"What's up girl?" I greet Winter at our usual spot by the lockers. I don't know where the hell Della is. I saw her in my brother's room earlier but not since then. Hopefully Lynx woke her up, I know how he likes to just stay in bed all day.


Ugh, my head is seriously killing me. I can't believe I even got up this morning but I actually take school serious, unlike some people. I wanna go to college and get away from this small ass town, but it's not like my family has the money so I don't even know how that's gonna happen. Anyways, I dress pretty normal when I come to this hellhole everyday: jeans, tank top, and converses. I mean, it's not like there's anyone around here to impress.


"And I can't fucking pierce ears!" I suddenly shriek at Winter, referring to her text I got earlier. "Why don't we just go to the shop after school? I want a tongue ring," I wink. Then suddenly I spot a big dark bruise on her neck. "Oh my God, Winter!! Is that a hickie?! I knew I saw you all up on Miles last night," I say with a sly grin.

I laugh at Lola, me and her have been close since forever really. "Ok sure, going to the shop sounds cool, and yea me and Miles got to know each other pretty well last night." I nudged Lola lightly with a wink. "Honestly I don't know if he will talk to me ever again though cause I think he discovered who my brother is" I rolled my eyes, my brother wasn't too intimidating usually but when it came to me he was a bit crazy.

"So I saw Del leaving with Lynx last night, no offense to your brother but he's really starting to piss me off" I grabbed my books and close my locker door.

I managed to get the block surrounding the engine off - now we're getting somewhere. Asshole manufacturers don't like their customers messing with the engines, but I wasn't their customer and I was looking to make a few bills for this car so I had to see exactly what was under the hood. Couldn't go getting ripped off when I sold it to the scrappers. "Shit," I thought to myself taking another drag of my cig, "I need to grab some clean plates or I'll get busted taking it to the shop."





Just then I heard a familiar voice from behind me asking me if I was going to school. I pushed myself off the car and turned around to see that cute Russian who kept apologizing at the party last night. I knew I looked like a mess but I wasn't about to get grease in my hair. Before I knew it she took the spanner from my hand and tightened a nut I had overlooked.


"Thanks," I chuckled out of surprise - I would never have guess she knew her way around an engine. I took the spanner back as she handed it to me, "I might show up to school a little later, but I got some things to finish up here before I can be bothered with that crap." I smiled at her. She was really pretty, "You got a little something..." I said taking the cloth from my back pocket and gently wiping the bit of oil she had gotten on her face.

Wow, it was sad. I literally had nothing better to do than walk around the school like five times while everyone met up with their friends. Where was the gang? I sure as hell didn't know. Maybe I should have skipped work yesterday to go to a party so I could skip school. Seems logical. Only school didn't pay me for coming. It made me feel like shit. I was like a rain cloud; moping along and thinking about all the depressing things school had to offer. But rain clouds like to rain on others right?

And there he was, my perfect victim. I'd seen Jin around before and he always seemed so quiet. I walked over to him and spoke, "Yo, Jin. Been gone for a while huh?" I said, attempting to make conversation. Okay, so I wasn't exactly ruining his day like a rain cloud would but I hovered over him as he walked, waiting to make conversation... that was close enough right?​

As I heard the squeal of tires on the ground and the sound of my own scream, I stumbled backwards and onto the hard road, scraping the crap out of my palms. I just laid there in the road for a few seconds, trying to control my rapid breathing, before the driver of the car came out. Ack-of course I nearly got hit by a sex god. Just my friggin luck. He helped me up and started launching a bunch rapid fire questions at me which I took moment to answer. Taking a deep breath, I'd look up at the man yet I had to tilt my head up cause he towered over me. "Oh-oh God...I'm so sorry ! Shit, I didn't mean too and I really wanted that coffee but I didn't want to be la-I'm rambling now aren't I ? I'm totally fine, really, but I'll be fucked if I don't get to class, like right now ! "


. Pulling away from the tall cutie, I placed my hands on my hips and gave him a small glare, "Yes, I know how to cross a road ! I'll have you know that I've never been hit by a car before".


Screwing my cherry lips in a coy smile, I'd introduce myself. If I nearly ran into his car, he should know my name, right ? "I'm Blue, Blue Sevengy. I' d say nice to meet you but the circumstance don't exactly fit"

After getting my coffee I pulled up to the school and got out. Putting my car keys into my shoulder bag I sip my caramel and chocolate frape as I walk into the building, not knowing anyone and coming to a new school this late in the year was gonna be hard for me since everyone already had friends and their own little groups. Pulling my phone out my pocket I looked at my schedule as I walked not really looking where I was going.​

I smiled at the boy, he looked so surprised "I was a mechanic back in Russia" I explained then taking a sip of my drink from the straw. My heart skipped a beat when he came closer to me and wiped the grease off my face. I stared deep into his beautiful grey eyes. I had a soft smile on my face as I felt the warm embrace of his boy. Without moving my head away from him. I used my free hand a closed the hood of his car "Fuck school..." I muttered "Can I stay here?" I asked "Why bother going to school when everyone thinks your some sort of alien from a different planet and half of the time can't understand you because of your accent!" I exclaimed then finished my drink. I noticed a open wheelie bin and aimed my empty cup into the bin and lands in the bin with a thump and without touching the sides of the bin "Score!" I finally drag myself to school and immediately spot Miles and Axel in the parking lot. "Whats up punks," I greet them, dapping them up. "Axel, where the fuck you been man?" I question. I noticed he wasn't at the party last night and that motherfucker never misses a party. He tells me about the whole situation, him getting locked up and Winter not coming through with the bail money. Yeah, probably cuz she was too busy with her tongue down Miles' throat. But I don't say that out loud, just tell them I'll see them later. I walk in the building, make a couple sales, and then I notice some mixed looking chick wandering around like she's lost. She must be new. I know when there's somebody new in this school, especially if it's a cute girl. "You look lost, sweetheart," I say, sliding up next to her, grinning. I snatch her schedule out her hands. "What's your first class?"

"Ughhhh, fuck me" I groaned softly, tapping the snooze button on my alarm clock. I hadn't gotten any damn sleep last night, since I stayed up studying for my calculus test. Fucking calculus, why the fuck would I ever need it? Half asleep,I stood up, for a moment just blankly staring at my door. I hesitantly trudged over to the bathroom, and brushed my teeth, afterwards splashing ice cold water on my face to wake me up. Maybe I should skip school today. I'm way too fucking tired. I'll probably fail that stupid quiz anyways. Fuck it, I'll just go. I finished the rest of my morning routine, skipping breakfast, and drove to school.


It was a fucking miracle, that I arrived to school. With the help of the coffee that I managed to stop by and grab at the local Dunkin Donuts. When I entered the school, I was immediatly pissed, for no goddamn reason, probably due to my lack of sleep obviously. I walked over to my locker, and automatically saw Morgan, talking to some guy which I soon came to realize was Jay.


"Shit, I need some advil," I interrupted, leaning on Morgan's shoulder. "I didn't get any fucking sleep last night, I'm so damn tired," I said, facing Jay.

I pulled the earbuds out of my ears and looked at the familiar guy. Conner. "Yeah, three months" I said and looked at him slightly. "How have you been? Have any fun last night?" I ask in a bored tone as I stare at him easily. He was cool, but we didn't talk too much. After all we hadn't had much time to get to know each other. Though I figured it would be nice to actually have a friend here. Or someone close to one. I twisted my black gauges slightly and looked at the sky. "Whoa, gloomy" I stated and noticed all the new students. It was pretty weird for me already. I felt like it was going to be a long day. I just didn't want to get pissed off. Though Conner didn't seem like the guy who liked to piss others off since that would most likely end in some sort of fight

I ran my hand back through my hair and looked at the short blonde who was now named Blue. She had attitude and it was something that I liked. Of course I couldn't miss Blue's coy grin. Blue, who the fuck would name their kid that. But I couldn't lie, it actually fit her. "Jace Adams. Nice to meet you Blueberry" I said with a smirk and held out my hand. I looked at hers with a curious expression, but then shook my head. "Want me to take you to school? Or do you want to risk crossing the road?" I asked and showed my usual smile. My eyes still holding concern as I looked her over. She certainly was pretty. Fuck, obviously she's not legal. After all she's still in school. Oh God what if she was in middle school. "Well love, I didn't mean to almost hit you" My heavy New Zealand accent making my words sound a bit different compared to her. Blue, she was shorter than me and normally I didn't go for blondes. I felt they were stereotypical and I hate being mainstream. Licking my lips in thought, I casually looked her over again. The way her straight hair brushed her just below shoulder softly, her brown eyes were just gorgeous. Don't even get me started on her lips. Taking a step back, I cleared my throat and fixed my blonde highlighted bangs. "Again, didn't mean to almost hit you love" I said as I turned around and looked at my car. Fuck, I hoped it was alright. Though I suppose that my car could wait. I'm sure there was some grease monkey around that could repair it without problems. 'Keep it together Jace. She's underage. You know it'

God, school hasn't even started yet and he's already at it! Not to mention he was just in bed with Della less than an hour ago. "That shit pisses me off how he treats her. I've tried telling him off about it but you know he doesn't listen to me."

"Damn, nice shot," I said as the cup landed in the bin cleanly. She untied her ponytail without waiting for my response, I guess she could tell I was gonna say yes. A girl this cute inviting herself over to work on a new ride with me? I may have been pissed from the shit that went down at the party last night when I first woke up, but if a cure exists for being pissed, this was it. "I can always use an extra pair of hands, but," I paused, putting the rag back in my back pocket and hopping up and sitting on the hood of the car. "I don't want to be the reason you chip a nail," I said, teasing her with a grin; damn I could tell how gorgeous she really was now that I was starting to wake up.

Eventually when my smoke is burnt down to the filter I throw the butt on the ground and walk inside. From the corner of my eye I see Lynx talking to a girl. Of f*cking course. I think I might be sick, so I begin to walk faster and spot Lola and Winter tugging both of their arms then jogging the rest of the way to the girls room.


I knew I'd get sick, I'm not the best for holding alcohol. Especially if I see Lynx flirting with another girl. So I kneel down and empty my stomach into the porcelain bowl. When I'm completely empty, I flush the toilets and stand to go to the sink "do you have anything to help?" I ask Lola and Winter simply as I lean down to take a drink of water.

I reach into my bag and hand Mandy the bottle of Advil "yeah, here." I smile a bit and look at Morgan "so... do you remember anything from last night? I mean. You seem mad even though we didn't do anything" I state and look around.


A frown touches my lips as I watch Della watch Lynx flirt with the new girl then run off. If Lynx wasn't one of my best friends, and if he wasnt a sh*t ton stronger than I am, I'd probably go kick the sh*t outta him.

"Damn, it was a good party too. Wish you could have been," I said with a frown. In our group, you always knew when someone was missing because a party would be missing just a little something. In this case, it was a little Axel it was missing. It occured to me that it might be smarter to tell Axel the truth now before he found out later about Winter.

But then again, either way he's probably gonna fucking break my nose. Not like it doesn't happen every other day but I'd prefer not to start a fight. Finally, I decided to deal with it later. He just got out jail. Probably had not tolerance for this shit. "I wonder when the next party will be." I say. It's never an if but a when for us. There's always some party to be at.

Okay, it was hot outside. Too hot to just sit and wait for school to start. And I know the staff in the office just explained to me how to navigate but I was already completely lost. What building was this? What class did I have first period and where was it? With a sigh, I headed into the building that was closest, my nose buried in a handful of maps, a translation dictionary and my schedule. I ignored some of the strange looks as I received as I walked by.

I noticed a couple of nice enough looking girls standing by the locker and decided to ask them. They seemed pretty comfortable here. As I walked toward them, I tried to think of the correct way to approach them. "Um.. Excuse me. Can you... help me?" My accent was very thick and I hoped they could understand what I said not because I said the wrong words but because of my Japanese dialect.​

Moving my arm to give him a agreeable hand shake, I'd try his name out, saying it slowly, " Jace Adams ? Huh. I like it ...." . I rolled my amber eyes playfully, I usually didn't expect jokes about my name this early. "At my old school, I was Blues Clues so that's a step up". My much smaller hand was still in his and I noticed that it was calloused, especially the fingertips. Jace played a string instrument . And I thought he couldn't get any cuter. Chuckling at his question about going to school- I took note of that heart melting accent- I raised a eyebrow, "That depends, which do you think will kill me first ?" . Stepping close to Jace, I said quietly, "You don't seem like the type of guy to keep his hands on the wheel". No prize if you guessed what I hope he'd take his hands off to do. Bending down to pick up my hat, I brushed it off and placed it in my backpack. "It's my fault anyway, Jace. Sorry that I'm such a clutz..and I'd love nothing more for you to take me. I go to the high school, in fact, it's my first day here".

I raised a brow with a sly smirk on my lips "I promise I won't" I replied sarcastically but then it struck me, Mother would kill me if I got this shirt dirty "Uh... I couldn't help, but bite the inside of my cheek as Blue stepped closer to me in order to pick up her hat. "Well that also depends on who is riding in the car with me" I say with a slight smile. Then she said the dreaded two words. High school. Well I fucked up with my thoughts. Thank God they were just thoughts. "Should I call you Blues Clues? That's pretty cute." I state and then slowly turn to show her to my car. "I think it'll be safer to ride in my car. Come on" I say and instantly feel like groaning in frustration. Too bad. Poor me, I always find the younger ones. Maybe I should look at colleges instead of places around high schools. I run my hand back through my hair before I open the door on the passenger side. "Blues Clues. Huh, that or Blueberry. Tough choice" I say to myself as I smile over the car at the shorter girl, my slightly dimpled smile showing. Man, today was either a lucky day, or a total unlucky one. I couldn't decide which.

I laughed after she grabbed one of my stained shirts and told me to turn around. I rolled my eyes and decided to light another cig as I peeked over my shoulder, turning away suddenly when she told me I could look. She probably noticed, but what did she really expect?


"Yea, I haven't seen a car like this in this shit town before, either." I said taking a drag, watching her inspect the car. She mentioned something about my wheel being off, "Not my wheel," I said plainly, forgetting she thought it was my car. I coughed lightly at my slip-up and wiped my arm over my mouth, "I mean, I didn't put them on. But yea, course I gotta jack," I said hopping off the hood and walking over to a counter. I reached underneath and grabbed the long handled jack. I rolled it over beside where she stood and tilted my neck as I saw what she was talking about - whoever put it on didn't have access to a torque wrench. But like I said, I wasn't the asshole who put it on.

I nodded , "Okay, I'll take yourword for it. I trust you with my safety". Taking a short glance at his tanned, chiseled body, I had no doubt that Jace could do a pretty good job with it. I noticed the quick grimace that ran across the taller boy's lips and bit my own. I should have never mentioned high school considering that fact he looked way older then me . Ugh-nice one, Sevengy. Giving Jace the same little smile back, sadly, I didn't have dimples as adorably sexy as his but I still could smile with the best of them. Adjusting the flannel, I stepped into the passengers seat and sat down, crossing my legs, " I'm giving you free reign to pick my nickname to you but just remember that with great power comes great responsibility ". I laughed again, "Though some people call me Blueberry Shortcake. It's pretty embarrassing. Thanks again for driving me".

Not to mention I'm still high as fuck from earlier. "I got Science...I think. I honestly can't even remember the last time I've been to this shithole. I'm probably leavin' early anyways." I suddenly spot the familiar blonde kid, standing by the bathrooms like he said. He had just texted me a few minutes ago and told me to meet him there. Well here I am. "Hold on," I tell the girl, moving off the side. I do the transaction quickly: get the money, give him the weed, then I'm on my way. I've done it so many times I can probably do it in my sleep. "What the fuck is your name anyway?" I ask, walking back up to her.

A chick suddenly just walks up on us speaking Chinese. Or is it Japanese? Hell if I know. But before I can even respond, Della rushes down the hallway, grabs me and Winter by the arms, and pulls us off down the hallway. "Sorry!" I call to the unknown girl. Aw, I feel kinda bad. I hope she finds what she was looking for.


As soon as we get in the bathroom, Della runs to the stall and immediately starts throwing up. Ugh, I forgot she's not good at holding alcohol. I hold her hair back as she pukes in the toilet. Hey, what else are friends for? Finally she stands up and asks us do we have anything to help. I dig around in my purse but I don't have shit. "Ughh, no sorry I don't." I see her wipe her hand over her mouth and I notice something weird. I grab her arm, looking it up and down, finally seeing the burns. "Della, what the hell is this?!"
