Tefora's voice sounded in his head as she pulled closer. "Someone's close."ChronosCoded said:Josh walked along the forest trees when some people came up to him. Naturally, they asked him if he'd seen any fairies in the are. Josh told them to piss off. This made them mad and he was help down and beaten. It didn't matter to him though. In a few seconds he'd disarm the guy who was beating him and beat up his friends.
Josh handled the beating pretty well, he was just waiting for the perfect time to strike...and...Now! Josh jumped up and kicked one of the guys in the face. The rest he just beat up. Man, they really didn't have a good trainer. They barely even put up a fight.
Josh fled deeper into the forest. He was going to talk to the fairies. That was the thing about earth magic, it came in handy when trying to talk to scared creatures. "Hey. Guys. I know you're here. It's me. Josh. Come out. Please." No response. Josh sighed and went deeper into the forest. Maybe he would go visit his dragon friends? They were easier to talk to.
Soon, he got really deep into the forest and saw a few people there. Strange, they didn't look like nature-haters. He walked up to them, he was about nine feet away. "Hey, who are you? I haven't seen you around these parts before. Are you one of them?" He strained his voice on the last word.
(What exactly are the followers of the Red Queen called?)

"Tefora." She turned back into her normal form and floated around Rey's bodyChronosCoded said:Josh was calm the entire way through. He'd come to expect people being protective of the woods. He laughed. "No, I'm not. I can assure you of that. I'm friends with the fairies...and the dragons." He smirked. "I understand you being protective. I've come here since I was little too. I actually just took out some of those guys. They were headed your way, which might be bad for you and the fairies." He looked back suspiciously and unsheathed his sword. "Precautionary measures." He said simply. "So what're you two doing out here?" He asked curiously.

Rey sighed as the guy fainted, but clearly impressed by the spell he just cast. A big force. They couldn't leave either, or the men would hunt down and kill the fairies. "Hello men," Rey said politely when they got out of the pitChronosCoded said:Josh laughed. "It's so cute. Hi Tefora." He turned back to the man. "Nice to meet you Rey. Yea, I heard about that too. I can assure you though, they don't have Fairy Fever." Josh looked around the forest some more. "I don't know why the fairies won't answer to me. I've known them since I was a boy. I practically live with them. Well, I live in the mountains with the dragons, but I visit when I can." He said.
Just then a man came through the woods. It was the man who beat him. "Uh, did I mention I dislike killing?" About thirty more people came through. "Okay that's just not fair." Josh had a thought. He could try something, but it would take lots of energy out of him. It was worth the risk though. "Dude, I know we just met, but catch me if I faint." He concentrated on the ground below them as the first man spoke about surrendering. He could feel his legs start to buckle. His forehead started to sweat. This wasn't going to work. It was stupid of him to try. It was too advanced for his level. Wait... He saw something. He saw a crack. Not a huge one, but a growing one. He concentrated a bit more, the crack got longer and wider until eventually the crack became big enough that they fell about halfway into the ground, and then the ground closed. It wasn't enough to get rid of them, they would likely dig themselves out. That didn't matter now, all that stress on his mind and body was horrible. So horrible, in fact, that he fainted. The best he could do was move his body in the mans direction. "Take me to the mountains." His eyes closed.
JokerValentine said:It had already been a long day's hike, but already the headaches were abundant. Fayar, a rather well-conditioned but poorly-performing refugee, found himself making quite a distance away from his original locale. Yet, he felt no closer to his home than he did now. Alas, with the world around him becoming filled with such envious beauty, a strong wind began to blow. By the Gods, how the weather changes so unpredictably. Yet, as the former.......... man once noticed, the wind had come not from divinity, but by the mystical Nymphs. This forest, as many knew, was filled with such creatures. Most of them, unlike him, called this place home. The human, seeing that the Nymph had created the wind, opened his visage upon the scene. Clearly there was conflict afoot, and it smelt of bitterness. At once, however, he recognized some of the people.
They were the ones he had fled.
"It's because you 2 stand to defend this forest," Lady Cyan said happily. "As you know, we're not really strong enough to fight for long, so we aid the ones who fight for us." It was a consensus among the fairies to save them from being slaughtered by the men. Most fairies weren't strong in offensive magic or in physical strength but were powerhouses in defensive and support magic.ChronosCoded said:Josh came out of it quicker than he expected. He assumed he'd be down for atleast half an hour. Something must've woken him up. It seemed unlikely seeing how exhausted he'd been, but now he felt much better. Powerful magic was amongst them. And he had a pretty good idea who, and what, it was. He jumped up filled with energy. "Wooooo! Did ya miss me?" He looked down at the fairy. He couldn't tell who it was just yet so he got a closer look. "Cyan! I knew it was you! I could tell! What've you been up to? Why won't the fairies talk to me?" He asked somewhat excitedly, yet concerned.

JokerValentine said:As Fayar found himself, not on a side allegiance-wise, but physically, the men he once called his own attacked him. Of course, knowing nobody, he decided to speak in a rather low voice. "Odd man rush 5 over 3's. Hit them on the left side NOW!" he shouted out, hoping his confidence was not an overreach. The man, drawing his sword, met an attacker, and parried the axe blow. Pushing to his right, he stabbed the assailant through the lung, puncturing it with his own axe. He fell to the ground, but not quietly. The man bellowed out. Oh how is stung to the ears, both emotionally and physically.
[QUOTE="Zy That Guy]ChronosCoded said:"Yes I'd love to know the plan as well." He should probably get in contact with his dragon friends, if he didn't return soon they'd ravage the place looking for him. He also needed his supplies. He wasn't goon to just depend on his magic and abilities. "I'm going to need contact with the dragons. Can you try and do that for me?" He asked.
"Holy fuck!" Rey drew Krolora and looked at the shark. He was distracted again by the men bashing against the barrierCartreck said:Krieves jumped from branch to branch. Hearing the sounds of chatter, getting closer and closer. When he reached the next branch he sat downing. Seeing a Little figure float over to what seemed to be a black bush. "Well, that's misplaced isn't it?" He said softly. As he watched from behind the one human, he saw a fairy looking at another human. "Well, this is most interesting isn't it? Oh Selen. How I wish you could see this." He positioned himself so he was crouching and grabbed his bow, seeing the Ravens. "It's been a while since we fought together." He set an arrow and aimed for one of the men. "Can you guys, ya know. Attack or something? I don't like killing people for no reason!"
But death was still death after all. The rapture of life was immutable in its definition. Even worse, alas, the fairy was wrong. These, at least some of them, were not huntsmen, were not everyday men, they bore the crest upon their sleeves. This was a crest the guest recognized, and thnkfully not vice versa. "they're younger than rookies. They're trainees. You can 'take care' of them, but we all know that when kids go missing, they turn up eventually. And with kids missing, the Queen will not hesitate to have backlash. Whatever being you may be, be one of mercy, and perhaps reflect upon sparing some, if not, all of them." It was easy to know that some of the men, more experienced, were older and much more stocky. However, some of the groups were younger, and thus was a dilemma.Kylesar1 said:"Holy fuck!" Rey drew Krolora and looked at the shark. He was distracted again by the men bashing against the barrier
Lady Cyan unleashed a burst of wind inbetween both him and the guy he stabbed. The burst blew the man into the barrier and the guy he stabbed back hard, but healed him.
"All of you hush and listen." Lady Cyan had a sense of urgency about her as the barrier started to weaken and small cracks started to form. "We'll contact the dragons after this. We can't kill anyone here. Absolutely not. Death taints our residents. Here's what's gonna happen: Take them to the middle of the forest. The toads and leprechauns have been wanting a massive heist, so they set up a huge Fairy Ring. If you can get them all there, the ring will take care of all of them at once." Death in the forest would turn a fairy dark, plus it'd get the Red Queen on their tails. If they were to all disappear, it'd be written off as a fatal misstep, the Queen not caring for rookie mistakes.
"Sounds good. We all haul ass to the middle of the forest."
ChronosCoded said:"Okay then! Here we go!" Josh ran up to the barrier and hit it a few times, he could see large cracks starting to form. "Follow me, dunces!" He started running as fast as he could. He did not want to try and make a crevice in the earth again. No way. He looked behind him, he couldn't tell if the barrier had broken. He kept running. Soon, he started to see light. Good sign, he was almost to the middle.
Soon he made it to the middle, but he couldn't find the fairy ring. Oh well, he would just wait for everyone to catch up and help find it.
"I refuse to taint this forest because you think you know more about us and our methods than we do," Lady Cyan said coldly. Fairies lived for trapping and capturing.JokerValentine said:But death was still death after all. The rapture of life was immutable in its definition. Even worse, alas, the fairy was wrong. Lady Cyan grabbed Josh's hand and, with a burst of wind magic, threw him off to the side. "They said stay out of the middle, you idiot!"ChronosCoded said:"Jeez! Stop having me run back and forth!" He ran back to the middle when he was handed a potion by a fairy, he didn't hesitate to drink it. He looked down, he was invisible. Nice. Finally, he saw the shield break and he saw the people who were trapped, heading toward them. Wonderful. Here it comes. They all stepped into the middle. He couldn't see what happened to them, he just knew they were dead. "Are we good now?" He asked Rey, knowing he was around somewhere
"I can't tell you," Cyan said, shaking her head. "They're not dead though. They just won't be bothering anyone anytime soon, and they definitely won't come back to this forest." The Fairy Ring is infamous for a reason. No one outside of the Fairies, Toads, Leprechauns, and Pixies could ever know what exactly happens, and most didn't know what happenedChronosCoded said:"Where'd they go Cyan. Seriously. I need to know." He asked, concerned. He may have hated these guys, but not enough to send them into oblivion. He wondered what the rest of the group were doing. He really disliked the elf so far. He treated him like he was a teenager. Well, he supposed it was alright. He looked much younger than he actually was. He looked back at Cyan, still wanting to know what happened to the hunters.
