That is correct. For your combat rolls of Strike, Parry, Dodge, Initiative and Perception rolls, its a d20. If you are trying to use a skill such as Detect Ambush or AEW, its the d100.

Ah, I see. So "Normal" actions require a d20 while the special ones such as skill usage require the d100. Okay. *Nods* Gotta remove the mentality of D&D indeed. I rolled the d20 and added the 5 like usual D&D. System's different, gotta remember that...

Question, how do you calculate for perception? Besides the d20, any other modifiers that need to be taken in to account?

Some skills give you a bonus to your roll, and the GMP character class does as well. If you don't have a bonus to your perception on your sheet, it is a base d20.
