Realistic or Modern ANIME Slice Of Life RP [OPEN]

Matthew Yukimura was "hanging out" as the young people said, in the stairwell of the condo. He was sipping on a cup of coffee and looking over some of his students' papers on the fifth floor. He sighed as he read through the essay, it seemed that the poetic language and love of culture was more prominent in Europe than in Japan. The papers were factually correct, but lacked any sort of passion for the material. Suddenly he heard a commotion from the lower floors, as he looked down the stairwell he saw a pack of local students trying to move a piano. He called out to them.

"Hey there kids! That looks heavy, y'all want some help?"

Sakura wasn't new to the condominium but there seemed to be a lot of new people moving into her apartment. She had only lived here about two weeks so things were still quite new to her. She was supposed to be starting college tomorrow's so right now she was breathing in her last breaths of freedom. She walked back to where she would be residing and went into the lobby. There, she got some water and sat on one of the plush couches and watched the people as they went to reception and got their keys, etc.

Kayano did nothing bay stay silent, focusing on getting the piano up to the 6th floor, a lot of people were coming to help which did relieve a lot of stress on her shoulder. But she didn't really care, she just wanted to help. And get back to the 5th floor and meet up with Amaterasu.

"Nah I think the first floor is still mostly vacant the sixth floor just has a better view." Daiki said as the group made good progress it made everything much easier that he had people helping. The group made it to the fifth floor at a rather fast pace and as they did it seemed someone else was willing to help, it seemed he picked a good place to live everyone was so helpful. "If you would sir that would be great" Daiki said as the man offered the group help. "Only one more floor to go." Daiki stated however he was slowly starting to lose his grip.

"Maybe a electric piano would have been easier...." He'd say he readjusts his grip so he doesn't drop it. "But I guess it is your choice to lug this around."

Milas saw the owner of the piano was having trouble keeping hold of his part. She adjusted all the weight of her part to one hand and use the other to take his part a moment for him to adjust.

"Alright then kids, hang loose." Matthew said, making one of his famous failures to sound cool. He made his way down the stairs and began pulling the piano up towards the fifth landing. It was certainly heavy, probably about the same as two or three of the heavy bags down at his mom's dojo. Mostly it was just oddly shaped.

When they finally reached the 6th floor Kayano moved her left hand out from under the piano, not seeming to struggle and she pushed some hair out of her face and returned her hand. "What room?" she asked.

Daiki quickly readjusted his hands as one of the group give him a chance to. Daiki shrugged at the mans statement about a electric piano it was true but he never liked them unlike a real one. As the group reached the sixth floor Daiki smiled. "Just leave it right here I can handle it from here." Daiki said gently putting the Piano down. Daiki walked backwards and bowed to the group. "Thank you for all your help." Daiki said before he stood back normally. "Maybe I could play for you all one day." Daiki said before he opened room number eight.

Milas looked at the boy wondering if everyone was moving in and nodded. Kiara mewed from the backpack again, wanting out. Milas retrieved the Siamese and held her once more.

Amaterasu would finally locate her room on the fifth floor, walking in and smelling the drywall. Kayano and Amaterasu had, before they moved in, asked for them to paint all of the walls over, and to repair all of the scratches on the wall. Of course, it did cost extra, but Kayano comes from an extremely wealthy family. She would throw her duffle bags on the floor, since all of the furniture was wrapped in plastic wrap, in order to preserve it and keep it dust-free. After spending 10 minutes of just removing the plastic off of all of the furniture, she sweeped the house and threw away all of the dirt and plastic. She would then plop down on the couch, switching on the TV.

Kayano nodded, she was moving in with her best childhood friend Amaterasu. But she got ditched when he was asking for help.

He would notice the cat but then put it aside. "Well then I guess I'll see all of you around." He'd then turned around heading down the stairs to his room on floor 4.

Kayano sighed, taking the silence as to leave and spun on her heel going to the stairs, not even bothering to say goodbye. She walked to the 5th floor and to her room, using the key she unlocked it and walked in. "Thank's for ditching me back there." Kayano said to Amaterasu as she locked the door.

@ismaddy

She'd laugh to herself, staring at her. "You know.." Amaterasu would start, crossing her legs, "he was pretty cute. Maybe you can.. help him lug.. heavier things in the future?" She'd start to laugh, holding her stomach.

Kayano didn't react and instead shook her head at the strong sense of paint in the room. "It stinks in here." she said as she made her way over to the couch.

@ismaddy

"We should repaint it." She said, looking around. "How about cream?" The entirety of the walls would be white, except for one wall which would be a light gray. "Or blue.." She'd say, thinking of different types of furniture she could use to compliment the wall colors.

After moving into his new home and getting settled in he decided to head to the shopping district. He'd left his room and headed down the stairs to the lobby.

Kayano shrugged. "It's your choice, as long as you don't mess with my room." Kayano said, glancing in all of the rooms, there were two rooms the exact same sides of each other so she assumed those were the bedrooms. "We'll go grocery and furniture shopping tomorrow." She said.

Milas looked at the boy who owned the piano. They were the only two left in the sixth floor hallway. She didn't know whether to head to her room or try to make conversation.

Daiki simply listened to the group it seemed that everyone was moving in which was good since everyone seemed friendly. Daiki picked up the front of his piano and slowly pushed it ensuring not to damage it. He managed to get it to the door, he then removed the legs of the piano and tilted it onto its side and slowly slid it through. He then added the legs back on and placed it right in the center of his room. The rest of Daiki's things were coming the next day he just had a bag inside the piano's chair filled with clothing for a week. Daiki placed his chair in the right place and changed its height so it was perfect. He then decided to look outside the door and noticed that they still was a girl there. Daiki just simply looked at her maybe she was on this fight. Daiki just simply stared at the girl awkwardly he wasn't one for conversation.

@DragonFangs

"I'm exhausted." She would say, laying her head on Kayano's lap. It was only a matter of time before she pushed her off, but it was still worth a try.

Kayano gave her an annoyed look and quickly stood up. "You're exhausted? I literally just helped someone carry their piano up 6 floors." Kayano said, she turned the TV off.

@ismaddy

Kiara climbed up to sit on Milas's shoulder. The cat was very small for her age. Milas gestured to the piano.

"The piano...it's very nice. I...always wanted to learn...to play..."

Her voice was quiet but audible.
