People don't like having common soldiers ruin their "epicness" or their character's random ill temperament. Not everyone is like that, but a good amount of people are. They also underestimate what a bullet can do. A 7.62 round can tear your arm off, most people will have it bounce of their guys like it's nothing. They can also dodge bullets going nearly 1000 m/s somehow.

Mainly because that shit doesn't work on most characters. You see, they either have super powers, body armor, or dumb luck.


The soldier in most of these settings is the guy that gets beat up to make another guy look better. The SHIELD Agents that get beat up by the villains, or the henchmen to some super villain that runs a nation.

Um...the fact that Brainiac shows up in the introductory post. The Superman villain that people would know that isn't Lex Luthor or Bizzaro.

I don't even know who that is. I literally don't watch or read any super hero things other than the new batman and Avenger movies

It was kind of the point in the original Convergence (because people's worlds are being threatened and they have to go to war with eachother to survive), but not here.

But why would Superheroes try to attack the weak? That's like...the opposite of what Superheroes do. They protect the weak.


Soldiers should honestly be working with them...unless you're soldiers/marines/sailors are dicks.


Remember, superheroes used to help in wars and punch Hitler in the face and shit.
