Fantasy Archium, the 12th Realm

Masaki eventually comes up to a clearing that leads directly to the forest "I've literally circled this whole god damn place and nothing had happened" he sighed, starting to get frustrated as he walks into the forest. To his surprise he sees Quintus and Fane. "It appears hes chasing the orc killer" He giggles to himself and hides amongst the trees as he watches the chase unfurl, waiting for anything dramatic to happen

The green glow on his chest and legs flaired up. He dashed after Quintus and kept pace with him. The only thing he felt was a small drain on his magical energy. Once he caught up he responded, "oh their isn't any particular reason I'd say. More or less I need to know you are more good than evil. I can't let you kill anymore possible innocents like those orcs." He stayed attentive to possible objects that might trip him up. Unfortunately staying focused on healing and not tripping would leave him susceptible to attacks.
"You call those beast innocent?" Quintus asked, incredulously. Displaying impressive athleticism, Quintus leapt into a tree to get away from Fane. "Look, I don't slaughter innocent people. Those brutes are savages, they're my targets. And I'm afraid that's as much as you need to know..."

Fane was unable to leap into the trees, but could still keep pace with Quintus. Fane glared up at Quintus, "so you're one to not even see the good in foul beasts? You don't know all Orcs are evil or savage. Maybe you should look at the lives of the orcs you slay before you do it! Will you listen to my reason or will I have to watch over your actions? At least for the time being." Fane ended his Relief spell and readied his Shield of Energy spell. The green quickly dissapated from his chest and legs. His hands started to glow yellow as he prepared to possibly trap Quintus again.

Masaki started to get excited, wuickly reporting the situation to main HQ "...This should be good..." He says to himself as he watches Fane get a spell ready, he waits for an order from HQ to apprehend both targets. But he ignores the order as he feels that they havent done anything wrong... Yet. He gets down from the tree and discreetly gets closer so he gets a better view

"Did those brutes look-into the lives of the people they've slaughtered? Did they care what a person was like when they cut them down?! No, they didn't..." Quintus had begun leaping across the treetops, to outmaneuver the sorcerer. "Look, I am going to have to attack you if you continue to follow me, whether or not you're good or evil. It would be best if you went back."

Fane raised his right hand and a wall of translucent yellow formed in front of Quintus midair. It was too big to maneuver around while he was midair. Fane walked closer to Quintus and smirked, "go ahead attack me sir. I would love to see how you can best me. It is obvious I must follow you and make sure you do nothing 'evil.' So please allow me to accompany you. I will help you as long as your actions are just in nature."

He took his elven pole off his back and extended it to five feet. His hands still glowed yellow as he was prepared to use Shield of Energy. This would only be for the arrows Quintus could shoot, as Fane was confident in his abilities with his pole. He took a defensive/counter stance for if Quintus rushed him.

Svalna had finally given up trying to find rest in the grime covered alleyway. With a heavy sigh, she brought herself out of the dirt, scattering rats that had begun to pick through the mud and trash. Her once proud, gleaming armor was caked in dirt and grit, reflecting the time Svalna had spent in the slums. Trudging out of the alley, Svalna witnessed an odd scene: a cloaked man, followed by another, had quickly scaled a tree. Svalna couldn't make out what they were saying, but it seemed like an argument of some sort. Keeping her blade low, as to appear non-threatening to them, she approached from the cityside.

Maha got done with the food and after a bit of rest, left the tavern silently without word. Sticking around in a place like that wouldn't be pleasant at all. It was dangerous to begin with, and sleeping there would only prove more so. She didn't know where to go at this point. Going into a different part of the city, ships nearby as well as a bunch of tree's. Five orcs appeared, before her. "Give us money or die." the one in the middle cried out before her, almost so loud it seemed to echo on for a while. But, that didn't really stop her.

Holding steady, she looked them over cautiously. "I'm afraid I do not have any more money." her voice calming, and yet firm at the same time if this was the old her, these orcs would be dead on the spot. Upon say this, she began to walk past them, but they followed her, no longer in complete hostile intent, as they didn't raise their weapons to attack from behind. To her left, she saw two ships setting dock, and soon many orcs getting off the ships.

It was quite the interesting display, almost like a hunting party. The orcs from behind her, began to join up with them, around twenty orcs, now stood before her in short distance. As if now like a small army, and memories popping into her head, about the times she slaughtered them all, and being saved by an orc herself. The orcs let out a cry in unison, that seemed to echo even greater across the tree's, and surrounding areas.

Just as she had been approaching the two men, a cry rang out, a loud, daunting cry. Nothing like that of a cry for help, it sounded like more of a war cry. Perhaps it was part of some obscene orcish tradition, of which Svalna was unfamiliar. Turning around to search for the source, Svalna spotted two ships making dock, both loaded with a handful of orcs. Svalna figured boats docking would be normal for a port, but the passengers were not. They were armed, and when they departed the ships they took off, a glint of madness in their eyes. Svalna knew she didn't have any business with these orcs, but she was maddeningly curious as to why a group of armed orcs had quickly stormed from their boats.

Looking back at the two men, one still in the trees, Svalna let her curiosity get the better of her. Waiting until the last orc had rounded the corner, she moved at a light jog towards them, conserving energy. She had spells that would allow her to relieve fatigue and restore her stamina, but she hadn't properly learned them and would be forced to recite them from the books she carried. As she was turning the same corner that the orcs had, she was met with another cry, this time much louder. This one was undeniably some sort of war or hunting cry. In response, she picked up her pace and fully turned the corner. What she witnessed, while somewhat expectant, still came as a surprise. Well over a dozen orcs had surrounded a woman unknown to Svalna.

Approaching slowly, Svalna decided she would not intervene unless the orcs attacked. She had prepared a shield to be used on the woman should she come under attack. Aside from protecting her, the shield would also slightly increase the speed at which the woman could move.

Vragisav walked back to the market. He had the magic tome with him. He wasn't wiling to sell it to one of the stalls, as they would buy it cheap and sell it for a fortune, so he had no choice but to set up a stall himself. Vragisav looked around for a stall he could steal. He eventually found a family of orcs packing their stall, putting jewelry in bags. The mother had tears in her eyes, as did the kids. There didn't seem to be a father. After they had moved out Vragisav took their table. He sat there, waiting. He surely looked odd, sitting at a stall trying to sell.a single book.

(I was thinking if there was someone who wanted to by the book they could if they want)

Masaki watched Fane use his magic, he was surprised at his skill, although he seemed experienced, his style of magic was still impressive.. " I might just wait until it gets out of hand..." He mumbles to himself woth a giggle... He started to feel quite guilty which resulted in him arguing with himself mentally, should he stop the fight? Or not? He sighed

This would only be for the arrows Quintus could shoot, as Fane was confident in his abilities with his pole. He took a defensive/counter stance for if Quintus rushed him.
Quintus collided head on with the conjured wall, taking him by surprise. It was only thanks to his quick reflexes that he managed to grab onto a branch to prevent from falling. Pulling himself into the tree again, the archer took his bow off of his back, pointing it at Fane. "Alright, look, you can follow me, but don't try anything. And more importantly, don't get in my way..." He pulled back the string of the bow, firing an arrow past the sorcerer, into a tree behind him. Clearly, it was a warning shot.

However, as he did so, he heard a commotion nearby them. He heard several battle cries... in orcish tongue. However, he wasn't about to go out and slaughter them again. He needed to distance himself from the docks...

He smiled as he watched Quintus and Fane, then out of no where, an arrows makes its mark in a tree right next to him, Masaki stares at it and says "well..." Im definitely reporting HIM!" He sighs as he takes the arrow for evidence and then leaves the woods, walking straight past the docks and back to the main market place.

"Oh good to see you've finally come to your-" Fane tensed as the arrow was shot at him and then relaxed as it passed. He ended his Shield of Energy spell and again activated Relief. However, switching between the spells was now taking it's toll; similar to turning something on and off rapidly and wasting energy. He knew he had to only use Relief now to maintain his magically energy.

"Well then now where are we going?" Fane said and then put his pole on his back in its three foot form. That was when he heard the orcs cry off in the distance. What are they doing? Are they going to come this way? I hope we don't have to kill any possible innocents already. I know it's hard to discern right away, but there is always a way to tell if someone should live or die. Well maybe not die, but at least be imprisoned.

Maha stood before the orcs, not wavering a bit in her stance, as they shouted out in unison. It was there they walked past her, and began using tools to try and cut down the trees. Not really sure what was going on. Why did they want the trees? Did they want to make shelter, weapons, other tools? Certainly, not the easiest thing to understand, she decided she would sit and watch a while, if only that. Maha thought she might learn something interesting about these orcs, after all they seemed in a big hurry to get the wood.

"Gonna go investigate?" Quintus asked, derisively. Sighing, the mercenary glanced at the ground, finally dropping the irritation. At last, he dropped to the ground, after placing his bow on his back once again. Extending his hand towards the sorcerer, he stated, "We didn't quite meet on the best terms. Suppose if you're going to be following me around, I may as well make this somewhat enjoyable."

Fane looked at Quintus, "no, no I think we're fine." He then looked in surprise at Quintus' hand. It was a big difference than him wanting to go alone. Even though it was sudden Fane shook Quintus' hand and smiled. "Well I assumed you'd want me gone, glad it was the opposite." Once the handshake ended Fane took a breath and cleared his mind. He wanted to make sure he could focus on anything again, instead of just fighting. "Alright so what is the plan my new acquaintance?"

"The plan is to battle against the forces of the Phalanx, or at least, that's my plan. However, rather than simply battling grunts and pushing towards territory like others choose to do, I pick off important figures, captains, and otherwise high-ranking orcs. It cripples their moral, and leaves territories without guidance, thus making it easy to be captured," He replied, pulling off his hood.

Masaki continues his patrol as fills in a report for Quintus, he was a well known activist against the Phalanx so the higher ups in the order would probably take action. Not that there were many higher ups of Masaki but still, he had to send a report to them "The boss should be pleased withn my patrols today, unfortunately I didnt get to fight some orcs or something. I need to show people that we high ups in the Phalanx are... Scary..." He giggles to himself and then continues to walk, getting to a courtyard filled with the flora native to Ranldor. He stands by a tree. Sighing.

Fane went to take his hood off as well and forgot it was already down. He was a bit embarrassed, but shook it off, "Hm.... I see. Well I do not condone killing without due reason, unfortunately. So if it isn't too much trouble, might we kidnap and hold hostage all your targets? With my spell I should be able to detain them and keep them under watch once we get more. I will interrogate them and find out if they deserve death." Fane hoped his reasoning would be enough to get a total stranger to change their mind. He knew even if Quintus agreed that no plan works out exactly as one wants. More than one of his targets would have to be killed or they might be killed themselves.

"You really want to waste time capturing and interrogating them about their lives? Each of them lead large squads of bloodthirsty murderers, and send them to destroy villages for resources. I think that's reason enough to kill them, to be quite honest," He stated, striding down one of the forest paths. Though looking fairly displeased, Quintus finally agreed... to an extent. "Look, we'll capture some of them. But the others are as good as dead."

Fane followed and ended his spell of Relief, glad that they were not running. The green glow from his hands dissapated and he could feel his magical energy level out. He examined their surroundings and then replied to Quintus, "You have yourself a deal my good man. Unfortunatly, you'll have to do any killing I am not the judge of, unless completely unavoidable. However, I will make sure to protect and heal you from as much as I can."

Quintus chuckled, glancing in the distance. There was a village nearby... the next target was there. "Don't worry, I'll be happy to any of the killing, just have my back. There's a village up ahead, and one of my targets is there."

Fane looked ahead and thought he could barely see the village's edge. He then looked at Quintus again, "Would you possibly have any information on this target? I can start to decide his fate from what you can tell me."

Quintus placed his hand within his cloak, pulling out what appeared to be a book. Within its many pages detailed many individuals working under the phalanx, their ranking, and information about them. On quite a few of the pages, the names were crossed out... people that Quintus had already killed. "Turn to the nineteenth page. This orc is the one controlling the guards patrolling the docks, and most of the squads around this general area," He began. "Now, since I'd rather us not capture all of the grunts along with this captain, shall I kill the grunts guarding him?"
