietly backed up. Glancing at him and the pendant for one more moment, she then went back through the door and went to lay on the couch.

It was a while later that Allen found himself waking once again, first stirring then opening his eyes to view the ceiling above him. He had forgotten for a moment that he had been within a home, though as it came back to him he slowly sat up. He was calmer than before, the sleep having aided him in this.

After a few minutes of laying on the couch, Riva had dozed off, her head resting on the couch's arm. She didn't hear Allen wake up, and didn't stir.

Not seeing anyone within the room he chose to exit, bringing himself up into a stand and curiously peeking out the door. After a moment he fully exited and soon came to spot her resting upon the couch. Silently he approached her, unaware of the intentions his demon currently had.

Riva kept sleeping, her facials peaceful. Her figure was slightly curled up because of the size of the couch, and after a while a piece of hair fell in front of her face.

He leaned over a bit, feeling somewhat bolder now that she was no longer awake as still silent he had reached a hand over to brush the hair out of her face, though suddenly that entire arm tensed up. He seemed to freeze a moment, before glancing down to his pendant which now seemed to be created a dull foggy glow. H-hey, quit it! Allen said within his mind, though it seemed as if the demon had his own plans as no release was placed upon him, in truth it got worse. The demon was attempting to acquire control and Allen knew this, but the reason was still something he was oblivious to. He seemed to stumble quite a bit as the demon forced him to straighten, his own protest causing his figure to stumble and end up falling backwards with a rather loud thud though the demon still persisted.

The girl groaned softly when she heard the noise. She didn't wake up much though. (Sorry, short.)

(It's fine :P )

'Stop fighting!' The demon growled within his head, but Allen didn't want for him to take control now despite the pains that ran though his back do to the fall. He knew the demon's consciousness was stronger, it always had been and slowly he was forced back up into a stand yet oddly the demon turned him away from the girl. At first he was confused, until he came to see the demon's newest goal: A knife resting placed within the kitchen. It was now rather easy for him to imagine what the demon had planned and though he tried to pull it back his hand still reluctantly wrapped around the handle. I-I said stop it! She's nice! Allen still protested.

Riva heard footsteps and her eye lids very slowly fluttered open. It took her a few moments to see the boy, and slowly she parted her lips and said drowsily, "Oh, you're awake." She didn't see the knife and very slowly began to yawn and sit up, then stretching her arms.

Though Allen himself was rather panicked, his outer expression was completely blank as slowly he glanced to her. He couldn't beat the demon, and yet he still was trying his hardest to regain control over himself. In unbalanced steps he began to draw closer to her with the knife still held tightly in his palm. His pendant still released the odd illumination as his eyes appeared rather unfocused though Allen himself could see rather well. "S....S-Stop...... G....t Away..." He was having troubles projecting his voice at all, and it came out at a tone near silence... he didn't know if she could even hear him.

She stared at the knife. "W-what are you doing?" She asked nervously, very slowly standing up and edging to the side. The kitchen was next to the door out of her room, so she couldn't get out without passing Allen. The bedroom and bathroom were the only places she could escape to really.

All at a sudden, no longer could Allen fight back. The demon had gained full control though he had been a bit worn by the boy's stubborn efforts. His eyes regained color, though they held a hue of black, and a sudden smile crossed his face. "What do you think?" He questioned in a now louder voice as his posture seemed to straighten greatly in regain of it's balance.

"May I ask why?" She asked, becoming extremely nervous now. She took a few small steps away, wanting to keep distance between them. She was gradually nearing the bedroom.

"Well, we need the money. My vessel won't last much longer living out in the streets, will he?" The demon spoke bluntly, not much caring for the distance placed between the two. The chase is the best part in his perspective.

She opened her mouth to say something, but shut it again. She seemed to finally decide on what to say and opened her mouth to stutter nervously, "L-look I'd be more than willing to help... Just please don't hurt me..." She tried pleading, taking another small step backwards.

"But that ways just boring" he said quickly, turning the knife within his hand and a bit suddenly he took a gripping upon the blade. "A demon loves blood, misery, and pain. They're just fun things to watch, so what could you possibly do to convince me?" It seemed some blood had begun to drip down the blade do to his gripping, though the demon knew the pain wouldn't transmit to him. Rather, it would be given to the true owner of this body.

"Please, I'll do anything.." She said, hoping he wanted something other than to see her in pain and dying. Maybe she could bake him a cake and give him the Tv remote for a few hours, or something simple like that.
