Well for backgrounds you just use the BG tag;

[bG=#FFFFFF] change FFFFFF to whatever hex colour you want [/bG]

Tabs is also relatively simple to do;

[Tab=Title of tab here 2] content of tab [/Tab]

To put a background in each tab you place the BG tags (see above) around the 'content of tab' section. There are also Accordions - like tabs but more customisable, which I can tell you about if you want/meant that?

You forgot to put the closing Accordion tag so the bbcode glitched out. Just remove all of the accordion ([accordion ] and [/ accordion]) until you are left with one opening tag with the 35% etc in and one closing tag.
