I'm having a hard thinking of a special move for him since I want him to come off as very rookieish even for a student.

How about he produces a super loud sonicblast that can damage ear drums and crack glass but his senses are overwhelmed due to the feedback?

  Appearance: Ren has a head full of messy fluffy blond hair with a pair of yellow moth antennas sticking out of the mess of hair, he lacks traditional ears. He has a pair of red eyes which if look closely his irises are compounded and allows him to see UVrays. He has a a pair of pink and yellow wings which are soft and fluffy to the touch but yet durable enough to handle combat. Due to his shy nature he wears rather conservative clothing that hide his soft body, his clothes are always several sizes too big and soft to the touch. And also warm since he can't handle the cold too well. He often wears pink and yellow since he feels other colors clash with his hair and wings.

  Ren's hero costume is modest in design and protection. It is light enough to easily fly in but also give him some protection. It also conceals his antennas since they are sensitive to the touch and a villain might tug on them if they were let loose. But the hood is also thin enough that sounds waves caused by his echolocation could be sensed and understood by him.

  Personality: Shy and timid by nature, Ren is very polite to others but tends to stutter and stammer during conversations, a fact more prevalent when he's nervous or overwhelmed. He is easily intimidated by others and of most situations, more so if he's out of his comfort zone which isn't that big. These traits stick out considerably for being in the Hero Course. But what he lacks in confidence and bravery he makes up for in compassion and a strong will within in his meekness. His strong will emerges during time of crisis. While he abhors senseless violence and has no desire to hurt others, he has the resolve to fight to save and protect others. But he would much rather talk out a problem and resolve it peacefully. While he's young, he's not naive or immature, he understands the world and its flaws and how his attempts at pacifism will hold him back from a high ranking in the Pro-hero scene but he doesn't care he will be a Pro-hero Who only fights when there's no other options!

  History: Ren lived with his parents and older sister. Due to his Quirk effect on his appearance he was often bullied by kids for being small and weak. His life was painfully normal and mundane his parents weren't heroes or even working at a agency they only owned a small hotel which is only famous for their hot springs and home made food. Ren's older sister often bossed him around and was rather controlling of him. Because of all this he is shy, soft spoken, timid, but yet kind and determined to prove himself to everybody. He wanted to be a Pro-hero so he can make a name for himself and so that a "cute and weak moth" can be a Hero like All Might or Endeavor and make the world a better place!

  Ren's mutation quirk is that he has all the characteristic and abilities of a moth. His Antennas are incredibly sensitive to air pressure and vibrations so can pick up on sound waves outside of human hearing and can pick up audible sounds from much farther away then the average person. It is estimated he can hear about 3 times better then the average human. Ren can produce Echolocation like ultrasonic clicks with his mouth and with his antennas, he can "See" without his eyes and he can map out a location in a 10 meter radius with just a few clicks. His eyes are compounded which allows him to see UV rays which can be useful for tracking those with cloaking quirks if his Echolocation somehow doesn't work. He can fly but only for a few seconds at a time before getting tired but he can glide for a much longer time. Ren's wings can support 40 extra pounds before it can't support itself anymore and Ren plummets. His hands, knees, elbows, and feet have tiny but strong tarsal claws so he can stick to rough surfaces (smooth surfaces he just slides right off) He can latch onto a surface for a long time since his tarsal claws are strong. His Tarsal claws can only support himself before they lose grip. Ren has powerful jaw muscles and pointed teeth, as he can chew though leather and wires but anything hardier he risk cracking a tooth. Due to his heighten senses Ren can sense Radio waves as a subtle pinging sound, which allows him to sense anything that's connected to said radio waves, like Cell Phones, TV's, computers, and security cameras, basically anything that uses Bluetooth or WIFI. But he needs to listen carefully to even hear the radio waves in the first place and its not pinpoint perfect and he only has a general idea where the device is located and other connected devices can throw off his radio waves senses.

  Sonic Scream:
  
  Ren can let out a loud echolocation sound wave that is 130 decibels. The echoing causes a sonic boom all around him and in front of him. The Echo can shatter solid glass if its in front of him and about ten feet away but glass will simply crack if its in any other direction within six feet of him. The side effects is that Ren's senses are overwhelmed and he sees everything in great detail but it takes moments to process fully and his throat needs a short break to recover from the scream.
