Fantasy Anything Goes

Hunter chuckled "that good you need to let it take hold, but not control" he said in a cryptic voice "I've learned that to fight the beast is to make it stronger, to tame the beast is to master it. Do you understand what I'm saying?"

Hunter sighed "you don't understand what I meant, you fight your instincts and they fight back you must use them but still be in control of your actions."

Aria finally found a file. She pulled it off the shelf eagerly and glanced out the window, making sure nobody was watching. She then sat down and began to Scan through it until she found Somiss's name.

Vorain Family- Somiss Vorain

Name: Somiss Xander Vorain

Last name: Vorain

Age:49

Race: UNKNOWN

Somiss was a child of darkness. His mother died at birthing him. He was an occupied witch hunter, but he was evil, he stole their powers, killed children that even possessed the slightest gift of magic. He became wanted but slaughtered entire troops. Mages and warlocks came together and entombed him. Keeping him in a tomb for thousands of years. Never to be seen from again.

Until now. Aria thought bitterly. She took the file and walked out of the library. Exploring the town. And cautiously watching rooftops.

@Anyone

"Victoria, I've seen hatchlings do it, if they can you can to." Hunter said standing up "you just need to know how."

He scoffed as he took another drag. "Aye. My brother's existence is proof of that". He said as they continued towards town. "I ask about the book because I need help. So does Victoria."

"That book isn't gonna do jack shit for you two." She said bluntly. "So that guy, Tsatsu, he's your brother? What's up with him?"

Hunter sighed "you'd be surprised about what people understand, but I know someone who can definitely help you better than I can." He said as he dialed a number on his cell "hello, it's me Hunter I want you to teach someone.... Three days... Ok ill see you then"

He paused for a moment, thinking of how best to explain his brother with short sentences. "Tsatsu is essentially the end result of breeding a demonic wolf with a succubus who's been put in charge of keeping Hell's library up to date." He said with a smirk. Much as the remark could've been taken as sarcasm, it was quite accurate.

"Huh, he didn't strike me as a librarian." She smiled. "So are you two biologic siblings, or did a wolf and a succubus actually birth him? And," She stopped walking, turning to Shinu. "Does he know when others are talking about him, or even thinking about him? I know it sounds dumb, but when Victoria summoned him he said he was summoned when he first entered her thoughts. It just bugged me; I couldn't tell if he was being honest or not."

Aria pushed through the streets. She felt so many eyes on her. As she stormed off she heard people shriek and she turned around to see the library in flames, two black figures dissapearing behind get another roof. Aria gasped as she quickly tried to dye down the flames. The fire was magic and Aria found herself unable to extinguish it. Gaurds came with water tried to extinguish it. After a minute it started to work but slowly. This was a message. To her.

Aria turned and ran. Somiss was here?! Why?! He only sent his men after her. She couldn't use her magic to put down the flames. He had gotten stronger. Too strong. She sprinted through the greets, pushing through the growing crowd, she saw the guy from earlier who had helped her kill that gang. He was with some girl and she wondered what creature he was. But her mind drifted back to the current situation and she ran straight past the two and turned sharply into an allyway to catch her breath.

Shinu was in the process of answering Aileada's question when the newcomer shot past him like an arrow, and he faintly smelled smoke. And something burning? With a growl, he scooped Aileada up and carried her on his back as if he were giving her a piggyback ride. Whatever was happening, he needed to run faster than a human could keep up with. Bolting for into town as quickly as his legs could carry him, he arrived to find the bookstore in flames, with several civilians trying to douse the flames to no avail. Setting Aileada down with gentle hands, he wheeled around and quickly lost his temper all over again, screaming at the top of his lungs in white-hot anger. "Oh you have got to be screwing with me!" He shouted, spitting blood onto the asphalt as he rushed to help.

As Hunter hung up his phone he heard sirens of a fire truck rush by he ran outside "COME ON!" he yelled to Victoria as he ran after the trucks

Aileada suddenly found herself on Shinu's back. Her grip on his shoulders were tight, struggling to hold on without strangling him. But the thoughts quickly faded away as they rounded the corner to see the bookstore up in flames. Even though Shinu had let her down, the ground beneath her felt unsteady as she collapsed onto her knees. Her eyes were wide with shock and horror. "No, no, no, no," She continued to mumble as if caught in a loop. Her voice faded as she stuttered. "This... This can't be happening."

the flames on the building shifted to writing as Aria stepped out of the allyway and ran back towards the building, she stopped as the flames formed the word: MURDERER. On the building. Aria was confused what it meant until she realized it. The librarian. She had knocked him unconcious in the library and the spell would keep him in sleep for at least two hours.

Aria clutched her stomach, she felt as if the air had been knocked out of her. She had killed an innocent man. Grief and shock crossed her face.

There wasn't enough time. And he had officially run out of patience with whichever higher power had chosen to pick on him as of late. Spreading his feet and holding his arms at full length on each side of his body, he shouted at the universe itself. "Enough!" He cried out as he unleashed a burst of unbridled chakra, causing time itself to grind to a halt. Now, he had to be extremely careful. Time and space were the two realms he dared not travel unless it was truly necessary. This was where his brother dwelled in his spare time, and he was loathe to see Tsatsu again so soon. He carefully made his way inside and immediately found the old book keeper, with Tsatsu kneeling over him. The pair merely exchanged glares and went to work. Shinu extinguished the flames with breaths of frost, while Tsatsu brought the old man back to life. Unfortunately, only so much could be done. The store was still badly burned, but it would still stand and the old man would live when he uncast the spell. When the pair had done all they could, Shinu stepped outside and quickly tracked down the newcomer, frozen in the halted river of time. Delivering a bone-shattering right hook to the jaw that she would not feel for a few moments more, he walked to a safe place and layed down in the street, tracing the circle in the air with his finger, and time began to flow again.
