I’d suggest waiting so no one will have to wait till you get back

Depends on when this hiatus is suppose to begin. If it's suppose to begin next week, I'd just hold off as you wont be able to get anything substantial done before you leave. If the hiatus isn't for a while, then you should post and just end your interactions when it's time to leave.

Also dependent on whether your hiatus is absolute or not. If you can sneak in a post once a week while gone that wont be a big deal.

You should wait in that case. As well as provide me with the reason if possible, but if not , then at least warn
