it wasn't a normal explosion! It was some new nuclear weaponry they were testing out in the dessert in what they assumed to be out of harms way, however after testing they discovered that the radiation from the bombs had somehow had a chemical reaction with the decomposed bodies in a nearby Native American Burial Ground, and they were attacking a nearby military base. the radiation spreads and starts attacking only the already deceased luckily, the only way the living are affected is through the dead attacking them. Hence, why we are still alive...
the only way to destroy the dead is a direct hit in the spinal cord at the nape of the neck. the chemicals in the bone marrow and nervous system in the spinal chord reacting with the chemicals in the radiation are what are bringing the zombies to life! And the only way to kill them is to shoot or disable the spinal chord!
Things will be added and updated as story progresses.

- Standard roleplay rules.
- No Mary Sue characters.
- unique history.
- I would also enjoy if you are literate and also I wish for you to have fairly realistic dialogue.
- Show proper acts. Most people are going to pile at the first smell of a rotting body. A lot will puke due to seeing a person's guts being ripped out.
- Characters will die. I will kill characters randomly. And if your character gets themself into a situation they cannot get out of, no amount of plot armor can save them. The Walking Dead is built around the characters and the things they go through. Death is definitely one of them.
- Players can choose to appoint a democracy or a permanent leader. It doesn't matter who, but there needs to be some system.
