Alexander grimaces as he shakes his head, the owl hooting in laughter. Alexander shakes the owl by the throat.


"Who the hell are you laughing at you little ass?!"





He calms down a tad, and looks at Megumi.





"Yeah, I'll be fine. This is what happens when you're too damn tall. Annoying. By the way, where are all the other guards? I hope its not just you."

Arden


Shaking her head at Alice's question, Arden quietly turns around and leaves towards the direction of where she pointed the bathroom to be. It wasn't that she wasn't worried for Takune's whereabouts, it was just more of she wanted to be clean of the drying blood.


Once in the bathrooms Arden washed herself up, the water stained red as it went down the drain. It took a while before the water ran clear, her hair and skin no longer feeling sticky but her hands did look a bit pruney from the water and blood. Washing her clothes, it didn't take long until those dried as well. While she waited for the clothes to dry, Arden cleaned the hand wound and patched it up, also cleaning her fans as well.


Fighting was fun but not beat being squeaky clean. Arden stepped outside the bathroom once she'd completely finished cleaning up. Her kimono back to its vibrant white and her hair no longer stained red at the tips, although it was just a bit damp. Walking back into the kitchen after hearing the dinner bell, Arden secretly hoped that there could be cake. Taking a seat next to Sin, she patiently waited for Santio to bring out the food. While waiting, Arden seemed to be daydreaming, her face no longer had the full expression but rather a very soft innocent seeming one. Caakeee...

Alice let out a frustrated sigh and nodded, watching as the girl left. I guess that means I should go find him. She thought to herself, standing up from her chair and walking back out the direction they came in. Hopefully he's not going to be hard to find. She continued to walk, following the footsteps of the others to the sight of the battle. There were few to none bodies left out there, but there was quite a bit of blood. "Heh, good thing I wasn't here." She said out loud as she paraded throgh the lands. She began to inspect any bodies laying around, until she eventually came across Tatsume (I think). She tapped himge fly with her toe, frowning. "Dude, you ok?"

Megumi gave him a pity laugh at his little tall statement. Fortunately she couldn't understand as she wasn't very tall. "Oh no, my guards are all here. Try are either eating or resting up. We had a hard day today." She explained slowing down to walk with him.

Alexander nods as he walks down the halls of the large Guard Building. Alzie lazily flues in the air, searching for maybe a stray rodent in the building. Alexander examinesnthe building as he speaks.


"You have really made the Empire excited, Megumi. They are all very content with your work, and believe that you really have a good talent in leadership. However.... That event with the Night Raid raised a few questions. Since you are the youngest Captain that the Empire has ever enlisted, they thought it would be a good idea to send me, as I know much about Night Raid."





Santios walks out of the kitchen with several platters being balanced on his arms. He serves Sin a huge cooked Boar with a pitcher if gravy, and he smiles at Arden.





"Don't think I forgot about you."





He serves a large cake in front of Arden as he serves everyone eats their food, and he sits down with his chicken leg, carefully munching away. He pulls out an information report and passes it to Sin.





"Some bad news has been passed from our spy. Apparently, Alexander Holdis has been seen at the Empire Guard Building."

Seeing the large platter of boar and gravy arrive in front of him, Sin widened his eyes and looked to Santios "I remember why I kept you around back on the field..Your food always smells amazing." he exclaimed before digging in, stuffing his mouth and turning his attention back towards Santios after hearing that there was some bad news; Hearing the man's name Sin tilted his head with curiosity painted on his face "Alexander..Holdis..." sternly glaring at the reports he sighed placing the paper down "Never heard of him.." Sin gave Santios and empty glare, as if expecting him to clear the air a little with the situation.

When she heard the door creak, her reflex had her ready herself for a possible threat. After all, she was in an unknown place. Since being 'saved' by her master, she had live with no one else but her, trusted no one else but her. She knew well the sound of master coming into her room and the fact that the door opening now was such an unfamiliar sound, she couldn't help but be alert. When she saw that it was just Kyou, she lowered her guard, but she kept herself alert with his actions, especially since he had her katana with him; however, he made no attempt to do anything and even gave her back her weapon. She took it in her arms.


He proceeded to talking about what she was drugged with and how he fared downstairs. If she was a 'normal' person, she would've laughed, or at least smile, but instead she looked down after. She only looked back up when he explained what the woman drugged her with. A paralytic. That explains why she felt numb and found it quite hard to move earlier. She tested her joints. She could move better now, without having to worry about the pain from her cuts. There was, however, still a lingering pain. He asked her how she was doing and she turned to him with a questioning look on her face.


"I..." she started, testing her voice. "I'm fine, but... why are you helping me?" she asked. She didn't understand his kindness.

Santios takes the paper back as he eats his chicken. He grabs an apple, and munches on it with the chicken.


"Alexander Holdis. He is a general of the Empires Army, and is a dangerous man indeed. He has defeated the entire left sector of the Rebel Army in the East by himself and a small group of Soldiers. He is a master strategist, and is definitely a big problem for the Rebel Army. He also has one of the most frightful imperial arms known to mankind. A deadly force, I can assure you."

Takume grabbed her ankle and groaned out "poison...hel-uh" He collapsed back down loosing all strength in his body he passed out again becoming dead weight his pulse was slow but still there he could think but he couldn't move a muscle come on takume you can do it hang in there she'll take care of you now hopefully you're not too heavy for her but she can get the others

Thrilled at the sight of a large cake in front of her, "Thank you." Her voice, still monotoned, seemed a bit more excited then how she normally did. Eating away at the cake, it was fascinating to see how such a small young girl eat such an enormous portion of cake all on her own. Quietly listening to their conversation, Arden frozen just a bit when she heard the name. She remembered the name, she'd met him once before. Arden hated to admit it but he was terrifying, his personality and all. I've danced for him a few times when he came to conferences with the Governor.. He had seemed pleased with her dancing but when Arden was in his presents, she couldn't look him in the eyes for fear of him.


Recalling back to the first time she had met him, he whipped her when she miss stepped and later on was one of her tormentors when she first attempted to escape. He was one of the three people that she feared most in this world. Just continue eating.. Just continue Arden.. Swallowing down the cake that was now tasteless to her, Arden left the fork hanging from her month as she looked at both man sat at the table.

Alice frowned a bit and bent down to try to pick him up. "Poison eh? I'm sure we got something to help you out." She said, not even sure if Takume could hear her. Luckily Alice was stronger than she looked, and managed to somewhat pick him up/drag him back to the base. She knocked the door open with her hip and closed it with a light kick. "Hey, everyone! We need medical attention!"

Megumi couldn't help but smile as Alexander informed her that the Empire was proud of her. That's all she arrived for, and now she knew she was doing well. "I'm honored that they think that of me, and I'm honored to have you with us. It's been very busy down here with the recent attacks, and I could use some extra help."

Alexander looks down the hall, searching for the other guards.


"I was hoping to meet the other guards. I want to see what I have to look over. It would be nice to see what everyone can do. What is your imperial arm Megumi?"





Santios hears the door kick open, and he rushes over. He sees the poisoned Takume, and he purses his lips together.





"Alright, I can take care of this. Let's take him to the medical room."





Santios helps Alice take him to the medical room. Santios lays the boy down on a bed as he starts to sort through his medical supplies. He rests Takume's head on the pillow as he pulls his arm up, and sticks a needle inside. The green antidote pumps through his veins, and he patches the arm with a bandage as he grabs a warm, wet towel, draping it over the boys head.





"Aright, that was close. He could've died if we were a minute more late."

Alice carried Takume to the medical room and gently placed him down on the table. She watched as Santios went to work, cringing as he brought out the needle. She hated needles a lot. When it was all over, she calmed herself down, and listened to what Santios had to say. "Are you serious, he could've died? I guess that means we would've been saying cyanide-a!" (Haha. Get it? Instead of Sayonara?)


Megumi glanced around the hallways, noticing how it was empty. Maybe they sensed that Alexander was here and they all decided to hide. "My apologies Sir, I will call them out soon." She said, leading him into the dining hall. When he asked about her imperial arm, she glanced down at it. Megumi never left anywhere without it on. "My Imperial Arm is Mass Vortex. (I think) I can absorb projectiles and launch them back."

Alexander nods as he follows Megumi. He listens to her explanation about her Imperial arms.


"Interesting. Mass Vortex.. I remember that Imperial Arm. We had to take it from those goddamn assassins, and it was definitely a victory on our part. Looks like it suits you."





Alexander pulls out his own Imperial Arm from his back, the large Spear known as the Kings Spear: Iron Dragon. He twirls it around before strapping it back on his back, opening the dining hall cabinets and taking out a pastry. He munches on it as he takes a seat.





"Yes, once you get your guards, we can discuss on reports. I want to know what happened with Night Raid."

"Thank you Sir." Megumi replied, watching as he took out his own Imperial Arm. It was a beautiful spear, and she couldn't help but be a little jealous of him. However, she was happy with her own Imperial Arm, and didn't want any other. Jeez, he's jumping right to food. "Make yourself at home, help yourself to food. I'll gather my guards."

Takume groaned "I heard that...not funny...but thanks for saving me" he felt his eyes flutter open ,he always was a quick healer. He slowly sat up and leaned against the wall so he could look at them "sorry I was so angry I didn't even notice he injected me...I'll help clean up the bodies later..." He rubbed his face then raked his fingers through his hair that was a close one... He slowly stood up before falling back on the bed "nope! not yet!" He pulled himself back upright "again I'm sorry..."

Hearing the ruckus that occurred with the whole Takume situation with the poison and all, Arden peeked around the corner to see his condition but not actually stepping into the room. With her was the cake, or what was left of which was only a few bites. "Takume is poisoned? Takume want cake?" Speaking rather softly as she popped her head into the room. Despite the whole talk of Alexander making her tense up, cake seemed to put her in a much calmer and better mood. Although the only thing that changed about her expression was that it wasn't as dull seeming. Cake fixes everything.

Santios chuckles at Alice's joke as he finishes cleaning up the medical room. He sees Arden come in, and remembers that when he brought up Alexander, she got scared.

Takume looked at Arden "um no I'm good some cookies would be nice though someone ate all mine earlier...I seen you fight nice job." He reached over and grabbed a cup of water off the counter drinking it in sips he wasn't healing as fast as he wanted to be ugh you idiot letting your anger get the best of you like that now it's going to take at least a day for you to heal what if more missions come along or more bandits show up you'll be useless you dumbass! He beat himself up over this you could see it in his face that he hated himself right now

There was an uneasy silence between Alex and Marcus that went on four pages longer than it should have. The fact that his badge had fixed all his problem was one factor, the extreme blood loss was another. Fuck, I would have passed out earlier if the fights adrenalin wasn't keeping me awake... The cards floated from Alex's hand, back into the pocket they had come from as Marcus put the badge with them. "I don't wear uniforms, have you tried the base?", that's where she should be right? Marcus stood and waited for further questions as he dug for that business card, where was that guy at again? Liam something?

Takume looked in the corner noticing a wheelchair considering he wouldn't be able to stand for a while he thought it wouldn't be such a bad idea he decided to ask Arden to get it for him "hey Arden would you mind bringing me that wheelchair. I may not be able to stand on my legs anytime soon but I'm not going to sit around like a lazy bum" he said determined not to be weak he remembered how his father always talked about being humble and accepting when you're beat and need help but he was determined to never need anyone as a crutch felt his holster "plus my sword is still out in the woods"

Alice smiled brightly when she made Santios laugh. It was one thing to make people laugh, but hearing Santios laugh, it filled her with an unspeakable joy. "Hey, Santios. Is there any dinner left?" She asked the man, rubbing her stomach softly. "I had to go fetch Takume."

"If you excuse me, I'm going to gather the guards. I apologize for the wait." Megumi said to Alexander, bowing quickly before walking out of the dining hall, knocking on each of the doors. "Get up, we have an important meeting." She said in a lout tone, walking down quickly.

Santios smiles, and nods.


"Of course there is. I left yours in the oven to make sure that it didn't get cold. I also left you strawberry pie as well. Takume, once you feel better, I also made sure to heat up your dinner."
