Fantasy Anything Goes

Shinu simply picked the bundle of shirts up and folded them neatly, placing them back in the drawer in which they belonged. Little did Victoria know, the wolf could be immensely stubborn when he wanted to. As of to accentuate this, he crossed his arms and stuck out his tongue and blew a raspberry at Victoria as though he were a rather tall child.

Aria watched them sprint off and got there seperate ways. She pulled out her iphone as it went off and unlocked it. She quickly dialed a number and spoke in a low serious tone. "We've got a problem Serana." The female voice spoke in a alerted voice it serious through the phone "How long?" The voice asked. "I had suspicions. But know I know. He's back. And this towns his first victim." She replied. The phone hung up and Aria strolled down the streets.

Tsatsu giggled with delight and twitched his ears as he spoke. "Ah, but to decide for you would take away any form of sacrifice on your part. And that's not how I do business. You do want your books back, do you not?" He inquired as he leaned back, resting his weight on his hands.

Shinu stepped in front of the door and raised an eyebrow with a look that said 'And just how do you plan on doing that?'. He would not yield, no matter what she said or did. Anyone could have done any number of horrible things by now. But they hadn't. They all had chosen not to destroy, and the few fights that had broken out had been resolved in a generally peaceful manner. Didn't that count for something?

She set her hands on the back of her head, laying back. "But I wouldn't be sacrificing anything. Get a kiss or read the book. Neither really matter." There was a moment of silence before Aileada sat back up with a more cautious look on her face. "But there are few rules if you read my book." She held up a finger as she began. "One, the book must remain in my room while you're reading it. And two, if you read past page 6,935 you can't tell me what it says. Got it?" She stared at him with a dead face, her eyes cold and sharp.

"Hello friends."

Zodiac appeared on the ceiling of Alieada's room, looking down at her with his mask.

"Just wanted to drop by. Man I feel dumb for being such a crybaby..."

He let a nervous laugh escape his mouth and he dropped from the ceiling and landed on a pocket of air, floating.

Tsatsu flashed a dangerous smile as he sat up and brushed aside a lock of his jet black hair. "They may not matter this very moment. But they will, in time." He replied as he tilted his head to the side in curiousity. "But I do give my word. If you choose to let me read, I will not speak of what I find beyond that 6,935th page." He said as he twitched his ears again. "You still have to choose, Aileada. That is my stipulation. You must choose your fate, because it is yours. There's no loophole for you to exploit here." He said with a devillish chuckle.

Though her book was more precious to her than a kiss, she felt that there was more to it then he was letting on. "I guess I'll chose door number one." The words repeated in her head, trying to convince herself it was the better option. Standing up, she began towards the stairs before turning back to Tsatsu. "You coming?"

Shinu uncrossed his arms, gently laying his hands on her shoulders and gazing down at her with a deeply imploring look in his eyes. There had to be something he could do, some way to convince her to stay. Were he medically able to, he'd argue and fuss and yell and sing until his voice gave out all over again. But to speak would mean more damage to his voice, and probably unintentionally spitting blood onto her as well. His eyes began to tear up as he silently cursed the Fates that had put him in such a predicament. It was his fault she wanted to leave, just like everyone else, he'd pushed her away as well. But surely something could be done.

Tsatsu leaped to his feet with glee and followed after Aileada, giggling like a schoolboy. So much to do, and all the time in the world to do it. "Oh, how splendid this will be! You see, mon petít cheri, I too have a love of books. They bring such joy, in such subliminal ways!" He said in a delightedly sinister tone. "After all, what better reality could be found than one that might mimic our own, someday?"

The young lycan was at a loss for words. Why could she not stay? What was so terrible about staying here? His hands dropped away from her shoulders as a wave of dizzines swept over him like a tidal wave. Leaning back against the door, he sank to the floor like a doll tossed aside and fought the urge to weep. In his mind, he cursed the gods one by one, damning each of them for allowing history to repeat itself. And so, in an act of finality, he did the best he could to speak, his words barely understandable and not more than wheezing noises. "Pleass....staaa. Fohmeh. Plea. Don goawahhh." A small trickle of blood threatened to spill from his lips, but he swallowed hard and choked back the tears.

Victoria looks down at him and sighs. She sits down in front of him and a tear cascades down her cheek. "I just..." Her words trail off and she burries her face in her hands.

After a few moments he darted forward and wrapped his arms around her, tightly embracing her and resting his chin on the crook of her shoulder as he tried to speak again, leaving a small splatter of blood on the back of her shirt. "Plea staa...Ihelh yuu. I helhh." He wheezed through clenched teeth and torn vocal chords. But if it would convince her to stay, he would speak until his lungs gave out.

His only reply was to shake his head. He no longer cared about the pain in his throat, or the amount of blood he might have been losing. The pain in his chest was nothing to him, in comparison to the pain of losing someone who called him friend. It was the first time someone had ever called him that. Until now everywhere he'd gone he'd simply been known as the nice doggy with the tool box, or the sad puppy in the corner of the room. He'd never truly had a friend before, nor had he felt the compulsion to stay anywhere permenantly. It was a good kind of different, and as much as it scared him, he wanted it all the more.

Victoria stays silent. She didn't know what to say. Didn't know how to comfort him. She hugs him tighter and tries to think of a way to fix the mess she had caused.

He leaned back after what seemed like an eternity, gazing at her with eyes that begged for her to stay. All at once, an idea came to mind, and he desperately gestured for her to give him something to write on.

Victoria gives him a look. She had paper everywhere. She grabs a sketchbook and a pencil from her nightstand and gives them to him.

The sun hung low in the sky, causing the blue atmosphere to bleed a variation of yellows, oranges, and pinks. The wind picked up, scattering the ashes and debris of the bookstore around the streets. It gave the small town a foggy look, a hue of grey suppressing the color. Aileada continued down the street beside the young Lycan. A shiver ran up her spine as goosebumps formed along her arms. The temperature was dropping rather quickly. She quickly focused on something else, hoping she wouldn't feel the cold as strongly. Her gaze came to rest on Tsatsu. 'What was his motive behind the idea of a kiss? Did it allow him some control over me? Did it give him a summary of my life? Why the hell would he offer that as a form of payment?'

Serana strolled through the chaotic town. Poor sods. This was only the beginning. She was more then suprised when she heard Somiss was back. She's been alive for thousands of years and so has he. She helped put him in the tombs. Serana stopped as the smell of a lycan entered her nose. No, two. One was in a building. She could sense the differance. Because it was farther. She wore skinny black jeans with a transparent black long sleeved blouse with a black tank top under it. Along with some leather ankle black boots.

Serana found Aria, her blonde golden hair was so easy to spot. She was at Arias side in an instant, her vampiric speed making her movements a blur. The two walked together and Serana spoke first "How bad?"

Aria smiled as she felt the rush of wind greet her before Serana was at her side. Her face went serious. "A month. How long you say this village has? I'll answer. Not long enough. We can't go around telling people a evil Demi-God has awoken. I don't know how long I can keep running Serana. He's gonna want to kill you too, so why'd you come here? You know the consequences. "

"Because I'm here to end his life." She said dangerously. As she kept eyes on a young lycan.

Tsatsu couldn't contain himself any longer, and spome to Aileada at last. "The kiss was nothing more than my way of ruffling a few feathers around here, mademoiselle. It gives me no control, no summation of your existence. No, no, it only would've given me the satisfaction of watching those who desire you twist and squirm in fury. You are quite the radiant young lady, Aileada, I will certainly agree with them there. The only difference is that I won't waste your time with cooing and heroics. You will choose as you see fit, or not choose at all, and that's that." He said as a sadistic smile spread over his face. "And the number you just thought of, to test me? It was seven, but now you're trying to convince yourself that you'd chosen three instead." He said as he kept a seat in his thoughts reserved for Aria and Serana. So, the little twits aimed to kill him? Mixed him up with some dolt named Sommis? That was fine by him. He'd butcher the two, do as he intended, and be on his merry way before the week was out. It was all too amusingly delightful, and he quietly chuckled at all the fun he was going to have on his little vacation here.

Shinu graciously accepted the paper and began to scribble as quickly as his hands would move, writing in raw and jagged letters, but it was readable none the less. "I want you to stay. I NEED you to stay. I'll help you control your beast, and you can help me control mine. And we can be-" He stopped short and sat upright, wide eyed in terror. Something was coming. Something terrible was coming, and it was going to make Tsatsu very angry. In a state of mute frenzy, he grabbed Victoria's hand and stared at her in wide-eyed fear, mouth agape yet unable to move or think. The sensation was unlike any he'd felt before. He began to write again, pressing down so strongly that the tip of the pencil snapped and tore through the paper in random spots. "WE HAVE TO STOP THEM FOLLOW ME." He scrawled, holding the paper up for her to see and jabbing his finger intensely at the last part.
