Diana Stanley was so excited, and honored, that she had been selected for this. A week ago she had been squealing in her room with the paper clutched against her chest, which of course had send her roommate Rosaline running in to ask what was the matter. They both had been jumping around and spend the night drinking wine, a bit too much wine, to celebrate BOTH their acceptance, before realizing that they were not suppose to talk about it with others. So, in order to act like they had indeed kept this all a secret, they had decided to go seperate towards the big concert building where the whole thing would take place.

It was of course not the first time she was at the big London Concert Buidling as a violin player and one of the top students from the Royal Academy of Music, she had played quite some concerto's there before. Yet this time was different. It was special. This could be the launch of a world wide carreer, a world tour for her and her violin. Of course only as a duet with Rosa and her flute. She wouldn't go anywhere without her bestie! The thought alone was heartbreaking. She clapped her hands happily together, as she often did so when excited. RoRo always said it was cute. She smiled as she quickly thanked the cab driver and gave him the money she owned him. With her suitcases in tow, one big trolley with clothes, and her violin strapped onto her back she made her way across the street to the hotel they would be staying.

The blonde had to admit that it would be weird not sharing her room with Rosaline, as they had for the past four years at the RAM dorm, but at the same time she was excited to meet her roommate, if she would have one. Oh, she wished they would have given them some more information, but at the same time she loved this mystery. She was a lover of adventures after all. She grabbed her phone to quickly text her boyfriend back. Lincoln, unlike RoRo, didn't know a thing about her getting selected. Hey Honey, how are you? How are your parents? Her thumbs quickly moved over the screen as she texted her lover. He had, just like most others, gone back home for the summer break. She would go visit him in a month, or at least that was the plan so far. The idea already brought dread to her. His family was lovely and all that, but ugh... the questions! She had a whole life a head of her, she wasn't ready to get married and pop out kids yet! If at all.

Her teeth found her bottom lip as she instantly felt guilty for thinking that way. He was a sweet guy, but... well, a future husband had to be more than just a sweet guy right? She pushed those thoughts aside, no time to dwell on relationship trouble now! She was about be part of the most extra ordinary music experience she could have. OMG, this hotel is mwah! She wrote towards Rosaline, including the chef kiss meme. Can't wait till you are here and we can hype together again! Oh, they would drive the rest of the people crazy, but she couldn't care less. RoRo was her bestie! She put up her biggest smile, which wasn't that hard seen the circumstances, and entered her room. "Helloooo~," she called out enthusiastic, but only silence replied. Oh, perhaps no shared rooms after all? She stepped further into the room. There were two beds, so her roommate probably not that early as she was. She checked her watched. Five past half, yeah, she was kinda early. Well, who ever would be her roommate, she hoped it was a hot boy.

Immediately after that thought a soft heated feeling fell over her cheeks. She was a taken woman! She wasn't suppose to think that way. Though, a bit of eye candy wouldn't harm right? She could still watch. Ugh, she was the worst! She put her violin case on the bed, claiming the right bed as her own. "I will be with you in a minute, babe," she spoke to her violin. Next was her trolley that she rammed up agains the wardrobe. Quickly she opened it up and started to put her clothes in there. Though she did make sure to leave enough space for the mystery person that would join her. She hung the last dresses in the wardrobe and took a deep breath. She had taken the long gala dresses she normally used for concerts, just to be sure.

Now that everything was arranged and settled, Diana returned to her phone. Bitchhhhh you are taking too long! She send the message towards Rosaline, of course followed by a heart and a kiss. She would pick her up here and then they would go to the concertroom together. There would be no harm in that, right? Totally coincidence they walked into each other on the hallway. She opened up her violing case and smiled as her fingers ran over the wood. She picked it up and gently attached the shoulder rest, before moving it up. She plucked a bit on the strings to make sure it was the right tone, perfect pitch could be such a blessing at times! She closed her eyes as she started a simple melody, nothing to complicated, just a Bach piece that she often used to play. Lately she didn't give it the attention it deserved anymore as she was more focussed on Sibbelius and Pagini. She hummed along softly as her body swung a bit, while the bow lightly hit the strings as her fingers moved by muscle memory. Rosaline better be here quick!

Steven J. Kenway

...
One week ago

Steven read the letter again. It was at least his twentieth time in the last ten minutes, but he was so shocked, he just had to keep rereading it, to keep trying to hammer it into his head that yes, this was an acceptance letter to be one of the students from LMA to participate in the London’s Got Talent band event this year. Steven had never made it into the event before, and to be accepted in the year that they were changing things up had him bursting with excitement. He could barely believe it. Five years of hard work and practice, and he was finally good enough to be chosen. He wanted to call Gabe, to tell his best friend the good news, but the instructions that came with the letter very clearly said no one was to know Steven had gotten accepted until he arrived at the concert room with the other nine—four LMA and five RAM—students. So, despite wanting nothing more than to rave about it to anyone who was willing to listen, Steven settled for doing a happy dance in the middle of the hallway, then stashed the letter away in his bag.

Now

Cars flashed by the cab window as Steven stared out of it, the sound of horns honking and engines running falling on deaf ears as a track from one of his favorite bands played in his ears. He’d spent the week packing, telling his roommate he was heading back to Australia for the summer as per the wishes of the people who ran the London’s Got Talent event. He’d barely been able to contain his excitement for the week and being around Gabe without telling him had nearly driven poor Steven crazy. He was so used to talking to his best friend about everything—not doing so just felt weird. Still, he’d made it, and he’d left LMA about ten minutes ago, around noon, to head for the hotel. He knew he was going to be there early, but he supposed that was better than late, and he was taking the “Your acceptance is a secret thing” to heart.

About five minutes later, the cab came to a stop outside of the hotel where he would be staying. Steven paid the cab driver with a smile, then grabbed his stuff and got out. Shouldering his backpack—which held small things, like a family picture Steven always kept with him and several pairs of drumsticks, Steven tucked his favorite pair of drumsticks into his back pocket and gripped his suitcase before heading into the hotel. As he checked in, got his key, and then headed up to his room, he wondered if Gabriel had gotten accepted. He hoped he had. He wanted to share this experience, this opportunity for a world tour—something both he and Gabriel were passionate about doing—with his best friend. And if by some mistake Gabe hadn’t been chosen, Steven wanted the event to start already, so he could call him and tell him about it.

As he made his way up to his room, he heard the melodic sound of a violin being played and grinned. That was another part of this event Steven was excited about: the chance to meet and work with classical musicians. A lot of people at LMA didn’t like them, but Steven thought that they were all musicians—each school just practiced a different kind of music. Swaying his head back and forth to the sound of the violin melody, Steven unlocked his room and stepped inside, whistling quietly at the sight of the fancy hotel room. After a moment, he walked over to the bed beside the windows and set his stuff down on top of it before laying out on his back on the bed with a grin. 1:00 PM couldn’t come fast enough.

It had been one week since the letter had come in the mail. While the stationary had been rather fancy, the text was so vague that Millie wondered if it was all a scam. She thought that maybe it had been a joke, someone's sick prank of building her up just to kick her down again, like everything else in life always did. After all, what kind of official acceptance letter was only two paragraphs long? Nevertheless, she contacted her land lady to keep an eye on her apartment, and babysit Nymph while she was away. Millie knew she would miss her fluffy Ragdoll kitten. But she hoped that this camp with London Got Talent would give her the experience and exposure she needed to make a better life for Nymph...and maybe herself as well.

When she moved to London a few years ago to attend the London Music Academy, Millie was more than ready to leave her life in the United States behind. In fact, she hadn't spoken to anyone back home since she moved across the pond. But, it had still been a struggle, both financially and mentally. Moving to a foreign country with no friends and no life line had actually been the reason she adopted Nymph to begin with. Not much had changed since then, more so because there were few people Millie could tolerate being around. Nevertheless, she was happy. So, as she rode in the cab towards the London Concert Building, a small smile played at the corners of her pale blush lips.

Approaching the building was rather surreal, though most wouldn't be able to tell from the apathetically cold expression Millie kept on her face. As she exited the cab with her backpack on her back, her large suitcase in one hand, and her rolling keyboard case in the other, Millie looked up at the massive concert hall across the street. "Hopefully, this doesn't all go to shit," she couldn't help but mutter as she turned and entered the hotel that she would call home for the next little while. After taking the lift to the third floor, the blonde keyboardist was rather surprised at the size and amenities of the room her key card opened. But the fact that there were two beds was a bit disconcerting.

Shrugging her shoulders, opting to worry about it later, Millie threw her backpack on to one of the beds and pushed her suitcase into the corner next to the wardrobe. She would unpack later, if she decided to unpack at all. The only thing Millie decided to set up was her keyboard. It was the most expensive thing she owned, having saved up for it for months while she worked as a children's music tutor. Millie shuddered at the memory. She placed the keyboard on its stand against a window overlooking the city. If she was going to play in a hotel room, she might as well look at something inspiring.

Running a hand through her blonde hair, Millie decided she might as well walk over to the concert room. It was still a bit earlier, to early for the bar to be serving drinks, so she honestly had nothing better to do. With her hands stuffed into her pockets, Millie walked straight for the concert room, only pausing briefly outside to smoke a quick cigarette. The concert room was much larger than she had imagined it would be. She let out a low whistle, rather impressed, and began to meander around the outer edge of the room. But like a moth to a flame, the blonde was drawn directly to the grand piano in the room. While Millie preferred the sound of a keyboard over a piano, she couldn't deny that both were amazing. Fingers itching to touch the ivory keys, she sat down behind the piano and softly began to play Ocean Eyes, singing almost silently under her breath.

"Yes, Mom, I've practiced and prepared every piece I could think of... Well, I suppose there were some I didn't think of... Sure, I'll look into them as soon as I reach the hotel... No you don't need to email-... Alright, I'll check my email and download them as soon as I get there. Alright. Yes. Yes. Okay. Love you too, bye." Lincoln quickly pressed the red 'end' button on his smart phone before his mother could say anything else on the other end. As much as he loved his mother and appreciated how supportive she was, sometimes it was overwhelming. Link let out a heavy sigh, ignoring the furrowed brow of obviously eavesdropping cab driver. He didn't feel like explaining about his parents and their high expectations. Instead, Lincoln drummed his fingers on his thigh and stared out the window as the streets of London raced passed.

By the time the cab pulled up in front of the large hotel, the leftover anxiety from a phone conversation with his mother had dissipated. Excitement replaced it as Link climbed out of the cab, first glancing at the large London Concert Building across the street then the rather exquisite hotel alongside him. Having been assured that the venue would have a grand piano to his level and liking, Lincoln had fit the other musical necessities and every day items he needed into a single large suitcase. He pulled it from where it sat beside him in the back seat of the cab and paid for his ride, speaking a quick, "Thanks," to the cab driver before shutting the car door behind him.

As soon as the classical pianist entered the lobby, he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. Link paused, pulling his phone from his pocket to check his messages. On the screen was a message from his girlfriend, Diana. She was beautiful, and an absolutely astounding violin player. In fact, she was the one who had encouraged him to apply for this talent show to begin with. However, due to the rules, he hadn't been able to tell her he was accepted, and didn't know if she was accepted either. From her message, Diana seemed to assume he had returned home to stay with his parents for the summer. Not wanting to break the news over text if she hadn't been accepted, Link decided he would get settled in his room before calling her to chat. With that, he returned his phone to his pocket and stepped into the lift.

Moments later, Lincoln found his room on the third floor, stepping inside room 315. He knew he was supposed to have a roommate. But it seemed that they hadn't arrived yet. Though he was a bit curious as to who his roomie would be, he couldn't help but hope they were at least courteous and nice. Link heaved his suitcase up on one of the beds and began to unpack it, making sure to leave enough room in the wardrobe and drawers for whoever his roommate would be. Just as head had finished hanging up his recital shirts in the wardrobe, the faint sound of violin music could be heard drifting down the hallway.

Lincoln couldn't help but think of Diana as soft, pretty violin music filled his ears. His parents had been pressuring him about settling down and all that lately, and he couldn't deny that it seemed like the logical step. After all, he had been with Diana for almost two years. But Link wasn't really sure he was ready for all that. He wanted to focus on his music career, make sure he actually had a career in music and was able to follow his dreams before succumbing to the stereotypical family of 2.5 kids and a white picket fence. Pushing those thoughts away, Lincoln decided to venture into the hallway and follow the music, ending up just outside room 318. Just as he knocked on the door, interested in introducing himself to the violinist, he heard a familiar humming tone. "Diana?"

Is it bad that she lied to her parents? Yes, it is. Do you think they'll be angry when they find out that Sylvia has gone to a talent show instead of class for brass instruments? Hard to say but she was already en route to the concert hall and they she's long away from Cambridge, where she is staying while in London with her dad and relatives from her father's side. It was a good thing she wore a loose and very thin white sweater over her blue tank. Protects her skin from the sun, while staying cool and comfy. Although everywhere she goes people just stare at her, most likely thinking where the heck is a tiny girl like her gonna go with her two bags for instrument, a suitcase and another bag strapped on the trolley. She brought over her harmonica, guitar and her most precious saxophone. She couldn't leave them, her trombie was sacrificed to stay and keep their piano some company back at home and if it weren't for the fact that she was over packed, she'd definitely bring her trombone with her.

For the most part, she mostly keeps to herself at RAM. She knows a few people, got a few friends but you'll mostly just find her in one of the rooms scribbling down her notes or just playing random stuff with whatever can make a sound with. But enough about school, the more important thing right now is... GOT TALENT! She can't believe that she is gonna be a part of it and that excites her so much, she was actually screaming when she finished reading the letter. Her father had gone up from the first to the third floor panting hard only to find his daughter giddy with happiness. Of course, he doesn't know. She quickly hid the paper and said, "I'm going back to RAM because they just opened up a workshop class for Euphonium!"

That was her lie because the letter was meant to be a secret. Sylvia didn't even care if it was real or not, she was just too excited and didn't actually want to be back home. After a few hours of traveling by public transportation, she arrived at the one and only place for the show. She got her keys, and she still have a few minutes to, at the very least throw(she would never do that to her babies) her stuff into the room. It was a shock to her to have opened the door and find two beds and someone resting on one of them. If it were two pee room she had expected to be with a fellow woman. She closed the door immediately and checked her key, it had the number 316, the room was also 316. She didn't know what to do honestly, the small woman though of it as a mistake and maybe it is but by looking at her watch it was almost time to go and she wanted to be the first one in the hall. She went in put down her bags, and said, "Aren't you coming? It's almost time to get together downstairs." She didn't wait for him or his reply and hurried down.

She quietly entered the concert room, amazed at it's grandiosity but her ears were directed to the soft playing of the piano. She followed the sound, greeted by the site of a blonde woman she couldn't recognize whose hair had hid the face. Syl couldn't help but smile, the woman in front of her was good and her song of choice fitted the instrument really well. She hummed quietly to herself tapping her fingers to her khaki pants, hoping that it wouldn't be heard by the player and continue playing with the keys as the she or maybe the both of them wait.

He went through his checklist one more time in his head. A bit late to check now that he was already on his way to the hotel, but he was 110% sure he had everything with him anyway. He was always pretty organised, especially for things like travel. Being so organised was probably why he looked so calm about all this. Or maybe he was just trying to not look like a goofball. After all when he had recieved his letter a week ago he was walking around grinning to himself for the rest of the evening. How could he not though? Only the best students get those letters and he was surprised his application got accepted. It made him wonder who else got accepted. He knew a good few of his friends had signed up too. But with this stupid rule that the couldn't tell anyone he just had to let the curiosity eat at him for now.

The only thing that could ruin his good mood right now was the weather. This was beautiful pleasant weather for most but even this was still too hot for him. With a disgruntled expression he opened the window in the taxi he was in and popped on his sunglasses. God he hated summer heat. He'd pick winter over this any day. He just counted himself lucky that his parents high tailed it out of Texas when he was a baby and brought him to the UK. The summer would be a million times worse there and he wasnt sure if he would have survived the Texan heat at all. Luckily the breeze that was accompanying the sunshine was helping a little.

His journey soon ended as the taxi stopped I front of the hotel he'd be staying at. "Wow. Swanky." He commented quietly to himself as he stepped out of the vehicle and stared at the the building in front if him. He got to stay here and it was all paid for? Sweet. Walking around to the back of the Taxi he opened the back door and pulled out his stuff which included his Trumpet and Cornet. He was sure to be careful with those cases in particular. Those were his babies after all. But the rest he either put on his back or carried it under his arm. Giving the Taxi driver a smile and a wave he headed towards the front door of the building.

Upon stepping in he took off his sunglasses, hanging them on his shirt collar and to not loose them and made his way to the reception desk. He checked in and grabbed the keys to his room. 319. He hoped this room was nice and going by the lobby, he assumed it would be. He was not disappointed when he eventually arrived there either. Nice. Spacious and...two beds? Eugene paused at the doorway, slightly raising one brow. There was already suitcases at one of the beds already. He didn't know how to feel about that. Not that he wasn't social. He was pretty okay in that front. It was more that he had mentally prepared himself for staying alone...and this was sort of a change of plan.

Well. Whatever. He'd deal with that later. He shook his head as he left his stuff tidy on his own bed. He'd sort them later. For now he was heading to the concert hall. His green gaze drifted towards the cases for his instruments. Surely they had some in the concert hall. But he'd take his own with him. Even if they were only there for introductions. Messing around with some music while there wouldn't hurt, right? Good thing they were small enough to carry along.

He made his way to the concert hall. Already hearing music from one other rooms on the way past but then hearing it again when reaching the concert hall. A different flavour of playing for sure, but just a beautiful. He quietly opened the door and peeked in not to disturb the girl that was playing. His eyes then drifted away from the pianist and stopped at the sight of familiar brown curls. "Syl?" He quietly asked before he immediately grinned and fully stepped into the room "You got a letter too?" He asked as he made his way over to her, trying to talk low enough to not disturb the other girl.

Gabe looked out at the bustling city with glazed eyes as his thoughts flew from topic to topic like a boomerang. He had been specifically instructed not to disclose his participation in the programme to, quote-unquote, anyone. Which meant that, for the most part, he was left to mull over his thoughts and questions about it all on his own. Well… to be fair, that’s what he did all the time, but still. Enforced silence always feels way more suffocating than a voluntary one.

Of course, he wondered about the other participants the most. He was fairly sure Steven would be one of the chosen LMA students. Putting aside the fact that the older man had been looking like he was literally dying to tell him something ever since the day Gabe had received his own invitation letter, Steven was also one of the most talented musicians that he knew. Maybe it was just wishful thinking on his part since, being as reclusive as he tended to be, the event would be so much more comfortable and fun for him if his friends were also there. Still, Gabe had a pretty good feeling about this whole thing so far.

As the car stopped in front of the hotel’s grand entrance, Hans punched him lightly on the shoulder, snapping him out of his thoughts. He turned to his older brother with an arched brow as he straightened up in his seat, his hand already on the car door.

“Break a leg...or something,” the man drawled, his voice an odd mix of awkward and amused, earning himself a snort from Gabe as he stepped out.

“Yeah, sure,” he replied in the same tone. He was unused to being anything but sarcastic with Hans, who was possibly...no, definitely his closest sibling and so he added, with a slight laugh, “here’s hoping you don’t.”

With that and a small wave goodbye, he collected his luggage from the trunk and headed straight into the hotel. His guitar was slung over his shoulder, effectively drawing some eyes his way. His mood was sky high, now, though probably nobody could tell from his impassive face. He hoped it wouldn’t be going down when he met his roommate… or roommates — knock on wood, he thought, just one other guy would be bad enough. Or girl. Not that it mattered. He was equally concerned about being uncomfortably attracted to them while sleeping in the same room either way.

Here’s to the hope that they aren’t too pretty, he laughed to himself as he stepped into the elevator, fiddling with his room key. The whole place was rather elegantly decorated, much like most hotels he’d been to before. He pulled out his phone, wondering if he should ask Steven where he was now to check if his suspicions were correct.

Absorbed in his screen and confident in the knowledge that his room was quite a way down the corridor, he didn’t come to a stop until he saw a pair of legs enter his vision. Gabe blinked and looked up to see a man standing in the doorway of a room. His eyes travelled to the room number to double check and, indeed, it was room 318 — ie. his. So, was this his roommate? It didn’t seem like it, from how he was looking at someone else already inside. The man looked somewhat familiar but he couldn’t really put a finger to it, to Gabe’s confusion. He was usually quite good at remembering faces, as long as he’d talked to them before.

“Hi, excuse me,” he greeted politely, “this is my ro... “ He trailed off as his gaze landed on the person in the room and found an exceedingly familiar face. Oh, it’s Diana, his mind helpfully and cheerfully provided. He blinked. Silently, he picked up his phone again to look at the snapshot of the instruction paper. Room 318. He didn’t have it wrong. Another blink, this time as he glanced between the figure in the room and the man in front of him.

The only thing that left his lips, in such a deadpan tone that, oxymoronically, perfectly portrayed his shock, was: “Wow”.

[div class=subtitle]Mood: Elated Interactions: Diana DarkiusHeavenstein DarkiusHeavenstein Link MadiRaiCat MadiRaiCat Gabe OSWonder OSWonder Outfit: This But White Top and Necklace On[/div][/div] [div class="content"][div class=scroll] It was funny to think that it was just last week that Rosaline and Diana spent the night celebrating their coinciding, totally unexpected, reception of both of them getting their acceptance letters in the mail! Rosaline was opening her letter in the hallway when she heard Diana scream at the top of her lungs. When Rosa checked to see what was wrong, Diana was jumping for joy about being accepted. Rosa was of course happy for her best friend and supported her fully. She expected a denial and was pleasantly surprised when she saw the acceptance as well! It was an acknowledgment of one's talent and musical prowess to even be considered, let alone accepted and the amount of pride and honor the girls felt were off the charts. As was told by the amount of screaming, dancing, and drinking of wine they did throughout the night. They were so blinded by their literal jumping for joy that they didn't realize that they weren't supposed to tell anyone about it. Whoops, too late. They put a plan in place to make it seem like they had no idea about the other's acceptance that was full proof and prepared to see each other again next week after their individual travels.

The London Concert Building is a famous place that Rosa has had the honor of playing in a few times before, having proven her worth with the flute at LMA, but this was an entirely new opportunity. This annual program has been known to make people famous and jump start a life long career. Rosa was ready to embrace it to the fullest with Diana because the two of them were a power coupl- duo. A duo that plays music together. Focus. Rosa couldn't imagine doing anything major in her life without Diana by her side, she is too important to be away from. She could imagine how excited Diana was on the way to the hotel, probably clapping adorably because she didn't know what else to do with her bundled excitement. It's so cute to see. According to the plan, Rosa was to arrive a little later than Diana so no one would be suspicious. While watching building fly by out the car window, she received a text from DiDi telling her the hotel was magnificent, as told by the meme, and that she can't wait for them to hype again. Rosa giggled and quickly swiped her fingers across the screen to reply. Omg send pics! Hold your horses, I'll be there soon. You're the one who planned the time difference! It was only a 10 minute difference but still. Rosa was sure to spam Diana with a flurry of heart and kiss emojis after that last text. Together they were probably a lot to handle but hey, either get used to it or you're not worth their time. Rosa wouldn't mind having Diana all to herself anyway.

The cab finally stopped and Rosa quickly paid the driver, with tip, and hopped out of the car with a slight squee. Her heart was racing as she grabbed her rolling suitcase and bag that laid on top, then slinging her travel case for her flute over her one shoulder, along with her purse. It was a bit cumbersome but worth it! She couldn't wait to get inside, see her room and of course meet up with Diana so they could check out the concert room together.

Making her way inside and up the elevator, she couldn't help but remember that Diana mentioned encouraging her boyfriend, Link, to apply as well. Rosa finds Link to be a great guy. He's nice and everything, but he is the luckiest man alive currently to be able to claim Diana as his own. She couldn't help but be envious. The elevator door opened and Rosa made her way to her room, 317, throwing the door open to emptiness and lugging her things next to the bed closer to the closet since it was also closer to the bathroom. A roommate? She'll manage. If they were also selected they can't be too bad, right? She gently placed her flute on the bed on top of a pillow like the precious thing it is and checked her phone to see that she received another text from Diana a minute ago. Walking out of the room with her head down, Rosa giggled again as she replied. 'Bish I'm walking to your room right now let's go!' Followed by running emojis with the little smoke following behind. Their luck really couldn't have gotten better only being a room away from each other. Though when she looked up, she saw noe only one familiar face but two. Link and Gabe. In front of Diana's door. Her chest was overwhelmed with way too many mixed emotions of anger, jealousy, and joy at the sight of the men but she played it off surprised, as she had to. “Oh my gosh! You were accepted too?! It's so nice to see you here!” Rosa raised her voice a little to try to be louder than Diana's violin playing so she could hear and have some back up in this situation. “It'll be nice to have friendly faces and comfort!” What a way to have the good luck turn sour. Not only was Diana's current boyfriend here and outside her room but her ex was too! What kind of insanity were they living in? This was a pretty hefty, but still worthwhile, price to pay to be with Diana through this.

[div class=tag]outfit[/div] here. [/div] [/div] [/div] [div class=right] [div class=scroll] What if this was a prank? Oh god, she hoped not - but this all seemed too good to be true!

A letter? Telling her that she was actually good at music? When Meria first read it, she could barely contain her excitement and started jumping up and down like she was still a little girl in grade school. She instantly reached for her phone, ready to share the wonderful news with her parents, before remembering a certain line in the letter telling her to keep it a secret. Secrets… Meria was bad at those. Everything she wanted to say was always written on her face, whether she wanted it there or not. Her fear of losing her spot in the competition if someone were to find out, however, made it really easy for her to keep her mouth shut even when her face was open.

Meria flung herself at the taxi window, practically smushing her face against the glass to take in the view. “Oh my god,” she breathed, staring at the hotel in awe. Being here made everything seem more… real. This was actually happening. She was invited to perform in front of a group of people. Not her school. Her.

She hurried out the taxi so fast, she almost forgot to pay the driver. The second the receptionist gave her the key to her room, she dashed up the stairs - finding the elevator to be too slow - all while carrying her backpack full of clothing and her instrument case hugged to her chest.

Three flights later, she had finally gotten to room 315. Across from it, there was a small group of people, whom she had assumed were here for the same reason she was. Finally! She beamed to herself, people I can finally talk to about this! Excitedly, she had taken a step toward them, “Are you guys here for the event too?” She figured it was safe to assume so, considering they were in the same hotel on the same floor. If not, then, well… she would probably go retreat into her room in embarrassment. [/div] [/div] [/div] [/div]

chance conradie

Unlike the rest of the students, Chance wasn't freaking out at all about getting into LMA. Why wasn't he? Well, that's just because he never freaked out about anything, really. Sure, he was nervous after submitting the application in, but didn't dwell on it. And then when he opened the letter and saw that he got in, a huge wave of relief washed over him and he went to go let his parents know the news.

The days seemed to pass by terribly slow and then suddenly, without warning, picked up speed until he found himself en route to the airport, ready to start the new chapter of his life. Chance had packed all of the essentials; his clothes, guitars and bass, picks and extra strings. They had shipped his amps and cables to the school already so he wouldn't have to deal with it on the plane. And speaking of plane, he really needed to get to his so after tearful goodbyes, he set off for the gate that held the plane ready to take him from South Africa to London.

After spending twelve hours in the air, the plane finally touched down in London and Chance had never felt more relieved to see and be on the ground. If he didn't have to fly again he'd be just fine.

Half an hour later, he was in a taxi on his way to the location. Most people would use the time in the vehicle to gaze out the window and sightsee, but not Chance. He was so exhausted that he could barely keep his eyes open and dozed off, only to be woken sometime later by the driver announcing they were here. He got his luggage, paid the driver, and then walked up the steps.

Just as it had been in the cab, Chance barely paid attention to his surroundings and instead focused on putting one foot in front of the other. When he made it to the correct floor, he began looking at the number plaques on the wall, counting down the ones until he reached 317. Bingo.

Voices in the hall caught his attention and he turned, seeing other students mingling, but he had no desire to. Not yet, anyway. Chance pushed open the door and saw that his roommate dumped their stuff on a bed so he headed for the open bed, dropping his stuff at the end and then collapsing face first onto it. Time to take a 500 year nap.

Diana's smile had widened as she played, moving a bit through the room as she looked out of the window. London rushing by every now and then a cab stopping in front of it, yet she couldn't really make out who was getting out of the car. Though at times it was pretty obvious it were other musicians. There was a knock on the door and she glanced down at her phone on the bed. RoRo was quick, since her last text message was a whirlwind of hearts and kisses. She smiled as only than she realized someone said her name. A very familiar voice even. Lincoln was here? For a moment she froze, though the music went on undisturbed as she played the last notes. She should be overjoyed that her boyfriend was here as well, and she wasn't surprised. He was a very good musician and one of the best pianists she had ever played with, but still... She felt trapped. She had hoped to have this experience just with RoRo and not... Ugh, why couldn't he just be with his stupid family?

She lowered the bow as she skillfully tucked on her shoulder as she walked over to the door. Rosaline better hurried indeed! The phone on her bed buzzing, but she didn't check any of those messages as she pulled opened the door as she smiled brightly. She was still happy to see her boyfriend. However nothing, absolutely nothing prepared her for the second guy to be there. And not just some guy. No. Gabe. Out of all people on planet earth. Her heart doing a soft skip as for a moment she was just as flabbergasted and at loss for words as the male. Another talented musician. Even if he had gone down the other direction, he still was very very talented. And sexy playing the guitar. Though that was her best kept secret. Even RoRo didn't know about her sneaking off those rare moments to see him play. His presence was so overwhelming that she could hear Rosaline trying to save the situation, but it wasn't until the fourth and unfamiliar voice was thrown into the mix that she actually managed to pull out of the trance.

"Yes, yes," Diana answered, rather absentminded for a moment, before she looked up towards the female. Her eyes quickly darted over towards Rosaline for more help and back up. When had the ultimate music experience changed into a romantic chick flick drama? Because she sure as hell hadn't gotten the memo for that. Right. Okay. Time to act like a human and not some mute ghost. She should at least introduce the boys straight forward, else it would seem bad, right. "Hey love," she said as she leaned forward to Lincoln. She gave him a soft kiss on the cheek. "I am surprised to see you here, but at the same time not surprised at all," she chuckled. She lowered her violin from her shoulder so she could give him a more proper kiss. Though... it felt so wrong. It shouldn't feel like this, but damn it did.

Now onto Gabriel. "If you remember me, then I am sure you still remember Rosa, my partner in crime," she said with a loving smile towards the female. She moved over to the girl to give her a hug as well. They always did, just like walking hand and hand, stuff like that was all normal for them. They even shared a bed, or the couch, when one of them was to lazy to move to their own bed. Or well, just because they could. Or it was bad weather or cold or whatever. She always liked it when RoRo held her tight until morning and then complained about having to get up and not wanting to let her go. "This is Lincoln, my boyfriend," she continued, but damn did it feel like venom saying that now. "Perhaps you still remember him? Same goes for you, Link." She turned around in Rosalines arms and slowly moved away from her and back to her boyfriends side. "This is Gabriel Lowe, he followed the first year with us, before... he quit," she said softly. If Lincoln still remembered, then he also knew it was her ex. Their relationship had always been quite in the spotlights, for their age difference, but also the way they played so natural together.

Diana turned towards the newest and unfamiliar person. "Now that I have introduced everyone else, I am Diana, Gabriels ex," she spoke with a smile. Oh. Well, there it was. Out of all things she could have introduced herself as she had to chose that? Apparently. Oh she already hated this. She quickly let go of Lincoln, hopefully he would somehow take that information in a good way. She briskly walked over towards the bed so she could pack up the violin and somehow distance herself a bit from all this. "Now, whom of you will be my roommate?" She asked with a chuckle as she tried to somehow make the situation a bit lighter. But please... if the answer was Gabriel than... Well she wasn't really sure what was gonna happen than. Why couldn't RoRo just be her roommate?!

Millie heard the doors to the concert area open, but decided to ignore them for the moment. She wasn't exactly excited to meet the other musicians, let alone work with them for the entirety of the talent show. Though she played other instruments, Millie preferred the piano or the keyboard because it was majorly a soloist instrument. She didn't have to rely on anyone else for the music to sound complete and full. After a good chunk of her lifetime spent only relying on herself, Millie was reluctant to trust anyone else. Actually, maybe reluctant wasn't a strong enough word. Millie refused to trust anyone else, simple as that.

As the song came to a close, and Millie played the chord, she let the music ring out around the room. The acoustics were to die for, and she couldn't help the small smile that played on the corners of her lips. Realizing she had shown too much emotion, Millie immediately wiped the smile on her face and stood from the piano bench. She walked to the edge of the stage and sat down, her legs swinging beneath her. At first glance, she didn't recognize either of the two people that had entered the concert area. The guy was handsome, she'd give him that, with kind green eyes. He seemed like the type of guy to walk a girl home after a date and make sure she made it in the front door before leaving with a smile on his face. Too bad Millie wasn't the type of girl in that scenario.

The girl he was near was shockingly familiar, but Millie couldn't put a finger on where she knew her from. It wasn't until she overheard the guy call her Syl that everything came rushing back. Sylvia Di Maggio. Magi. Her childhood best friend. Millie had unintentionally forced herself to forget about Sylvia as she had moved away around a very traumatic time in Millie's life. The keyboardist had wondered for a while what happened to her friend after she left, but life went on and she moved on. Millie had changed a lot since then. Her hair was a lighter, her personality was darker. Her skin was thicker, even though her body was thinner. She dropped her chin to her chest, letting her hair hide her face. Millie would rather not deal with the emotions of re-meeting Sylvia, and hoped she didn't recognize her as well.

Lincoln couldn't really say he was surprised Diana was here. To be honest, he expected her to be. But when she hadn't mentioned it to him, he decided not to bring it up. They were instructed to keep it a secret sure. But he thought that she would have at least told him, her boyfriend. Link realized he was being hypocritical. He hadn't told her about his acceptance either. But he didn't have time to dwell on the matter before another voice spoke up from behind him. The pianist turned to look at the guy, moving slightly out of the doorway so that he could enter the room. He was probably Diana's roommate. Something about him struck Link as familiar, but for a moment he couldn't place where he knew him from. Based on the look on the other man's face, he seemed to recognize Lincoln as well. Maybe he was from RAM too, and they had a class together or something?

Whoever he was, he definitely knew Diana, which was plain to see from slightly shocked expression and unimpressed "Wow." Before Lincoln could introduce himself and ask how the guy knew Diana, another member joined their hallway pow-wow. At least it was a familiar, friendly face in Rosaline, Diana's best friend and partner in crime. Link grinned at Rosa, raising his hand in a slight wave. "I can't say I'm surprised to see you here, Rosaline. I'm sure Diana will be ecstatic to see you," he replied politely. Link and Rosa weren't exactly friends per se, more like acquaintances due to both of their relationships with Diana. Nevertheless, he liked her. She was fun, outgoing, and an amazing flute player. She would definitely be an important piece in this talent showcase puzzle.

At that moment, it was as if a light bulb went off above Link's head. The guy had to be Gabriel Lowe, Diana's guitarist ex-boyfriend that left RMA to join LAM. Diana had told Lincoln a little bit about him during their time together. Link wasn't a jealous guy as he didn't find jealousy attractive and didn't want anyone to look down on him for being that way. However, he was still protective. From what he did know, Gabriel wasn't exactly the best of influences in the world. So, the fact that he was rooming with Diana made Link a bit uncomfortable. Deciding it would probably be best to talk to Diana about it alone later, Lincoln let the matter go. The cheerful voice of a brunette girl with curly hair pulled him from his thoughts. "Yes, actually, I think we all are. I'm Lincoln, nice to meet you," he replied to the girl, offering her a polite smile.

Link turned as the door to Diana's room was pulled open, revealing the sweet smile of his girlfriend behind it. He easily returned her smile, leaning in to kiss her back. It was quick, and lacked a certain spark that had been there towards the beginning of their relationship. Lincoln had noticed the decline in chemistry, but had ultimately said nothing. Diana was ambitious and talented, and his parents absolutely adored her. He didn't want to disappoint them. As she introduced him to Gabe, Link nodded at the guitarist in greeting. "Yeah, I remember you from RAM. Nice to see you again." He wasn't actually sure how true the latter sentence was, but was too polite and respectful to say otherwise. Instead, he shook his head in response to Diana's later question, communicating that he wasn't her roommate for the time being. Which, to be honest, was probably a good thing.

"Syl?" She heard her name being called and was greeted by the familiar pair of brown eyes. She wanted to squeal in delight at seeing her best friend, Eugene. A wonderful musician and an even wonderful friend at that. They had first met in summer classes that RAM offered way back before they started studying in their very school. They bonded during that time sure but it wasn't until they saw each other as actual students in one of the most well-known schools did they become the friends that they are now, of course she expected her friend to be here even if there are many great musicians in RAM. "I didn't think that I'd get in, honestly." She said with a sheepish grin, Syl has often struggled with her insecurity, something that has led her to avoid situations she is capable of handling and yet she believes she doesn't, most of the time.

"But I am so happy that I did, at the same time... I'm also scared." She said in a whisper, telling Eugene how she lied to her family to get here because she knows that they would never agree to this sort of thing. Ever the traditionalist. Her family believes that music nowadays is tainted, and would be a bad influence for her. While she does love classical music, she loves all genres and had always dreamed of composing lyrical songs and orchestrations. "Have you met your roommate? I wish you were my roommate so that things wouldn't be seem so awkward." A pout came out of her face, "I am happy that we get to be a part of this. Imagine the kind of things we'll be doing. It gets me so excited." At this point her eyes were shining in wonder and due to her momentary, quiet, hyperactivity, her daydreams of events filled with music and all-around fun but things were never that good.

The song has ended. Truly a wonderful rendition of a beautifully crafted song. Syl watched the pianist as she went to the edge of the stage. Familiar. It was all she could think of as she stared at the features of the blonde woman. The word repeated around her head, nagging at her. The blonde woman wasn't familiar to her, and it became harder to figure out since she hid her face. Sylvia couldn't help but scratch her head, it's not like she knew that many female blondes in all her life. There was this schoolmate named Rosa, Lyndel, Antoinette, and... Star.

There was suddenly this weight over her shoulders, it felt as if her heart leaped to her throat, she could hear her own heart beat. Mildred Stark, it's been so long, too long for Syl. Eight years more or less since she moved to Europe, since she left without saying goodbye. She was filled with guilt, she hated that she had to leave her best friend, her family disliked Star a lot but Syl didn't care. She tried to make contact, sent letters and told her mom to give it to her friend but at the very same time, her mom never contacted them since they left. She felt alone at the time, and she felt as if maybe they weren't meant to be friends at all. This was too much, her breathing has become heavier than it was before. But she had to face it.

She got up, her curled hair bounced at the shift in position. Made her way to her friend or maybe former friend was the right word for it. "Sta-Stark? Mildred Stark it that really you?" The shorter gave a sweet smile with guilt ridden eyes. She wanted to apologize, but it was eight years overdue. "It's so nice to see you!" She asked Mildred how she's been, with the blonde saying everything was fine and all good. Is what she wanted to happen but daydreaming was nothing like reality.

A sigh escaped from her lips. If only things were as easy as her daydreams. She gets it. Mildred hid her face because she didn't want to be recognized. She bit her lip, holding tight to her left wrist that was covered by the long sleeve of her sweatshirt, it was clear that her old friend didn't want to interact with her but one day they will have too. She never really thought she'd see her again, the world sure has a way of surprising you. After taking a deep breath to calm herself, she looked to Eugene once again. "How long do you think the others are gonna take?"

Your first love. The ex-girlfriend who dumped you and consequently kind of highkey crushed your heart. Your new roommate. Any two of those things were absolutely terrible together on the same person. Yet, here was Dia, all three. And somehow not being quite terrible enough.

He stared a little dumbly as familiar faces appeared in front of him one after another. Some small part of Gabe wanted to laugh out loud — he’d been nervous about being stuck with random strangers for days and now it looked like… well, clearly, like he really shouldn’t have been.

It was only when Dia walked out and gave the guy in front of him a kiss on the cheek that he snapped out of it. An intense feeling of awkwardness rose in Gabe that he forcefully pushed away, staring squarely at Rosaline instead of his apparent roommate, while clearing his throat.

“Yeah, hey, nice to see you again,” he greeted softly, adjusting the bag hanging from his shoulder, “it’s been a while, huh?”

His gaze travelled to Meria, the only acquaintance of his among the lot that he wasn’t at all distressed to see, and shot her a half-smile. His face turned impassive again as Dia started to introduce everyone, really not wanting to let the weird connection that they shared come to light right then. Thankfully, she only mentioned that they used to go to the same school, something Meria already knew. Relieved, he decided to finally speak up and...

And I’m Diana, Gabriel’s ex.

He froze. He opened his mouth. And closed it again. Why’d you say that? He wanted to question it but was stopped by the fact that it meant talking to Diana and that really needed more mental preparation than he had time for. In the end, he resolutely held his tongue and silently pulled his luggage into the room, trailing behind Dia who headed to her bed. He let it lie against the wall right beside the door then shrugged his bag off and placed it lightly on top. He did it so casually and quickly that anyone would have thought he was perfectly calm… if only his face wasn’t set as stiff as a marble statue.

“Me,” he replied to Dia’s question curtly, sounding annoyed where he was really just screaming inside. Grabbing his valuables, he kept his eyes trained carefully off the girl as he continued with, “I’m going to head out to the concert hall, so…”

“See you guys around, then?” He greeted questioningly, internally cursing himself for being so damned awkward.

Meria gave a polite smile as she shifted her weight onto her right leg. The tension from the group absorbed her, despite Meria having no clue what was really going on. Should she just pretend she never said anything and leave?

A tall man wearing a blazer spoke up and introduced himself. “Nice to meet you too. I’m Meria,” she chirped, her voice still energetic. She turned towards the girl standing at the doorframe, who then decided to introduce everyone in the group herself, including a familiar acquaintance. Wait, if Gabe knows them, does that mean…? Her eyes fell down to Diana’s violin. Oh. Oh.

Meria’s smile never left her face, but her eyes displayed a small look of disgust. She always knew, but it was even more clear to Meria now that Gabe dodged a bullet leaving RAM. All the students there are… psycho. Like, who the hell introduces someone as their ex?

Meria glanced over to Gabe and tossed him a sympathetic look. She wanted to come up with an excuse to help him leave whatever Telenovela these guys seemed to be on but figured it would be pointless considering the crazy chick was his roommate. Thankfully, Gabe ended up finding his own exit.

“Mmhmm, see you later, Gabe.” She then looked at the couple and cleared her throat, “I’ll… go to my room now.” Meria nodded to the man in farewell. “Lincoln... “ She then stared at Diana, her eyebrows furrowed slightly, “...Gabe’s ex.” Meria spun around on her heel, still hugging her synthesizer’s case tightly, as she hurried into room 315.

She quickly shut the door and dropped all her stuff onto the nearby couch with a sigh. “Fun start,” she mumbled. RAM always had to ruin everything. Why'd they have to be here too? Meria decided to head down to the concert room in a few minutes, wanting to wait for the hallway to clear so she wouldn't walk past the couple again. [/div] [/div] [/div] [/div]

His expression held when Syl had grinned back at him. The two had been friends before but were stuck like glue since they had meet again after joining RAM. She had a great sense of humor and Eugene always had a good time with her around so he was more than thrilled to see her in the concert hall right now. Hearing her say she thought she wouldn't get in he raised his brows. This wasn't a surprising comment coming from Syl. A talented musician probably one of the highest in the class and she always seemed to shove herself down the list. He wouldn't let her get away with it though "What? Are you daft? I'm not one bit surprised you're here. I mean if they picked me then of course you'd be here. And picked before me too I bet" He quickly retorted to her self put down. Her next words caught him however. Her parents didnt know just so she could come here? She was a grown woman. It was none of their business old fashioned or not. He found himself frowning at the thought but corrected himself, looking to Sly as he gave her a gentle pat on the shoulder "I'm glad you didnt throw this away over it...If it helps I can tell your folks that it was definitely extra brass class if they ask?" He offered in an attempt to ease her concerns.

He watched as the blonde girl that had been filling the concert hall with her music had finished her piece and stood away from her instrument. It was almost a shame that the graceful sound that matched her looks was fading out now, but at least with that he could compliment her on her talents. Though before he could she had hung her head low and marched right past them. Leaving the young man opening his mouth to speak but having to close it again before any words came out. Huh...okay then. Not a talker. That was fine he guessed.

He had caught Syl's slight change in mood and her seemingly spacing into her thoughts for whatever reason... She was pulling at her wrist and her sleeve. It was subtle but he had caught it. She seemed to collect herself though. In answer to her question he offered a smile and shuffled himself to be a little closer to his friend but also to peek out the door.
"Hopefully soon. I dont know about you but I've been really impatient wondering who else from our school will be joining us" he answered honestly. He didn't comment on on her sigh or how she suddenly seemed a bit less comfortable now. Maybe it was just the lying to her parents that unsettled her. He was sure if it wasn't that she'd let him know what it actually was eventually.

Of course he could tell it was Diana's violin playing through the wall but Rosa knew she had to play it off with a giggle. “I knew that music sounded too familiar! Oh my gosh same, I can't wait to see her!” Rosa felt like she was doing great, she could totally have a career in acting if this music thing didn't work out. That thought was quickly thrown away in her mind, there was no way she would entertain another career choice if Diana wasn't part of it.

A cute friendly girl approached the group right before Didi had opened the door asking if everyone was here for the amazing opportunity. This was one way to meet a few of her musical peers and honestly Rosa would have been much happier if the boys were not part of the mix, even if their talent qualified them to be here just as much as hers did. Not only did she now have to share Didi but this entire experience just went from the most exciting to a stressful chaotic mess. Rosa went to answer the girl at the same time Didi did, “Yes we are!” The overlap of their answer was just as tense as Rosa's eyes must have shown. This was not an enjoyable situation but she was determined to get them out of it.

The sound of the door behind her made her turn around to see the last fleeting moment of what she guessed was the arrival of her roommate. Who evidently didn't want to speak with everyone. Great... But there were more pressing matters at hand, the necessary escape! When Rosa turned around her sky blue eyes met with Didi's blue green irises as they silently conversed about the severity of the situation they found themselves in. Rosa raised her eyebrow at her beloved...FRIEND to try to put her at ease and let her know they would get out of this.

Rosa tried to keep a small polite smile on her face as Didi took initiative to speak once she had processed the situation. That smile swiftly disappeared and reappeared as she watched Diana lean in to kiss Lincoln but only kiss his cheek. The intense beating of Rosa's heart had momentary relief at that sight but only was jump started again when she watched Diana give her current partner a full kiss. Lucky piece of-No! No she's happy let her be happy. The feelings were so difficult to suppress but Rosa knew she had to do it for Diana's sake. To avoid watching the action in front of her, she looked away from the two and happened to notice that Gabe was staring her directly in the eyes. That was incredibly discomforting. He mumbled something but Rosa couldn't hear it since that was when Didi introduced her. Rosa's face instantly lifted into a bright affectionate smile as she wrapped her arms around her best friend and squeezed tightly, resulting in her letting out a small purr that signified how much effort she was putting into the hug and how happy she was to see her friend here. It was always so disappointing to have to let Diana go but the moments Rosa could have Didi in her arms were the absolute best. Didi also loved to cuddle and there really was no feeling like being able to spend the night with Didi in her arms. Alas, the moment for the hug passed and she had to let Diana get back to it.

Diana continued speaking to introduce Lincoln and Gabe. Reminding the group that Gabe was a filthy traitor. How could Rosa have forgotten? It was definitely just the heat of the moment. That boy is the first in history to willingly trade schools and give LMA a bad name. Now Rosa remembered why that bad seed was so hated. At least, on top of being a trouble maker. Note to self. Keep him away from Didi. That would now be her side mission. Finally Diana went to introduce herself and ended up saying that she was Gabe's ex. What in the world possessed her to give herself that title?! Rosa's eyes filled with shock as Diana entered her room again. Rosa tried to make it playful and forced a small laugh. “I think that was very thorough! She's also super funny and talented.” Rosa wanted to add that in so the stranger wouldn't only think of Diana as 'the ex' and to maybe get the boys' minds off of the comment. Gabe looked like he was frozen in place after he heard her words and Rosa tried to do what she could.

Diana returned, exiting her room, and asking who her roommate was. Gabe silently entered it and put his things down with some weird looking super focus. He then answered her question as he made his way to the concert hall. Internal screaming is not an accurate enough phrase to describe what Rosa was feeling at that point in time. A more accurate description would be internal: fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckkkkk! How could things get worse? Diana is rooming with her EX-BOYFRIEND! GAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Calm... stay calm. She's probably just as upset about it.

The girl, Meria, was clearly not enjoying the company of the current group. Her face was polite but her eyes were darting around with distaste and sympathy. The girl definitely showed up at a bad time but if she held contempt for the school then she had another thing coming. No need to be rude off the bat. Rosa would give her another chance, though, seeing as this hullabaloo was a mess and would make anyone uncomfortable. At least, until the girl explicitly said farewell to everyone but her. Wow. Rude much? Whatever. This was her chance.

She snaked her hand around Diana's elbow to link their arms and pulled her toward the elevator. They would have at least some privacy in there for a minute or two. “We'll see you all down at the concert room! Everyone should be there soon!” Which was true since everyone was expected to be present by the designated time of 1pm (1300). Sadly the girls wouldn't have much time to themselves to fully talk this absolute cluster fuck through. It would happen later, for sure. Rosa pulled Diana along and called for the elevator, guiding her inside once the doors opened and pressing the 'shut doors' button to hurry it up and keep them alone.

Once the doors shut she turned and squeezed Diana in a hug again. “What an absolute mess! Didi I am so sorry this is happening! I'll ask if we can be roommates or something! This is in!sane!” The built up energy from the tense situation was pouring out of Rosa right now. She didn't know what to do to fix this. Letting go of Diana, she leaned back against the wall to give Diana the floor for the rest of the ride.

Without the hat!
Honestly the Violinist felt like disappearing into the ground. She would absolutely love it if the earth could just swallow her up, right this instance. Yet none of that happened, so she would just have to soldier on through this mess that was created. This was suppose to be a music experience! Not some bad romantic teenage drama series. She absolutely adored RoRo for trying to save the situation or whatever was left of it with her big mistake. Out of all introduction why had her mouth decided to go with that?! The mistake was so obviously throw back into her face by the female as she used everyones first name, except hers. And was it just her or did that expression of the girl even sour down more when refering towards her relationship status towards the guitarist? IF this situation hadn't been such a mess already she would have given her the most charming smile and overly friendly 'see you later' ever, but no. She had enough to deal with at the moment.

One of those things being that Gabriel was indeed her roommate. HOW WAS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?! What were the freaking odds to be paired up with her ex, while her boyfriend was just around the corner. Oh with this luck, Lincoln had probably the room next to her and shared it with some bloody hot chick. Not that she was the jealous type or worried that Lincoln would do anything with that. Not even with their relationship cooling down. He was a good guy and a very loyal guy. Which was not making this whole situation much easier. If he could just be an asshole... It would be so much easier to dump him or pull the plug. But nothing was wrong. With him. WIth her. With them. They had a perfect relationship. They never fought. Sure, they had some disagreements, but... nothing major. The spark had just died. Something that was evident with his lack of reaction to this whole situation. She had not expected him to be angry or make a big deal out of it, but at least... something?

She closed the clips on her violin case just when Rosalines hand slithered around her arm. She smiled up towards her best friend and knight in shining armor as she was pulled from her own thoughts and literally tugged away from the scene. Though it had already seemed to dissolve itself. Though she would run into Gabe sooner or later again. "See you in a bit, Link!" She called out towards her boyfriend, while blowing him a quick kiss. She made no effort to pull him along or ask RoRo to wait for him. Honestly she needed that elevator ride in private. She managed to contain herself long enough for those doors to close and those arms to pull her in. "OHHHHHHHH MYYYYYY GODDDDDDDDDDD!" She let out an exasperated cry as all that tension came out. This ride was not long enough to let it all out. "RoRO! WHAT the FUCK is this? Why is GABE here? I mean he is very talented. BUT IN MY ROOM! IN MY FUCKING ROOM! UGHHHH." Her nose crunched as the elevator already dinged to indicate they were at the first floor and she hadn't even started her whole rant. "Out of all people! GABE!" She lowered her voice though and switched to making some weird noises and hand gestures.

"Did you notice Links reaction? Nothing! Absolutely nothing!" Diana started to sprout her frustrations with her boyfriends reaction. She glanced a bit around to make sure he wasn't walking behind her. "You are allowed to be a tad bit possessive with exes around! He didn't even hold me close!" She rolled her eyes. "And that girl! Damn she was stingy. She completely ignored you! She is so gonna go on the black list." The blonde shook her head in slight disbelieve over the rude behaviour. And the way that girl had looked at her with an expression as if she had bitten into a lime. "I cannot believe the let LMA-students into this thing. I thought they were looking for talent," she said with a scoff. This time not caring at all for who would hear her. Gabe obviously was an exception to it all. He was an amazing musician. Both with classical and modern music. Her complaining made the whole walk from the elvator to the concert room go by in no time. Her frustration making her walk faster than normal. Hopefully she would be able to play normally with her emotions running up so high, she really needed to calm down or change the piece she was gonna play. So that was probably gonna be the later. "I still cannot believe that GABE is here," she started again. Though at the same time it was no surprise at all. RoRo knew to just let her go on these little rants, she just needed it out of her system and then she'd be fine.

But for now it was time to pull herself together again as they walked into the concert room and would truly meet all the others that were part of this experience. "Gabe!" She couldn't help but to once more repeat that name in a desperate hitching squeak tone. She just couldn't get over that. Her eyes quickly went through the room, since the guitarist had left before them, so he should be somewhere around. Last thing she wanted was him hearing her sound like a broken record with his name on repeat. "By the way, how the hell did he get even more attractive?!" she asked Rosaline as she clung a bit to her arm, "things like that should not be allowed. Exes are supposed to be ugly after you break up!" It was bad she was looking at that. She sighed as she shook her head. "Seriously, if there is another ex here, I am gonna turn around and drive home... I am so done... so done," she spoke, while walking to the stage where the other people seemed to be. Her grin widening when she noticed Sylvia and Eugene already there. "Silly Willy! And Generous Genie!" Happy for any distraction from the situation that had been going on upstairs she walked up towards them. "So nice to see you two here together," she said with a grin and a playful wink. Though of course she was only joking with that intonation. She looked a bit towards the other people, but none she knew so she didn't pay them much mind.

Millie sat there for a moment, pushing all the thoughts and memories of her childhood friend to the back of her mind. Those were things she hadn't thought about in a long time, and she wasn't about to start. The idle chatter of the room was quiet, but enough to distract her from the feelings that threatened to bubble up from deep down inside. She didn't really focus on the words as much as the sound. After a while of calming her racing heart and heavier breathing, Millie lifted her head again, a stoic and apathetic expression on her face.

Millie looked around the room, waiting for anyone else to join them. Unfortunately, her wishes were answered by more members from RAM. Millie sighed, running a hand through her blonde hair. The last thing she wan't was to interact with condescending jerks who though they were better than her just because they went to a school with 'royal' in the name. One girl called out to Syl and the guy she was with, a playful tone in her voice as she mentioned the guy and Syl being 'together.' Millie couldn't help but roll her eyes. She knew the statement would go over Magi's oblivious head. Letting out a sigh, Millie leaned back on her hands, swinging her legs as they hung off the side of the stage.

Lincoln shifted out of the way Gabe moved his things into the room Diana was already occupying. The movements were a little stiff, but Link didn't really seem to notice. As far as he knew, there was little bad blood between Diana and Gabriel, and he really had nothing to worry about. As soon as Gabriel was there, he was gone, heading down to the concert hall wherever that happened to be. There was a little bit of awkwardness in his motions, but Link just attributed that to his personality. Meria was next to leave, to whom Link offered a small wave and grinned. "It was nice meeting you."

Then there were three. Rosaline grabbed Diana and pulled her back into the room. "Alright, I'll meet you two down there. See you in a bit, love," Link said, offering a smile and a wave to Diana. It felt slightly hollow, as if there wasn't a whole lot of feeling behind the smile. As if the action was more of a courtesy rather than because of their relationship. After the door shut, Lincoln turned and walked down the hallway towards the concert hall. He entered at the back, keeping more to himself as he waited for the day to start.

She couldn't help but give a small giggle when Eugene had asked her if she was daft. She barely hears that word being said with the Millenials nowadays so it was a surprise that came out in the form of laughter. Never the less, she always appreciates Eugene's opinions about her and anything as she holds her friend's word with trust. She let out a small thank you. For the compliment and the offer to help her out. He is easily one of her favorite people in the world and has seen him as that very supportive and caring brother everyone needs.

Though the realization of Mildred being the pianist from earlier has shifted her mood, she shouldn't let that make her sad all throughout the day. Although, it did bring back feelings that she tried to bury deep down. Her best friend had mentioned how excited he was to know who else got in, she could take a guess. Possibly the golden trio, hopefully not. They're okay people but Diana's teasing isn't as subtle as her schoolmate seems to think, although Sylvia does act oblivious about it.

"Silly Willy! And Generous Genie!" She heard from behind by an oh so familiar voice, with the best friend trailing from behind. "So nice to see you two here together." And there it was, the teasing. At this point, Syl has started to be a second player to her game of teasing and this she knows the Rosa thinks of Diana as more than a friend. Call it gut feeling, besides it's kinda obvious the way the flutist looks at the violinist. "Dia and Rox! It's so nice to see the two of you together too." She commented with a playful voice and raised her brows for half a second while looking at Rosa. She nudged Eugene softly with her elbow in hopes of him going along, truthfully she was thankful for the distraction but her mind still flutters to the blonde pianist by the stage. "Guess we'll be seeing you tear the stage as the power duo that you are huh?"

It was Diana who was the true oblivious one in the room seeing as how she fails to realize how her best friend felt about her all these years. Or maybe she does know and has no want to acknowledge it. It was none of Syl's business though, she didn't want to be involved in whatever love shape they had. While the conversation continued, Syl's eyes flit back and forth from her friends and to the stage, if she and Star happened to lock eyes she'd give a small smile, albeit one of sadness even if that isn't the emotion she wanted to go for. And if her schoolmates came to notice the exchange her answer would be, "We just happened to lock eyes, seemed rude to just stare." and if they didn't then there is nothing to say.

"I'm getting really anxious, guys. It's almost one! I wonder what we're gonna do for introductions? Do we show off our respective skills with our main instruments or do we go crazy and surprise everyone? I just hope we don't get some boring old speech then they'd let us settle in." She said brimming with excitement, like how a child gets a new toy wondering if everyone else is just as anxious.

Getting a giggle and a small thank you from Syl, Eugene wore a satisfied grin. Glad he could pull his friend out of her funk even if it was just a little bit and if it was partly because he sometimes talked like what some would describe as a posh old man then so be it. He knew Syl well enough to know that she was the kind to have her confidence falter in a split second and normally if he could prevent it or at the very least lessen the blow then he would.

He paused upon hearing a familiar voice call him "Generous Genie". There was only one person that would call him something like that and it was no surprise that she was here either. Diana, again was one of the most talented in their year as was Rosaline. "Diana! Rosa! Was thinking I'd see you two here." He didn't catch onto the comment Diana had made at first, about to give an oblivious answer along the lines of "I know right?" but before he did, Syl had answered ahead of him paired with an elbow to the the side. Her answer was what caught him onto the the meaning "Oh, yeah definitely." he agreed with her joke with a knowing smile. Not adding anything further since Syl had pretty much nailed it.

While sometimes Diana's teasing did go over his head he did catch it most of the time. He never acted on it though. He loved Syl to bits but...Syl was like...a sibling to him at this point not a girlfriend candidate. That kind of relationship could throw the dynamic they had off balance and he didn't think he'd want the solid friendship they had crumble like that. So in that respect he didnt understand why other people had the need to time of it being anything more. Whatever, it was easily dismissed. Whatever kept people entertained he guessed.

Eugene shrugged his shoulders at Syl's words, yeah she was anxious about the group meeting but she was clearly anxious about something else still. He still wouldn't comment on it right now though but he was watching for sure "I'm hoping we get to go wild with our instruments. After making me sit in a Taxi all morning I'd be pretty pissed if it's just guy having the "Tell one interesting thing about yourself" spiel. I swear I forget who I am for a split second when it's my turn in one of those" he pulled a face after his answer shaking his head "But hey, either way it's not long until we find out and itll be fine. I wonder if the others are on their way yet." he said with a quick glance towards the doorway.
