Fantasy All That Power! (out of character chat)

I just realized that Aleister is pretty underpowered compared to everyone else.

Y'all have elemental powers and shadow powers and such while my guy can phase through anything. I wonder who can win in a straight up death match? Definitely not the wall-phaser, that's for sure.

Dont undersell yourself. You could phase into someone and sacrifice your limb to cause severe "stuff inside internal organs syndrome."
 
We could start the RP, if people aren't opposed to hoppin in a bit later. Maybe noticing some commotion while the one's who were at the party get chased, and get dragged into the situation.

Or, like mine, have been monitored for quite some time and are only now being actively targeted.

I still like my idea, where the gifted beings that aren't within the government are passing through on their way to the outskirts of California. They are walking the streets of Ventura, and are drawn in by the music and lights. From there they all interact with each other, and eventually our wonderful adventure. <3

Is everyone okay if I start either tomorrow morning or the next? I promise to keep the posting to a minimum, I personally don't like having to read too much before I jump in on a role play.
I'm going to have a theme song and everything, if I can figure out how to post one. If not, the one on Azroth's character sheet serves quite well. ~.^

Wrong thread?

So a government-ran party instead of one just on some random street? That could work, but I don’t see any real reason why the government would organize such a thing other than trying to bait out other powered folks. Even then the concept is a bit sketchy considering not all of the interests of all the non-government characters are the same. You could try and cover it up and say it was a private invite party, and the only way you qualified for an invite would be if the government already suspected you of possessing a power in some shape or form. I don’t see it as a “bright lights” party at that point though, rather it gives off the vibe of a formal one.

My character is done, I’m good to start whenever.

I chose the theme song on Azroth's profile with the intention of it describing Azroth. And considering how pretty much everyone is different and...not a giant terrifying alien, I'd doubt if this "menacing" song would be the best to describe the entire rp.
 
Bishop Bishop for sure, I haven't role-played in a while, so I am excited to get this one started~
