Fantasy Anything Goes

Victoria's face drains of color and becomes nothing more than sheer panic. She nods and gets to her feet. Quickly digging through her closet, she pulls out her pistol. By the look on Shinu's face, she assumed she was going to need it today.

Aria stopped and looked at Serana. "Didn't dad ever tell you it was rude to stare. Why do you keep staring?" Serana dragged her eyes away from the the lycan. "We can't trust anybody, Aria. Let's just say I have a bad past with lycan's. Besides, Somiss can take the form of anything. If he'd have to take shape of anything, I'd be a powerful creature. Like a lycan."

Aria crossed her arms. "Fine just don't attack anyone unless they provoke us first. I mean it Serana. You always jump to conclusions." Both girls looked up at a rooftop, both seeing a black figure out of the corner of thier eyes. Before it dissapeared behind the rooftop.

"We're being watched. Let's keep moving." Serana said in a low voice before quickening their pace.

Shinu leaped to his feet and spun around, gesturing for her to climb onto his back. This solved two problems. One, he could run faster without having to drag her by the hand. Two, if he shifted (and he would probably need to, very soon) Victoria would essentially be riding on the back of a canine hellstorm.

Victoria jumps up into his back and wraps her arms around his neck, careful not to choke him. She didn't know what was happening, but whatever it was, it was something big.

Soul gets on their hoody, it has been a while since they have gone out. About two months... They don't need to eat but that isn't a problem, they just like to go out sometimes. ( using non definitive pronouns till gender is decided ) @anyone

Aileada let out a sarcastic laugh. "Ah yes, me and my entourage of men." She rolled her eyes. The two continued down the street until reaching her apartment building. The red brick building seemed to crumbling at the seams, but had continued to hold it's ground. She walked into the building, up a flight of stairs and stopped in front of a white door with the numbers 213 carved into the wood. "Welcome to my humble abode." Aileada swung her arms out exaggeratedly, before continuing past the living room, down the hall, and into her room. "Leave the door open for a few minutes for Duchess." The old Scottish deerhound had been following the two a few paces behind them. Aileada was quite aware of the pup's presence, and assumed Tsatsu knew as well.

(just a note, I call every dog a puppy, no matter how old they get)

Tsatsu made a strange face as the familiar smell of his brother pervaded his nose. What was Shinukara doing out at this hour of the night? He shrugged off the smell and entered the house, smiling contently as Dutchess came in at his heels. Closing and locking the door behind him, he decided to be polite and wait for Aileada before he made himself at home, and spoke to Dutchess in his native language. The dog seemed to understand and simply nodded before wandering off into the house. He and his brother shared a unique bond with the natural aspects of the world around them, especially with other canines. He'd always enjoyed that part the most, and always took the time to commune with an animal whenever the opportunity presented itself. "This is quite a lovely home you have here. Very cozy indeed." He called out to her as he looked around. The place certainly had a certain air of familiarity to it, as if he'd been here before in some past life.

As soon as Victoria had climbed onto his back, he ran out to the street and sprinted for town as fast as his legs could carry him. Those imbeciles! How could they be so stupid?! Yes, Tsatsu was far from a shining example of goodness and justice, but to set out on a task to kill him?! Were they insane or simply on a suicide mission? When they arrived in town, he carefully placed Victoria down on her feet and pointed to his nose. He intended to sniff the pair of usurpers out and ambush them, and he did the best he could to wxplain this with hand gestures. Even if he were able to speak, it still sounded insane. But to provoke Tsatsu would surely mean Liondil's total annihilation. And so, he set out to find the newcomer and whatever nutjob she'd brought into town. He had the distinct feeling that someone was going to die tonight, and the killing would be savored immensely.

Victoria follows Shinu, trying to stay calm. Her hands were trembling and the color still hasn't returned to her face. She looks around nervously.

"Thanks," She called back. She exited her room, having retired her jeans for comfortable, fuzzy, checkered pj pants. "You can sit down if you'd like. Make yourself comfortable." She continued into the kitchen and grabbed an apple. "Can I get you anything?"

Aria shook her head. "I say we finds place here. Somiss will never attack us publicly." Serana looked at Aria like she was insane. "Somiss has killed armies Aria! He's probobly plotting my death as we-" Serana stopped walking and grabbed Aria's arm. "Somebody is coming." Serana spoke in almost a whisper. Looking around. She could here it. She sniffed it was the lycan she smells in the home earlier. And another scent she couldn't quite place.

Serana let out a gasp, as she felt a sudden burning sensation on her arm, a message was being burnt unto her arm, the smell of burning flesh arising: BARK AND I BITE- S. Serana cursed silently and showed Aria her arm. Aria bit her lip as she saw the message from Somiss. Aria put her hands on Seranas arm, slowly healing it.

Aria worried for Serana. Her sister charged into things without thinking and if they were being followed. If it was Somiss they'd be running so who was it?

Tsatsu seated himself in a nearby chair, suddenly feeling a migraine coming on. "Whiskey, if you don't mind." He said with an unusual gentleness in his voice. What in Hell's name was making his ears ring so viciously? Such chaotic thoughts. So scrambled and frantic. It was even making Shinu panic. Was that what had lured him out, the presence of those two bungling stalkers? He tried to shake it off, but the ringing in his ears would not fade. And for a split second, his eyes went wide as the realisation came to him. Shinu was on the verge of shifting. "Oh dear Goddess...." he whispered to himself as he quickly feigned his composure. The little swindlers had been the final straw in what appeared to be a very stressful set of days for his brother, and things were about to get very heavy very quickly. But what to do? Make a play for the book, or save his nuisance of a brother yet again? With a quiet growl, he rose to his feet and began to roll up his sleeves. "Aileada, I need you to stay here. No matter what happens or what you hear, you stay inside and keep the door locked. Understand?" He said as he quickly moved to the door. As quick as his fingers would move, he loosened his tie and removed his vest followed swiftly by his tie and shirt. Hanging the items on a coat hook by the door, he prepared for what was sure to be a very long night. He cast one last look over his shoulder to the kitchen. "Never you fear, mon petit, I'll be back in just a moment. Then we'll have that drink and take a peek at that book, yes?"

Aria could feel something bad. Lower then Somiss bad, but still bad. She felt as if tension itself was breathing on the back of her neck. She could feel the aura. "Serana.." Aria warned. As soon as she got Seranas arm healed. They stepped into an ally. "We need a place to stay. It's dark and I don't fancy being followed by something and an a thousand year old Demi- God. I'm sure there's a motel or something." Serana just nodded and the two girls quickened there pace as they walked around the small town.

Shinu came around the corner and was met by a bone-crushing chill. Tsatsu was very close by, and he was far from happy. Holding up a hand in signal for Victoria to stay hidden, he dropped to his knees in a silent scream as the change overcame him. In a matter of seconds, the frail young wolf transformed into an eight foot tall roaring mass of fur and fangs. The beast threw his head back and let out a howl that split the sky, calling to his brother.

Aria turned sharply around as a future approached them. In the shape of man, his black hair gleaming in the night sky and his ice cold eyes seem to look through her soul. Aria took a step back as the male voice said "Hello Aria." Somisses voice rang coldly, amusement in his voice as he stepped closer.

Serana's face contorted in anger, but her heart raced in fear. She jumped to lash out at him but he raised his palm, making her unable to move, standing like a stick would.

Somisses smirk grew colder. A deep hate surging in him but his face remain calm and cold. "Serana, Yours was the face I remembered when trapped in a tomb for centuries. But alas you cannot imprison a Demi-God." His smirk grew colder, "This town is my new toy. Each person is my puppet. And your my guests of honor. " she suddenly lashed out and grabbed Serana and Arias arms, holding them there by force with magic. A blue symbol was burned into thier palms. "You won't leave until I'm dead." He leaned in close to a struggling Serana and whispered "I'm going to make you want to end your life by the time I'm done with you two." he whispered coldly. Before he was gone completly. Leaving the two standing thier paralyzed in shock and fear.

(Night guys!!)

Victoria covers her ears and frantically looks around for a place to hide. She was never good at hide and seek as a child, and she still wasn't good at it today.

Aileada turned, holding an apple and a bottle of whiskey. She raised an eyebrow as she watched Tsatsu remove his vest, tie, and shirt. "I'll need drink first if we're going to get that friendly." She smirked as she began unscrewing the cap on the bottle. Tsatsu spoke quickly with a sense of urgency, but Aileada only nodded nonchalantly. "Alright, don't stay out too late." She then took a generous swig from the bottle.

With a playful wink, he opened the door and stepped out into the street, allowing the change to overcome him. In the passage of a few heartbeats, he transformed into a jet black eight foot tall behemoth of fur and bad temper. Locking his gaze with his brother, he returned the howl and spoke, despite his now primal physicality. "Take them. The blonde is mine." The beast snarled, and the two of them sprinted off to hunt Aria and Serana, growling and snarling as they went. For a brief moment, there was a glint of sadness in Shinu's eyes. He had hoped that no one would see him like this. But it was too late, the beast had already been awakened, and it would not stop until its wrath had been satisfied. Shinu took the lead and sped off down an alleyway with Tsatsu hot on his heels, following from the rooftops. One above and one below was their method, as they'd been taught in their youth. As they drew closer, the two beasts fell silent and blended into the evening, vanishing from sight as if they'd never existed in the first place. Alone, each of them possessed a terrifying prowess and could easily overpower conventional tactics and firepower, but together they were unstoppable hunting machines that would not rest until they were thoroughly bathed in the blood of their prey.

Victoria watches the two beasts run off. She looks around in a panic. What was she supposed to do? She couldn't force herself to change, otherwise she would help. What was happening? She begins to walks slowly down the sidewalk, keeping alert as she went.

Breathing. Snarling dog breath. That's what Seranas ears picked up on. "Aria get up a supernatural barrier. We've got lycan's on the hunt." She said with authority in her voice. She jumped, pulling Aria unto a rooftop along with her. Aria out up a barrier and both looked down from the rooftops silently and alert. Watching.

Victoria continues to walks quietly, keeping a steady pace. She notices people on some of the buildings. What was going on? She gulps, trying her best to stay calm.

By the time the two had made it to the roof and established the barrier, the two lycans had already set their trap. The girls had simply picked a bad spot to set an ambush, and the twin brothers took full advantage of this. An older building, with an unstable roof, and bad plumbing. They struck simultaneously, attacking from opposite sides. While Tsatsu leaped from the shadows and used his combined weight and natural gravity to cave in the roof beneath their feet, Shinu heaved his body through brick and stone; breaching an exterior wall with the force of an armored vehicle. Without breaking momentum, the white lycan charged through the building, using his body like a wrecking ball to attack any support structures. With the two of them leaping about in such a vicious manner, the building crumbled in seconds and tumbled down in a storm of dust that filled the immediate neighborhood. The bloodthirsty creatures had caused the building to collapse, trapping the four of them in the rubble.

Serana put grabbed Aria just in time as the building collapse, using her back so that Aria would land on her instead of the cold floor. Only a steak in the heart or decaptation would kill Serana. Aria was a witch. Anything could kill her. But she'd be hard. Aria rolled of Serana and Serana groaned, landing still hurt a lot. And some debris was on her leg. Aria stood and used magic to lift the cement off Serana. Aria put up an invisable barrier around them, it would block attacks and prevent anything from coming through temporarily. "Serana, why are they attacking us?" A mass of debris from the building surrounded them. And the way out was uncertain.

"I don't know. But they won't stop until we're dead." Serana said as they stood back to back, the invisible barrier surrounding them in a dome like fashion.

Tsatsu burst from the rubble, roaring with white hot fury. Scrambling to his feet, he saw that the two heathens had cast some form of magical barrier around themselves, and the lycan snarled and let out a terrible roar of frustration. First they plotted to kill him, and then hid behind cheap tricks and illusions? Were they insane, or simply ignorant? But he was pleasantly surprised when Shinu burst from the rubble beneath the two, inside of their precious bubble, and siezed each of them by their heads in a crushing grip that deprived them of the oxygen they so desperately needed. Tsatsu couldn't suppress a wolfish grin at the sight of them. Their tiny skulls barely fit in his brother's massive talons, and Shinu could easily crush them both if he wanted to. But the snow-colored sibling of his wasn't done playing just yet. Shinu stepped forward, dispelling their barrier with a mighty stomp of the ground, and approached his ebony sibling, holding one arm out as he offered Serana to Tsatsu. They both had determined what she was, and Tsatsu hated vampires more than anything else on the planet. The gods and demons did not anger him as much as vampires did. Tsatsu leaned closer and snarled, staring into Serana's eye with a look that clearly communicated his message. There would be no mercy, and their deaths would be slow and agonizing.
