As they both walk into an alleyway with several farmers markets being opened up, Santios speaks in a softer tone so as for no one to hear.


"To be honest, I've never seen Night Raid this big. I joined just two years after I was in the army, and then uI was transferred to help out with Night Raid. Before I joined Night Raid, however, as you know, I was a General, blah blah blah. I had close ties with the vice leader of the Rebel Army and leader of Night Raid, Damian Clouse. He was a great leader, and I helped out with the guild since three years. Sadly, change is common, and it hit the group hard. Half of our group was slaughtered by the Empire, and Damian sacrificed himself to take out the Leader of the Empire's Army. It was a big blow on both sides, and it set back both sides immensely. Damian was a strong leader, but he didn't trust the guild enough. That's what lednto half of our griups death, and then his. I and two others were the only ones left. I don't know what happened to Clause and Willis. Now, were here with a pretty large group, and efficient at that. Trust me, Sin. If you ever do have questions, I am definitely here."





Santios picks out a few bandages and other medica supplies as he drifts over to a fresh grocery booth, picking out several fruits and vegetables.

Sin just glared at anything Santios picked up before letting out a short sigh "Don't trust enough, you die..Trust too much..You still die.." he exclaimed in a rather agitated tone before picking up an apple out of the bag Santios was carrying taking a bite out of it before talking with half of his mouth still full "Every choice has it's consequences it seems..I wonder how long it will be till I mess up and get myself killed." he didn't seem to show much care about the thought of dying, as far as he knew even if he were to die; There would always be someone to take his place. Sin took another bite from his apple.

Glancing over her shoulder to see Alice leaned up against a wall, "Oh, hello. Thank you.. It was pretty bad to be honest." Speaking rather bluntly about her own fighting skills due to the fact that she's always been critical of her own abilities. "Michio really seems to dislike my presents." Turn back to where her hand was under the water as she tried to continue the conversation as she rubbed the blood from the little crevices and lines on her hand, "May I ask where your bandages and gauzes are located, if you have any?"

Takume sheathed his sword realizing no one was going to spar with him he walked inside to find something to eat. I wonder if one of the newbies can go and buy me some cookies? All he could find that he was in the mood for was a jar of moonshine and a bottle of whiskey not enough to get drunk but enough to enjoy himself. he took a few swigs from of the moonshine before walking around in the woods bored out of his mind. not getting in trouble for training with his imperial arms again...yet...meant he had no chores to do at the moment. Luckily sin hadn't tried to kill him when he tried bribing him with food. He noticed movement in the trees as he was walking. It was bandits that were hired to find the base Can I just finish my drinks for once!? He went to go find sin at once

Santios laughs, buying a large pack of boar meat as he listens about Sin speaking of truth.


"The human body is a unique thing. It gives us the ability to give our trust to others. Sadly, the human that you give the trust to may abuse it. Trust is a heavy pillar that can be easily destroyed, making any nation collapse. Its tough."





Santios sees a little boy walk around with out any shows, his shirt just a large rag that was barely hanging by a thread. Santios's fist tightens as he walks over to the little boy. Smiling, he gives the child some food, and some clothes for the child as well. Santios tucks in some money into the bundle of clothes for the child.





"Go to the Foster Home, just three blocks down, child. You look hungry. They'll take care of you there."





The child nods and eagerly runs down the street. He stands up, and walks back to Sin, shouldering the bag full of supplies.





"Doesn't matter to me. I already made a promise to myself. These poor children, men, women, seniors, all of them, their lives have been stripped away. I want to fight back for them. That's my mission. And I damn well know that Night Raid can help me accomplish it."

Takume got to the base and sounded the alarm that let them know intruders were there he activated the amulet of chaos his black armor consuming him and his blade turning from iron to obsidian he charged back into the woods after the bandits.

Sin glared at Santios, He couldn't help but feel jealous and wondered why he was even given the position as Leader instead of Santios. Unlike Sin who was someone that knew only how to wage war Santios was still on the same level as him in accordance to strength in Sin's eyes (Although he wouldn't have a clue since I'm guessing it would have been a long time since they sparred) and the way he was would be seen as inspirational to many and after Santios spoke words of promises to the people it placed Sin in the thought of what his purpose was..Nothing snickering over the idea he nodded towards Santios


"If I'm going to be honest, there a few people that seem shady in the group..I'll always give them a chance but I think you should warn them that I don't take kindly to having my trust broken...I have a line and if they cross it; I'll kill them all." he light nature from before had suddenly turned cold and his glare was stern. He hadn't payed much mind to the children in fact he just didn't really care he had also lived a similar life but thanked it for how strong it made him and he found it hard to understand the pain they were feeling; Since that pain he had as a child was long forgotten.


Looking off to the distance he seen a figure that seemed to be rushing towards the Market's from the forest in the outskirts, soon after seeing the figure rush towards the pathway which lead to the base he heard a faint alarming sound coming from the area although at first he didn't pay much mind to it he still had a bad gut feeling. Making him want to rush things and get moving back to base just in case things were turning south.

Santios hears the alarm, and with a nod towards Sin, Santios rushes down the town and back to the guild Inca few minutes. Santios grabs his sword, and leaps into the front gate, running down the halls. He spots Alice, and he smiles, hugging her suddenly


"Thank god your safe! Did you see who was attacking the base?"

Sin followed and when coming back to the base; He hadn't needed to grab anything since he already had both of his main weapons on him, his teigu and flintlock. Following Santios to the location when seeing him hug that unfamiliar white haired woman from earlier he snickered "Just marry already would ya.." he said in a joking tone before rushing towards Takume who appeared to have rung the bell and already charged into the woods, following his tracks he ended up meeting up with Takume in his position and called out to him "Oi!" waving his arm around like a lunatic the way he acted made it almost hard to believe he was the Leader of the division. When catching up he slowed down to take a few deep breaths "I heard the alarm, what's going on?" he asked with a curious expression on his face; He seemed to still have his guard down at the time and wasn't even holding his weapons out ready in case anyone struck.

"Bandages? Check the bathroom cabinet, I'm not sure myself." Alice admitted, frowning slightly. "Sorry that I'm not helping." She said to her, bouncing off the wall and standing up straight. "And don't mind Michio, he just has trust issues. Give him some time and you two will be best buds!" She said with a smile, putting her hands on her hips.


Suddenly, Santios came crashing through the building, his arms wrapping around her in a warm embrace. She was surprised and shocked at first when this happened, but after a moment she hugged him back. "Yeah, I'm fine. Do you know what's going on?"

At the time it was hard to see what exactly was going on even though he was on the roof looking down on their position; The woman from earlier however seemed to vanish from sight rather quickly and charged quickly towards Kyou's position and before he knew it the man had used the wires to sling himself away using the various buildings to do so "Tsk, Why do they always run..." his tone seemed some what depressed, deactivating his Teigu's ability when seeing they had fled too far to follow he was glad to hear that the man planned on meeting him again.

Stretching as he stood up and letting out a obnoxious yawn he figured it would be best to regroup with the other guards "Hehehe, I can't wait to meet everyone~" he begun to think of all the things he considered fun such as being able to torture others for information, toy with the other guards and perhaps he would find someone he thought was interesting; Of course it was unlikely since most avoid him because of his creepy demeanor and odd appearance. Leaping off the building he was he headed towards where they were also supposed to meet near the Capital's building he had hoped he wasn't too early and missed them, or too late..

Takume stops and at a sudden halt "bandits they saw the base and are trying to relay the info back to the guards there's about twenty left" two bandits came out and attacked them takume turned their swords to water with a wave of his hand and slices through them both with ease their heads bouncing across the ground "make that eighteen" he dashed off into the woods again searching for more

Hearing the alarm being sounded off, it was only natural to assume it meant invaders. Arden quickly dismissed her wound which was a translucent red color as it dripped and pulled out her fans to defend on the front lines. Wrapping her hand would be too much of a time waster and a hassle anyways.


Running past the affectionate couple hugging the midst of an upcoming battle(most likely), Arden trailed behind Sin who seemed to know where he was going. It didn't take long before she'd caught up, letting out a long breath before asking of what was taking place. "Attackers?" Seeming to question innocently as she held her unopened fans besides her, blinking twice at Sin who also looked as confused as she did.

Sin just stood and watched as the two bandits came out and attempted to ambush them, Being ready to act it didn't seem necessary as Takume finished them both efficiently, The girl that he had threatened earlier came into the woods; her persona seemed slightly different from before which was probably due to having little idea in what was going on. Which in this case Sin was in the same boat. Looking back he nodded to confirm her thoughts following it with a sigh "Yeah, just a bunch of idiots from the looks" he said as he gestured to the two dead bodies on the floor he looked back to the woman's hand to see that she still had the injury from earlier "Weren't you meant to get that patched up? We can handle things from here no need to push yourself for no reason." his tone and expression made him seem confident in the fact but at the same time, he didn't honestly expect her to listen to him judging from her persona when they first met.


He looked over to where the woods got thicker which was also where Takume had just run off he took out both his flintlocks in a sly fashion bringing them both up beside his head, Turning back towards the direction he assumed the bandits were running towards he looked back over his shoulder "If you still want to come, Try keep up." his tone made it come off like it was a challenge and he rushed into the words following the direction of Takume doing the same before and following the foot marks he left on the ground when running in.

Santios hefts his sword up, and he jumps into the forest, landing onto one of the bandits. He slams his foot into the bandits neck, jumping down and nimbly jumping down, slashing and hacking two more bandits down.

Takume hunted down three more leaving their bodies in his wake he was trying to find the group from earlier that he spotted he found the group that had the rest of the bandits together and ran ahead cutting them off they had a hi class danger beast in chains like it was their pet four demons held the chains and the leader road a top the beast this might get interesting I should probably stall till sin gets here he thought to himself. "Where exactly do you think your going?"

Taking his response as a challenge, Arden quickly nodded and ran behind Sin, keeping her quick pace to prove she isn't the weak little girl that she looked. She already knew doing this wouldn't prove her worth completely but it would gain her 'brownie points' she supposed...


As they caught up the energetic Santios, it appeared that the bandits tried to form an ambush circle around the two. Stopping in her tracks as they closed in to reveal a circle of want-to-be bandits. "Hey there little cutie, why are you here? Is it a bit dangerous for you?" One of the man said to Arden but she simply opened her fan to lightly fan herself like a noble girl.


"Oh mister, you caught me. Please don't hurt me! I only wanted to sell my cookies." Her voice seemed to change into a one that resembled a young scared girl, "I can help you." He responded with his repulsive scratchy voice followed by an obnoxiously loud lip smack. Launching himself at her with his sword behind him, Arden swiftly took out her second fan to slice the plump man into three pieces. First it was his hands and a moment later his stomach in half. "No thank you." Putting her mask on as she watched the man's body twitch. Seeing the horrific way that the little girl slaughtered their comrade, they all charged at Sin and Arden at once in rage.

As he thought, Arden followed when coming to a slight opening Arden seemed to appear as a helpless girl to catch the men off guard and finishing with them as efficiently as the last lot. Once the others who by now were enraged by their fallen comrades surrounded them both Sin couldn't help but crack a wide smile as he aimed both flintlocks towards those that covered his side, making sure he kept close to Arden facing himself the opposite direction basically putting them back to back in order to make sure none of the bandits could step in without one of them seeing it Sin hadn't wasted any time in getting start, although not firing once three bandits took their first step in attempt to attack him, Sin had rushed in towards them, one of the bandits throwing a punch with little effort Sin avoided the punch squatting under it, sticking the end of his casual flintlocks barrel under the bandits chin and firing the man dropped down.


The other two bandits charged in sequence, both of them wielding swords one in the form of a large clay-more, the other being a casual sword the one with the normal blade came in with several quick and swift strikes, hopping back a few paces and avoiding the strikes, once finding his opening and rushing into strike, the man with the large clay-more had forced his weapon down towards Sin's head leaping over the bandit in front who was also attacking. Sin figured they wouldn't want to go one on one after seeing what happened earlier, kicking the man in front with a heavy boot in the chest sending the man flying back a few feet and throwing off the bandit with the large clay-more who attempted to leap over, making him fall down before meeting the ground the bandit first had his head buried in Sin's need and sent back upwards. Sin leaping up slightly above the man he


ax-kicked him back to the ground. Sin had finished the bandits covering his side and looked back to see the situation Arden was in.

Santios smiles as he cuts down the other bandit. He hears a huge roar, and nods to Arden.


"Let's go. That sounded pretty loud."

Haru watched as the wires move in order around them. He mentioned how he really had an Imperial Arm with him and despite believing that the eight seconds wasn't, it was actually just right for him to get rid of the clones and for them to escape. She allowed him to carry her, but it wasn't really like she had a choice. Using her trump card put a toll on her body and her vision dimmed as her eyes returned to their natural color. She tried to fight it back. Being unconscious now might be the death of her but she might as well consider herself lucky she made it this far. She lost her consciousness as they ran away.

Killing off her part of the bandits rather gruesomly, which was part of her fighting style I guess you would say, Arden's hand was numb by the end of it. The last two men weapons much more 'superior' then of the ones before with simple melee weapons and outdated long ranged bows. A scrawny man has a firearm whilst the other larger, muscular had a lance, how fancy.


They both came towards her at once, the first man recklessly shooting in hopes of hitting but Arden used her fan to block the ones that could've hit and the other man swung the lance around like a sword. Their skills in handling such weapons is a pathetic attempt. Arden ended up dodging all the swing attempts up until he charged the lance at her in which she just jumped, landing on top of the lance rather gracefully as well. Arden was face to face with the lancer man, well technically face to mask but same same. Placing her hand gently on his scruffy cheek, under her mask she smiled ever her kindly before closing her fan to stab right into his neck. The firearms man continued shooting despite his comrades dead, he was like a pestering fly. Taking out her other fan, she threw it like a throwing knife which hit him right between the brows. "Annoying."


Pulling out both fans from the men's corpses, Arden glanced over to Sin and Santio who seemed to be finished as well. She didn't feel the need to take off her mask, too much of a hassle plus it was like her poker face. Nodding to Santio as the loud rawr could be heard throughout the dense forest, "Ready."
