I like shit like that, though.

Monster, Death Note, Promised Neverland etc. Battle of wits. Or kind puzzle stories. Slow burn, heavy focus on character, a lot of planning, psychology, combat through words.

Although Death Note could have probably benefited from an overhaul or two on the last acts and maybe change up Light's character a bit.

Seems like a dramatic response. You're missing out on some great stuff. That list is a...lacking. You need more. Berserk is amazing, though. Claymore was cool to, although like Elfen Lied I forgot a lot of it. Never heard of DXD.

Oh apologies then. I didnt mean to come off as rude. Upon re-reading what I wrote it does make sound like somewhat of a dickwhistle. I merely stated that I like Berserk and don't remember Elfen Lied or Claymore well. And hadn't heard of DXD. It wasn't meant as an insult. But I don't think there is anything wrong with suggesting that there are probably more shows out there you would like.

I can't really fathom letting other people ruin things I like.

I can't speak for the anime trilogy, I haven't watched it yet. I personally don't like Shin, but that's because I don't see that as Godzilla. That could be another kaiju entirely. The Rebirth of Mothra trilogy was pretty good. I gotta respect Toho saving Big G's image by buying back the rights to 1998 Godzilla, making it a separate character, and having Godzilla atomize it immediately.

Mothra is not a trilogy. Mothra Leo has one, Mothra has a lot of one-offs.

Godzilla has a long history. Comics, toys, movies, cartoons, cosplay, food, and now I've applied a humanoid filter because I was bored.

There's like 50 separate Kaiju now? Heisei Kiryu is definitely a favorite, as is the Ghidorah in Rebirth of Mothra II

Got bored on Tuesday, there's now a Shifterverse around here somewhere, and I'm writing a crack fic in the same universe. Trying to get into DnD, but my DM can't get the lead out and catch up on her geometry homework.

Although, if I could get a tiny little 2019 Ghidorah as a pet, like bearded Dragon sized, I'd do it in a heartbeat
