Katherine turned on the transmission throughout the city. Satellites pointed to Lithium, forming a massive parabola in space. The dish blocked out a part of the sun, leaving a ring in the sky. People would find that their phones stopped working for the five minutes of this transmission. Radio towers pointed to the satellites and began transmitting. The giant dish bounced the signal centrally into the GLASS tower, then transmitting it outwards throughout Lithium. Every single electronic device would begin to static, then transmit the message, so everyone could see this.

The image of Katherine in a sleeveless jumpsuit sitting at a desk with her hands folded over each other peered into the camera with professionalism. Her piercing eyes were defined by the camera, as if the focus of the film were her eyes. Her red hair was tied neatly into a bun on the back of her head. She was leaning slightly forward, and there was a hundred percent professional look on the woman's face.


"Hello. This is Katherine Cardinal. I am the acting leader of GLASS, as you know, which is a new presence in the city. Now, we have been here for a few weeks without saying anything. How rude of us, right? Well, I am here to make that all up to you. The first official Lithium GLASS rally begins in two days and will last for a week. There, we will introduce the subcommanders. Sub 1, the warrior, is Jonathon. Sub 2, the recon scout, is Thomas Martinez. Sub 3..." The transmission cut, as Katherine faked saying something. The transmission returned, only showing Tristin's name. "...Tristin Winters. Jonathon is the first samurai Subcommander in the history of GLASS since 1273. Tristin Winters is the youngest GLASS subcommander in the history of GLASS since 882. Thomas Martinez is the first GLASS subcommander with piercing blue eyes since 928. This year, GLASS has brought back the smoothie machine, as well. Be sure to attend the GLASS rally, for it will be going for three days. Then, we will proceed with the reason for our existence in this city. You are no longer to live in fear of criminals. You are no longer going to leave home with the fear that you will not return the next day. Thank you for welcoming GLASS to Lithium!"

Sky would get a transmission his screen and listened. Seems the girl became a subcommander, but what surprised him more was Jonathon. Of course he had figured Jonathon would sign up for this. He had talked about honoring his duty as a samurai.


"So Jonathon's here? It's been awhile, but I'm sure it'll be fine. It's Jonathon I'm talking about." He would just lie down and began to think about a few things.

(GLASS has had various leaders from being around this long. I think the first GLASS leader was a brontosaurus. Look how far GLASS has gone...from Brontosaurus, to Neanderthal, to the first city state aristocrats, to a samurai, to a knight, then to a plague doctor, then to a guy with an afro, then to Brendan, first gay commander, and finally we are here with a busty redhead who shows no emotion.)

Jonathon would hear the announvement. "I'm fairly surprised about GLASS's long history. It certainly is something of interest. In any case let's find the other two shall we?" He wondered if Sky was listening in, but really it didn't matter that much. At best they were old teammates... not friends.


Flashback


As the young recruits went to meet with their teammates an eager Jonathon would meet up with his teammate. "Ah hello there. You must be my assigned teammate. My name is Jonathon and I hope we can become an excellent team."


His partner stayed silent before telling him his name. "... Nice meeting you. If your going to ask... no I don't have a name."


Jonathon was intrigued to find that his teammate didn't have a name. "Really is that true? Well... in any case let's do our best." His teammate stayed silent for the remainder of the orientation.

Thomas tilted his head "How have they survived for so long. For all we know these guys have been here since the stone age. Piercing blue eyes? Wow not the best trait," he said chuckling as he sat down on the bed to think about it.

Tristin laughed. "Hey, I think Jonathon and Paige are on their way back. Let's start making out to make them feel awkward!" Tristin pushed Thomas on the bed and kissed him intently for five second before jumping off the bed and trying to at least be professional. "Nothing personal Thomas, just that we're subcommanders. We should at least try to be mature in front of them." Tristin walked to the other side of the bed and put on a proper shirt before hopping on the bed again.

Jonathon would follow her to the elevator and was also curious as to why she wasn't called. "Perhaps there is a reason. There always is for these sorts of things." He then waits for the elevator to take them to their destinstion.

Right in the middle of an important call, something had interrupted his connection. Bewildered, Don looked at his phone and watched as the new GLASS commander introduced herself. He laughed loudly. "Well, I'll be damned! GLASS is back."


Valentina laid up in bed listening to her dad laugh like an absolute madman and watching TV, which had just been interrupted by some woman just a moment ago. She was talking about something called GLASS... It sounded familiar. The young woman screwed up her face. Yes... She had heard stories about it from someone she couldn't really remember. "Hmm..." Valentina shoved a spoonful of delicious spaghetti-o's in her mouth.

Thomas didn't know how to react "Ok......." Was all he could say before waiting for the two to come into the room. He leaned back on the bed in his starfish formation.


Paige walked out of the elevator "We're here! How is everyone!" She said her whip still out as she walked around the area. Wondering where the other two had been.

Tristin smiled. "I did hear. Hearing is good." Tristin then flopped onto the bed directly on Thomas and debated on whether to lick his face or not. She just decided against it and just held onto him. "We have to get ready for the rally, apparently. Rallies are great, right?" Tristin rolled onto the other side of the bed and dropped down into a handstand. Then she began walking on her hands. "Well, if we're going to do a rally, we might as well wait for instructions. Can any of you guys perform?" Tristin giggled as she walked in front of everyone on her hands before bending back onto her feet.

"Transmission went well. We're going to start with the plans in a few minutes but first, I'm going to need some files." Katherine got into the elevator and began her way to the subcommander rooms.

teal is completely oblivious to the message since her phone... is in the wreck. about an hour after the transmission teal salvaged everything she could with help from the girls mom.

"Er... no I'm afraid I can't perform. I was trained to be a soldier and samurai." Jonathon was actually wondering what this rally would contain. Most obviously a speech by Katherine, but anything else? He was thinking long and hard about it.

Thomas jumped off the bed and cartwheeled towards everyone. "ARE YOU KIDDING! WE WERE BORN TO PERFORM!" He said as he was on his hands. The idea of performing again made his eyes glow blue, a smile across his face was also seen.


Paige ran and jumped onto his feet, she balanced herself before touching the roof. "Performing is our lives, we've been doing it since we were little," she said bending backwards until her hands grabbed the back of her legs.

Thomas looked up "I have a gun," he said moving from his spot and letting Paige fall to the floor. He took the pistol he had from his holster "What do you want me to do," he asked aiming at Jonathan.


Paige curled up into a tight ball when she fell. She rolled around the floor before she went back into her original position. "That was marvelous Trisitn," she said clapping and applauding.
