Claudine frowns, "im sorry.. I cant relate to that.." She said a bit above a whisper. "I saw my mother shot by my father then kill himself. But that's quicker than what you had to watch.. Alyiah found herself waking up in K'tal arms. She blushed strongly once she realized that she had fallen asleep by his side. Brushing her eyes to push the sleepiness away,she looked up at the vampire shyly.



"Do you...feel better?" She noticed that he seemed troubled and tried to pinpoint the cause. "Maybe..no,this is something different. What happened,K'tal? Is this because of the ghouls you mentioned earlier?"

K'tal gave a shining grin at Alyiah. "Yes," he said softly and lovingly, "so much better. Thank you." He sat up in the bed and yawned, stretching and rubbing his eyes. She was so cute when blushing, he couldn't help but stare. His hand reached out and brushed her hair behind her ear, lightly brushing her cheek in the process. It was only when his hand touched her cheek a second time that he realized what he was doing. K'tal's face flushed to a deep crimson, and his hand quickly drew back. He played it off cool and cleared his throat audibly.


"Yeah," he said while holding back any further blushing, "the ghouls. I realized where they're coming from. Apparently, a demon lord named 'Crowley' has been sending souls to hell, but leaving the bodies unattended. Therefore, turning the husks into beings devoid of conscience, but still feel the suffering of their souls in hell. I'm gonna have to talk to him about it."


K'tal wanted to leave the bed so badly due to embarrassment, but some outside force kept him in. He looked down to hid his blush, and continued speaking softly, "This Crowley fellow is plenty powerful, from what I hear. Probably the oldest thing in this world, too, next to me. He was human to start off with, from what I remember. Probably got a few ten thousand years on him. So, you might have to wait here until I come back...or in case I don't..."
