Fantasy Anything Goes

Victoria looks towards the window. "There's no r-," she quickly stops herself and simply closes the blinds on the windows. "He's gone now." She goes over to the couch and sits next to Shinu. "How do we fix your brain?"

The young wolf simply stared at her with a sad, confused look on his face. How would they fix his brain? How would one even go about such a process? He didn't realize it, but his jaw had slackened a bit, and his mouth barely hung open like an empty mail envelope. After awhile, he simply stared past her at nothing in particular. His mond ran a thousand miles an hour, and yet went nowhere at the same time. His thoughts were too scattered, and his already short attention span was now twice as bad.

(Sorry. I HAD to take a shower. Our water had been basically mud the past few days. The grand old city has finally fixed it.)

Victoria watches Shinu and sighs. How on earth was she going to deal with this? She had already failed at taking care of a child, and now Shinu basically had the mind of one. She looks down at her lap, wondering how she was going to fix this.

(Bless your heart x3 Well I'm glad that got taken care of :3 )

For a moment, he seemed to snap out of it. His ears twitched a few times, and he straightened his posture, but that was it. And so, he returned to staing at Victoria, trying to piece it all together. How did he know this girl? Why were his ear on the top of his head, instead of on the sides like hers were? Why could he only remember tiny chunks of his life up to this point? And who in Hell's half-acre was Tsatsu? Why did he know that name?

Aileada kept her hand gently wrapped around Tsatsu's arm, staring at the woman. She wished she would decide whether she planned on attacking or not, the waiting was beginning to wear away at Aileada.

(I am too. I was starting to feel sickly...)

Victoria looks at him sadly, but forces a smile. "I'll find a way to fix your brain. I promise."

After some deliberation, Tsatsu calmed himself and spoke in a firm, but peaceful tone. "To hell with this. I hunger, and I'm sure mon cherí would like a bite as well. If you want trouble, you know where to find me." He said as he turned to Aileada. "Shall we go home, then? It's getting late, and I'd rather you not get sick." He said as he knelt down to pick up his sword and clothes. With haste, he fastened his sword to his belt and draped his shirt and coat over one arm, carrying his shoes in his free hand. A strange thought struck his subconcious as he waited for Aileada. Where was that pesky brother of his? And as his mind reached into the ethereal realm, he found bits and pieces of his sibling scattered across the plane around him. That couldn't be a good sign. But he kept his thoughts to himself. He'd sort that out momentarily.

A quirky thought pierced Shinu's internal rambling like a bullet. Fix? She'd need tools for that! And so, stumbling about in a frantic giddiness, he began to assemble a random assortment of supplies. Glue, paper, and scissors. Glitter, a hammer, a box of nails. As the pile grew larger upon the sofa's cushion where he'd been sitting moments ago, so did his smile. For the finishing touch, he scribbled on the paper again and proudly displayed a box of macaroni noodles he'd fetched from Victoria's kitchen's pantry cabinet. "I help!" He'd written, with a rather large and sloppily drawn smiley face at the end.

Victoria giggles "Put all this stuff away. I only need one thing to fix your brain, and it isn't any of these." She gets to her feet and picks up some of the items, putting them back where they belonged.

Shinu stood in utter confusion as she began to put away everything he'd brought over to the couch. If she didn't need tools and craft supplies, what did she need then? With a sigh, he followed her into the kitchen and turned on the sink. The water was nice and cold, and it soothed his aching throat so well. Why did his throat hurt? Was he sick or something?

Serana replied with a smirk "it would be rude to kill in front of guest. Especially if you want trouble from someone else. I got the answers I needed." With a wave of her hand. She turned invisable. "Oh and word of advice, you should take care of your brother. He seemed stressed.." A hint of food amusement before she walked off, completly unseen and sects able. She decided to try and strike a bargain with Somiss.

Shinu returned to the couch and sat down, hugging his knees to his chest as he tried to gather his thoughts. Where on earth was he, anyway? He knew he was at Victoria's house, but where was her house? Canada, China, maybe on the moon?

The blood drinker had said something, but Tsatsu paid it no mind. As she disappeared, he silently breathed a sigh of relief. Whatever had happened to Shinu, he was sure he could fix it with little difficulty. His brother was more prone to certain types of emotional experiences, but a good portion of that was brought on by his solitary lifestyle. To his knowledge, Shinu had never even kissed a girl before in his life, so it was only natural to assume that he occasionally suffered from depressive ruts and the like. But despite many a time when they'd argued their points, his sibling had always chosen to wander alone. In a way, Tsatsu almost pitied the man. To wander the earth in solitude for all his days? But then again, Shinu had always been the quiet type. A true lone wolf at heart, to be sure.

Victoria leans against Shinu. She had absolutely no idea how she was going to fix this. She couldn't use magic or read his mind or anything cool like that.

A sigh of relief escaped from the red-haired girl's lips as she scooped up her belongings. Her stomached grumbled at the wolf's mentioning of food. "Food sounds good right about now." With a quick glance down at the towel she held, a small smile formed on her lips. "Here," She called before tossing it at Tsatsu. "I've clothes that I can slip back on, so you're more than welcome to use that."

He caught the towel on his shoulder, seeing as his hands were full, and smirked. "Thank you. You're far too kind, mademoiselle." He said as he set his belongings down. Hanging the towel around his neck, he slipped his socks and shoes on and gently dried his hair, fluffing and brushing his ebony locks with his fingers. When he was finished, he carried the towel on one hand, and his shirt and coat in the other. He wanted to bask in the evening sun while he could. "All set? I'm thinking sushi and maybe udon for dinner, unless you'd prefer something else." He said as he gazed at the sunset. All told, it had certainly been an intruiging day.

Shinu leaned his head forward and used his nose to poke Victoria's forehead. It simply seemed like the thing to do at the time. And then he remembered a single word, although he had no clue what it meant or why he knew the word in the first place. So he took up his pen and paper and scribbled, holding it for her to see. "What's a Liondil?"

"I've never had either of the two, so sounds good to me." She smiled as she pulled on her shoes. "So what exactly is udon?" She asked curiously as she walked up beside Tsatsu. The sun had began to set. It was always interesting to watch the sky put on its colorful show, the way the light refracted to give it its different tones of colors.

"Liondil is the town we are in," Victoria explains. "It's a nice little town, minus the psychopaths and occasional person wanting to dominate the world."

Tsatsu smiled as he led the way back to down. "Udon is a type of Japanese soup, similar to ramen but with thicker noodles. It's usually served with mirin or a similar herb, but I've seen it presented in all kinds of ways." He explained with a cheery expression. Despite his disposition, he held a sincere love of food, of all kinds. "I think I know just what to do for dinner, so long as you don't mind a few guests. And no, I'm only inviting Victoria and Shinu. No need for worries, we'll be amongst pleasant company tonight. Methinks we could all do with a giggle or two." He said as he spoke to Victoria's subconcious. 'I don't mean to alarm you. Yes, I know what's happened. At least I think I do. I ask you for only two favors. I need a crucifix, and I'd like you to join me and Aileada for dinner, so I have need of your kitchen. Just nod, and that'll suffice'. His message was clear, but humbly spoken into her subconcious.

Victoria begins to panic as Tsatsu's voice enters her mind, but nods at the request. She looks at Shinu. "Would you help me clean off the kitchen table? I have a feeling we are going to have guests." She didn't like the idea of someone being in her mind, especially Tsatsu.

"Sounds good to me." In all honesty, ever since she moved into her apartment she never had anyone over, unless Duchess counted. Since this week began she had more social encounters than she normally had in a month or two. Aileada didn't mind the alone time, but being with people who had even the slightest interest in what she said was pleasant. "I don't have any way of contacting them though. Maybe if you could use some sort of wolf, brother connection to get to him that would be great." Aileada laughed softly.

Shinu slowly lifted his head and nodded. He didn't quite understand what a 'guest' was, but he assumed it was important to her, and so he silently went about the task.

Tsatsu nearly burst into laughter as he gently patted Aileada's shoulder. "Oh, I think we shall find ourselves exactly where we are supposed to be, when we're supposed to be there." He replied with a bemused grin. "The cosmos has a funny way of doing that, wouldn't you agree?" He said as he draped his shirt and coat over his right arm, taking Aileada's hand in his with a jovial grin. "No matter what it may be, good or bad, life has a funny way of doing exactly what it needs to; that we might come to find peace and happiness awaiting just around the bend."

Victoria gathers up the books and stacks of paper and sets them in the corner in her living room. "Thank you, Shinu," she says. Hopefully they didn't want to har anything fancy. She was what most people call a "starving artist." Most of the food in her house consisted of cereal, TV dinners, and ramen noodles.
