Futuristic Agent of Maniacles OOC and Characters

I've been writing books and short stories for the last few years. I forgot how much player intervention just make RPGs go crazy. In novel version everything would have been more calculated, carefully planned, everyone would have already known each other already. But this? Writing by the seat of my pants here.

Not that I mind of course. Funny as hell.

Of course I imagine things would have gone smoother if Denton had actually gone. Oh and there weren't blood crazed vampires. Oh and they trained for it.

So I was wondering, how many of us did you manage to bring into this game. I mean from the WF Rp
Been like 3 or more yeas since last time we played

From WF?
Just you, Rhyss, Exzalia, Adept, and me from our era on WF. Joe was supposed to come, but he never showed. Yet.
Florida and EF are from WF too, but they play and hang out there now. They seemed like cool people. And they were!
Buzzy Buzz Jason wasn't on WF. He from skype.
Everyone else is RPNation native.

Dude our times were crazy times

EFMingo EFMingo is doing a drive to revive WF's RP section. He's very good.

Darkling0096 Darkling0096 You're good too. I just didn't see you write until now. Loved how detailed the CS was and how you're playing your character. Best cybernetic waifu. Gay waifu.

That goes all around for everyone of course. I'm enjoying reading everyone's characters and what they'll do next. This turned out a lot more fun then I expected. I though it would die before it started lol

all this shit is going on and im having a hard time finding a place to put a Stick wielding badass in XD. I may have to switch to using magic here but ill hold it off for now

Yeah, I'm a seasoned roleplayer. Used to GM but apparently the very specific "we don't break the laws of physics, only bend them, you have to be able to justify why your character does something" was so impossible to follow that when it was enforced, everyone lost their shit. I literally told my players they could get away with super powers as long as they could justify it. Hell, the DMPC was a godzilla-esque girl. I explained her radiation as a biproduct of her metabolism, which created a liquid that combusts when exposed to air and releases radiation. It was that easy to get away with super powers. But everyone wants to be Cell and regen from nothing, apparently.

After the mission is complete we will all retreat to the tent for bread sticks, wine, and coke.

Sam's probably not going to get drunk. Brain damage=prosthetics not functioning because the neurons they receive signals from are dying

Yeah, I feel that, but at the end of the day with RPGing I think it works best to go with the flow. Well, depending on players and type of game. Especially if you're RPGing in a world you make yourself. Players will break the world and make choices you didn't expect. So you have think fast to fill out all the shit you don't expect. It really taught me a lot about writing. Not counting the games i've done with Adept all my most successful games were in the thriller/crime genre. Which I did with another friend. So I never had to worry to much about physics breaking, although to be fair the games weren't always very realistic. It was like RPG version of Bond meets Grand Theft Auto meets Metal Gear. But they were good stuff! Had fun.

So I've been writing thriller novels for the last couple years because everyone liked those games so much. Nothing published. But it feels nice to be in a game that's so zany with fantastical elements, stretching the thinking muscles in the sense of seeing what players will do, online socializing.

Thanks, man.

I always thought it was a bit more exciting when people had to come up with even a loose physics explanation for their actions. Just feels more real and interesting, and less convenient. I'm more of a fan of the limited character than the overpowered king supreme ruler fighter monster nonsense. Gets a bit old honestly.

Never tried a thriller RPG before. I think that may be a bit more up my alley honestly. Let me know if you make one.
