Fantasy Anything Goes

Aileada smiled as his hand slipped into hers. "I suppose so. Are we going to their house or will I need to set up my kitchen?"

'If it's at my place I should probably tidy things up, and let Hunter know.' She suddenly stopped, remembering her friend. "Crap, where's Hunter? Didn't he say he was going to join us?" She looked towards her apartment with a sigh. "Maybe he's back home." She mumbled to herself.

Shinu nodded and gave a soft smile. Broken and muted though he was, at least he could be of help somehow. He wondered who the visitors would be? He picked up a strange looking red book inlaid with an elaborate golden circle. It seemed vaguely familiar, but he couldn't quite understand why, and so he placed the book on a nearby shelf and allowed himself to be distracted by a multitude of other things.

Tsatsu smiled warmly as he spoke. "No, no, we're going to their house." He said as they entered town with the sunset at their backs. Her expression took on a sad appearance and he gave her hand a light squeeze. "I haven't seen him since this afternoon. Shall we go and look for him? I'm sure he could use a good meal and good company as well." He said with sincerity. True, he and the young man had crossed blades, but that was no cause for quarrel, in his mind.

Andy sat at a corner with his hat on the ground waiting for someone to give him some change. Some of the other homeless hated being on the street and Andy was the same when he began, but he later began to enjoy it's simplicity and having the power to pick pockets using shadows kind of made homeless life simple and bearable. But today he decided not to pick pockets he just wasn't feeling well. "Hey man spare some change?" he said looking at ground not asking anyone particular.

Tsatsu heard a man nearby, asking for change. He let go of Aileada's hand for a moment and gestured for her to wait for him. He slowly approached the man and gave him his shirt and peacoat. "Here, take these. And this as well." He said as he dropped nine gold coins, three finely cut rubies, a sapphire, and two emeralds into the man's hat. Before the poor beggar could speak, Tsatsu knelt down and laid his clawed hand upon the man's shoulder, bowing his head and speaking in a soft and reverant tone. "Blessed Amaterasu, Holy Mother and Gracious Matron, hear the prayer of a lost child. Have mercy upon this man. Bless him with kindness and the things that he might need in life." He said as he rose to his feet. Brushing aside a lock of his jet black hair, the ebony lycan smiled at the man. "Blessed day to you sir." He said as he rejoined Aileada, taking her by the hand once again and continuing along.

Andy jaw dropped at the sight of the gems and gold that filled his hat. Andy quickly placed his loot into whatever pocket he had, he placed the now empty hat back on his head the grabbed the peacoat & shirt. he ran after the pair "Hey man i don't take clothing donation but thanks anyway man" and handed the lycan his clothing "But is there something i can help you with man? i kind of know these better then anyone"

Tsatsu smiled warmly as he accepted the clothes. "No thank you my good man, but I sincerely appreciate your offer all the same. My nose knows exactly where to go, if you catch my drift." He replied with a lighthearted tone as he wiggled his large black ears that poked out from the top of his head. "Are you sure you wouldn't like the coat, at least? It's getting cold out, and wool is best for such weather." He offered. The coat was one less thing for him to keep track of, and the man needed it more than he did anyway.

"have you already forgotten the gems and gold you handed me?" he pulled out a ruby "Dude this thing alone is going to get me a new home" then pulled out a emerald "and this is going to get me clothing" he put away both gems "Dude unless these gems are fake then no i am not going to need you're coat man"

After the table was cleaned off, Victoria goes into her room to change out of her muddy clothes. She had been occupied with Shinu, so changing was the last thing on her mind. She puts on a pair of skinny jeans and a black, long sleeved shirt. She then pulls her hair up into a high ponytail and walks back into the livingroom.

Aileada couldn't help but smile as she watched Tsatsu offer the man his clothes and an assortment of gems. She took his hand once he rejoined her and squeezed it gently. When Shinu first talked about his brother he made him out to be the child of all evil, and while she had seen his destructive power, she couldn't help but think the exact opposite as she stared at the ebony wolf. He was kind, caring, and protective over his family, traits that Aileada admired.

Tsatsu merely shrugged as he draped the clothes over his arm. "As you wish, my good sir." He said with a kind smile. "If you truly have no need of my coat, then I shall take your word for it. I don't mean to seem rude, but my companion and I have a prior engagement that we must abide. Perhaps our paths may cross again someday soon, and we might have a drink. But for now, I'm afraid I must bid you au dieu." He said as politely as could be. If there was one thing Tsatsu prided himself on, it was his manners and courtesy, especially to strangers. He was hot-headed and quick to temper, but only when provoked. Beyond that, he held himself to the highest standard of gentlemanly behavior. With a light squeeze of Aileada's hand and one last smile, he nodded to the man and continued walking. The sun had almost set completely, and he didn't want to keep his dinner guests waiting any longer.

Shinu merely returned to sit on the couch, dressed in his white cargo pants and t-shirt, with a confused expression on his face. Something important was coming, and from the feeling he had in his stomach, bad news was sure to follow soon after. He couldn't quite figure out what it was, but it made him nervous.

Aileada smiled and continued walking. A cold gust reminded her she was still in her bathing suit. Looking between her home and Victoria's she let go of Tsatsu and began back towards her home. "You go ahead, I don't want them to have to wait too long. I'm going to go back to my apartment and change into something more appropriate. I'll see you down there." She smiled before turning and jogging off.

Hunter sighed, he had been watching tv for the past few hours waiting for Aileada to get home so he could tell her he was leaving town. He turned the tv off, and decided to play son games on his phone

He simply nodded with a smile and continued onwards, his expression never giving away his thoughts. After a few paces, he ducked into an alley and found a safe place to hide. With a snap of his fingers, his clothes were instantly transformed. His coat and shirt instantly vanished in a puff of purple flame, and a black aura cascaded over him, leaving the young wolf dressed head to toe in a new outfit, all black as usual. The leather shoes were shined to perfection, his dress slacks were adorned with dull silver pin-stripes. His shirt was plain, with a red tie and the sleeves neatly rolled just above his elbows. His vest matched his pants, and his peacoat was of the finest wool that human eyes had ever seen. His sword vanished from his belt and was replaced by a strange pair of blades that hung neatly on his hips. Forged by his own hands in the Fifth Circle, and infused with a tooth harvested from Cerberus himself, the two ulaks were surely nothing a mere mortal would dare trifle with. Of all his collected weapons, Tsatsu favored these two the most, next to his previous longsword. Satisfied with his attire, he stepped back out onto the street and buttoned his coat, sniffing the air. Victoria's house was to his right, about three miles away, but something else lay just two his left. About two blocks away, to be precise. And so he conjured his pipe and decided to wait and see what came of the situation. He could clearly smell Hunter, and sadness in the air. And something else too, although he couldn't decide what to call it just yet.<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_03/TS-RIDDICK1.jpg.b25b4c99b5c4f5f01a4873c86eb78489.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="111805" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_03/TS-RIDDICK1.jpg.b25b4c99b5c4f5f01a4873c86eb78489.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

The girl kept a steady pace as she jogged back to her apartment. Pulling a key from the pockets of her shorts, she slid it into the lock and opened the door. Once inside she promptly dropped the clothing she had been caring and rounded the corner, heading for her room. Aileada head whipped around noticing Hunter. "Hey, I was wondering where you went." A small smile formed on her lips. "Whatcha' doing?" She asked, dropping down beside him. Getting changed could wait for a moment or two.

Hunter looked up when Aileada asked what he was doing and put his phone away "Waiting for you actually,"the blonde said as he stood up and dug around in his jacket pocket "Aileada, I have to go and leave town soon, and I thought I should tell you."

Aileada frowned. "Why, does it have to do with what you do?" She stared up at him with large, emerald eyes. "Or did I do something?" The image of the look he gave her when she teased him flashed into her mind. She looked down. "I'm sorry for what I did earlier. It's just been so long since I've had friends that, I don't know, maybe I've forgotten how to interact with others. I should've been more sensitive to the situation." Her eyes remained fixated to the floor.

Hunter looked at Aileada with a sad smile "it has nothing to do with you, it has to do with my swords," he said as he pulled a necklace out of the pocket he was rummaging in, it had a simply chain, but the stone was constantly changing gem type randomly "but I'm giving you an option, you can take this necklace and stay here or you can come with me, it's your choice Aileada."

"What's the point of the necklace, just a sort of keepsake to remember you by, or does it have a function?" Honestly the redhead didn't care about the necklace, what stuck in her mind was him asking her to go with him. She sat down on her couch for a moment, thinking it over. She had always wanted to leave and travel, but now she had friends: Shinu, Victoria, Tsatsu. Could she leave them behind?

Hunter chuckled at the question "Both, but yes the necklace has a function, two actually, one is to let me know if your in trouble, thanks to a small rune on it, the other is this," he said as he gave the necklace a small squeeze and the stone suddenly grew to a human sized golem of the stone with the chain hanging off the chest.

She smiled and watched as he demonstrated the use of the necklace. She looked at the necklace hanging from the golem before looking back to Hunter with a sad gaze. "Why do you have to go?"

Hunter grew a forlorn face "the monument I touched these swords I signed a contract, that contract means I have to find something in the world, if I don't something worse than hell will break loose."

Victoria sighs and looks around. She picks up the painting of the Chinese dragon and places her hand over it, bringing it to life. The dragon swirls around her arm and then takes off through the room like a snake.

Shinu looked up at the dragon, mesmerized by the sight of the small creature. Was it just another hallucination, or was this real, he wondered. He lightly held out his hand, in case the creature wished to land and rest for a moment. As time had passed, he'd slowly begun to feel better. He was still seeing things, but his thoughts were a bit more organised now, and he could feel his throat had started to heal. In a raspy voice, he spoke at long last, in slow and deliberate pronunciation. "Victoria? Could I have some warm water, please? My throat's itchy."
