Fandom Boku no Hero: Peace Sign Academia OOC

Can you read Japanese? Or do you just tend to want spoilers?

I can't read japanese, I just don't care about spoilers so I knew what went down in the chapter the moment it was printed cuz people took pictures of their books and other people did rough translations.

I’m going to try something!

one day... i’ll actually finish something

The fleece lining of her winter coat tickles her nose as she brings the fur closer to her face, embracing its warmth in the biting cold. It was currently the night before Christmas, a holiday she was never accustomed to, the bullshit about spreading happiness was lost on her. She’d been sitting on the ledge of a fountain for a good twenty minutes, anticipating the arrival of one of PRISMA’s old associates in order to collect the contents of the old man’s will. Michiko Ueno would never have guessed that she’d be receiving his effects, but surprisingly enough, her mentor didn’t have any family to give it to. A breath escapes her mouth as she moves her gloved hands to the coat’s pockets, shivering. A year had passed since the incident in America and the death of the flamboyant, beautiful PRISMA, but the memories seemed to be centuries away, in that she could barely remember anything besides their agency’s mediocre fame and fortune. Ueno was young but her memory was fleeting, yet it was only due to her refusal to reflect on the past and focus on the present and future. The thought of abandoning her meeting and opting to go home crossed her mind several times, but the hope that PRISMA had left money and power to her overwhelmed her thoughts.

The bright, colorful colors of the joyous decorations and lights around the plaza illuminate her body as she continues to wait. Almost comically, she jumps in fright at the sudden sound of someone clearing their throat behind her, her name following it. “Ueno-san, I presume?” Quickly, Ueno stands up and turns around, surprised to see a rather young (and handsome) man. Nodding her head, she glances to the box in his arms, which seemed to be rather light, assuming from the man’s ease in holding it. “Yes, that’s me. You’re PRISMA’s friend then, I suppose?”

The man scoffs, setting the box on the fountain’s ledge as he reaches into his pocket for a crudely folded piece of paper. ‘The will…?’ “That’s all he told you? His friend?” With a dramatic sigh, he shrugs his shoulders and places his hands on his hips, smirking. “That man was as scummy as ever, then. My name is Hu, Junjie Hu, I was his boyfriend a while back.”

Ueno’s eyes widen a little, her mouth forming into an ‘O’ shape. “I didn’t know he took part in that kind of stuff. I figured he was the type who accepted being alone forever.” Junjie lets out a loud laugh, leaning closer to pat her on the back, in which Ueno responds with a quiet chuckle, surprised at his sudden outburst. In fact, Michiko did not intend on voicing her thoughts on the old man’s love life, it had just slipped out. Now understanding that he was laughing at her joke, she laughs as well.
