Elizabeth nods a bit. "Ah I see... That's good to hear... I uh don't know what Nectar is since again... I haven't been here long and I'm still rather confused and lost about all this... And I have no idea to be honest... guess we'll have to wait to find out." She said softly while pulling her jacket closer.

Olivia nearly jumped out of her skin when she was addressed so loudly that she tried to shrink herself away before the owner of the voice quieted down a bit making her stop from shrinking away and glance up a bit from under her hood; bags circled her naturally dark eyes along with a bit of eyeliner as she looked at him from behind her bangs. "...I'm Olivia Thomas..." She said and gave a bit of a yawn as she covered her mouth with her small hand.

Carter waited expectantly for Chiron to announce who was going on the quest, petting a vine plant that had wrapped around his fingers gently.


He had missed most of what had happened with the monster battle, seeing as he had been caring for the plants in the Big House the entire time and heard nothing, but he had gotten the more juicy and important tidbits of information to fill him in.


"Hey, I'm Carter." Carter greeted the guy standing next to him with his hand that was not wrapped in a vine.

Carter waited expectantly for Chiron to announce who was going on the quest, petting a vine plant that had wrapped around his fingers gently.
He had missed most of what had happened with the monster battle, seeing as he had been caring for the plants in the Big House the entire time and heard nothing, but he had gotten the more juicy and important tidbits of information to fill him in.

Damian blinks and looks at him before smiling kindly with pearly white teeth. "Hey, I'm Damian, i'm new if you couldn't tell." he said and shook his hand while looking at him. "Nice to meet you, also nice plant." he said while looking at it.

Sebastian looked around he had been wondering, now worrying about Adrien for a while now and that was especially odd for him since he typically didn't ace for many outside him and his....no not going to think about that now. Nevertheless Sebastian still worried for the girl having not seen her since before the Cynocephalus attack he was afraid that she had been hurt or even worse, killed. For once an emotion registered and his eyes were full of worry as he looked again for her. "If anything happened to that girl I swear I'll....." Sebastian left it there still worried but also curious as to why he cared for this girl so much.....

"Same. So I probably wouldn't have known you were new if you hadn't had said something." Carter grinned in response. "Yeah, I quite like this little guy, but he's not mine. He's one of the plants growing alongside the Big House. He just decided to pop in and say hi."

Adrien sat boredly, a good distance away, watching as Addison inspected the entrance to the Labyrinth with an interest than only she could have. "Are you done yet?" No response. "Addiiieee." Adrien groaned leaping off of Zeus' Fist. Addison ignored her friends approaching footsteps, not letting herself be distracted. "Addison Leigh-Anne Marie Collins." Addie cringed at the sound of her full name, sighing she stood up facing her friend. "What Adrien?" So much for staying focused on the task at hand. "Can we go? Why can't you just leave the whole nerdy inspecting every nook and cranny for answers to the Athena kids. I mean, most of them are either Walking Dictionaries, Thesauruses, Encyclopedias, or Factual Books." Addison glared at her friend in irritation knowing without a doubt that she wouldn't understand.

Damian chuckles softly as he takes his hand back. "Yeah well i just arrived when the camp was attacked by these wolf men, one nearly took my head off had my friend not saved my arse... Also he's quite the cute little guy. I hope he gets enough light." he said and smiled while swirling his fingers a bit as light shines around them.

Chiron stood and started looking at the campers with a stern look on his face. "The chosen campers are Kit, Jason, Tania, Helena, Damian, Addison, and Celestia. Thomas will go along since if he doesn't I'll get a headache. He doesn't stop asking when he finds things out." Chiron then started to look at the campers and gave a reassuring smile. He wanted the newer campers to feel like going on such a big first quest wasn't so bad. "Go get your stuff while me and a few other campers grab the food and supplies."

Jason turned on Max, "What nonsense are you spewing now? What do you mean by me causing you trouble? So you're Zeus' kid....I really need to get used to this greek-is-real thing." He turned as he heard Chiron say his name, "Wait what!? I'm on this quest...how?" Jason began to worry, he had barely managed this fight, how would he manage a quest, yes there were six other people....but really?


Sebastian shrugged as he heard the list of kids on the quest, he wasn't one of them which means he no longer had any interest. His mind was now free to linger on the thought of Adrien, "Where are you." He thought summoning a spirit to assist him, it was much easier for him than a hades child since he had a direct link to death itself. "Take me to her." He commanded, praying it didn't lead her to the infirmary or some random patch of bloody ground.....that would suck, to put it lightly. He walked out of the Big House following it into the woods, about seven minutes later it faded unable to sustain itself on simply shadows. This left Sebastian to continue walking through the woods stopping as he found himself in a clearing.


Valencia was quite context with not being on the quest, though sorry she couldn't help the seven demigods she was glad she could stay with the camp and help defend it for when they returned. "I promise I'll keep everyone safe for when you return?! No horde of monsters is gonna take us down." Valencia smiled then turned on her heels and walked out wanting to see if Tiko was back yet, she went to the amphitheater, where she'd get to play her gift....IF her tiger was able to retrieve it from where she left it. She hummed happy to have the chance to play violin again.

Addison froze a the sound of footsteps approaching, but Adrien seemed the least bit worried. "So we can go now?" "Di Immortales Adrien! Yes, we can leave." Addie growled picking up her stuff and storming out of the forest. But she stopped a little ways ahead when she saw Sebastian walking in their direction. Adrien smiled at Sebastian in acknowledgement, giving him a short wave. "Hello there." (@Kai&\#039;zen Makaira )

"Do I need to list the problems?!" Max said "The Dean, Mr. Larlham, yeah he was a Cyclops, Mrs. Heil the librarian, she was a Dracaena. And that really hot Math teacher, she was a Siren." Max crossed his arms. "They all suspected you were a demigod and I had to "remove" them, to keep you safe" He said as he started moving Jason towards the door. "Regardless you have a quest to prepare for. I'll help you pack!"

"I'll never hear the end of this!" Owen said as he heard Kit's name among the list of Questees. "I can hear him now. Ha I told you I was destined to become a great hero of the gods!" Owen mimicked his stepbrothers voice "At least I won't have to deal with his constant story telling a." He leaned back against the wall, secretly hoping for Kit to come back unharmed.

"Sorry for scaring you, I'm not really good at talking to people normally." Kit said kindly "I grew up hearing of great heroes in my family, and I just started talking like that." That's when Kit heard his name being called for the quest. "Well then" he said getting ready to head to his Cabin when he stopped. "When I get back, I wanna talk more." Kit started out the door to the big house, with an unfamiliar feeling inside him. "Yeah... Talk... Kit what's wrong with you" Kit mumbled to himself as he started towards his cabin, wondering what was making him feel this way.

Helena stared at Chiron, then sighed when her name was called, her eyes closed. She'd just barely gotten back to camp, and already doom looked over their heads like a thunderhead. And when Niwa was called, it only made her gut twist more. Niwa, of all others to pick, NIWA? What good would he do?! ... Not that he wasn't obviously capable of taking care of himself- yes, of coooourse he could defend himself, but- but... OVERPROTECTIVE BIG SISTER PROBLEMS! ARGH!


"...Come on, Niwa. We... We need to go pack.." She said to her younger brother, then turned and headed out of the Big House, and stood there looking down the hill, trying to get her thoughts straight.

Elizabeth smiles a bit before her smile quickly vanishes. "I'm sure he'll be fine so long as he keeps his head on his shoulders properly." She said while blowing at her bangs. "Besides we have our own quest... To keep the camp safe so they have a place to return too." She said while looking at him.

Olivia blinked a couple of time before turning her head to watch him mutter to himself. "...alright." She said softly before hiding in the back of the big house shadows once more since talking to someone like him was draining.

Jason looked at Max more than surprised, "Wait you mean all those people were trying to kill us...see and my mom didn't believe me. Anyways thanks for the help but why not just tell me? I would rather have learned from you than three harpies, did I mention they put me in a hospital for a month." Jason stumbled along as Max yanked on his arm barely avoiding falling flat on his face. He matched Max's pace and jogged towards his cabin. "How much can I bring? Not more than say a book bag right?"


Sebastian stopped when he heard Adrien, he looked up from the ground and saw her wave a smile instantly forming on his face. "Glad to see you're alright." He said as he walked over. He nodded to Addison as passed her not sure what to make of her, he wasn't expecting much from her often because kids his age typically avoided him. Adrien had so far been one of two exceptions and he remembered what his mother had said about counting his blessing instead of his curses.

[Noah]

Noah stirred in his sleep. Chiron had tasked him to find a clue to the location of the adamantine sickle. Through the busy streets of Greece, Noah's consciousness drifted invisibly. He was looking for any sort of clue or direction. Sometimes he even delved into people's minds. Noah was getting worn out. He could feel the extensive astral projection causing his body to be sore. Noah grimaced as he floated around some more, but he saw a few wolf men. Like the ones that attacked from earlier. Following to investigate, Noah found them roaming around on the island of Delos. Perhaps they were looking for clues there too. Noah quickly woke up, covered in a sweat and muscles sore. Noah got up from bed and ran to the Big House. Noah ran up to Chiron as other campers began to leave in preparation for the quest.


"Chiron!," Noah exclaimed panting. "I think I found where the clue to the sickle is. A bunch of monsters are roaming around on the Island of Delos. The chosen seven should look there." Noah collapsed on his knees in exhaustion. He also rubbed his temples as a throbbing headache struck. "Ugh...."

"Iris?" Carter asked not missing a beat. He may have only been here a couple of days and still got some Gods and Goddess mixed up, but he had studied enough on Greek Mythology to know who the Goddess of light was. Unless his godly parent was Apollo? Carter released the little plant and watched as it slithered through a window and back outside.

Addison nodded back at Sebastian uneasily. She didn't really see the guy as a bad person -at least she didn't sense that he was-, but his eyes unnerved her dearly, and so she typically avoided speaking to the guy. But she decided to be a little less socially impaired and greeted him with a barely audible "Hey."


"Well I didn't really get to partake much in the fighting, which is such a shame. I've been itching for a good fight or spar recently." Adrien replied walking over to Sebastian with a grin.

Damian blinks his rainbow coloured eyes for a moment before they go brown again. "I believe so, but I'm not sure myself seeing as she hasn't said anything or claimed me." He said while blowing at his bangs and smiling a bit. "But I don't mind waiting."

"Pfft yeah right." Max said as they stepped into the Poseidon cabin "I alway make sure I have extra anything when I go anywhere." Max pulled his backpack of his back that he'd brought with him and opened it up. "Here." He said as he pulled another pack out of his. "It's magic, it's enchanted, it pretty much has no bottom, but you can't put really big things in it." Max pulled out a thermos and a few baggies of food. "Ambrosia and Nectar, the food of the gods. Don't eat a lot of this. It has healing properties, but it could kill you if you have to much." He handed the bag to Jason "clothes take up actual space in here, so be very organized as to how many you put in here." Max smiled at his friend. "Shame that when we finally meet here, you have to go out on a quest." He sighed "I wish you good luck."

"Yeah I know." He said as he watched Kit exit the Big House. "I should go help him pack. He's not very organized." And with that he got up. "I'll talk to you later." He said walking out of the Big House. He watched as Kit walked into his cabin and hurried after him. Reaching the cabin rather quickly. He knocked on the door and Kit answered quickly.

Kit was surprised when he found Owen standing outside the door. "What's needed?" He asked his stepbrother. "Come to help me pack?" Owen smiled at his brother and nodded. Kit smiled and turned back towards his bag, and the brothers began packing.

Elizabeth nods and watches him leave before going off to find Olivia since she knows Damian is busy talking to some boy who was holding a plant, son of Demeter maybe? She thought to herself while walking over to the shadowed girl. "Hey Oli." She said causing the dark haired girl to look up.


Olivia was currently relaxing and resting against a wall when Elizabeth came over. "Hey Eli... So you and bug boy look cozy..." She said while grinning a bit. Elizabeth huffed and glared a bit. "Oh shut up you..." She said and cuffed the girl lightly, leaving frost in her hair.

Sebastian smiled at Adrien a bit of warmth kicking it's way through his frosty shell, "I've already sparred but I guess I could go another round." He stopped as she approached looking at the bridge of her nose to give the illusion that he was meeting her gaze without seeing her soul... "Figured you should know now, you weren't on the quester list. Neither was I, which I'm not surprised by."


Jason looked at Max oddly, "....So what exactly is the use of a bag that is and yet isn't bottomless...seriously isn't that an oxymoron." He held up the bag looking inside, "Do you mean it can hold anything small enough to fit through the opening, but nothing larger? Or what??"

The Big House → Hermes Cabin

As soon as Chiron finished his announcement, the Big House instantly became bustling with life and urgency. For a few moments she simply watched it all, intrigued by the commotion and in awe of the chosen campers. She recognized one of them from her own cabin, Kit. She didn't know very much about him other than that he was known for his, well, incredibly cool sword. She decided that if she were to do anything, she would help her brother. He was quite a renowned Hermes kid, and Skylar wasn't the least bit surprised when Chiron announced that he was chosen. As he left the Big House, Skylar assumed that he was heading off to prepare for the quest. On instinct, she pursued the sandy-haired boy towards the Hermes cabin.


Another peculiar boy with black hair had accompanied him as well. It wasn't quite that Skylar thought she could genuinely help her brother, but there was something that she wanted to give him to possibly assist on the quest . . . or more like something that she wanted to get rid of. If she wasn't going to make use of it, then perhaps one of Hermes's more favored sons would find an advantage in the magic item. As she entered the Hermes cabin, she gave her brother and his companion a timid wave before heading toward her own bunk. Her gray cap still lay crumpled on the wrinkled blankets. Tentatively, she lifted it and examined it closely. She was about to try it once more, but instead determinedly walked up to Kit and held out the cap with her thumb and forefinger. "Here's something that might help on your quest," she told her brother enthusiastically. "I hope you don't lose it. Sometimes it doesn't work that well . . . for me at least . . . but I don't think it likes me very much. If you really need it though, it'll grow wings," she added on a positive note.

Celestia

The Big House → Forest

Kit, Jason, Tania, Helena, Niwa, Addison, and Isara. Celestia knew not half of those foreign names. Well, good for them, she thought bitterly, even though she knew it wasn't fair to think like that. It wasn't like she had someone to blame. She had always been looking forward to participating in a quest, but it wasn't as though she would ever have a chance, being what? The daughter of Khione. She hated reminding herself of her identity, but it wasn't something that she could deny at this moment. She blew a strand of light fuchsia hair from where it had been dangling in front of her face. Her hair was quite a mess right now after the monster attack, but she wasn't in the mood for brushing it. Instead, she stubbornly left the Big House. What was she doing right now? Was she having a fit? Being immature?


As she walked, the grass in her path frosted over. She was heading towards the forest, subconsciously leaving behind a trail of frost at the same time. She didn't even care that she wasn't on the quest. Inside, she knew that she herself was the problem. She hardly even participated in the battle between the demigods and the monsters this morning. What she would have to do is build herself up. She was downright lazy. She would make herself stronger. She had good instincts, but what good were they without practice? Her mind flashed back to the previous day at camp. A few sons of Ares had made fun of her, calling her "useless" and "worthless" and "meaningless" for being a daughter of a minor goddess who couldn't even stand a chance against an Aphrodite demigod. "In a few weeks' time, they won't call me useless anymore," she decided willfully as she sat down on the forest floor a few yards away from the edge, her back against a large maple tree. This was where she would refine and polish her powers. They weren't much as they were . . . but with training, perhaps she could make them somewhat valuable.

Elizabeth senses a change in the air which wasn't from her own doing and decided to leave Olivia to explore on her own or maybe with Damian depending on where the kind and honey voiced boy was. She made her way towards the forest, noticing the change was much more noticeable here as she walked deeper into the forest until she came upon an icy trail, Elizabeth raised her brow as she followed along the trail to find its source.

Olivia didn't quite want to mingle with anyone else so she made her way out of the Big House and decided to wander but stuck close to the shadows since they comforted her and seemed quite fitting for her since she was a child of Hypno and that required night and darkness for the target to be sleeping right? Anyways she knew that most would underestimate her because of her father but in reality if she was in a bad mood they would be out cold and have nightmares for weeks until she calmed.

Jethro peered out from behind the trees, his eyes scanning the spaces between the trees, loo searching for something. He seemed to hesitate for a few moments before slowly moving forward, his footsteps noise less on the grass as he ghosted forward. However, his stealth did not seem to help him this time as a voice bellowed,


"YAAAAR I FOUND HIM"


Jethro's gaze swung about to face the the cyclopes he had been on the run from for the last week. There were three of them and quite frankly Jethro could not decide which of them was the ugliest. Two of them carried clubs while the third carried a large spear. One lumbered towards him, closing the distance between them in ten large steps, it ended the last step by bringing the club down to crush Jethro. To Jethro the creature was moving in slow motion and a simple large jump backwards was all it took for him to avoid the blow. His gaze shifted to look the creature in the eyes.


"Excuse me sir, I believe you missed." Jethro replied matter of factly.


The Cyclops growled angrily and lifted its club to swing again but Jethro did not give it the chance. Stepping forward, Jethro plunged a sword, that had not been in his hand a few seconds previously, through the creatures abdomen. The Cyclops groaned and broke into dust.


The other two creatures stared at Jethro with pure hatred, they gripped their weapons harder and started towards Jethro with malice intent. Jethro spun the sword in his own hand and readied himself for the next attack. When it finally came it was savage, the Cyclopes seemed very determined to kill him. They beat about the ground trying to land a hit on him but he always managed to weave his way out of danger. The point finally came when he found himself standing beneath one of the cyclopes. This was when he acted, jumping up he brought his sword up in an arc and sliced the Cyclops in half. He used his foot to push off the creatures body before it broke into dust. He found himself catapulted through the air, the other Cyclops now stood under him, spear on a path to pierce him through the chest. If he did not act now, he'd be skewered.


He shrugged the shield on his back to his left arm, and rotated himself in midair. The spear crashed into the shield at an angle, sliding past it. Jethro found himself sliding down the shaft of the spear with his shield. That was when he ended the fight, bringing out the same sword from earlier he slashed through the Cyclops neck as he passed. The creature exploded into dust.


Jethro landed heavily on the ground, grunting as he did so. He laid there for several long moments before climbing to his feet. He inspected his shield, tracing the long scars that covered the metal with his fingers. He sighed loudly and continued walking, replacing the shield on his back as he walked.

 

[Athens]

"Well hope you don't have to wait long my friend, because the Hermes kids are dangerous after the first 2 nights." Carter replied with a Cheshire Cat Grin. He had been with the Hermes kids for 5 days and knew exactly what they were cable of when they got comfortable with you.

Adrien smiled shaking her head, dismissing Sebastian's offer. "Don't wear yourself out over me. Adrien raised an eyebrow at Sebastian's comment, wondering why he automatically assumed that he wouldn't be picked for the quest. "Shame, I guess I'll just continuing using my amazing fighting skills for the climbing wall and capture the flag." Adrien joked pretending to look upset as she let out a dramatic sigh. 'Well I better go tell my awkward friend over there about the campers for the quest already being chosen so she'll stop stressing over the possibility of being picked." Adrien commented gesturing to Addison who looked around the woods uncomfortably as the sun began to get lower in the sky.

"Me?" Carter asked as if he didn't expect to be asked such a question. "I'm just a green Demeter kid. You know, the woman who goes crazy over cereal, that one." Carter smiled as if that was some private joke.
