Located in the Verdant Highlands of the distant continent of Ryneer, the Empire of Kalivan oversaw the lands it ruled for over 250 years. Its rise to power was not a peaceful one, however, being marked by countless years of intense bloodshed and violence against its cutthroat neighbors. For once upon a time it lay near the bottom of the pecking order, despite being situated atop the world. Yet as others squabble regarding the issues of the past, one would stand to look towards the future with lofty ambition.

It was said that the woman who’d become the first queen of her newfound kingdom, Caroline Kalivanna had gained a vision from a figure adorned in crimson attire. As one of the few women berserkers in service to her hometown, she was an intelligent yet violent individual who longed for freedom and peace. The entity showed her a mighty empire spawning from a pool of vigorous ichor; a world united under her aspiring hand and leadership. She was to tame the chaos which infected her neighbors, bringing forth order and stability through a fierce demonstration of strength and blood. She would have its blessing-

Giving into her relentless rage and bloodshed, Kalivanna was able to unite the various hardy settlements of the Highlands and lead a bloody conquest against their neighboring kingdoms through precision and careful planning. Amongst those that vowed into her service, she hand picked the finest warriors to act as her elites - the Crimson Guard - those fearless and furious enough to do whatever necessary to ensure absolute victory. They wouldn’t fail her. Taking their enemies by surprise, Kalivanna’s forces swiftly cut down all who opposed her, with many records stating how she fought on the battlefield with the ferocity of a demon and the determination of an archangel. Those witnessing her prowess first hand found themselves revering her just as much as they were terrified of her.

After several years of intense fighting, and many gallons of blood spilt across the land, the remaining kingdoms would finally surrender to Queen Kalivanna of the Kalivan Empire, dreading the worst from her ire and fury. Yet instead of assimilating the rest of the remaining territories or executing their leaders outright, she would allow them to continue existing as allies of the Kalivan Empire as a sign of respect. She would help them rebuild their ruined settlements and eventually peace would gradually return to the continent. Thus starting a new golden age for the continent of Ryneer.

Kalivanna’s rage would damper as the years went by, forming her into a strong yet fair ruler till the very end; her visage entering the textbooks as the incarnation of the “Skarlet Knight” herself. Yet despite her dampening temper, her teachings as a berserker would live on in the “Crimson Guard”, preparing new generations of Elite “Fury Knights” in the event such unbridled fury and bloodshed was ever needed again.

Over two centuries later, the rumblings of war would threaten to divide the Empire once more. The very kingdoms which Kalivanna had spared from the beginning had grown more distant from their conquerors, demanding to be fully independent. Negotiation treaties have fallen through; gifts and tribute have been rejected. Soon enough, people will be slain. It was only a matter of time.

On the eve of the imminent war, Redahlia Vahlendein was feeling uneasy. As a fully devoted “Fury Paladin”, she had worked tooth and nail to become who she was now. She was a violent child growing up, suffering from explosive behavior at even the slightest inconveniences thrown her way. As the middle child of three within a relatively poor but humble family, one could point fingers to a few potential issues stemming from the household. Though aside from the typical struggles of sibling rivalry, the economic struggles, or the parents' struggle keeping together a family of five, it wouldn’t quite explain the sheer wrath that Redahlia possessed.

As she got older, Redahlia decided to focus her anger by training for the Kalivan military. She often ran from home to watch the soldiers and knights train near the barracks. It was the one place where she felt at peace. She studied their movements, eavesdropped on their stories, and took notes on the odd tidbit of info heard by drill sergeants. She even tried replicating their moves in a dark alley or two, though her frantic and wild swings didn’t quite match the smooth calculated precision the other knights possessed. It was frustrating, but Redahlia continued her self-training.

One night, while heading home from the barracks, thirteen year old Redahlia would find herself assaulted by a couple of older boys. They burst from the dark alleys as they held her in place, attempting to hit and abuse the poor girl for their own sick amusement. They called her an assortment of names and slurs, with one even wielding a sharpened stick to hit and shank her. It was then, in a fit of unbridled rage, Redahlia was able to yank the stick from them and stabbed it into the assailant’s stomach. Then again. And again. She stabbed many deep puncture wounds into the assailant’s body like a needle through a pincushion. The boys were utterly mortified at this display of gruesome violence, hearing every grunt and screaming coming from Redahlia’s mouth as she seemed to take catharsis in this brutal killing.

Yet the kids, numbering four to one, would make the attempt to avenge their friend and give her a proper beating. Redahlia fought for her life, injuring most of the kids with the pike in hand, but she was losing. Just as it seemed she would succumb to their wrath, an armored figure came over to see what was going on. Clad in full black armor from head to toe, it was the unmistakable visage of a “Fury Knight”, a member of the Crimson Guard. His appearance caused the kids to immediately disperse; leaving the two alone in the dark alley. Redahlia was scared, believing she was going to be punished for killing someone. The knight, however, believed to have found someone special. A vengeful crimson-haired girl, having spilt her first blood against one who had clearly wronged her. He had not a single doubt in his mind.

She was a perfect candidate for a Fury Knight.

After years of brutal training, Redahlia would get that wish by the age of 35. By then she was able to learn to control and manipulate her sheer anger, while letting loose on the field of battle and training against her own. She became more calm and collected to the point where she wasn’t simply lashing out at everything. For the first time in her life, she felt like she was mostly in control of herself. Soon she started attracting friends and comrades, helping to further engage with the outside world and its politics. In fact, she was even successful in capturing the eye of a royal sword maiden from the eastern Kingdom of Falinheim - a fine lass named Merrin. They’d visit each other whenever they could; where one thing led to another, leading to the promise that they would one day marry.

Yet by the eve of war, Falinheim was one of the few kingdoms that wanted to separate from the Kalivan Empire. And there were plans of invading Falinheim’s royal capital with the Fury Knights leading front and center. Redahlia dreaded this day though refused to show weakness to her fellow knights. The only thing which mattered to her now was keeping Merrin safe and out of the way from their wrath. So long as she could get to her first before everyone else.

So when the Fury Knights stormed the gates of Falinheim that winter, Redahila was the first to break ranks and race towards Merrin’s manor as fast as she could. Even amiss the imminent destruction, no one was to stand in her way - not them and not even her own comrades. Though just as she arrived deeper into town, she’d see Merrin fighting Kalivan common soldiers, with her swift and gracile flurry of swipes and slashes effortlessly dispatching of her quarry. So when the two would finally meet on opposite sides of the battle, there was initially a mounting tension that nearly suffocated the very air they breathed. A fight seemed imminent.

Merrin then lunged at Redahlia, embracing the fury knight with a hug. Despite the situation happening around them, both knew how they truly felt about all this. Their love for one another shined brighter than the fires of war around them. They wouldn’t hurt each other. Though it wouldn’t stop the others on both sides to slay them for their heresies. Needing to leave, the two would proceed to fight their way out of the city. Together, they appeared unstoppable.

Though as they turned towards a breach in the southern wall, an arrow struck Merrin on her side. While she was resilient against her own injury, it had already sealed her fate. No matter how much Redahlia tried her damndest to protect her, the troops just kept coming. Blow after blow. Cut after cut. They began to riddle them down to exhaustion. Suddenly a fellow Fury Paladin would emerge from behind and sever Merrin’s sword arm, tossing them several feet away into the tainted snow. Redahlia was enraged, as she savagely dispatched one of her own comrades in a fit of fury and anguish.

Once she gave herself a moment of rest, Redahlia comforted her dying consort in her arms. A wave of guilt washed over her that told her she failed in protecting the one she loved, despite Merrin not blaming her for all this. With one final kiss, the fine sword maiden would breathe one last prayer before collapsing limp in Redahlia’s arms.

And it was that moment where everything changed...

When the Scarlet Rage took hold.

Redahlia snapped. Her rage and anguish spiked as she felt her blood boil and seethe at what had just occurred. A disembodied voice urged for her to strike vengeance at those who wronged her; one both familiar yet unfamiliar. But she wouldn’t have the patience to figure that out. Reason was thrown completely out the window as she gave herself completely to her inner anger she had long controlled and suppressed for so long. There was nothing more she had to lose. And let herself loose she did - on everyone and everything in her sights.

Like a raging demon, Redahlia unleashed her inner rage and began slaughtering countless Kalivan and Falinheim soldiers in her wake with little regard to her own health and safety. So savage was her fury and body count, that it forced both opposing forces to temporarily leave the walled city in order to regroup and restrategize against this seemingly unstoppable rampaging killing machine.

For a brief moment in time, the empty ruined city belonged to Redahlia. Her once black armor was now battered and stained crimson with the blood of countless victims, while her face showing fresh deep scars scratched across. She could’ve used this opportunity to escape, but instead she continued comforting the body of her lover. She begged for her to come back to life, for anyone or anything to bring her back. Yet there would be no response. Her broody grief stricken face lowered in despair, feeling Merrin’s pale skin and soft dress one last time before finally leaving the premises.

Waiting for her as Redahlia exited Falinheim through a breach on the south wall of the city were the rest of the Fury Knights. The strongest and most skilled had made themselves known including her own mentor that brought her in all those years ago. While they understood her loss, they couldn’t in good conscience let her leave Falinheim alive given she had killed her fellow soldiers.

Redahlia was exhausted, but still had a bit more energy left in her. One last fight and she might possibly make it out of here alive. Or die trying. Though as she prepared, the voice from earlier revealed itself a final time, saying something she scarcely recalled.

The next thing Redahlia knew, she found herself chained and bound. Suspended off the ground within a spiraling void. The world around appeared to be one swirled in entropic forces and of manic decay. It was downright apocalyptic. Then a deep reverberating voice pierced through her head, followed by the appearance of an entity shrouded in crimson red. It was huge... incomprehensibly so. The sheer size of it couldn't be determined.

And it certainly was not from her realm.

The voice stated how Redahlia's soul was at a crucial crossway, plucked away at the very last moment from being completely vanquished. The gods of her world wanted to punish her for her chaotic influx at Falinheim, being utterly terrified at what she could become. A threat to the gods themselves. Yet the entity before her - a crimson devil named "Ahkannia" from a neighboring realm - wished to acquire possession of her soul to further enhance her surging potential. She could prove to be more than a valuable asset, saying how it would be a waste for her talents of violence and fury to go to waste. Should she wish to continue live, she'd have to serve under it as a warrior in another world.

She would be resurrected effectively... as a Hellborn.

Redahlia initially protested at the thought of becoming a slave to a devil. However, the devil explained the pact situation that all devil patrons follow and explained the rules accordingly. By all accounts, she was allowed virtually as much freedom as the average mortal human within reason. Even her looks would be relatively unchanged, aside from a mark on her chest that would showcase Ahkannia's ownership. The catch was that she had to serve both Hell and her Patron's direct interests whenever they arose. Failing to do so or directly opposing them would warrant consequences. Of course, should Redahlia prove the Patron to be misleading or abusing her terms to the Devil Court, a term could be struck from the list or among other equivalent compensation towards the warlock.

There were other rules to this pact that all who accept would have to deal with too...

It was a difficult decision. Both sides weren't ideal, but the anger and vengeance burning deep within Redhalia refused to let her soul be destroyed. They sought for atonement and for that they needed the Scarlet Knight alive. It was a chance to continue doing good. And maybe, just maybe, she could escape the pact given the right circumstances. So after reading through the pact carefully, Redahlia forced herself to accept Ahkannia's pact and was whisked away to the realm of "Isekai Hell" as a Hellborn... starting her work under her new patron.

And the start of her new life in "Isekai Hell".

Yz’s backstory isn’t that important. She’s bounced around all over the place and hit her head more times than one usually should... what she has managed to bring with her to this world probably doesn’t belong to her... and probably shouldn’t belong in her possession for the sake of everyone’s safety. Plus, she’ll likely ramble about anything she may or may not have done in a past life (or lives). She’s probably insane to most, but in some way, she’s a lot more aware of what’s happening than anyone has ever been about anything ever.

Luca Moretti was born into a seemingly normal family in a quiet suburban neighborhood. His parents, both high-achieving professionals, had high expectations for him, which only intensified as he grew older. From a young age, Luca exhibited an unsettling calmness and a lack of emotional response that set him apart from his peers. While other children formed bonds and expressed feelings, Luca remained distant, his eyes often betraying a cold, calculating intellect.

As he entered his teenage years, Luca's emotional detachment evolved into a fascination with the darker aspects of human nature. He immersed himself in true crime literature and psychological thrillers, analyzing the minds of notorious criminals. This fascination transformed into a series of disturbing behaviors—he would capture small animals, conduct experiments, and document their reactions, all while remaining impassive.

At school, Luca was both an enigma and a target. His classmates found him unsettling, and while some feared him, others were drawn to his mysterious aura. He never formed lasting friendships, preferring to observe from the sidelines. His intelligence made him a top student, yet his lack of empathy led to conflicts with teachers and peers alike.

As he approached his 19th birthday, Luca's behavior escalated. He began to engage in risky activities, experimenting with manipulation and deceit. He excelled at drawing people into his web, only to discard them once he had what he needed—information, status, or simply the thrill of control. Luca's disregard for the emotional fallout of his actions became more pronounced, and he began to feel invincible.

His obsession reached a peak when he decided to orchestrate a dangerous game with a group of friends, testing their limits and his own. This game involved a series of increasingly perilous dares, pushing boundaries and risking lives. Luca, ever the strategist, believed he could control the outcome, but the unpredictability of human emotions proved too much for him to manage.

The climax of this game took place on a fateful night at an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. As tensions escalated and fear gripped the participants, Luca's cold demeanor turned to reckless abandon. In a moment of hubris, he attempted to create a scenario that involved a mock hostage situation, intending to observe the chaos that ensued.

However, things spiraled out of control. One participant, feeling cornered and desperate, misinterpreted Luca's intentions and acted in self-defense. In a sudden, tragic turn of events, a struggle ensued, and a knife was drawn. Luca, caught off guard, was fatally injured in the chaos.

Word of a vicious beast terrorizing the Eastern Empire reached him—a massive, ogre that had been terrorizing the countryside for days.

Driven by a mix of curiosity and a desire for recognition, Luca set out to confront the beast. Armed with a magical sword he found in the ruins of an ancient temple, he tracked the ogre to its lair. The battle that ensued was fierce, yet Luca's analytical mind and lack of fear allowed him to exploit the primitive ogres weaknesses. After a grueling fight, he emerged victorious, slaying the ogre and earning the admiration of the Eastern Empire.

Luca’s triumph over the dragon quickly made him a folk hero. Bards sang songs of his bravery, and tales of his cold, calculating nature turned him into a symbol of strength and resilience. The Eastern Empire celebrated him with feasts and festivals, and he was offered titles and lands. However, Luca remained detached from the adoration, seeing it as another game to navigate. He accepted their accolades with a stoic expression, viewing his new status as a means to an end.

While Luca's victory over the ogre was a significant turning point, much of his rise to fame in the Eastern Empire was built on manipulation, cunning, and deceit. After his victory, he subtly suggested that the death of such a terrible monster had left a power vacuum in the small villages, hinting that other, more dangerous creatures might rise to threaten the Empire. He offered his services as a protector, using fear to position himself as an indispensable figure in the region. This not only increased his influence but also led to lucrative contracts for "security" services against potential threats he himself had exaggerated.

Luca adeptly manipulated relationships with influential nobles and guild leaders. He forged alliances by promising them lucrative rewards and protection from imagined enemies. However, he often played these alliances against one another, feeding them misinformation about each other’s intentions to maintain control. By creating a sense of dependency, he ensured that they would support his ambitions, further elevating his status while keeping his hands clean.

During his travels, Luca would often embellish his tales of past exploits. He claimed to have single-handedly taken down bandit camps and rescued entire villages, often spinning stories that made him seem more heroic than he was. These tales spread through word of mouth, and soon, people began to believe in the legend of the “Cold Knight” who could take on any challenge.

Recognizing that many leaders were corrupt or flawed, Luca would expose their weaknesses, often through carefully planted rumors or hints. This manipulation of power dynamics allowed him to rise while others fell, as he gained the trust of those in power by playing both sides.

To maintain his reputation, Luca staged events where he appeared to save innocents from danger. For instance, he might set up a scenario where a band of thieves attacked a caravan, only to intervene at the last moment, painting himself as the fearless hero. The truth was that he had orchestrated the entire event, ensuring that he was the one to emerge as the savior.

Alden was said to be over a hundred years old, though none could know for sure. Once, he had been a man of boundless strength, a loyal vassal whose deeds echoed through the halls of power. In his prime, he fought with unmatched skill and devotion, trusting his lord and comrades without question.

But trust can be sharper than any blade.

The betrayal came without warning. His lord, the one he had sworn to protect, turned on him. His comrades, those who had fought by his side, delivered the blow. In the chaos that followed, Alden lost his right arm to treachery and the use of his left leg to a fall that should have ended him. Crippled and discarded, he was left to crawl away, broken in body and spirit.

Alden tried to rebuild, to rise above the wreckage of his life. But the world had no place for a man who could no longer stand tall. His once-powerful frame grew frail, his vigor fading with each passing year. Time wore on, but the wounds of betrayal festered within him.

He cursed his enemies, the ones who had cast him aside. He cursed himself, too, for surviving when he could do nothing to change his fate. Regret became his shadow, and hate was the only fire that kept him warm.

Decades passed, and Alden grew old - older than anyone thought possible. As his life ebbed away, he lay alone, staring into the distance. Only then, in the final moments of his life, did the hate loosen its grip on his heart. Regret remained, sharp and heavy, as he realized he had wasted the years given to him.

Alden closed his eyes one last time, his story unfinished, yet marked by the scars of what could have been.
Alden’s final breath never came. Instead, a cold breeze brushed against his skin, and the scent of fresh water filled his senses. Slowly, he opened his eyes, blinking against the morning light. He found himself lying on soft grass beside a calm lake, the gentle ripple of its surface reflecting the sky.

Confused, he pushed himself upright, and froze.

His right arm moved, whole and strong. His left leg, once lifeless, now responded without hesitation. Trembling, he crawled toward the lake, his movements unsteady with disbelief. When he gazed into the water, an unkempt and aged face stared back. It was his own, yet not the same. This face bore the weathered lines of age, but not the ravages of time. His reflection showed the man he could have been, uncrippled, unbroken.

Alden's breath hitched as he flexed his hand, feeling the strength he thought he had lost forever. He stood, unsteady at first, then firm on his feet. His body, though still old, it had strength and potential - a blend of wisdom and vigor.

As he took in his surroundings, it became clear he was no longer in the world he had known. The sky seemed wider, the air heavier with life. In the distance, towering mountains touched the heavens, and forests stretched endlessly.

His heart stirred with something he had not felt in decades. This was not the world he had left behind, nor the life he had resigned himself to. This was a chance - a new beginning.

Backstory:
The Novalume family name has circulated through the kingdom of Rotia since its establishment. Serving as a crucial crutch to the kingdom, the noble family of vampires proved their worth over the years through their strategic military might. Serving as a night guard for the kingdom, they would keep watch and fiercely protect the kingdom utilizing the moon as their guiding light.

Their adaptability, tenacity, and countless sacrifices is what sparked a close relationship with the royal family many years ago and is still upheld by those same morals today. Backstory: In January 16th Zac was born into a low class family, with two siblings one boy and one girl. He lived his life normally but he always felt that the world was too unjust, everywhere he turned he could pratically see the innocent get hurt and the worst get worse. Sadly due to having absolutely no power over anything Zac simply endured, he was good at enduring afterall.

Many years later after aging to his 20s Zac was alone, he was in another city away from the family because of college and trying to step into life on his own. Not knowing it would end up that he would never be able to actually take even one step.

"It all started on January 15th, yes a day before my 'beatiful' celebration day. While walking back to my house, I couldn't stop but smell something hot... smokey. It was burning... yes something was burning! I saw the house, crumbling and burning down right in front of me, woman screaming about her child and utter chaos. At that moment I saw it, a rich man being saved from his room BEFORE the child! I couldn't believe it the firemen were practically letting the poor kid die just for some old rich guy! I couldn't! No I cannot make this someone elses problem! Without a thought in my mind I rushed inside the house, I could feel my skin burn yet I didnt stop. I AM good at enduring after all. I grabbed the child running out as fast as I could, feeling my feet burn and smoke infiltrate into my lungs yet I did not care. Child was looking at me with crying face yet I could see hope in his eyes! Hope… thats what I wanted to live fo-... I collapsed right at the door. Kid survived, yet I had taken too much damage and smoke into my system. Many years of smoking surely didn't help me.

That day I died, right before fading away I could still hear the kid crying calling out to me ‘Hero! Hero! Live!’. Knowing he survived was enough for me...”

Whizziemin originates from the First Continent, and comes from the same abyssal hole of spawn as all other monsters. Fortunately, he was graced with the blessing of two brothers, of which he himself was the middle sibling. Neramo as his older, who had a desire to become some sort of powerful Demon King, and Dreayth, who had goals of power and supporting his brothers. Even though the logic of their origin would denote that monsters wouldn't have siblings, it was how it was, and Whizzie followed them on their venture to the Second Continent where further chaos ensued.

While past events had happened, with Whizzie travelling with his brothers and meeting some interesting faces, one of the other most memorable people he had come across was Hiroshi. A rather attractive and alluring man with an aura of power, confidence and underlying cunning which peaked his interest. The land of non-monsters and its' inhabitants were... rather interesting, something he wished to toy around with.

Though in his time away from things, after a date to a casino ended up... rather lackluster, Whizzie would find himself sinking into some solitude to work upon his discoveries and research. In his time, he had managed to acquire a Black Orb, the same kind that were used to investigate the identities of people. An interesting creation, one which peaked his curiousities of the best that could have come out of this world's most genius minds. That, and after a major incident elsewhere in the world that involved a lot of bugs, the creatures and monsters of this continent also began peeking his interest.

In very determined research and isolation, Whizzie worked and toiled away to understand more of this reality, it's greatest accomplishments and all that, he tested a little bit on himself here and there and underwent a little bit of... curious change. Manipulation to one's self? Sounded like the kind of thing his biggest brother would be interested in. Unfortunately, it was his own interest to do with now, and with a little bit here and there, he found himself rather infatuated and addicted to the energizing feeling of his partially insectoid changes... though at the cost of an imperfected process and execution, it felt like he found himself weaker.

No matter, research was research. For the sake of whatever he pleased, he would get there. He was Whizziemin, the greatest of all time, and he would be royalty. No matter how many creatures he had to deem 'useful resource', or 'useless existence'.

Whizziemin is returning from isolation back to the world, looking to reconvene with his siblings if he can locate them, as well as perhaps a slight fondness to seek out wherever Hiroshi had went off to. Otherwise, it's up to whatever his mine concocts out of interests for him to chase after.

Leo Valenhart was the ninth and youngest child of House Valenhart, a family renowned for their impeccable swordsmanship. Unfortunately for Leo, he was about as good with a sword as a fish was at climbing trees. His siblings carved their names into history with their elegant bladework, while Leo carved up more kitchen accidents than battle victories. His family considered him "useless," a sentiment they rarely bothered to hide.

But Leo wasn’t completely hopeless - not that anyone cared. He had a knack for theory, understanding battle tactics and techniques better than most. However, when it came time to put those theories into practice, well, let's just say he was better at dodging swords than swinging them.

Instead of enduring endless lectures and bruises, Leo often snuck away from training. He’d pester adventurers for tales of glory and tag along with hunters in nearby woods. This was his real passion - hearing stories of adventure, mischief, and distant lands where swordsmanship wasn't the only path to greatness.

On the stormy night before his dreaded coming-of-age ceremony, Leo made a bold decision: he was going to run away rather than face humiliation and likely end up as cannon fodder in the kingdom’s army. It was all going well until his horse slipped in the mud, sending both steed and rider hurtling off a cliff. As he plummeted toward what should've been his dramatic and very messy end, Leo thought, "Well, this is new."
When Leo woke up, he was surprisingly not dead - just very confused. The sky was clear, the grass greener than anything he’d seen before, and most importantly, nobody was waving a sword at him. It didn’t take a genius to realize this wasn’t home, but Leo wasn't about to complain.

He wandered into a small, cozy village where the locals took pity on his “memory loss” excuse. They let him stay, and Leo did odd jobs to repay their kindness. During his time there, he stumbled upon some books about tinkering. The foreign terms should have stumped him, but his mind just clicked with the concepts.

Soon enough, he was piecing together scraps of metal, wood, and elastic quartz crystal. The result? A slingshot that packed a punch and made the villagers laugh at his absurd accuracy. They joked that he might finally be useful for scaring off crows. Leo took it as a compliment.

Life in the village was peaceful, but peace wasn’t what Leo wanted. After getting comfortable and learning the basics of this strange new world, he knew it was time to move on. Armed with his trusty slingshot, a bag full of tinkered odds and ends, and a grin that spoke of playful mischief, Leo set off into the unknown.

Backstory: He was just a boy. Age of nine and attending elementary school like the rest. Raised by a caring pair of parents. He was one of few children of his age that wasn't afraid of the dark. He reveled in it. He sought it out. And one day, he fell into it. Becoming lost in it. Seeing what truly lies within the darkness. Meeting it, and making a pack with it. One of safety and power in return for worship. Concepts he only partially understood in his youth. But, coming out on the other side to meet a world that was not his own, he quickly understood what was required of him.
Current Life: Aleris found himself alone, at the stoop of a lesser known magical academy in the Duchy of Roran. He refused to tell the truth of his past or where he came from, choosing instead a lie of amnesia (Deception skill). And so when no one else stepped up, the Academy's Librarian, A kind old human man named Terrance Monferrat, took him in after much debate among the staff and administration. Although, he found his teachers to be dry and while he did graduate, he engaged very little with the classes. Instead choosing to use his access to the academy library, through his adopted father's position, to self teach himself some the magical arts that were more advanced than someone of his normal level (academia and arcana skills). He progressed quickly, far quicker than most in the academy. And that is when the dreams began. The being in the darkness began to speak with him again. Reminding him of his purpose. Soreiel was once an ancient and all powerful god of darkness and destruction named Grima. For countless Eons Grima was part of the natural order of things in his world along side the god of light and life, his opposite. This opposite named Naga would try anything she could think of to save the world that was doomed to be destroyed, the heroes she would summon would fight for light, only for most to eventually succumb to the allure of power Grima offered.

With these turned heroes Grima would lead the world to its doom, however Naga would then send one of her still loyal warriors to the past to try and alter fate, leading to a never ending cycle of pain and suffering, death and destruction. Naga didn’t see this as a fundamental aspect of nature, or even as the undeniable fragility of human nature, no she saw this as a personal attack, and after seeing her beloved heroes and world being destroyed more times then they were saved, she had enough, she used every ounce of power she had for the next iteration to send her opposite, mind and soul to a different universe, to finally rid the world of the dark gods influence. Naïvely Naga thought this would either leave the dark god unable to return, or teach him a valuable lesson on how life mattered and how it should be saved and not destroyed. Unfortunately this thinking would lead her world to collapse within a few generations.

Soreiel was born into slavery as her parents had already been enslaved, she has no knowledge of her home or how beastkin society functions.

Being from the standard, plain, boring, default Earth just like a lot of other Isekai victims, Axi was an always-positive and sunny-days firm believer and follower of his one true lord: Jesus Christ. Nothing out of the ordinary as a person-wise, he'd go about his regular day and life doing simple mundane jobs and life, just trying to help and be nice wherever possible even when the world wasn't fond of him or his ways. This could be from feeding homeless and those in need, helping out at any places that needed help for caring those in health/life troubles, or simply spreading the word. Everyday was one long wait for the Rapture, that was until one day where the world apparently had other plans for him.

One fateful night, he'd find himself awoken from his slumber by a golden light. Not sure if it was the demons messing with him again, or something genuinely prophetic, it wouldn't be long before he'd be dragged through some sort of portal elsewhere to another world. Not that he knew where he was going or why, he knew that he'd find out sooner or later. God had a plan, there was always a plan, and whilst he himself had no clue what it could be, there was definitely some reason he'd been divinely sent to another realm.

Being abruptly sent to a new unknown world, strangely finding himself decked in armour and with a large kiteshield he'd never seen before (likely wherever his first RP is).

The Galactic Union - Akol's Jurisdiction - Planet X128 - ET Year 58XX

As... unexpected as it is considering her demeanor, Echo was born a princess. With her mother being a promiscous, power-hungry ruler, she was merely one of many in line to the planet's throne, ranking eighth. But being born an incredibly frail fawn, rather than any far-fetched dreams of competing for the throne, Echo was just happy to have been blessed with survival. If she was not born a princess, with the lap of luxury and the best cybernetics at her disposal, she wouldn't have even come close to surviving.

So, even if she gradually became neglected and forgotten about in the radiance of her siblings' galaxy-wide talents and grandeur, she was grateful.

It wasn't always lonely, though. Her precious older brother, though from a different father, was a kind soul also without interest in the throne. He would accompany her occasionally in between his studies, listening to her ramble about her little mecha dolls and teasing her with little magic tricks he had learnt in his trips to other star systems.

She thought she knew him, and was content to live the rest of her life tucked away in their little corner of the palace. So, she couldn't believe her eyes when he forced all of their siblings, parents and family members into a brutal murder game, cackling madly to himself as he toyed with their existences.

The auntie he constantly praised and looked up to for her intellect? Shot with a self-immolation dart.
The brother he promised to see the end of the void with? Head blown off by a plasma launcher.
The mother he had worked tirelessly to save from her parasitic battle wounds? Eaten alive by nanobugs.

He slaughtered everyone in the way of his throne without restraint, each move cruelly calculated and planned more than a decade in advance. Except for her. The derision in his eyes as he looked at her was something she could never forget. Something less than an ant. Kept only as a harmless pawn. She would rather have been killed too than be looked at in such a way by the person she loved most.

The trauma from that day broke her. She stopped speaking, eating, or even doing much, staring at the walls as she wasted away in the little pretty castle he so generously placed her in. She wasn't sure how long she lived for past that day, before she could handle it no longer.

“Born from the first tears of the azure and the first rays of the morning, a creature of grand magnificence who brought colour to the world and greeted it with an aubade upon every new sunrise. With eyes that sparkled with the stars handpicked from the night, glittering scales the colour of the aether and wings with feathers as soft as the clouds and that reflected every colour an eye could see. Such a wondrous creature he was, and yet he did not know or comprehend the world he was born to, a stranger he was; for although he was benevolent in all manners and mean, he was still creature far too grand for mortals to bear.

The creature would sing with every sunrise, but all who heard it would feel the land shake, the rivers tremble and the trees bend. When the came down from its perch in the clouds to dance with small creatures, he did not hear screams of terror but instead thought they were singing, running around as if to dance. The creature was naive and so easily it were tricked.

A powerful witch who wished to have her name be seen as noble and to be venerated in tales as a hero, would face the dragon. Trick him. Easily she did, beckoning him near and tying him down with ropes of pearlesce magic. She broke the creature down and finding its wings too beautiful to destroy, tied them down with silver chains. Leaving behind nothing but its spirit, she sealed the creature within a stone, the colour of its wings remaining as the only vestige of the creature’s existence, trapped within a small stone…”


The rest of the story transitions into that of the witch, regaling her conquests. The witch dies in the end when sacrificing her life in the name of protecting all the people she’s loved. In the end however, those people all die meaninglessly anyway.

“H- huh?” The sylph looked around and found herself in a cold place, colours of all kinds—some real and beyond real—reflecting off of the stone hall. “I am sure I was… Oh my… Oh…” She looked forlornly at the floor, hugging herself. She was about to cry, after all, there was so much she could never do now and yet she did want to cry because the things she could never do, she was crying because of all the people she would disappoint, the people who would cry for her, the people who's worlds shatter because of her—the sylph's life was not her own and it wasn't for her to decide whether or not it would be so easily thrown away. She should have declined the request. She should have been more selfish. If she had more self-preservation... She just did not understand how they could do this, she wasn't the only... She could understand, she just didn't want to. Oh, what a selfish, selfish creature she was. She deserved this and yet she believed it without a doubt that all the people who cheered for her, smiled because of her and who wanted to hear her... Even if she cried for all eternity, damned to suffer ineffable pains, it would not be enough to repent for all that she has incurred. "Lofty... I was far too lofty... I am not immortal. I never imagined a world where I would..." She crouched, burying her face in her knees. Long transparent hair, shimmering with the colour reflecting off the stone halls. Her hair had grown considerably since she last cut it.

Where had she gone wrong? Was it when she left the glade? Wandering past the border of anemones, talking with the nereids and then entering the breathing air? Was it being fathered by a human? In that library of fantastical books, learning their language, seeing their smiles, singing their songs and falling in love with all things that would one day die? Was it when she left to propagate her ideals to the world? In Ryke, when she sang at that festival in winter? When she sang with that man and beast to quell the qualms of trolls? When she travelled to Aslan, when she met... Seven, Finn, Iduna, Pierre and... That was the time when she realised how fleeting life could be, how useless she truly could be. How could she even dare to smile after that? Then in the forest too, she almost killed everyone... Hypocrite. Crazy. Useless. Idiot. Monster. To compare herself to monsters, was to insult them.

She feigned harmlessness, yet she could easily end the lives of the people so adored. She was even more useless then, she couldn't even understand how they could dub her an agent. All she did was cry and watched as everything burned. She was too morose at the time to even be embarassed when they found her curled up in a ball, still crying with the one eye that she had. She didn't deserve to meet Euthalia, Islwyn, Keone or Calliope. She didn't deserve to be called an 'Idol' by her fans. Zahrah, Oden... The people at that festival with the bears, she couldn't do anything then either.

Till the moment that she died, she was a useless, selfish creature underserving of any of the world's kindness or beauty. Even now, she wished she could at least see everyone for one last time, hear their voices and see their smiles. She couldn't even weep. Shameful she was, she was in anguish for even the wind could not reach her now. She longed to hear how the leaves rustled, to see how light sparkled on the surface of water. To love all things destined to die, meant to love one's self as well, and yet she could not do that either.

“Help me…” Broke the silence that defeaned the sylph. The softest voice she had ever heard, and as if to forget all her shame and tears she would've wept and the regrets and people she wished to see, the sylph stood and gladly ran down the rough, stone path given to her.

“Help me… Help me… Help me…” “Do not worry, I can... I will!—” At the end of the hall she stopped and for the first time her feet felt sore and ripped, afterall, sylphid feared all solid ground. Twelve wings tied together—shining with a pristine light of colours she could not comprehend—belonging to a thin, worn brazen body that could not even look at her, its head dropped and seeming sore. It was speaking so sadly to her, and she could not help but begin to cry. “Help me… Please oh I beg of you, please help me—” “How can I help you, do not worry. You are fine, you are fine. I can heal you, just listen—” “Do not… Please… Lend me it…” The sylph seemed confused. She did not understand the light of colour, it was so cold and lonely and could not even move. “What is it?”

There was only one thing she could offer now. She had no body, her catalyst had been broken, she was a piece that was no longer meant to linger. All that was her should have vanished. Sylphid were not supposed to linger, they were to become air that danced forever in the wind, until even that eventually disappear. That was her destiny, if not for the stone she were wearing over her chest. The brazen body slowly, very very slowly, outstretched its hand toward the sylph. “Your... soul. Essence. It is fading... lend me it so I can live...” She didn’t even need to answer. Ophenia had made her choice as soon as she had ran here. She was nothing anymore, so the last thing she could do was at least help one person.

She lent her hand to its own weak hand and with a pull all too ravenous... she ceased from existence. Yet, in all her will to help even one person before she ceased, she knew not of the grave mistake she has made and what she has gifted the world in her departure from existence. A las, even in Ophánia's death, she made the stupidest decision of all supidities.

Ahhh~” That was so much better. He stretched his arms and lifted himself from the ground with a little trouble. “Oh.” He said, grimacing. “My wings are still chained.” He felt them dragging behind him. He looked at the golden heart with the red opal in middle, at his feet; laying in the pile of tattered, yet sparkling, diaphanous chiffons where a body should have been. “Oh, you sweet little sylph. This world did not deserve a creature so harmlessly unself as yourself.” He picked it “Yet it seems you are the one most favoured and loved by that god, you get to evanesce before it all goes away.” He broke it in his hands. The red jewels shattered and the gold crumpled. “The dream to make everyone happy. Well, everyone will be happy if I’m the only one on this wretched plane!” He laughed and threw the golden heart behind him. He looked at the sky with a smile. It was dark, stars glittering far in the distance and the moons were still placed in the sky aswell, it was exactly the same as the day he was no longer needed by this world. "Seems tonight, the stars are touched by the wind." He sang, stepping on the tattered costume and making his way about the lands.

From the air that once sang songs with such joy and beauty, only mournful cries now echoed.

Backstory: Kenzo Takamura was born and raised in a rural farming village in Japan. Spending his days as both a child and teen tending to the land with incredible proficiency. His one true love, and personal hobby though was wrestling. He wanted everything to do with it; lived for it, craved it, studied in it even. When not in school, or when he finished a day’s hard work he would watch reels of Wrestling clips over and over again on repeat, always imitating the moves he would see. After finishing high school, Kenzo would continue to work on his family’s plot of land. With more free time on his hand, he kept up the antics with his wrestling lifestyle. Sometimes getting far more outlandish with his elaborate imitations of the moves up until he caused his own death. Poor Kenzo wasn’t as careful as he should have been during a Swanton Bomb gone wrong, snapping his neck upon impact .
Current Life: Kenzo Takamura has since acclimated to the new world around him. At first, he expressed incredible shame and embarrassment for his accident that caused him a one-way ticket over here. Although when one thinks about it, what’s so bad about being a Wrestler in another world anyway? It sounds exactly like what he dreamed of, just in a different way. .

Hoshino's life was more of a living hell than a real life. From a young age, she'd separated from her parents during one fateful vacation, and was then captured and sold on the black market as a slave. Over an incalculable amount of time that felt like an eternity, she'd tasted near-death experiences, over and over again, all for the sick games of her 'owners.' Only by the time she'd grown to adulthood, did she finally escape... through the release of death.
Because of Hoshino's kind heart and lack of mental development, she was reincarnated as a young angel, to give her a second chance at a childhood. She's eager to learn, and gobbles up books on just about anything educational. Hoshino wanders around, offering healing to anyone that needs it. Most strangely of all, she offers to bear peoples' burdens of misfortune, insisting she's got so much, that a little more couldn't possibly make a difference...

Backstory: Thorok was not always a gladiator. He was not always a slave. He was part of a herd of his own, occupying the dense jungles of the Eastern Empire in peaceful harmony with nature and the healing arts.

His father was a paladin, and Thorok wanted to be just like him. He took up artistic pursuits and began writing poetry from a young age. He grew into a remarkable young man.

But such things were never meant to last.

His corner of the world was raided, his herd scattered, killed, or sold as property. He possessed a truly unique anger, and earned the attention of the master of the Grand Imperial Coliseum. He was equipped for war and sent out time and time again, earning his place amongst the greatest gladiators the arena had ever seen.

He never forgot where he came from, no matter how many times he had to kill or watch people he tried to spare be killed. The master wanted to prove a point: that no good deed went unpunished.

Thorok resisted in his own ways. He eventually became so valued by the master that he was allowed to go forth and earn winnings from missions by exploiting the trust of the Adventurer's Guild. He was even entitled to a portion of the gold, though he never saw the coin in any form beyond promises and ink on paper.
Current Life: Thus, Thorok continues his meager existence despite his titanic size. He remembers his past, his love of books and art. He wishes desperately to one day be free. He wishes to find his herd and take them somewhere far away.

That remains a dream... and it is slipping further away each time he dares to close his eyes.
