Realistic or Modern Bouvardia Academy

(sorry my reply took forever. Had a killer chemistry assignment I had to do)

Mari grinned, following him. She hadn't danced since her lead in the musical last year, so she knew she was rusty. She stretched out as much as she could, hoping she wouldn't be too sore the next morning. "So, how do these lessons work, Mr. Charming?" @IIIREXIIIARCHERIIIII

Shane Emil:

He looked over at her while continuing to stretch. "What type of dancing did you did before going to Theater arts aka Drama?" He questioned as he slid to the side before doing a random flip. @McMajestic (it's alright, no biggie)

"Hip-hop. I learned most of what I know from youtube. It's good for dance auditions, I guess, but I never got good with any type of technique. I know the obvious things but don't ask me what position 5 is," she added jokingly, not even sure if that was a real thing in dance. "And most of my dancing in theatre was just fast-paced partner steps." Mari explained, thinking back to a musical she had done a couple years ago where her partner had managed to drop her on opening night. @IIIREXIIIARCHERIIIII

Shane Emil:

Shane nodded at that. "Well I learned from my brother before I was taught by a dance teacher that taught me how dance Hip-Hop, R&B and Breakdancing." He could had told her about his fighting style with Capoeira but decided not to. He took his usual stance and did a few steps. "Do them?" He told her.
@McMajestic

Mari copied easily. It was only the beginning. She knew it'd get harder, but she liked a challenge. "I'm already sweating," she joked, pretending to wipe sweat off her forehead and fanning herself overdramatically, hoping to make Shane laugh. @IIIREXIIIARCHERIIIII

Shane Emil:

Shane took that as a challenge before he did steps over steps over steps. He spun around while using one hand to stand before flipping over to her. He smirked while looking at her. "Is that easy?" He questioned.
@McMajestic

Mari shooed him away from her, determined to show him up. She started the step sequence and managed to hit every step... until about halfway through. She blanked at what came next, so she spun herself on the ground and landed laying on her side with her head propped up on her fist in the usual comedically hot pose. "Close enough?" She asked weakly. @IIIREXIIIARCHERIIIII

Shane Emil:

Shane laughed. "Got a long way to go if you want to be next to me on the dancing stage." He smirked at that before doing the spin with one hand over 15 times, doing a spin and landing on his hand. "Easy peacy." He whistled to her.
@McMajestic

Mari stood up, brushing herself off. "Okay, let's go back to the beginning, do the actually easy stuff first, or I really will start sweating." Mari said, stepping closer to Shane and smiling at him. She was having more fun than she had had in a long time. I bet mom and my brothers aren't having fun, so why should I? She tried to shake the thought off. @IIIREXIIIARCHERIIIII

Shane Emil:

Shane laughed before nodding. He jumped back into his foot and made a spin after that. "Sounds like a plan." He told her, as he showed her the few steps he showed earlier and doing a few more to help out. "I'm not a valet or Salsa dancer, so expect to sweat and be tire as hell once this is over.' He warned her.
@McMajestic

"Oh... great," Mari drawled out, following after Shane. She grinned as she did the moves. She knew they were simple, but it felt good to get back into dance. It had never been her dream to be a dancing star, but it was more like a hobby she had grown out of and was getting back into. @IIIREXIIIARCHERIIIII

Shane Emil:

Shane smirked before laughing a little bit. "Want to pick up the pace?" He redid the steps before adding a few other steps that were difficult for some beginners.
@McMajestic

Mari followed, slowing down a bit but managing to get through it all without stumbling. She was just about to say something when her cell phone rang. "One second," She picked it up. It was her fourteen-year-old brother, Dylan. "Why haven't you called?"

"I've been busy." Mari spoke into her phone, slightly irritated. She glanced up at Shane, turning her volume down just a bit so he couldn't hear the other end of the conversation.

"Mom's pretty pissed. You haven't sent any cash and rent's due next Tuesday."

"
Isn't Gabriel working?" Mari demanded, tapping her foot impatiently. She was worried, but she couldn't show it.

"He blew all his money on beer for a party. Mom almost killed him."

"He's only sixteen. He can't walk into a store and buy beer!" Mari exclaimed, outraged by the situation. "Whatever, I'll send you something soon, I promise. Love you." Mari hung up the phone before she could get a response, reaching for her jacket. "I'm sorry, Prince Charming, but I'll have to cut this lesson short." @IIIREXIIIARCHERIIIII

Shane Emil:

Shane growled between his teeth quietly. He hated leaving something underwya, he liked to finish what he started. He reluctantly nodded before going over to her and kissing her. "Tomorrow from 3pm, have your eschedule clear." He told her as he spun around. He wasn gonna teach her the way he was taught and there was no way, he was gonna leave it hallway like all those idiots. "That's an order not a request." He added. He normally didn't get mad but something that involved dancing, it kinda made him somewhat mad.
@McMajestic

Mari noticed the shift in his tone, and felt uneasy, but attempted to keep her cool. She'd been around worse tempers, people who got angrier way easier. "Alright. It'll be clear just for you." She smiled despite the obvious tension and headed back to her dorm quickly. She was on the first floor and didn't have a roommate. "Okay, Mari, you need to make a couple hundred bucks fast," She looked through her artwork, searching for a finished piece she could do without, but found nothing. She'd sold it all. Mari sat on her bed, resting her head in her hands as she tried to figure out what to do. There was no way she could get a quality piece made in a day. Mari glanced at her phone, arguing with herself for the longest time before finally picking it up, scrolling through all her guy contacts. She knew a fast way to make it, she just wasn't a big fan of that particular way, but she didn't have much choice. Her family needed the money, and she needed to provide for them. @IIIREXIIIARCHERIIIII

Shane Emil:

Shane sat by the window with a frown but shook it off. He grabbed his phone, scrolling through the contacts and contacting his brother. Yes his brother,the one who taught him things how to survive. "hug Deartháir i gá ya cabhrú , conas is féidir liom a mhúineadh go díreach duine éigin conas a rince nuair does not sí ag iarraidh a fhoghlaim?" He asked once his older brother Answered. "Just a bheith agat." His brother responded which made him growl. He always spoke to him in Irish he got mad and call his brother, but now this answer made him mad. "Ní raibh tú a cabhrú fiú ar chor ar bith." He told him before hanging up and looking up at the sky from where he sat. @McMajestic (language learned when small)

Mari didn't sleep. It'd been a long time since she'd gone without even a couple hours, but after last night she couldn't help but stay awake. She sat up after laying in her bed for hours, staring up at the ceiling, and took a long show, letting the hot water turn her skin red before getting out and putting on something presentable. Just a crop top and some shorts. She wasn't looking for an entire outfit. She headed over to the boy's dorms, knowing it was too early for this to be allowed but not to worried since most people were asleep at five in the morning. She headed to Shane's and knocked, figuring she needed to apologize- really apologize- for abandoning him last night. That guilt might have been what kept her up most of the night. She wondered if it'd make him mad to get woken up so early. @IIIREXIIIARCHERIIIII

Shane Emil:

Shane got off the shower after waking up and only sleeping for 3 hours. He had been up dancing and writing songs when Mari left and didn't feel like sleeping until he fell asleep around 12:30m. He washed his hair before choosing some random clothes and shoes. He raised an eyebrow when someone knocked on his dorm room. It was barely 5am and he didn't tell anyone where he slept at besides Mari. He shrugged before opening the dorm and seeing the evil maiden as he liked to call her. "Yes?" He asked casually with a smile on his face.

Mari looked up at him, and her mind suddenly went blank. She just stood there dumbly for a long time, staring at him, until she awkwardly cleared her throat and got her thoughts together. "I'm really sorry I abandoned you last night. That was a bitch move. I just had a family thing I needed to work out, but I promise it won't happen again. I'm not one to break promises." She spoke, her words almost running together. She'd never apologized in such an important way before. The other person's reaction had never actually meant something to her until that moment. @IIIREXIIIARCHERIIIII

Shane Emil:

Shane held the door open for her to come inside. "ná bí buartha, it happens to the best of us." He told her while also letting out his Irish tone. "That meant No worries by the way." He teased her as he went to sit down on the couch, looking to see if she would come in or not.
@McMajestic

Mari came in and laid down on his bed, sighing in relief. "There's a lot I'm finding out about you, what language is that?" She asked, intrigued even as she curled up under his covers to relax for the remaining few hours she had before school started. @IIIREXIIIARCHERIIIII

Shane Emil:

Shane hummed a little bit at that. He was one third Irish but he didn't like telling anyone about it. "Its Irish, a language I learned from my older brother." He told her. Irish was one of the two languages that he knew but the other one was one language he was still learning. "My mother taught my brother and my brother taught me." His parents were already at the age of 50, needing help for medication. How they had his little sister before that? He had no idea.
@McMajestic

"That sounds good." Lynne smiled. "But you know, you don't have to walk me." She told Brandon as they headed down the halls. She hadn't been to the beach sense she's been here so she was excited to be going now.

@redwood

Dustin laughed and splashed Danni back. When she dived into the water he stayed in the shallows. He wasn't much of a swimmer, especially in oceans. He hated going deeper than his head in the water, so he just stood there and watched Danni.

@McMajestic

"Nah, I want to," Brandon said, pushing open one of the doors. Following her out of the building, he added, "It's not that out of the way. Have you been to the beach yet? I went my first weekend here, and I gotta tell you, it's a really nice place. It reminds me of the beaches I used to live by, before I came up here."

@Alixx

"An Irish boy huh? I guess that means you can be my good luck charm, " Mari smiled. "So what's your brother like?" She asked, wanting to know more. She always found other people's lives interesting. It gave her plenty of sketch ideas. @IIIREXIIIARCHERIIIII

Danni noticed Dustin wasn't coming out any farther and went back over to him, slightly confused. "What's the matter? " She asked, hoping she hadn't already done something wrong. @Alixx
