Futuristic Agent of Maniacles OOC and Characters

Oh and I really love filmmaking. Dont think I'll ever pursue it in terms of directing. I prefer the novel and prose format and really getting into learning film would require to much dedication than I can give, but I've made a couple short movies and obviously love learning how they are made.

Hey guys I was on a double yesterday. Also couldn't post from my phone. Got to catch up a bit but was wondering if Ex or I guess lix had anything in mind for why Clayton was acting like an actual monster towards his buddies. Or did you guys want me to make something up for why?

You might be too old for this to be fair by grand total
From 2nd to 7th grade, on the AR point system, I averaged between 300-500 points each year, 1158 in Eighth grade. Most books are 5-8 points on the system. After eighth grade, the AR system wasn't in my schools anymore, but I averaged 3 books a week, between 2-4 hundred pages. I'm in the middle of Journey to the West rn, which is about 1400 pages.

You're probably more analytical than me about it, but I think I'm correct in saying that's why we can discuss mythology so easily

You haven't seen anything Sam's ever said, then, she makes all kinds of references that should be obsolete. Case in point: Fus ro dah

Well it is an unnatural world with lovecraftian bug monsters, vampires, magic, and smooth playa werewolves. I guess outdated references arent the craziest thing.

Sae interrogates Kotsu about Fizzy

I am thou, thou art I
Thou hast acquired a new vow

It shall become the wings of rebellion
that breaketh thy chains of captivity

With the birth of the Death Persona
I have obtained the winds of blessing that
shall lead to freedom and new power...

The twins were death. I feel like Fizzy is more... I dunno... Temperance?

Well, Im 22 now. I've been reading since I started school - probably before, but it gets hazy. And I don't really have any proof or track of how much I've read. Some months are filled with books and other months aren't. This month I haven't read much. I'm reading Rivers of London atm which is pretty short, but I've been reading slow since I'm focusing on writing my own stuff, work, and this.

But usually it takes my like 3 days to a week to complete a book that's 400 pages or more. My record is a 400 page book in a day. I also remember most of the books I've read. It gets stuck in my head. I think the longest book I've read is probably The Stand. I think. Don't quote me there. It only took about a week. Don't think I've ever read anything that's 1400 pages, though. No single work anyway. Obviously series can get long.

I've read pretty much every book in my house. Mostly. A few stragglers in the basement and obviously I accumulate more over time. I've read most, though. Atm I'm trying to get rid of some so I can get more. I have a lot of stuff that I don't really need anymore or that I'll never touch again, but here is my library I've built over the years.

And yeah that's all mine.

I mostly keep the books that have meant a lot to me in room. I try to keep everything else downstairs, but its getting out of hand. I also of course frequent the library and have a kindle. It wouldn't surprise me, though if you read more overall. I'll go through phases like I said. I'll like read, read, read, read then just stop for awhile to keep focused on other stuff, like the writing.

You definitely own more books than me. My bookshelf is in boxes on the other side of the state, or I'd show you. Never expected to be in my new house for three months and not have my possessions yet. I'm living out of whatever was in my dresser and my tablet

Hopefully you can get them all soon, but like I said...with me. I need to sell some of mine off, especially the stuff I'll never touch again. You have any favorite books or book series in particular?

Well, the Inheritance cycle will always hold a special place in my heart, but the ending of Inheritance felt like Paolini stopped writing Eragon as Eragon and more like a metagaming self-insert.
I used to love Harry Potter, had the first 7 books, and my mother rubbed a few brain cells together and decided that the best way to deal with our pest problem was to dump a gallon of pesticide on my bookshelf, books and all. It's not worth the effort to replace.
I was on a Middle Earth kick for a while, but I read Inheritance first, so the elf language to me will always be the Lidueh Kvaehdi (Poetic Script), which puts me at odds with the fanbase.
Pendragon was pretty nice, until I realized I was waiting for three years for the next one. I'm not judging the author, I know how hard it is to turn out a product, I just personally can't get into something that I have to wait through an entire level of schooling to get the next part of the series.
There's this one series I kinda liked, at first. Can't remember the name, but it was about kids that their mom's were MRI'd with untested equipment and it gave them electricity based powers. Nice idea, until you spend three books trying to make the bad guy seem more evil instead of the heroes doing anything about it.

I've never read Inheritance series, but Harry Potter I have of course. It's on my shelf in my room. In terms of favorites, though...off the top of my head...

Discworld by Pratchett
Dresden Files by Jim Butcher
Dark Tower, The Shining, The Long Walk, Different Seasons, 11/22/63, and The Talisman by Stephen King
Just about everything by Kurt Vonnegut
Shogun by James Clavell
The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls
I haven't read everything by him, but I've always enjoyed Elmore Leonard's books
Haruki Murakami is up there as well and Neil Gaiman
All the series Wildbow has written
Uprooted by Naomi Novik

There are more, but that's like the first stuff I see when looking around my room
