FloofWhispers , so for the skills just distribute 12 points all in all instead of the twenty four points.

Then for abilities, please click the spoiler and pick one background among the six there, and pick 1 background ability under it, and then take note of the starting stats.

After this go to to the gear tab next to the character tab within Secret Files and fill out the Toughness, Manna, etc. And then choose your starting armor and weapon, and then roll for your four random starting items, alchemical, and metal.

For your character's first spells you can go to the spells tab and pick a number of spells there according to your character's knowledge level and chosen background.

Okay, so click the spoiler under abilities. You will see 6 bckgrounds: battle hardened, silent and deadly, and the rest.

Click their spoilers and see which one you like. Whichever background you choose will be permanent for your character.
