Well, Im 22 now. I've been reading since I started school - probably before, but it gets hazy. And I don't really have any proof or track of how much I've read. Some months are filled with books and other months aren't. This month I haven't read much. I'm reading Rivers of London atm which is pretty short, but I've been reading slow since I'm focusing on writing my own stuff, work, and this.
But usually it takes my like 3 days to a week to complete a book that's 400 pages or more. My record is a 400 page book in a day. I also remember most of the books I've read. It gets stuck in my head. I think the longest book I've read is probably The Stand. I think. Don't quote me there. It only took about a week. Don't think I've ever read anything that's 1400 pages, though. No single work anyway. Obviously series can get long.
I've read pretty much every book in my house. Mostly. A few stragglers in the basement and obviously I accumulate more over time. I've read most, though. Atm I'm trying to get rid of some so I can get more. I have a lot of stuff that I don't really need anymore or that I'll never touch again, but here is my library I've built over the years.
And yeah that's all mine.
I mostly keep the books that have meant a lot to me in room. I try to keep everything else downstairs, but its getting out of hand. I also of course frequent the library and have a kindle. It wouldn't surprise me, though if you read more overall. I'll go through phases like I said. I'll like read, read, read, read then just stop for awhile to keep focused on other stuff, like the writing.
You inspire me to work on my shit
