Fantasy Anything Goes

"It's alright," She kept her eyes on the kettle. She didn't bother look back at him. A silly idea crossed her mind. 'What if I looked back at Hunter and he wasn't there; maybe I was just hearing things.' She scoffed mentally, but quickly checked over her shoulder to make sure he truly was there.

(And now I'll be gone for about half an hour, if my phone cooperates I'll respond, otherwise I'll talk to you guys when I get back!)

He leaned forward a bit so that he could still look her in the eyes. "Then we'll look out for each other." He said after a moment. He didn't want her to leave, and he was willing to try anything to convince the girl to stay. He didn't want any of them to leave, especially not her.

The dragon continues his ascent and climbs up onto the top of Shinu's head. Victoria looks at the dragon and giggles. She carefully picks him up and sets him in her lap. "What if I actually hurt people next time it happens? I wouldn't be able to live with myself.

He simply shrugged and said "Then make sure you hurt the right ones". Thus far, he'd managed to avoid killing anyone since he'd arrived in town. He'd only taken five lives in total, and each of them had sorely deserved it. It was every wolf's duty in life to learn to coexist with their inner beast, to master it as they mastered themselves. The animal side was treated as a weapon amongst his kind. Use it only when absolutely necessary. An idea struck him, and he acted upon it before he even knew what he was doing. "Can I tell you something?" He asked.

Victoria nods. "Anything." She scratches the dragon's chin and he rolls over in her lap, exposing his belly. She rubs his stomach and he begins to make a sound similar to a cat purring.

He smirked as he leaned closer and stole a quick kiss, lingering for just a moment before leaning back and patting her head a few times. "You talk too much, sometimes." He said with a playful sarcasm in his voice as he got to his feet and slipped out into the living room, quietly shutting the door behind him. Walking to the kitchen, he struck a match and lit a cigarette, his mind already at work. "Aileada?" He called out with a humble voice. "I need your help with something, when you have a minute."

Aria needed to do some research, and she made sure to stay in public areas to avoid getting caught. It was clear Somiss had found her. She was being watched. She kept seeing his Assasins all over the city rooftops, and they were getting closer. Finally she found the library. She quickly walked in and looked to the librarian. The scrawny man was about to speak but Aria waved her hand, and he fell to the floor in a deep sleep. She then dug into the books and started searching for history on Somiss.

Victoria's cheeks turn red. She didn't talk too much. She sets the small dragon back on the canvas. He curls up into his original position and sinks back into the canvas. "Goodnight, little guy," she says softly. She falls back on her bed and looks at her ceiling.

Victoria gets up and walks out into the living room. She sees Shinu was smoking and walks over to him. She takes the cigarette and flicks it out the window. "No smoking in my house. I can't be sending people art that smells like smoke."

Hunter chuckled as he saw Victoria flick Shinu's cigarette out of the window from the kitchen "well she has a point, no one likes a smokey painting."

Her attention was drawn away from her reflection in the silver kettle as her name was called. "Hmm?" She turned, heading to exiting the kitchen when she almost ran into Shinu. "Woah! Hey," She smiled steppeing back. "What can I do for ya?"

He blushed sheepishly as he scratched behind one ear. "Sorry. I forgot about that rule." He said as he turned his attention to Aileada. "Can we walk and talk?" He inquired with a shy tone in his voice. "This requires cigarettes."

She shrugged her shoulders. "Sure, I don't see why not." Once outside of Victoria's house she turned back to Shinu, her hands buried deep in her jean pockets. "Any place in particular you were looking to walk to, or just wander aimlessly?"

He shrugged as he struck a match and lit a fresh cigarette. "Wandering is what I do best." He replied as he stepped down from the stone porch and into the front yard, a serious look filling his eyes.

Hunter watched the two leave the house and looked back to Victoria "well their away i might as well finish here, How do you like your coffee Victoria?" He asks the dragoness.

She glanced at him occasionally as they began walking. Her first thought was to ask him what was up, but with men it seemed that it was better to wait for them to begin. It was a relatively nice day out, the warm shine of the sun evening out with the autumn breeze made the surrounding temperature comfortable. Though winter was approaching, so it was bound to grow colder and the hours of daylight would shorten.

Victoria smiles. "I can get it. Thank you though." She gets a few mugs from a cabinet and sets then on the counter. She pours her coffee and puts a little bit of sugar in it. She takes a seat at the kitchen table and pulls of a pad of watercolor paper in front of her.

Hunter shrugged and sat across from her "ya know I'd like to apologize about our first meeting" he said while looking out a window.

Victoria looks up at him. "It's alright. I don't think that was a good day for any of us." She takes a small sip of her coffee and looks back down at her paper.

Hunter smiled slightly as he saw a mockingbird "Either way, I'd like to help you control your problem," he said as he looked at her

Shinu took a lond puff before speaking. "Back to our conversation about your book. What does it contain?" He asked, trying to broach the subject carefully. Tsatsu had already been here multiple times, so he had to have known about the book as well. And if Tsatsu had taken an interest in the book, it was probably best to know what he'd be dealing with. Not to mention the idea that it may hold knowledge that might aid him and Victoria in controling their beastly sides.

Aileada sighed as her gaze dropped to the ground. "Ah, so that's what we're out here talking about." She took a deep breath and look back up. "It's beautiful isn't it? How everything fits so naturally, even the man made things." He gaze seemed distant and clouded. "How things that were never meant to be, are?" She continued staring off as they walked.
