Dice Café

If nothing super important happens when he goes to the other side and checks the Titan chamber, I'm going to add a scene to the end of my post where he tries to start a message conversation with Lysanthir no more than an hour and a half after he departs. Zer0 Zer0
Titan chamber?

Also, everyone, I am planning to end Vault Hunters soon, like in 2 months, hopefully less? Because I want to free up my time to be able to rp other things. I'm thinking to like just time skip to the very start of Moss' arc and at try at the same time try to do Charon's arc? And then do a lot of skips in between to get to main scenes. So anything you guys have envisioned and weren't able to do, please give me a list that can be completed in 2 months while a main arc is going on --- splitting the party is okay ---and yeah, we'll try to do everything. Katsuya Katsuya Sisyphus Happy Sisyphus Happy

Alright. I'll try to speed through it. We can get right into Charon's arc because he planned on repaying his debt to Isa as well, he will be there playing it out right alongside Moss. It's a bit of a ritual of mine that, before I retire a character, I fix an external issue, an internal issue, then contribute to the world to make it better. The first part I sort of shooed in for learning the magic system, the second part we're about to start and finish up, and the third part is no matter.

Thank you for telling me you want to stop because RP is one of the few areas in which I impose, as I'm sure you noticed. I would have kept right on going until this site burned down LOL. I'll save my other character for something else.

Never mind the titan chamber bit, he's just going to message Lysanthir before he sleeps.

Okay, your level of imposing isn't really imposing. I mean, you ask permission and stuff.

I tacked the third one on after I played in a Westmarches server as a winged tiefling eldritch fighter ex-cop. My character rescued a kid from being cooked up by gnolls and had a crap ton of money he wasn't using so I asked the DM if I could send the kid's family money to send him to school which, in a society without public schooling, is somewhat expensive. It felt so strange. It was just a 'rescue a fam from being ate' mission, and the DM had to make up the kid's name on the spot, but I sorta forced him to pay more attention to the character. He was delighted but taken off-guard. It made me feel way closer to the character I was playing.

Is this bragging? It feels like bragging. I'm not trying to brag. Heck, I'll post it anyway.

I finished adding that scene.

Nah, not bragging. It feels nice your character did that for the kid.

Yeah, Zer0 Zer0 ’s right. Ya don’t impose. XD

Also I love that Lysanthir is very much done with Charon’s self deprecating and Charon’s light response back~

It’s not bragging when we enjoy this little tidbit about ya~

Okay.
Knowledge 6: The Emerald Crown
While in use, a burning wreathe of green fire encircles your head. Within one area of you and within the casting area, an inconsequential layer of plant growth sprouts suddenly and inexplicably from any viable surfaces, which will remain in place for the duration, and continue to live afterward if the climate of the area allows. For the duration, you may know the location any walking creatures within the area covered by plants and may distinguish the number, but not size or any further detail. While this spell is active, you may perform one of the following actions:
For the duration, you may spend additional manna to take one of the following actions on your turn:

The Castle Walls: You may cause a wall of mighty oak trees to burst from the ground at a location within the casting area which require two rounds to grow to full height. On round one, make a knowledge roll against the toughness of all foes within the area, if successful enemies are afflicted with slow by the difficult terrain. While slowed, they can only travel up to 1 area at a time. And have only one action, either Minor or Major, but not both. On round 2, they are 1 area tall and prevent entry and exit from the area, except for a Survival roll vs Charon's Spell Power. The wall has an Hp = Knowledge with a Toughness = 14. When Hp = 0 the wall becomes passable. If damaged with fire, every -2 Hp causes an explosion, dealing 1 damage to all creatures within the area.
Resist (Slow and Explosion): Survival
Mp cost: 2
Can the trees be parted by Charon's will allowing others to pass through it? And can the trees also be undone by him through his will? Because if yes, then ima make this a concentration spell.

The Castle Moat: You may cause a thick layer of thorned ivy to grow along any solid surface. Make a knowledge roll against the toughness of all foes in an area. If successful enemies are afflicted with Don't Move and Bleed.
Resist: Survival
Mp cost: 1
Duration (concentration): No. of minutes = knowledge
You can have any number of effects active at the same time.
Target: 1 Area
Casting Range: 1 Area

Level requirement: 4?

Just reposting this for my convenience.

I can barely think creatively right now. I'll try to center myself and then post later, but the spell isn't going to get any treatment today. I have an idea though. A really cool idea. I'm going to put notes down here for later use.

Knowledge 6: The Emerald Crown
While in use, a burning wreathe of green fire encircles your skin becomes light brown bark. Within one area of you, an inconsequential layer of plant growth sprouts suddenly and inexplicably from any viable surfaces, which will remain in place for the duration, and continue to live afterward if the climate of the area allows. For the duration, you may know the location any walking creatures within the area covered by plants and may distinguish the number, but not size or any further detail. While this spell is active, you may perform one of the following actions:

(basically an even better version of the transformation magic he took at L2)

- More toughness than the beasts.
- Dont Move & Bleed to a small number of visible targets.
- Wall of trees.
- Thorn whips?
- Bonus hit point?
- Limited duration? 3 Hours?
- Basic plant rejuvenation, permanently?
- Some kind of defensive buff aoe? Small area.
- Move across any natural, unworked surfaces.
- Manipulate plant growth of large plants permanently i.e. cause specific types of plants (vines, trees, etc) to grow in a specific shape and remain there afterward.
- Buffs the properties of regular plants in small area.

Kay, no probs, I'm feeling under the weather myself.

What kind of power would you need to create a spell to awaken a creature to manna? Like, a ritual which might bestow, like a small piece of 1 character level. Like, one manna max, one spell, and the potential to become more powerful? I'm just curious. That doesn't sound like a level 2 spell, LOL.

Other question, what is the caravan like?

I’m currently thinking of how it looks like and searching the closest it’ll look like.

Okay~

So the inside is spacious due to the same magic as the tents; the four bedrooms have more room and on the second floor and each one has a bathroom, while the kitchen and living room is at the first floor. It’s filled with what they need to be comfortable. There’s a separate caravan that specifically for creating stuff (thanks to Manuel’s workshop desk). The third floor is where the garden is, there’s an orange tree and a small bed of herbs. On the entrance door is a stain glass window that shows the night sky with the Southern lights and the ocean’s surface.

The bedrooms have silent spell on them, so no one can hear them. The living room has bookshelves filled to the brim with books; books with innocent-looking covers like romances and drama. It also has a fireplace, a small coffee table, and a sofa and loveseat. The kitchen is transformational, so Moss can open it and have an outdoors kitchen for whenever he sells his cooking. The walls are painted in soft blues and teals. The furniture are wooden and beautifully carved. The bedrooms have storage space for clothes and weapons, etc.

Ohhh, that I won't allow, like have another creature with its own turn?
