Rin made his way out to the bus, Haku draped around his neck. He arched an eyebrow when he walked past Ash and Fie. He was hitting heavily on Xiao, he found it a bit comical really. He felt Haku throbbing as she chuckled as well. As he got on the bus, he heard Calista's instructions. He stood near the front of the bus and watched as the others go on. He was curious as to who was going where. He had ideas, about who should be where but that wasn't for him to decide. "Try not to bring the catacombs down on top of us dear Jimbo." Haku said as they sat down to wait. "So, who is going underground? and who is heading with Gigi?" Rin asked Calista as he watched the others pick up weapons out the window.

Zoe nodded as Xiao spoke to her. She was certain that this time they would surely be able to rescue Strong and restore the balance the Rogues have upset. She smiled.

" Aye. We will teach those scoundrels a lesson. One they will never forget. "

She watched silently as the girl and Ash exchanged words and her eyes widened in surprise. The two of them seemed to have some sort of... chemistry working between them, she was glad. After all with growing bonds combat prowess improves as well... the chances of success shall skyrocket as well. She walked up to her and whispered with a cheeky tone.

" Watch out, this new guy seems to be... capable of stealing. Hearts, that is. "

With a sly wink she then boarded the bus, Eos following her. Within he saw the inventor, waving at him she greeted him properly.

" I shall put those arrows to good use, Doc. " she said " They will regret crossing the line. "

" Speaking of which... " Eos began, turning to Calista " We shall stay with Gigi, going to the exchange. "

Zoe's smile vanished, the joy gone from her eyes, now replaced with confusion and frothing anger. She turned to her stag companion, her voice menacing.

" No. " she stated calmly " We are going after Strong. "

" I can't let you. " the stag shook his head " I have seen your shoulder, it would be suicide. "

" After everything that happened you STILL believe that I will back down? " Zoe's eyes flared " I will not going to miss the opportunity to rescue Strong. "

" You can die in there! " Eos raised his voice, his visage turning darker and more furious than ever before " You rush headlong into your death! "

" And so what if I do? " the girl's voice thundered " If I die then I shall do so on the battlefield rather than by covering in fear! "

Eos did not immediately reply. Remorse and resentment in his voice he finally spoke after turning away from her.

" Do what you must, the past will never change. " he said darkly " I will stay with Gigi and the others. "

" Fine then! Run like the coward you are! " Zoe's voice was pained and she could barely muster to hold back her tears after her spiteful reply. Sorrow and regret churned within her but she had a duty to perform - and she was not about to back down from it. With one pained look she glanced over to Bael, her pleading eyes begging the boy to keep Eos safe as she turned to Calista.

" I shall be with you in the front lines. Let us save Amber Strong. "

Beth's attention flicked to Alec's grumbling. She frowned, but couldnt help but agree. This Ash made her uncomfortable.

Totus gave a churr from behind her, and she nodded vaguely. She was about the turn and say something aloud to him, but Manjano drew her attention. A crossbow?

She took it from him, testing its weight in her hand. It was small enough to be convenient. She did know how to shoot it, well enough. But would it be enough for whatever she was doing? What was she doing? She could be useful on both missions. The close quarters of the catacombs would make her less effective at fighting, as she had no real hand-to-hand traning, but she could use her swanky glasses to help find Strong. If she went with Gigi, she could set up at a distance, watch for enemies, maybe even provide cover if things went south.. Her eyes drifted to the rifle and she frowned and reached for it. With the rifle in one hand and the cross bow in the other, she turned to the front of the bus.

"Hey, Calista, Simon, what team do you want me with?" She called.

Totus rolled his eyes. Just like Beth to revert to the opinion of someone else when she was unsure. Not that the two experienced agents didnt know better about the tactical aspects of each mission. He just thought his human counterpart should have a little more confidence in her own ideas.

Rin watched on and waited. Listening to the exchange between Eos and Zoe, his face growing more concerned. He let out a sigh " Zoe, you will best be served with Gigi. Your proficiency, from what I have seen is with your exquisite bow, better served where you can see clearly, and unobstructed. Not in the confined spaces of the catacombs. There are more than enough people who are better adapted to being down there. And more than willing to fight tooth and nail to bring Strong back. But your talents would be wasted in that environment." He said speaking up, matter of factly. Haku was looking around and spotted that Leandra was sitting up front with Luness as well. She smiled before speaking up. "I mean no insult, but you would better serve out in the open no? It is dangerous enough moving about underground, not to mention flying in tunnels where there will be bullets?" She said to both Leandra and Luness. Haku then turned back to Calista. "It was no coincidence they had so many badgers, if they are underground as we believe. The agents must all be accustomed to that life to make things easier for them. We should divide ourselves accordingly. There is no prying you, and Simon and Jimbo from going down there. So anyone else that goes must be A. Proficient with close quarters, and B. Accustomed to that environment. Myself and Haku will be joining you down there." Rin and Haku both took care not to offend anyone with their suggestions or intonations. Just stated ideas they merely saw as tactical common knowledge. As an after thought he turned to both Zoe, and Leandra and bowed. "My apologies if I offend you. I do not think you incapable, I merely wish us to have the most effective chance of rescuing strong, and preventing harm from be falling Gigi."

Ash felt his heart not skip just one, but at least two! Possibly three! Her laugh, the blush that snuck up on her cheeks and that voice famous singers would be jealous of! It was just...utterly beautiful, it made Ash think there was something even more extravagant than a goddess, if there was...he may very well put this women in that category. When she said there may be something even more finer than herself Ash simply smiled at the women as he shook his head. "I fear that won't happen Xaio." He chuckled a bit before he felt something in his hand. Looking down he saw that Fie had placed his cracked phone in his hand which made Ash stare at it.

"Fie......... This is the third phone...in the last two weeks...." Fie just giggled as he sat on his shoulder his tail moving to and fore. Averagely Ash would be in the middle of strangling the monkey for breaking his phone, however... Ash would never in a million years do such an act in front of a beautiful women and the damn monkey knew that. ".....You are paying for that one." Ash said calmly before looking at Xaio he kept in a small laugh as she commented about the simple kiss on the hand, it was, cute...no adorable how she tried to find the reason behind the kiss. He didn't have one other than the fact he wished to do it, it was evident to him judging from how much she was blushing she wasn't used to compliments. One thing was for certain Ash could be there all day just looking, talking and simply admiring her, if he wasn't rushed to go on the bus with the others.

A simple sigh left him before he jumped slightly at the loud laugh that came from a young girl he just lay eyes on. He looked at her a bit confused as she kept laughing. "Fie what did you do." He said with a sigh as he rubbed his forehead. "Hey! What makes you think I'm the reason she busted out laughing! I can behave!" He shouted as he tossed a permeant marker into a near by trash can. Yes.... Fie was about to draw random things on the side of Ash's face but the girls outburst saved him from that.

He listened to the women and smiled at her before following her onto the bus. "I was just giving an honest compliment to her." He stated, unlike what many people may think, Ash didn't practice these lines, he said what he thought to be true, even if it seemed like an exaggeration to many. If he said you were beautiful he very well meant it, whether it be body or personality...

Once he was on board the bus he and Fie both grabbed an over the shoulder bag that was perfect for their size. The two had already gotten their weapons the moment they stepped onto the bus the first time around. Currently Ash was sporting two hidden blades that fit snuggly on his wrist and right under his nice dress shirt, a gun in his vest where his right hand could easily get to, there was also a few knives in his vest that could be used for throwing or close combat. In his pants pocket he also had a steel wire that can be rather useful at times but a weapon he barely uses. His main weapons were in the over the shoulder bag. There he had various grenades a few lethal and others not so much. There was even some material in there to make a few on the go type of bombs that would be meant for distraction if anything. Fie was also ready to go, he had a small gun in the bag that just had one bullet in it and was meant for his tiny hands, he didn't really use that though. The weapon he had was a switchblade that was perfect for him as well as a few cherry bombs, pliers and a set of tools meant for lockpicking all in that tiny bag of his.

Once the two grabbed their bags they both moved to the back of the bus as from what they had been told they would be on the distraction team. Ash sat down on a seat with Fie in his lap. "Got everything?" "Kehehe Yups! Think they will let me use some paint bombs... I mean the last time we did that it was so funny! Hehehe." "*sigh* This is a ser-" "Serious mission an I should stop playing around Kehe... So I heard~" "I thought w-" "we worked out the cutting you midsentence thing? Naaaah T-" "Too fun... Your a pain you know that?" "Kehehehe."

Beth listened quietly as Rin spoke, then looked at Totus. Her expression was as neutral as his for once. They held each other's eyes in a completely wordless battle of wills. Then the owl clacked his beak, and Beth put the rifle back on the wall. The crossbow had a tight diagonal strap that fit over one shoulder and around the opposite hip to hold bolts across her chest, which she put on stoicly. She returned to his side, rubbing the side of his head with a pointer finger as he began to puff himself up.

"You know exactly how much I disagree with this."

"Yes. But you know that it is exactly the right move."

"Who will keep you safe, then, Elizabeth?"

"I will. And you will help keep the others safe, especially Gigi. She doesnt deserve this."

The owl's feathers were still very ruffled, but he gave a disgruntled sigh. He ran his beak over her hand, nibbing lightly. It was mostly affectionate, but also served to let her know he was frustrated even though he held his tongue. Then, he moved to the back of the seating, while Beth moved to the front.

Almost immediately, her stomach dropped and a deep frown settled on her face. The sooner they were done with this mission, the sooner she could be back with Totus. Beth plopped down into a seat and began a closer inspection of the crossbow and its bolts.

Totus, hiding his mood, settled next to the others going with Gigi and stared at the back of Beth's head. If anything happened to her while they were separated, he would never forgive her.. or himself.

When Bael paused beside her and questioned her. Where should she go? Like Bael she figured she'd only get in the way in a fight. She glanced to Cerci nearby.

'I want to go help get Strong. I can fight if it comes to it,' Cerci thought to her. 'But I don't want to leave you. We can stay with Gigi, I know that's what you'd rather do.'

'I know... You're right... Let us stay with Gigi. The others are more than capable, and so is Strong. We shouldn't get in their way. Besides, negotiations are easier, they use words.'

'That's fine. I will follow you wherever you choose to go.'

Wednesday turned to Bael and nodded, "Yeah, we'll be going with you and Gigi." She listened to all of the things the others said and felt a bit odd to not say anything more as she moved towards the others who seemed to be separating based on the group they were in.

@Sleipnir

"Not you too." Alec grumbled as Simon made a comment about Ash. "Yeah, I'd go with 'something'." He tried his best to shake off the sour mood. "You watch yourself out there Simon, Jimbo, and don't get shot." Alec had come to like the pair, and despite being ambushed by wolves, he had a feeling that going into an enemy base would be far more dangerous. But Strong was down there, and they had to get her out.

@zCrookedz

He reviewed the building of his team. If given the choice, he'd rather be going with Simon to the catacombs, but someone had to protect the poodle. This rally also sounded important from what she had said. It seemed crucial they buy as much time for the rescue team as possible and then try and get Gigi to it.

Just then Jimbo came into view, armed with every sort of gun Alec could probably imagine, and that was saying something.

Calista nodded with satisfaction. "That's the spirit Ham Hands. Those Feral bastards won't know what hit 'em!" She grew serious for a moment and addressed Gigi's team.

"Your mission is the main one, don't forget that. Our orders were to protect Gigi, and if possible, prevent riots in the streets from her absence. You know the stakes. If the Rogues want her out of the picture, it can only spell trouble for us. So whatever it takes, get it done. And if they actually do have Amber with them, radio us immediately. Capiche?"

"Yes Ma'am." Alec replied, giving her a nod.

@Flutterby @DawnAntalios @Lioness075

Gigi sighed as she considered Falarion's logic. "You are right my dear. Zo I 'ate to admit it. I shall leave 'er a note." She jumped elegantly from the bus and went back into the townhouse. Though she couldn't write, she did have a voice recording device which she left flashing for Isabelle to find. She returned shortly after.

"I think this 'ole mess will be sorted out before she even realizes I am missing."

@Lioness075

"Right people!" Calista barked, "Everyone on the bus, now. Figure out your teams on the way."

Nigel came up to her, looking slightly nervous. "Um, Cal, some news from the higher ups, they're forbidding us to go after Agent Strong."

Calista took the note from Nigel, skimmed it them promptly tore it in half in her tiny paws and let the pieces fall away.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I never received such an order."

The grin Nigel gave her was devilish. "Yes ma'am!"

He scrambled fro the driver's seat and started the bus.

"All right everyone, hang on tight! They drive on the right here, not like back in the UK, if I slip into on-coming traffic, just give me a little nudge yeah?"

Alec took a breath. "That's not comforting."

Amber was forced to the ground by rough paws. Polar bears to be precise, the same ones that had apparently dragged her aboard the chopper back in Kootenay. They were loyal to the wolf, whom Amber had heard one of them call Captain Drake. She had heard them coming however and made sure to drop the phone down a loose crack in the floor.

"Enough of this!" Drake growled. "Set her up in the capture room now!" He put his muzzle close to Amber's bruised face. "I'm going to enjoy watching you die human."

They had to carry her most of the way, and her body protested painfully every step. They threw her against a metal slab and clamped her hands and wrists down. In the corner she could see a pile of...were those human bodies?!

"Wh-what the hell are you doing down here?" She rasped. As the wolf chuckled she took in more of the room, committing it to memory. Strange crates, big ones stood in another corner with some sort of Asian-styled symbol on them. They were empty, but Amber could guess that they had once contained the poor souls that now lay dead in a pile.

"Sir, Boris gave strict instructions to wait until--"

"I don't care what the bear said! If his new shipment had come on time I wouldn't need a new human for this. But I won't have my wolf go feral is that understood?"

Amber couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"You...use human...lives to retain sapience..."

Drake turned back to her with a cruel smile. "That's right. And you'll see first hand how its done."

As the bus pulled out onto the main road Alec found himself rechecking his equipment. This was the first time they were going on a mission and expecting a fight. He wasn't sure if that made it better or worse.

"When we get to the site Totus, see if you can fly up and scope out just where they're positioned. Circle wide, so they don't notice you until you're out of shooting range. We're looking for grunt forces, snipers, cars, anything that could be Rogue and what they're armed with if you can spot it, can you do that?"

@Flutterby

"Stand by all." Calista said as she hopped down off the work bench. "Catacomb drop point coming up."

Suddenly the bus slowed and stopped and the regular doors opened, showing the stone archway that lead to the cemetery or MountParnassus.

The civet was the first off the bus and made a quick check with the bus's equipped scanners to make sure she knew where the guards were topside.

"There are animals patrolling mostly in the inner circle." She pointed to the screen. "My guess is that's where we'll find the entrance. Take them out quietly if you can. Silencers and steel, we don't want to alert the whole friggin' place. Go team, gogogo!"

@Lioness075 @zCrookedz @andujarprime @DawnAntalios

Simon looked up at Alec from his seat and gave the man a thumbs up.

"Same to you my friend."

Jimbo smiled at Calista as she made an obvious praise at his equipment choices. He shot her a thumbs up as he began pulling his guns off to prepare them for the mission.

It was then that Simon overheard Nigel telling them about the orders from command. Simons expression grew stern, and concerned. But before he could speak, Calista ripped the paper in half and Simon relaxed with a sigh. He knew they would be in trouble when they got back to HQ, probably get yelled at quite a bit. But if they could get Strong back it didn't matter.

Simon sat on the bus, bouncing along with the rhythm of the street with his eyes closed. A method he had learned from his father during their workouts to calm his nerves fro better focus. Jimbo was reaching into a bag attached to his belt on his hip, screwing long cylindrical silencers into the fronts of his Beretta and his MK9. As Calista called out to the first group to deploy, Simon took one last deep breath and drew his fists upwards and clashed them together, sending as shower of electrical sparks flying as he stood at Calista's command.

Jimbo thumbed over the switch on his MK9 it out of full auto mode as he followed Calista out of the bus and into the cemetery. Simon was behind him, searching for the ones Calista was calling out. The pair kept low to avoid being seen and ducked behind a large stone headstone quickly off the main road. the trees that lined either side swayed a bit with the wind as Simon peaked his head out from behind the tombstone to get a look at the alley. He could make out the shape of a few of animals and humans walking slowly around a little further down. He noticed one set of humans heading into some of the other headstones and he ducked back to look at Jimbo. He nodded back behind the ape and then gestured with his head fro Jimbo to go around the other side. Jimbo nodded, somehow understanding what Simon had seen and grasped Simons hand as he held it up to him.

The pair broke and Simon dashed around the tombstone quickly, keeping his head low and trying to catch wind of the men he had seen duck into the headstones moments ago. The soft tap of boots on stone gave them away when Simon got close, and he stopped with his back to a tombstone and peered around the corner quickly. The men were side by side, walking and looking around, assault rifles in each hand. Simon smiled and reached for the tops of his gauntlets, twisting the knob up as high as it would go. The gauntlets whirred to life with a small electronic noise and Simon creeped a bit closer till he was beside the path they were walking. As the walked path, Simon steeled his breathing, stepping out from behind the stone and grabbing both of them by the back of their necks. With a quick motion their bodies began to spasm and Simon quickly smashed their skulls together. The men went limp the second after the discharge and Simon dragged their bodies back into the maze of tombstones.

Jimbo had caught the tail of something heading into the graveyard and quickly set himself up on the ground between two headstones about 30 yards away. He could see the shape of something moving between the stones, and once he head determined that the creature was far enough away from the main road, Jimbo took a shot when the creature reached the sights on his MK9. The soft sound of air dissipating was all that could be heard from the silencer on the end of the barrel as the body went limp and hit the ground.

(Quick post)

Beth noted the orders from HQ, and the instantaneous decision to ignore them. She could almost feel Totus's disapproval. There wasnt any time to think on it though, as they were being hurried off the bus moments later.

Silencers and steel.. Beth swallowed as she jumped up to follow. Its just like the old days. Kill or be killed.

She gave Totus one last glance, then slipped off the bus behind Simon and Jimbo.

The girl made note of the locations on the scan as she loaded the cross bow. Simon and Jimbo headed down the main way, so she skirted the edge and headed to one of the side avenues headed toward the middle. There would be less people this way, but she didnt want anyone flanking the rest of the team and surprising them. Good thing too, because there werent as few people that way as she thought. The first she came upon was a solo badger, stalking between the tombs. From behind a headstone, a silent bolt flew and hit its mark. There wasnt a sound, but Beth heard pawsteps approaching quickly. The second animal was shot in the chest before he could even see the dead badger.

It was a little difficult to move the dead weight, but Beth didnt keep walking until the bodies were hidden from plain view. She drifted through the stones, keeping Simon and Jimbo mostly in sight as they dispatched other guards, working their way toward the center.

@SilverFlight @zCrookedz

Totus watched worriedly as Beth jumped off the bus, keeping his eyes on her as long as he could. But soon, she had disappeared between the headstones and he was left staring at the empty grounds. He sighed, then looked to Alec.

"Yes. I should be able to do that. But without Beth, I am not sure how efficient communication will be once you are moving." He said curtly, giving a small nod.

It took Zoe few moments to regain her composure as she watched Eos walk away, joining the escort team of Gigi. Her heart was pounding, the sorrow and regret coursing through her soul but it could not be helped. She had a job to complete and neither his words nor his actions would stop her in that. It was then when she turned to Rin after the boy finished his monologue and she sighed.

" I understand your concern and normally I would agree. " she said, shaking her head " Sadly, however, I am not good at negotiating with the enemy when so much is at stake, I can easily lose my patience which is very dangerous. And well... "

She hesitated for a moment. She wanted to tell him that this was personal, that she partly blamed herself for what had happened. But instead she let a cheeky smile sit on her expression and frowned.

" You will need an archer there to watch your back anyway, no? I will not let you down, I promise. "

Her smile vanished as quickly as it came as she took her seat in the front, listening to Calista's briefing while the car rolled out. The journey was surprisingly short, the traffic did not seem to block them and they were granted passage towards their destination without any particular difficulties. She was not at ease though for she knew that the hardest part was just ahead of them.

Arriving at the dropping point was all she was waiting for as she jumped off from the car and tumbled behind a tombstone immediately. The eerie silence was both mysterious and foreboding as they listened for enemy movements. She noticed one badger trying to sneak up on them - a moment later the animal collapsed with an arrow in its furry back. Shortly after disposing the body yet an another tried to look for enemies but it met an unfortunate fate like its friend did. Like she Beth was also elegantly getting rid of the beasts while Simon... made a gentle, delicate entrance with his titanic strength.

" Impressive. " she nodded to both Beth and Simon, turning to Calista. " We need to hurry, they will probably notice the absence of their guards soon enough. Is there a fast way through the catacombs where we can sneak through undetected? "

She paused for a second, thinking carefully.

" When I focus at Eos' mind I can see images - fragments though - but glimpses of his location. Could you perhaps focus on Strong so that we could pinpoint her location within this maze? "

Rin sighed at Zoe's response then shrugged and sat back down. "Very well, protecting you is not my job. Not that you need it, but I wouldn't sleep well if you die today, or any one of us for that matter. " He said in a steely voice as he sat and turned to watch out the window. The bus rolled along and he slowed and paced his breathing. Meditating, bringing his mind to focus, and his heart rate to slow. "Ready then?" Haku whispered as the bus came to a stop. He stepped off of the bus shortly after the rest of their group. He took a look at Calista's scan and committed it to memory. He pulled his belt off, and with a flick the black leather belt snapped and straightened. Shifting into a black katana, Haku slid down off his shoulder and made her way along the ground ahead of him. He turned off the main path, the soft dull thud of bodies dropping was all he needed to know that his group was making some sort of progress. "Haku, the entrance, we need to find the entrance." He thought out to her and with a nod she slid off. Rin made his way between the mausoleums. He hadn't encountered any enemies yet, but it wouldn't be long. It was bound to happen, hopefully they would be inside before long. Haku was off trying to find the right entrance. She found a large circular mausoleum, a dark doorway in the center. Even in the light of day, the inside seemed pitch black. She almost kept going, but a taste o the air and she knew she was in the right place. The taste and smell of other animals was strong here. She turned towards the circular mausoleum and made her way across the path. She peeked a head in, at the bottom corner of the doorway. She couldn't see well, but there were several other animals inside, along with the taste of metal. They were armed, she quickly slipped out and away. "I think I've found it." She thought to Rin, sending him a mental picture of the structure. "You should try to find Calista, she's probably with the rest of the group." She thought back to him as she turned towards the entrance. She didn't have to go far before she came onto a pair of guards. Another badger, it's claws clinking on the ground. A flashing glare from the sun revealed steel tipped claws. A human partner next to him, armed with an assault rifle and a tactical knife. Haku made her way along the edge of a structure, closer to the badger. Lightning fast she struck the badgers rear foot. It was the easiest way to distract the human as well. It hissed and turned towards Haku. But she was already on the move, the human guard turned only in time to see a flash of white on the floor. Haku closed in on his leg, and instead of biting she crawled up his pants. Unnaturally strong muscles helped her grip enough to crawl up his leg then waist. With a practiced move, she coiled back, then struck at the hand holding the gun. Her fangs sunk in, the hand spasmed falling away from the trigger. Her head snapped back as the man grunted. She expertly dropped from his waist, and watched, the badger now lay twitching on the floor dead. The man dropped only seconds after she landed, biting his hand, the venom rushed quicker to his heart. Haku slid away. "Two down, badger and human. I thought it would all be rogues. They have humans helping them?!" She thought to Rin who had decided to back track and find the others as well. "There are people helping them? How are they getting humans to help? What the hell is going on here?" He said in a low voice as he found Calista and the others once more.

Ash was rather quiet on the bus ride as his purple eyes focused on the scenery they passed by. Both he and Fie just leaned back in their seats mainly focused on their current mission. When the bus came to a halt Ash looked up and watched as the rescue team left, once they did he let out a sigh and got up. He double checked his bag before looking around a bit confused. "Fie... Who was pointed out to be main base on this team??" Fie tilted his head as he sat on Ash's shoulders. "Uhhhh Lady ran off shouting gogogo before telling us.... Unless I fell asleep when she told us Kehehe." At this Ash sighed and shook his head before going silent once more.

Closing his eyes he took a small breath before opening them again. "If you guys run this differently don't mind me, but someone should be taking point on this. A group like this should spread out, but we need someone to direct one another so we can stay organized." He said calmly before smiling to match his current collected attitude while also scratching the back of his head. "If you don't mind I offer to take this job, and don't worry I won't be sitting around barking orders. I'll get my hands dirty as well." His eyes looked at the others before he placed his hands in his pocket. He knew they may not like the idea of the new guy trying to take a position in leadership however Ash was simply trying to fill the small void on this team. If someone more capable than him wanted to be the on leading then he wouldn't mind in the least.

Personally he thought Alec would be good seeing as he was already giving rather reasonable and respectable orders. Fie looked at Ash and giggled a bit. "You didn't waste any time Kehehe Are you trying to show off~~" Ash sighed and rolled his eyes. "No, I told you my reasons for offering, you got to get that wax out of you-" "your ears Kehe Yeah yea... I say you are trying to show off~" "You know I-" "I'm not~" "......................When this is over we are ha-" "Having a party!! Kehe." "No...A talk, we are having talk..." "Boooooo Party is sooo much funner! Keheh We can have a DJ and everything!"

As Xiao Hui made her towards the bus, Zoe walked right next to her as she heard her whisper cheekily in her ears to watch out for Ash since it seemed he had a way of stealing, preferably hearts. Xiao Hui stood there, blinking, hearts? Her heart? Or hearts in general? Literally speaking or figuratively? Shaking her head, Xiao Hui was confident she never had anyone stealing her "heart", I mean, she saw others found love, but never in her life she would believe someone would want to steal hers. Would he be the one to steal it? Or? She thought to herself, as her eyes unconsciously scanned towards Alec's back as she looked over towards the window. Whatever it was, she didn't want to think about it at the time since there were important matters at hand. However, realizing she was taking a glance over towards Alec, Xiao Hui reverted her attention back on the bus as she waited for Zoe and Eos to get on the bus before her. Sighing to herself softly, even if Zoe may be right. . she couldn't imagine that happening to her, in plus, her Father wouldn't even allow it, then again, did her Father still own her, after the stunt she pulled? Soon, Xiao Hui's ears perked at what Ash had said when he doubt that her words, which ones he disagreed on, she didn't know, but then again, maybe it was good she was clueless. Nevertheless, she turned around, laughing at Fie and Ash's interaction about phones. Next, Xiao Hui looked over at Calista as she wanted to round all of them up and back onto the bus. Nodding at Calista's words, she waited for Ash and Fie to climb aboard and then Leandra and Luness. Hearing Leandra's bell-like laughter, Xiao Hui couldn't help but laugh along with her. shaking her head. However, her face flushed slightly once more when she heard her name, wondering what she was telling Ash. However, feeling Laohu nudging her side, she smiled softly and petted his pelt. "Hui, stop dilly dallying and get on the bus." He said, resisting the urge to roll his eyes at the new pair that arrived to the team. Laohu hadn't said or thought of anything when Ash blatantly flirted with his partner. He wasn't worried about the man, since Hui could take care of herself, however, if he busted more moves that involved more intimacy, the male better keep one eye open. "When did you become so commanding?" Hui asked teasingly before trailing in behind the rest of the them as she looked around the bus. Everyone had been gearing up, choosing their weapons, and deciding on which side of the bus to take and which mission to go on. "I learn from the best." Laohu playfully bantered back at her.

Shaking her head, Xiao Hui rolled her eyes playfully and got onto the bus after Laohu. Seeing the weapons equipment in the back, Xiao Hui waited until everyone received theirs and the area was cleared to go and get hers. However, she heard a little commotion on her way over, as she heard Rin speaking to mostly Leandra and Zoe about staying with Gigi instead of going on the rescue mission. Simon and Jimbo, of course, no questions asked, since she also knew they were or rather, Simon and Calista were eager to go and get Strong back as quick as possible. Nevertheless, Zoe's headstrong personality won over and she and Eos were separated. Looking over at Zoe, Xiao Hui made a silent pact to take care of Eos and watch his back as well, while Laohu on the other hand huffed silently, not liking how they were separating. Laohu's concern and irritation grew when he saw Beth and Totus separating as well. He didn't know why, but seeing how two closely bonded beings were now departing from each other didn't feel . . or bode too well wit him. But, alas, it was none of his business, even if he had anything to say about it. On the other hand, hearing her teammates voicing out their opinions and not wanting any of them to be harmed made Xiao Hui's hope soar even more as she grinned at her friends.
"The more missions we take on, the more all of our bonds grow." She mindlinked Laohu as she examined the table of equipments. Xiao Hui still had her needles that she had yet to use, but perhaps she needed another weapon as well. Perhaps a short-hand knife, something that's quick and agile for her to work with. Laohu looked up and nodded his approval before showing his disagreement with Hui seeing the knowing look in her eyes,"As much as I believe in your ability to take care of youself, you're in no condition of promising others that you'll look after them when you need to look after yourself." Laohu reminded her before finding an empty space to lounge around. Glancing at Laohu, Xiao Hui grimaced slightly, "We're a team, Laohu, this isn't just about me, this is about them. To live, we need to work together, even if it means looking out for each other." Laohu stayed silent as he looked out the window, not saying another word to Hui. Even if he told her to look after herself, he knew she'd be stubborn about it. Sighing, he decided to let this go for argument's sake, "Which team are you deciding on going on?" Taking the two doubled-twinned knives that she eyed, Xiao Hui placed it on herself, out of sight of others but in a place where only she could reach and grab. "Gigi." She spoke, "We're going to protect Gigi." Xiao Hui said softly before turning over to Falarion and Gigi. Laohu hummed in approval, glad she hadn't chosen to go on the rescue mission, if she had, there would be some words.

Soon, the teams were decided as the rescue team were seated in the front while the one's protecting Gigi were in the back. Looking around for a seat, Xiao Hui sat down next to Laohu, though he didn't look at her. Shaking her head, Xiao Hui sat in her seat as the bus began to move, heading to the destination of the catacombs for the rescue team. When the bus pulled towards the catacombs, Xiao Hui shot everyone a look and encouragingly spoke out, "Good luck everyone, please stay safe, do what you can, and bring back Strong! I expect to see all of you back here, alive." She said sternly as she watched her companions leaving one by one quickly and steathily. Soon, the busy took off as Alec spoke up to Totus. Hearing his curt response, Xiao Hui looked at him with concern, as Laohu looked over at him and nodded towards him.
"Although she isn't with you here, physically, you still have that connection, that bond with her that will never die out. Have hope and don't give up before it even started. Trust her and she will trust you. Believe in her and yourself. Isn't that right?" He asked Totus, before continuing once more, "As much as we hate being separated from our partners, we have to make due with what we have. For Beth's sake, work as hard as you can, and don't let anyone's energy go to waste." He finished before laying his head back down, though his attention was still on Totus. Xiao Hui looked over at Laohu, as she gently slipped a finger in his pelt, caressing him slightly before speaking up, "Is there any devices that allows all of us to stay in contact with each other? Just in case we and they got separated? If so, we can use those communications when Totus stakes out the place from above and we are below?" Xiao Hui added in, hoping the rescue team got those devices before they left. Soon, Ash spoke up, asking if there was a leader for this group. Xiao Hui smiled softly, hearing Ash and Fie's interactions, as she couldn't get enough of their playful bickering and finishing each other's sentences. "Right now, we don't have a team leader. And so, if you don't mind volunteering, I don't mind you becoming the planner. Any plan you have in mind? We can't hand over Gigi and at the same time, the Rogues are expecting her to be there." She said sincerely, not at all concerned or worried to see who would become the lead person, as long as everyone agrees and has a say in it.

Calista had not yet left the bus and overheard Ash's request.

"Done Utopia, you're command for this team."

"Are you kidding me? If anyone should lead it's Xiao." Alec said, amazed. It seemed like the team had already been through hell together, and this newbie was put in charge? He had seen firsthand how Xiao had taken control in a chaotic situation and he trusted her. There was obviously more to the protests but Alec said nothing else.

"He's got the creds and he volunteered. Deal or don't go." Calista snapped before following the first team into the ground.

Alec tried not to feel stung by the short reply. Calista was right in a way, but he didn't have to like it.

The bus pulled away and rolled onward to their next stop.

"I can help with the communications." George, Nigel's companion piped up. Alec almost hadn't noticed him on the table where Calista had been. He scurried over to a small box and lifted a tiny earpiece out of it.

"Calista's got one of these. Should fit you too Totus, that way you can stay in touch. Come over here and I'll put it on. The rest of you have coms already fitted with the gear you took."

While George did that Alec pulled some of the protective vests off the rack, fitting one gently over Eos' back.

"Mind if I?" he asked the deer. "Zoe might act mad, but You and I both know she'd be devastated if anything happened to you." After that he fitted Duik too and found others for Laohu, Falarion and Gigi. It didn't seem like there was much for birds however, not anything that would let Totus properly.

When the bus rolled to a stop it was just in front of a large gate, pulled slightly open and propped. Beyond the garden stretched out, dull, grey and leafless in the winter daylight. Along the southern wall an old building rose, it looked like a school of some sort.

Gigi took a deep breath and stood bravely.

"I am ready."

Once he was sure everyone had what they needed he made his way over to Xiao.

"I know you can handle yourself." He began, suddenly finding the floor very interesting. "But, look, just watch your back, ok? I'd hate to see anything happen to you."

"Hey, I hope you'd hate to see anything bad happen to me too." Duik teased him. In reply Alec ruffled the hyena's head with both hands, grinning. "Knucklehead, of course I would!"

They both stepped out of the bus and waited for the others.

"Right, what are your orders Utopia?" He asked flatly.

He couldn't see anyone yet, and they were early, but that didn't mean the Rogues had already set up.

"I'm a pretty good shot, so if you need precision from distance, you can use me."

Calista was not that small. She could likely go toe to toe with one of the badgers they had faced earlier and come out on top. But when it came to moving silently and invisibly through terrain you would swear she had vanished completely. She watched her team take out guard after guard, even Simon seemed to be getting the best drops on their opponents. Amber would have been happy to see it. The pit of worry in her stomach churned at the thought of her partner and made her bare her teeth.

She reached Zoe and heard her question. "I've been trying. I, I think I can feel her...but the connection is fuzzy...like she's not all there. Its hard to explain. Its possible she's been drugged, or she's unconscious." They continued on and met up with Rin and Haku at the mausoleum.

She wrinkled her nose at the thought of humans helping the rogues.

"Mercs most likely. Pay them enough and they'd sell their own mothers, but we won't get answers chatting up here, let's get to it."

She searched the room carefully before finding what looked like a solid stone panel. She worked her way about the wall until she found a tiny nub and pressed it. Something shifted out of view.

"Jimbo, if you please." She gestured toward the slab, indicating it should slid free with the right amount of force.

Once the way was open Calista led the way. A strange smell wfted up through the dark tunnel and in the distance she could hear water dripping.

"This part must be close to the sewers. Keep your guard up. I'm willing to bet there's more than badgers down there."

The path was dully-lit by tiny electric mine lights. Halfway down (and to Calista's disgust) the walls shifted from rough sandstone to what looked eerily like human bone. The wall ahead confirmed it, for embedded in a cross pattern were cracked and aging human skulls.

"Oh lovely."

The path ahead split and Calista cursed. "Someone with a better nose, can you smell anything down either way?"

Eos felt his heart throbbing with a dulled pain as he watched Zoe departing, heading to a perilous journey, completely alone. He remembered the times before they became true partners how he watched the small, toddler girl exploring the garden all by herself. She never knew fear, curiosity always got the best of her and she refused to get help from anyone - even from her beloved sister. He recalled one occasion where she ventured into the gigantic garden all on her own, not returning for hours. He remembered how he, Natalie and her companion Umbra had been searching her in desperation only to find the blond haired baby playing with sticks, building a house from them. She was as clever as headstrong... she should be fine this time as well.

He phased back into reality as Alec gave him a comm device he smiled warmly.

" Of course not, I thank you. " he said " Protection is one of our main concerns, we need to be prepared for everything. "

He watched as Alec looked with a rather... neutral expression at their new leader, the newcomer Ash. He was uncertain how good he would be, not seeing him in action did plant the seed of doubt in his heart. But if anything went awry then the rest of them were still here, ready to act so he wasn't that worried. When Alec walked up to Xiao and comforted her he bowed his head, a warm fuzzy feeling enveloping his heart. He was glad that he cared about the girl so much... their bond was more precious than they could have realized. He walked up to him and with a voice not louder than a whisper he assured him:

" Worry not, I will not let any harm come to you or to your... girl... friend. " he smiled, looking at Duik " And of course to your awesome DJ. I can not imagine my life without your music, Duik. "

He waited as they finally stopped and stepped outside of the bus. It seemed that they indeed arrived first... but somehow he doubted that the enemy did not have a plan on their own. He watched his steps as he turned around to watch the others getting off the vehicle, waiting for orders.

Zoe nodded as Calista explained her feelings. It made sense, a drugged enemy would prove much less challenge to deal with than one with a clear head. This insidious tactic was useful for them to keep the agent in check, otherwise she was certain that Strong would have kicked their asses a long time ago. In any case while she was wondering about how to reply she noticed that Rin and Haku had found the entrance to the catacombs. Hurrying to them she patted the boy on his shoulder.

" Good find, Rin. " she said, looking into the yawning abyss, watching as Haku neutralized - well killed - the two guards. Adrenaline surged in her veins seeing the success of the snake and now with determination she lunged herself into the dismal place, yelling cheekily " Last one alive lock the door! "

As she walked downstairs she looked at the dead man and frowned.

" In my old organization we called them Sunless: they live in the shade of their greed, their spite and jealousy greater than any bond they would otherwise have. They, however, were better trained than this poor sod so either he was a newbie... or you are just damn lethal. " she turned to Haku, truly impressed.

As they descended through the dark hallways the stench of death started to permeate the air. The foul - though suppressed - smell was bearable but still bot Zoe at an edge. The walls were "decorated" with skulls of uncountable dead people and she felt a strange feeling washing over her. Suddenly she heard footsteps behind them and she turned with her bow ready - but there was nobody to be seen. Puzzled, she decided to press on when she heard the steps yet again, this time turning without hesitation, only to see the same, young blonde haired girl looking at her silently.

" Was it... my fault? " the small child asked as Zoe was taken aback from the horrifying sight. She knew the girl... she knew that voice.

It was her younger self.

" What... what do you...? " she shook her head and the girl disappeared. A vision? But how... and why? Why here and now? She was puzzled but regained her determination. The had no time for this, they had to push on. Catching up with the others she noticed that they had reached a crossroad.

" I doubt that anyone could smell anything. " she said " The foul stench down here probably suppresses the abilities that of the best tracker... "

Just as she uttered those words she knelt down, touching the floor.

" But maybe the footprints or some residue from these Rogues might still linger on the floor. You can make anything out of this, Beth? "

@SilverFlight @zCrookedz @andujarprime @Flutterby @Lioness075

Simon and Jimbo continued to press their advance on towards the inner circle. Simon kept an eye out for the others, watching as Zoe and Beth began taking enemy out with their bows with ease. He smiled at how well they were doing so far and made his way for the inner circle. When he arrived, a shiver ran up his spine when he came around a mausoleum to find a badger and a man laying on the ground after Haku had finished with them. His love for snakes may be a bit rocky, but he wanted to stay on Haku's good side after what he saw her do.

Only moments later did Jimbo come lumbering up. Simon was pretty proud of the gorilla, he wasn't the best at sneaking so he had stayed farther back and covered them with sniper fire from his MK9. Now it was nestled safely on his back again as he walked up to the mausoleum when the group met back up.

At her command, Jimbo lumbered over to the doorway and placed a big furry paw on it. He grunted as he slowly pushed the doorway open and the dark aroma of the tomb wafted over him. He stepped off to the side as the group funneled in, covering the back near Zoe. Simon followed behind Calista at the ready to leap at anything that should pose an immediate threat to the group as they descended further and further down. Soon the walls began to change and Simon winced in disgust as he saw the walls lined with skulls. When the path split he stopped at one of the entrances and tried to peer down its dark hallway.

Jimbo had kept his eyes and ears peeled as the descended. For a moment, he thought he heard Zoe talking to herself and found when he turned around to see she was facing the wrong direction. Maybe she heard someone coming up behind them? Jimbo shook it off, weird things happen in weird places. The dim light was going to make seeing and shooting a bit harder, and when the path split it only added on to the difficulty of the area. But when Zoe mentioned tracking to Beth, it gave Jimbo and idea.

"Beth, those specs Doc gave you, you got those handy? Night vision could help you see the tunnels better, but maybe the most traveled path will have some residual heat?"

@Lioness075 @SilverFlight @andujarprime @DawnAntalios

Beth tracked with Simon and Jimbo, only having to take out one other badger one her way. She felt endlessly grateful that she hadnt encountered a human yet. Even with her mind set on hunting, she wasnt sure she was ready to kill another human being.

Wordlessly, she stepped in behind them and switched to nightvision in the inky blackness. The tiny mining lights hardly disturbed it. The smell that came from the tunnel when it opened reminded her of a stale animal den. Silently, Beth moved down with the team. She turned her eyes to the skull-walls and touched one gently. It was fascinating to see so many at once. Theses were old, old bones. The team kept moving, and so did she. Beth worked her way toward the front, just in time to arrive at the split in the path. She crouched next to Zoe, turning off the nightvision, not answering the question as she studied the floor of the tunnel. There were plenty of scuff marks on the hard packed floor, but none seemed very consequential. "A lot of traffic through here, but no way of telling how recent. Footprints could stay for centuries in a place like this." She muttered, as if to herself. When the gruff voice of an owl didnt answer, she frowned. Was separating a good idea?

Jimbo brought her out of her momentary lapse, and she nodded silently and switched over. Everything turned a rainbow of blue and green. She stood and stepped back, studying the difference in colors. One side was had more green than the other, so she pointed to it. "Slightly warmer there." Beth stated, even though she was wondering if it was really that easy.

Totus shifted his wings as Ash was put in charge. He did not favor being under the command of a blushing, sweet-talking buffoon. But it also wasnt his call.

He looked to Laohu as he spoke and gave a grateful nod. "We very rarely separate. I know she can handle herself.. But I would rather be with her to make sure. It is no matter though, I am needed here, and I will do my best."

He moved over to George to recieve his communications device. It felt funny, but it was important for him to be able to communicate with those on the ground. As the bus pulled to a stop, he didnt wait for Ash to give orders. He flew up, up, and up, circling wide around the meeting place. With his sharp eyesight and hearing, surveillance wouldnt be a problem even at this distance. He gave his head a twist, then spoke so he would be transmitted to those below.

"Circling above. Will call out anything I see. Standby."

The owl did a full circle to see the whole area, then landed on a tall building and watched carefully. There were a lot of people wearing dark colors, but most were bustling about completely inconspicuously. Perhaps that was the key..

Rin followed along with them back to the entrance. Haku smiled at Zoe, her smiled looked more of a sly, evil grin because of her features. "Lethal is one way to put it dear." She responded to Zoe as she moved onward. Haku came to a stop beside Beth, she began to smell / taste the air. "You're on the right path Beth. I can taste their musk down that way as well." She confirmed before inching forward down Beth's chosen path. "Everyone be prepared." Rin whispered before stepping forward. It was hard to see more than an arms length ahead of them, because of this Haku, who navigated exceptionally well in the dark was able to send Rin mental images of what she was seeing. He in turn would be able to warn them of any upcoming guards. A few minutes down the tunnel and Haku sent Rin the image of three body signatures. A check point of sorts, the tunnel also branched in three different directions here. "Three more guards. at 9, 12, and 2." He whispered as he came to a stop. "About 100 yards ahead. Can you see them Beth? 2 rogues and a merc." He asked her turning to them. He felt Haku coiling up in the back of his head, she was ready to go. "2 is about my height and 12 aim low. The merc is at 2, Haku can take the target at 9 when you guys are ready." He informed them in a whisper.

Wednesday looked at ash as he offered, she had no objection, but didn't have any reason to respect someone she'd never truely met. Calista seemed to accept his offer though, so she figured she'd follow him. She stayed quiet as the road, privately discussing her concerns with Cerci- fears, lack of faith in their leader, all of it. Cerci agreed, but reminded her that she was essentially a soldier now, so they should follow orders.

Wednesday found it strange that Cerci- a bear who spent most her life as a loner- was better at understanding social principals than she was. Was cerci that great? More likely it spoke to how poor Wednesday was when it came down to fitting in with others.

She heard Alec telling ash how he could be best used and tuned back in. Should she share her own strengths? She didn't really have any direct ones- but she was good in tandem with fighters. She brushed her blond waves behind her ear as she put in the ear peice, then turned to help Cerci hook up her com.

"I'm not a great fighter, but I can't do anything from a distance. Cerci is much better than I am. If it comes to it, though, I think I could be responsible for getting Gigi somewhere safe quickly and quietly." Wendesday told ash, turning her head to look at him as she finished getting Cerci ready. Cerci gave her girl a toothy grin, proud to see Wednesday acting confident- more like her old self again.

Simon and Jimbo stepped off to the side to let Beth and the others pick a trail. Between the two of them, the amount of skill in tracking equaled about as much as a blind and deaf bloodhound with hyposmia. Watching as the others worked it out Jimbo nodded and returned to their pecking order in line when they began to head out again.

The dark tunnels only seemed to get darker and eerier the longer they continued on, but Simon's resolve did not waver from their goal. He wouldn't let himself think about anything but walking out of this hell hole without Amber and leaving all these rogues and mercenaries laying in a puddle of their own blood. Jimbo could feel the steely silence of emotions coming from Simon where he would usually feel the big guys joy or sadness, and he began to worry about him.

At the sound of Rin telling them to be prepared, Jimbo stood on his back legs grabbing for the beretta's hanging around his torso. Everything was still and quiet in the tunnel, except for the continuing drip from somewhere in the distance. Jimbo took a breath and listened to Rin tell them of the guards. Jimbo dropped his guns and tapped Simon on the shoulder. Immediately Simon dropped to one knee off to the side and Jimbo lifted his MK9 off his back once again. He settled the gun in his hands, then rested his hand gripping the barrel on Simon's shoulder. He gave the scope on the back a twist and the inside lit up green and grainy. It was not the best visual, nothing like Beth's glasses, but the night scope did help him see what Rin was seeing down the tunnel. Jimbo hoovered the cross hairs of his scope on the man to the right, sitting at 2 o'clock and tried breathe quietly to Rin.

"I've got 2 in my sights. Just tell me when."

Ash nodded when he was allowed to take the lead on this despite how some didn't seem to like the idea, though he fully understood that. Still he planned to try to work with everyone, and with luck (something he felt he had a lot of right now) the mission would be successful. When the bus rolled off again Ash walked over to the weapons and rechecked what he had as he listened to everyone, remaining silent for the time being. He placed on his bullet proof vest and handed a small one for Fie to put on knowing the little monkey may need it more than him seeing as how foolish he could be at times.

When they approached the stop he looked at the ones that told them his skill set and he nodded already thinking of a small plan in his head though he didn't say anything till he at least saw the terrain that they were on. When the bus came to a halt he closed his eyes and took a small breath before opening them, he didn't get off the bus right away. Instead he leaned against a pole and pulled out his wallet he stayed silent as he looked at a picture of the twins enjoying a day at the park on this one trip he went with them some time ago. A smile decorated his lips and he put the wallet away, now feeling a bit more motivated he grabbed an extra clip and a lighter before getting off the bus and looking around.

"Okay...... We want the side that has the most cover, we need to be careful here I don't want this to turn into a firefight but seeing as we are decked out with weapons I have a feeling that may happen. If that's the case we need cover, bullet proof vest can do so much." He turned on his com at this and looked at the sky. "Owl, can you tell me which side has the best cover? If things turn sour we will want to be there." After saying this he looked at Alec. "I need you as a sniper/counter sniper. Look for a spot you think will give you the best vantage point, if hell breaks loose I need you to take out the snipers they will likely have before giving us cover." Now looking at Wednesday he smiled at her. "You miss, can be on spotter/ground look out. While Owl has the air I want you to find a place to hide and give us more detailed information. For instance if you can figure out weapons, and armor the enemy is wearing that will be very useful."

Taking a small breath he looked at the Bear and Stag. "I'm assuming you two are heavy hitters, if that's the case you will give them the element of surprise. Find a decent hiding spot that way when they attack hopefully you can attack from the side or even the back. Xaio and I will be with Gigi, my specialty is close and personal, and seeing how Xaio has a blade I'm assuming she's the same. Your tiger will be with us as well... Will add in on the intimidation factor. Fie go set up some of your pain in the ass traps." Ash said before looking at all of them. "Look, I know I'm the new guy in all of this and it's hard to put faith in a guy you don't know. But like you guys I have plenty of mission to do after this so that being said. I will do my best to get everyone out of here alive and hopefully unharmed, I hear that tonight there is going to be a lovely sunset and I would enjoy getting a chance to see it. Any questions?" Fie raised his hand and giggled a bit. "Are we talking home alone style orrr Call of Duty~ Kehehe.." "Fie..." "Yes sir! Home alone it is!" With that the white monkey bolted off to do as he was told.

"Good work team." Calista said quietly. When they sighted the two guards and Jimbo said he had them locked Calista gave the signal to take them out.

As soon as it was done she was off, racing down the tunnel to see if they missed anyone around the corner. Nothing. They obviously weren't expecting an attack here. All of a sudden she could hear footsteps down the corridor and swore under her breath. There was no cover in the tunnel and nowhere to hide.

"On my mark we charge, take them out quietly if you can, if not, prepare for all Hell to break lose."

She flattened herself against one of the walls and inched her way forward. Before she even saw them an alarm began blaring overheard.

"Dammit! They had cameras down here! Team, take out the patrol up front!" Even as she said this she raced forward. The tunnel suddenly opened into a small room with a table and a few chairs. On the table was a monitor with various camera feeds. Calista made a beeline for that. "Hold them off!" She shouted as the first few fighters came into view. Two mercenaries with sub-machine guns and a pair of leopards. The animals, startled by their sudden appearance attacked first, preventing the mercs from firing for the first few moments.

Calista swore again as one of the cats landed on the table and snapped at her. She dodged the bite and kicked the leopard in the jaw, but all that did was make it angry.

"Oh Eos." Alec groaned as the stag made another teasing jab. Was this what it was like to have an embarrassing father? Actually, that thought made him smile, and decided to remember the feeling. He looked gratefully at Eos, though the deer would not know why.

As Ash listed off tasks Alec rolled his eyes and gave their new leader each team member's name.

"That school rooftop is the best vantage point, but if things go sideways down here I won't be able to get to you." Alec didn't like that idea, he also didn't like that Ash had put himself with Xiao but he kept his mouth shut. Suddenly in the distance he spotted a small rounded turret with a roof, sitting out in the open of a circular flower bed.

"I'll be over there setting up."

He noticed Ash looking at the photographs and his curiosity was peaked. "Girlfriends?" He asked, his tone carried a hint of judgement.

Duik had not been given a job, and seeing as he didn't think he'd be much used with Alec bounded after Fie.

"Dibs helping the monkey!" He yipped and took off.

"Duik!" Alec hissed but he was already gone. He growled in frustration.

"Remember Ash, our job is to buy the other team time to find the missing agent. We should have a team go to the meeting place and pretend to want to make the exchange. If these guys have Strong we radio the other team for backup, if they're bluffing, we have to get out, and fast."

Gigi appeared by them, ready to do her part. "We shall try and determine quickly whether zey 'ave agent Strong or not." She said in a determined tone.

"Êtes-vous prêt mes amis?"

@crucialstar @DawnAntalios @Peaceswore @Hel @Sleipnir @Lioness075

The hyena caught up with Fie soon enough and crept through the flower beds with his belly dragging through the wet earth.

"Just tell me what to do Monkey man! I am here to serve. It'll be like, what if Kevin's brother got left behind too, and he wasn't a total jerk."

Suddenly Duik froze and he put out a paw to stop Fie. A few feet away, standing on the other side of an armless statue was a water buffalo. A BIG water buffalo.

It wore a bullet-proof vest and on the flank he bore the same symbol Duik had seen on the copter that had kidnapped agent Strong.

"Dude! That's not park security!" He whispered. "What do we do?!"

@Peaceswore

While the team prepared two Rogue snipers began setting up on the school roof just where Alec had indicated. Several more thugs appeared close to the meeting place, a few making sure to stay out of sight.

At Calista word, Jimbo eliminated the targets, watching them all drop as Haku took out the other. Jimbo sighed, releasing the breath he had held onto to help ease the movement. He patted Simon on the opposite shoulder as he lifted his rifle up to return to its holster. He turned to look at Jimbo and nodded to him, his quiet salute of praise for a good shot. Jimbo gave Simon a return nod and the pair followed off down the hall with the others.

When the reached the end of the hallway, Simon began taking note of which way they had come and furrowed his brow for a moment.

"We should mark which way we came from, so we don't get lost during our escape."

Before he got a response however, Simon heard the footsteps coming down the hall and joined Calista against the wall to try and ambush those coming. But the sounds of the alarms quickly through and chances of an ambush out the window as he followed Calista to what appeared to be a monitoring room.

The guards that entered before them were accompanied by to very large, very mean looking leopards, which turned Jimbo's blood to ice water as soon as he saw them. When the first leopard jumped upon the table, Jimbo stood upright and took hold of the Beretta's across his chest and pointed them across the room.

"Simon! Big Cat!!"

Simon was already on the move as his partner called out, rushing towards the table as fast as he could go in the small area. He smashed his gauntlets together, and with a whirr like a AED they came to life as Simon reached the table and attempted to tackle the blasted cat away from Calista.

Jimbo on the other hand had set his sights on keeping those with guns busy and with a click from the safeties on the Beretta's, a small shower of empty cartridges began to litter the floor as Jimbo fired upon them with both barrels.
