Yes. Yes there is.

I PM'ed someone already, but if you feel like looking over it before I finish my form I can send you the newer version of the one we discussed--
The one you told me to lower the number on, not the crazy one from before.

Yeah I know you did, but I kind of decided to try redoing my whole character to something you would probably like more based off of your suggestions, so I ended up trying to pander to you. because it is very satisfying when the GM praises you for your character
And some of the details I was debating were over-dramatic, but they were simply different directions I had considered but not actually implementing.

You'll see the final version when I finish, or at least you can if you decide to read that bit.
The whole story about his parents is actually just an extra bit that is kind of an optional read for people who look at my form. What I sent you isn't really Chiru's backstory, its more of his father's backstory and I thought it'd be some interesting information to add since the way his father responds to it affects how he goes about raising Chiru which is very loving and protective, and I think Chiru's father might have a more eventful backstory than my actual character . . . That's actually kind of ironic
I did alter the quirk you said would be alright, so when I post the sheet you'll have to re advise it.

I might post it as a WIP after I finish Chiru's backstory (not the extra bit), and go over it while making some edits. I need to look over all of the rules and stuff too, since I have been so zoned on this that I don't remember some bits of the roleplay @.@ it is also 2:02 am
Well, alright. I can understand wanting praise, with my ego I crave it myself, and don't worry about knowing all the rules, nobody's gonna beat you over the head over a couple of slip ups. Honestly a lot of the rules are just there cause I had to get extra specific for some people. Though, a tip for the future, if I say a personality is over-dramatic removing it is not the only solution, you can also change the character to better reflect the events, AKA make them actually matter and be necessary and thus not over-dramatic.

In any case, as you've already been told, you do you. Ultimately, there is no point if you can't have fun too.

Most of my interest came from how well developed this RP seems to be and how much thought went into it. I often find these kind of RPs more enjoyable

Hey Idea Idea ? do you have issues with quirks that start out rather flexible but lack offensive power?
No I do not. Quirk variability, as in, the more options a quirk has, just has to be inversely proportional to the power of each option. Aka, a very flexible quirk should be very weak in terms of the power of each effect, whereas more single-minded powers can afford a bit more power

Okay, cause the Quirk I'm writing has a lot of abilities which could be useful for many things but not for combat, so I'm trying to limit their current power nevertheless. The character has all the abilities of a Moth kinda like Asui's quirk. So he has compound eyes which lets him see UVrays, a pair of antennas instead of ears that give him heighten hearing, he has echolocation and said echolocation has a range of about 10 meters, limited flight and gliding, able to cling to rough surfaces, and finally sharp teeth and strong jaw muscles This is cheating a bit since this ability is based more on larvae. So he only has one offensive ability at the moment but he has a lot of secondary abilities and I'm worried all of these are a bit much.

I have another idea for a character~ He has a moth-form quirk which means he has all the ability of a moth, so flight, echolocation, and a powerful jaw and teeth that can bite though leather and other tough clothing material I know its larvae that eat clothes but he needs at least one offensive abilities right off the bat. I'm also drawing a blank for Mika's intro post and making more characters always help get the old muse machine working
I think Tanya Degurechaff Tanya Degurechaff wanted to do a moth girl, but with his indecisivenes I dont even know if He'll go with it. :v

Issue with quirk flexibility is they're always going to be far more flexible than you initially think. Bakugo's a great example of that. "Lol I can make my sweat explode". And yet look at all the ways he uses it, from mobility to utility to offense and defense. And you always get more ideas after you've made your quirk. I've thought of numerous things Toki can do with her quirk since making her, things I never thought of before and didn't include initially. But the groundwork is all there and approved so it's just a natural way of using it. I'm sure everyone's had that. Where weeks, even months later they go "shit, what if I do this with my quirk?"

You have to intentionally make a super restrictive quirk for it to not be usable in all aspects. EVERY quirk has utility, offense, and defense. And most quirks have mobility. It's just realizing what you can do with the tools you have.

Yeah I get what you mean the more I work on this character the more flexibility his secondary abilities his quirk gives him

Sorry for double post*
But I mean the only special move I can think of is that he can hear and pinpoint radiowaves and the devices that are connected to them so he can locate activated Wifi or bluetooth devices just by listening very carefully. but is that too OP?

As an end-game professional hero? Naw. But as a student I'd slacken them up so it's not so accurate. General idea and general area sort of thing.

So long as these abilities are all fitting of the actual general animal they are united in concept. From what I was shown, there doesn't seem to be a conceptual issue, so whether it works is most likely gonna boil down to concrete limits.

Sound a bit too casual for a special move

I hopefully did the limits well~

Sound a bit too casual for a special move

It was either that or he has an extra organ in his throat that allows him to make clicking sounds so rapidly and so loudly that they jam people's hearing and causes pain
