Fantasy Anything Goes

Aileada nodded. She then threw her arms around Hunter. "I'm sorry," Her voice was soft. "But I can't, not yet." Her grip remained around him as she rested her head on his shoulder. "Please be careful," After another moment or two she released him, wiping her eyes. "Come back once you find what you need, ok?" She stared up at him with glossy eyes.

Hunter looked at Aileada with a sad smile and held out the necklace "It's ok, I won't leave for as long as I was last time, besides I don't leave till tomorrow afternoon, so we have time still."

After checking his pocket watch for the seventh time, Tsatsu dismissed his pipe with a wave of his hand and proceeded to Aileada's apartment. He hadn't eavesdropped, out of respect, but he could resist temptation no longer. With three gentle knocks upon her door, the ebony wolf waited patiently for one of them to answer the door.

"Good, we're going out for dinner so if you'd-" She stopped at the sound of someone knocking at the door. "Crap, I'm suppose to be getting changed." She mumbled before redirecting her attention to Hunter. "Could you get the door while I get dressed?" The red-haired girl didn't wait for a response, instead she gently grabbed the neckless and darted for her room. "Thank you!" She called from behind the closed door.

Hunter watched the red head dart off and opened the door to see Tatsu standing there in a suit "Yo, man what are you doing here?" He asked as he leaned against the door frame.

The dragon wraps its body around his hand, resting its head on Shinu's palm. Victoria nods and goes into the kitchen to get some water. She comes back with a large glass and holds it out for him. "Here you go."

Tsatsu smiled with the utmost sincerity as he spoke. "Why, I've come to invite you to dinner, good sir. Aileada and I are having dinner with Victoria and Shinu, and we'd be honored if you'd join us." He said as he took note of Hunter's disposition. He didn't show it, but something about the young man's posture told him to be mindful.

Shinu smiled as the dragon made itself at home on his arm, and graciously accepted the glass of water Victoria brought him. After a few sips, he breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you. I needed that." He said with a soft smile on his lips. "Do I need to get any ingredients or anything for dinner?" He inquired in a hoarse tone. He'd have to let his voice rest as often as possible, but any progress was good in his book.

Once the door was closed and locked Aileada removed her swim suit and began rummaging through her closet. Finding what she wanted she continued in getting dressed. Aileada stood in front of her mirror admiring the black dress she wore. Its long, velvet sleeves seemed to accentuate the the shortness of the dress, ending two to three inches above her knees, still well within the classy range. It hugged her figure nicely, which made this dress one of her favorites. She quickly ran a brush through her hair and slipped on her shoes. Taking one last glance in the mirror a thought crawled into her mind. 'Am I over dressed? I don't want to stand out or feel awkward.' While Tsatsu had told not to second guess herself, she couldn't help but worry. Carefully she pushed open her door and popped her head out. "Is this too much, I don't want to look weird." A light blush covered the girl's face as she stepped out into the hallway, hands clasped behind her back.

Victoria shrugs. "I don't even know what is being made..." She looks at the dragon and smiles. "They all seem to like you." The dragon's tail twitches slightly and it seems to almost falls asleep.

Hunter shrugged "Sure why not give me a second to change" he said as he stood straight again and started to walk to his room, before he could enter he heard Aileada walk out and saw what she was in and his face mimicked a tomato, the blonde then rushed into his room to hide his blush. After forcing down his blush he changed into a dress shirt with the top two buttons undone and sleeves rolled up, and black pants with his gloss black dress shoes, and walked out of his room.

Tsatsu slowly crossed the threshold of the doorway and thanked Fenrir he was the only one in the apartment who could read minds. With a humble smile, he nodded in approval. "You look magnificent, mademoiselle. A sight to behold indeed." He said with the utmost respect in his voice. His ears twitched only once as he mentally composed himself. 'Remember, you're not in Hell. You can't just come and go as you please. Things are different here, and you must abide the customs and courtesies, Tsatsu. She is beautiful, but this is most assuredly not the time to act like an animal.' He scolded himself in the back of his mind.

Shinu smiled delightedly as the dragon began to doze off. He gently stroked a single finger down the creature's spine as his ears began to twitch. Who was acting like an animal? And what was the difference between being in Hell and being here? He shrugged off the sensation and spoke again, carefully rising to his feet so as not to wake the poor creature. "Why don't you just let him roam? Why keep him in the painting?" He asked, hoping not to bring up any painful subjects.

Victoria looks at the dragon sadly. "I have to live somehow. These guys are how I make money. I can't just sell a live dragon." She looks at the door. When were they going to get there? And was she supposed to dress up? She sighs and looks back at the dragon.

Shinu nodded in agreement. "True. But you can keep this one. Besides, he can grow alot easier out here in the open, right?" He asked innocently as he held out his arm. "I'm gonna go wash up. If we're expecting guests, I guess I better find something without holes and oil stains. Could you hold him for me? I won't take long, I promise."

Victoria nods and gently takes the dragon from him. Chinese dragons were always lazy. "Do you think we should dress up? Because I don't want to be wearing jeans if everyone else is going to be in suits and stuff."

Aileada smiled. "Thanks, it's not too much is it?" She asked curiously. Hunter then stepped out of his room. Aileada smirked. "Looking sharp." She then looked back at Tsatsu. "If it's not too much then I suppose we're ready to go."

Shinu merely replied with a casual shrug. He'd never been one for fancy outfits and expensive crud, much to his brother's disapproval, but the idea appealed to him. "Eh, why not. Let's just be fancy for a night. Even if they don't show up, we can just be ritzy and head into town on our own." He said with a smirk as he turned and dug into one of his bags. Did he even own anything with more than two buttons? But as luck would have it, he found his three piece suit from his college graduation, packed neatly into an air-tight bag. Barely twenty minutes later, he stepped out of the bathroom, dressed in black slacks and a white shirt. The black silk tie was a bit much for his taste, but he guessed he looked alright. "How do I look? Too much Mr. Spiegel, or not enough?" He inquired as he loosened the tie a bit more. It looked lazy, which suited him just fine. He'd never been a very formal animal, much less a fancy or well-mannered one. But if his childhood hero could pull it off, so could he.

Hunter gave a nod to Aileada "What are we having tonight anyway?" He asked them as he adjusted his sleeves.

Tsatsu nodded approvingly at the both of them. "Come along, mon amí. I have a culinary delight I think you're going to absolutely adore. Sushi and udon teriyaki, a few small dishes from my mother's cook book, with a little surprise for dessert." He said with a grin as he led the way outside. The night had barely fallen, and there's wasn't a chill in the air, which brought a quiet sigh of relief. He'd never been a fan of the winter, much to the confusion of his snowy sibling. As he led the way to Victoria's home, he couldn't resist the urge to hum quietly. He'd always been that way, always with a song on his lips and a spring in his step. When he wasn't busy burning down villages and cursing unmannered heathens with fates worse than death, of course.

Shinu shrugged again and slowly stepped out onto the porch, lighting a cigarette and shoving one hand into his pocket. Thanks to his lycanthropic generics, he had a tendency to bounce back quickly, save for his mental state. But even that was improving. As he stood there, watching the smoke drift lazily in the evening air, he caught a distinct scent and muttered to himself. "Uh-oh." He said to himself as he turned and made a face at the pink rabbit in the front yard. He'd deal with that smug bastard soon enough. Right now, he had bigger things to contend with.

She smiled and followed Tsatsu; she turned and beckoned Hunter to follow. "Oooh a surprise dessert." She let out a soft laugh. A multitude of thoughts jumped into her head, she quickly pushed them out, knowing that if Tsatsu caught a glimpse of what she thought it would be enough to flood the blood to her face.

"I don't have fancy clothes," Victoria mutters. "Why would I have fancy clothes?" She groans and digs through her closet, looking for something suitable to wear. Eventually she comes across a white lace dress. Hopefully it still fit. She didn't even remember buying it... Leaving her hair in its ponytail, she curls it slightly and then puts the dress on. It was a sleeveless dress that came down to just below her knees. Thankfully the zipper was on the side of the dress so she wouldn't have to go through the awkwardness of someone else zipping it up. She puts on a small amount of makeup and slips on a pair of flats. She inspects herself in the mirror and shrugs. "That's as good as it gonna get," she mutters and leaves her room.

Tsatsu smirked to himself, but said nothing. "Indeed. I will warn you, some of what I have planned may not be quite what you're used to, but I think you'll both approve." He said with a chuckle as he caught a glimpse of Aileada's thoughts and bit his lip to keep from laughing. "The menus down south are quite the culinary treat, so long as you're not opposed to meat and spices." He said as he put his hands into the pockets of his coat and pressed his thumbnail against one fingertip until he could feel the skin begin to break. Through the forces of his usual magic, he conjured his pipe as he withdrew one hand and began to puff away as though he were in deep thought.
