You should it's part of her character. She thinks heavily on money and stability. She's not materialistic or greedy but she did grow up poor and that stays with you.

Pragmatically earning money at any opportunity. I just find it amusing since I also wanted to make money with my new char if they ever get approved. Of course in that instance it was more of a "because they can" and less because of their upbringing.
