Of course, Dain wouldn't descibe Markku as anything more than a simple mage. No mentions of lightning bolts coming crashing down from the sky, or anything like that. Besides, Belegor does look quite solid, despite his rather diminutive stature, and that hammer could quite simply make a man go the way of the watermelon in a Gallagher act.

Besides, the arrogant bastard of a mage IS going around shooting lightning at little kids and threatning to do so to any other homeless he sees.

It's less a thug for hire gig and more a job to enact a little karma for those to weak to do it themselves.
