There are two problems with that, well three.

1. Tou isn't an octopus, he's a nervous and low self-esteem wreck
2. Octavia is blind so he'll just walk away, but then feel bad that she's ;eaving her and will try to help only to get kidnapped for a few days and be released (since no death is allowed)
3. Tou has shadow tails and they go further than her tentacle hair so he can just push her back, wait for her to tire out, and put her to bed like the good boy he is
