Yeah sorry Nico I'm not even going to pretend like I can be useful with that

Lmao those games always suck

That game made up a whole new character that never appeared in the books. A son of Hermes that wasn't the Stoll brothers or Luke.

I'm actually thinking I might prefer a game like that with non-canon characters tbh.

Looked at the back thinking maybe there was a small chance I'd want it.

Saw the graphics.

Put it back.

Right as my dad came up beside me and asked if there was anything I was interested in. I said nooo

Well, if you ask me...

Just the fact that people are talking about their characters being "evil" kind of goes to show how black-and-white the PJO series really is, from what I've read.

So there.

Simple plot for simple characterization.

It's fitting.

/claps

bravo Pine Cone~

but then again im pretty sure originally the series was supposed to be like...for like younger kids....i dunno thats what i thought

Well. just gonna insert myself in the conversation here

If it was made for little kids why are all the characters like 17+ year old

I'm sure it was meant for kids.

I think my sixth grade year, Rick Riordan came to our school.

It was some seminar thing to basically advertise himself as an author or something.

I believe what he said was that the books came from stories he would tell his kids, then they convinced him to make them into books.

Also, throughout elementary school we had this thing that was called the "bluebonnet reading list" which were like recommended books to read...?

I don't know under what criteria they put books under that list though.

Remember that Percy started out being twelve.

They've aged.

I mean like in the beginning wasn't he 12 or 13?

i didn't mean little kids...like almost teenagers xD

And because when you're a little kid, you fantasize about being a bigger kid, even more than you do about being a grown-up.

YEAH! Cause I saw my friend reading the first book when I was in fourth grade, and I got it soon after her
