Act 1

Merlin

"I am the most powerful sorcerer, and I can see the future. If you continue with your current plan, your fate will spell out your doom." Merlin warned. "Here is my business card, if you change your mind." Hayes felt pressure in his hand. Merlin had teleported his business card into it.

"You have been warned." Merlin turned around and faded into the distance.

Rumplestiltskin

When Emma was gone, Rumplestiltskin looked at Belle. "I will not let this stand."

@Zaryn

Henry Mills

"We'll see about that." Henry said. "Let's go."

A few minutes later, Regina and Henry were in the car. "Let's stop at Snow White's place first."

Fin Dovah

Fendrake decided to check up on Loki. "Ready, Loki?" He yelled.

Archie Hopper

Archibald was running along the streets, sweating and shaking. His head was pounding and his eyes were red. He was so frantic that he collided withg Emma. "S-sorry!" Archie panted. "Emma, Emma, I need your help."

@Chello

"I am ready," Loki called out. He was interested in seeing what kind of training Fin would have in store for him.

--------

"Woah, Archie slow down. What is the matter?" Emma asked, "what can I help you with?"

"See the future?" Hayes scoffed and looked at the card in his hand. "Well, Merlin, you may be of some use to me."

Hayes slipped the card and began to walk down the street. He noticed a cab coming down the street and his eyes narrowed in rage. Regina. Hayes stealthily followed the car as it pulled to a stop. He hid himself quickly and watched the pair as they got out. This must be his lucky day. Though, an uncomfortable feeling entered his stomach when he saw the kid. Did Regina have a son? Hayes pushed the feeling down and watched the proceedings.

Regina slid a side-eye at Henry.  "Snow White?  Not Mary Margaret?"

She wondered how this would go.  By her mother's teaching, apologies, remorse, forgiveness--these were virtually foreign concepts.  When someone was begging for mercy, it only meant you were doing your job correctly, and should continue so to do.  But, to hear others tell it, an apology was meaningless if the one apologizing didn't actually feel any remorse or regret.

As she knocked on the door to Pastyface's apartment--ugh, Mary Margaret's apartment--she wondered: was she sorry?

Archie Hopper

"Hades-" Archie stopped and made an ugly screeching sound. Emma noticed that his eye color began to flash. Archie started to shake rapidly all over. His arm reached out toward Emma, shaking more rapidly then the rest of his body. "H-Help!!"

@Chello

Emma wasn't sure what to do, this was still all too new for her. "Archie! What is going on, how can I help you?" She spoke in a panicked voice, "Hades? As in the ruler of the underworld? What does he have to do with this, better yet he actually exists?"

Belle

Once Emma was out of the shop she turned back to face Rumplestiltskin. “I know how angry you are, but please; just give me a few days to talk to the one responsible first. I know why I was kept there, but the fact you didn’t know where I was confuses me. If you had your memories the entire time…” Belle quieted, doing her best not to straight up and tell him who did it. She needed to talk to Regina soon, because she didn’t know how long she would be able to keep this from him.

Maurice

His face shriveled in obvious frustration at the other mans words. “I wish that was a possibility, but I don’t know where-“ The thought finally crossed his mind that this was the information he was being offered. “You...you know where my daughter is? You’ve seen her?” His voice was hopeful, holding the caution of Jack deceiving him.

Snow White

Snow White had been in the middle of making dinner for herself when she heard a knock on the door. David was out working and Emma had gone back out after a short time after coming in. Who could it be? “Coming.” She called out, a few moments later opening the door to reveal Regina. She was ready for a fight until she saw Henry next to her. The boys presence calmed her a bit, knowing that Regina wouldn’t try anything while her son was around. “Henry, Regina, what can I do for you?” She asked, her voice neutral.

Jack smiled.  "I had been hoping to tease this out a little longer, but you're quicker on the uptake than I'd guessed.  As it happens, I have seen your little French fry.  Long story short? Darling Belle, alive and well, back in the arms of the Duke of Hell," he sing-songed.  "I suppose, with you thinking she was dead, she could put off the reunion a little longer."

***

"Mary Margaret," Regina said by way of greeting, forcing her face into something like pleasant humility.  "May we come in?  I...have some things I'd like to say."

Hayes watched the scene and could almost feel the palpable tension between the two. Even he'd heard about the Evil Queen's life long grudge against Snow White. This was certainly an interesting turn of events and the spirit wondered what would happen next. Hayes decided watch as much as he could and then follow the Evil Queen to her next destination.

The man's jaw fell slack, his mouth almost agape as he struggled to parse what the man had just said. "Are you saying that my Belle is once again around that blasted imp Rumplestiltskin!?" His voice rising and sputtering as he spoke. He couldn't believe it. Not again. He would not lose his daughter to that wretched creature again. "You've seen her, where is she now?" He'd have to find her, talk to her away from Rumplestiltskin. If she knew all the trouble Mr.Gold had put him through these past years, it was sure to spark something within the girl.

Snow White

She stared at Regina, blinkling a few times as she tried to make sure she heard the other correctly. Snow took a moment to consider this, letting it drag out a bit as she watched Regina's face. "Alright. You can come in. I suppose I can listen to what you want to say." She thought the only reason she was even considering it was the fact Henry was there, but in the back of her mind, she had always hoped that one day Regina would change. She wasn't dropping her guard of course, but she would try to be as open as their shared past would allow her to be. Snow took a step back, opening the doorway for them to enter.

"Now, now, Maury, calm down," Jack said, hands up.  "Belle is, indeed, with her fiendish fella.  Now, I don't want you to do something foolish, like try to spirit her away, or something.  It wouldn't work, anyway.   He'd only track you down.  Well, unless you had something like this," he said, and held up a pair of silver cuff bracelets, engraved with runes and sigils.  "Why, things like these could render the wearer untraceable by means both magic and mundane.  And they can only be removed by the person who put it there."

Jack shrugged and tucked the bracelets away.  "But that wouldn't interest you.  Anyway, I just dropped in to give you the good news about your daughter.  You have a good day, Maury."

And with that, he spun on his heel and left.  On the floor, though, where he had been standing, were a pair of silver bracelets.

Regina stepped into Mary Margaret's apartment.  Her whole body was tense, her instincts telling her not to go through with this.  "Recent events," she said, glancing at Henry, "have caused me to reexamine a few things.  I realize that this...conflict between us isn't doing anyone any good." Regina felt like she was pulling out her own teeth.  "So, I am finally willing to let go of my grudge against you for what happened to Daniel.  You were a child, and were as much of a victim of my mother's manipulations as anyone else.  It was wrong of me to treat you the way I did.  And I..."

She looked at Henry, and something clicked into place.  "And I'm not sorry," she said, almost distractedly.  An sound, not quite a laugh, came from her lips, and she turned back to her stepdaughter.  "I'm not sorry.  Not for what happened to you two.  Not for casting the curse.  If I hadn't, you wouldn't have sent Emma here through the wardrobe, which means Henry would never have been born.  So, no, I'm not sorry.  Not for that.  There are people I owe apologies to but it isn't you and David.

"As a matter of fact, you two wouldn't even have each other if I hadn't turned you into a fugitive," Regina said.  She knew this wasn't what Henry had intended for her to say, but it was true, and the words wouldn't stop.  "You'd be married to Abigail," she said to David.  "An unhappy marriage and a life under King George's thumb.  And you," she said to Mary Margaret, "would never have met him, never have become the great hero Snow White.  You'd be a pretty little accessory for whatever chinless royal your father decided would be a good match.

"Henry brought me here to apologize," she said.  "But honestly?  I really don't see the need in your case.  There are a lot of dark deeds I have to make up for, but as I see it?  We both came out the better for what happened between us.  So, if you're willing to bury the hatchet, that really would be great."

"Can you not heal her?" Eragon sounds genuinely concerned and confused. All dragon riders can do magic, so she should be able to heal Stormfly's wing without any problem at all. Maybe they aren't truely bonded? That would also explain her not knowing Stormflys age, but they seem to genuinely like each other, nothing about them appears forced. He's just confused, this doesn't make sense at all.

"Why would Berk be in danger?" He questions, despite having no clue where Berk is. Maybe there answer can give him a better idea of what's going on.

"H-Hades-" Archie choked on his words. "W-w-wa-wants-s-souls! Ex-ex-exor-" Archie's eyes, including his iris and sclera, turned a deep black, and he passed out.

@Chello

When Archie blacked out Emma quickly called for help, he needed to get to the hospital and fast. She also needed to go and speak with Mary Margaret and David, and quite possibly Regina since she would know about this. As soon As Archie was loaded into the ambulance Emma made her way back to the apartment, "guys I have to..Regina.." She cut off, "well it's a good thing you are here. Listen something happened to Archie, he was rambling on about Hades.." Emma could sense the tension in the room, "not to sound rude but whatever is going on right now can wait. We have bigger things to worry about."

Fendrake picked up the dalmatian and walked to the front of the clinic. "Now, healing animals is very different and much more difficult, for they must trust you first." Fendrake said to Loki. "This is Archie's dog, Pongo. He got into a dog fight in the dog park when an aggressive dog scraped its own collar off." Fendrake placed the nervous Pongo down in front of Loki. "Do you think you can gain his trust and heal him?"

Astrid lifted a curious brow at Eragon's question. She wasn't sure what he meant by healing Stormfly. "Well I put a splint on it..." She answered, unsure what more she could do to help her dragon heal. Though she had picked up a few potion recipes from Gothi the herbs used to make them couldn't be found in Storybrooke.

Fortunately his next question was much simpler to answer. With a heavy sigh Astrid sat up to grab a nearby stick and poke at the fire. "Before the storm caught us we spotted an armada of dragon hunters heading for Berk." Her blue eyes gaze into the fire, seeming lost in her worries for a moment. "I just hope the others spot them while out looking for me..."

"I believe so, I have always been good with animals which is surprising to everyone given my reputation." Loki responded, he put his hand in front of Pongo's nose allowing the dog to sniff it. Once he was comfortable Loki moved to pet his head, "it's okay boy. Everything is going to be okay," Loki softly spoke. "Got yourself into some trouble did you? Join the club, I use to get into all sorts of trouble." He smiled at him, Loki moved his hand down to his back. "How about I heal you so you can go back to chasing squirrels and cats," Loki chuckled.

Loki closed his eyes and focused on the good, on healing the injury. Fandrake was right, it was easy to heal Pongo because the dog trusted him. Soon he was fully healed and thanked Loki by licking his face.

"Dragon hunters?" Eragon asks, voice loud and clearly horrified. What sort of place is she from where dragons are hunted? It's been over 1000 years since dragons and humans were at war and now dragons are practically sacred. What sort of backwards place can she be living in where this isn't the case?

He rests his head in his hands. This isn't anything to do with him, they're clearly different dragons in Berk to the ones he's been giving people to hatch, so why does he still feel responsible? He's pretty much taken the safety of all dragons as his job, and even if these are different dragons, he should still protect them.

He draws energy from the trees. It only takes a second, he's better at it now, and then he can feel himself buzzing with energy. There's no visible difference when he raises his head to look at Astrid again, and although resting his head in his hands for a few seconds probably wasn't the most normal thing to do, he continues as if it was.

"Where exactly on her wing is it? Can you show me?" He needs to see the injury, to know how bad it is and exactly where on her wing it is. Hopefully Astrid will trust him enough to show him. He has to focus to keep hold of the magic but as long as it's only for a couple of minutes he should be fine.

"Excellent." Fendrake smiled. "You learn fast."

Fendrake took out a large knife. "Now, for the ultimate challenge. It may take a few tries at first." Fendrake cut himself multiple times on the arm, until his arm was mostly bloody.

Fendrake held out his bloody arm to Loki. "Try to heal a human."

Loki looked at Fandrake's arm, "I know you want to teach me but cutting your own arm is a little extreme don't you think?" He asked walking up to him, "but I'll give it a try and if it doesn't work I hope you can heal your own arm." Loki chuckled and slowly concentrated on the wound just like he did with Pongo, he focused on the healing and could feel a warmth sensation flowing through his hand. He finally opened his eyes and looked down seeing the healed flesh wound.

Fin Dovah

"Bravo." Fendrake clapped. "Now, can you heal more then one thing at once?"

Clouds enveloped them. When the clouds cleared, they were in the park. The grass and flowers were clearly dying, and evidently not been taken care of. "Can you heal all the grass and flowers at once?"

@Chello

Loki bent down and ran his hand through the grass, "don't have many maintenance workers here do you?" Loki asked before standing up straight, "I could try. It's a large area, though if I could heal a living breathing thing then perhaps this will be a breeze. I hope," he added before taking a deep breath. Loki closed his eyes again and focused on the area around him, he shut his mind off and just concentrated on the surroundings. A warmth feeling came across his body, something that he's never felt before. Slowly the grass started to turn green, the flowers started to bloom but only for a moment the went back to wilted.

It was clear that Loki was exhausted, "sorry...I guess I'm tired, I've used energy that I've never used before." He explained, "I think I just need to take a rest."

Faro is out swimming. There's no other animals here, nothing interesting at least, not the dolphins or anything he would normally see and it feels almost lonely. The fish aren't great conversationalists and there are no dolphins or whales here, who tend to be the best. He's not too bothered though. At least the water is deep here. It gives him a way to hide away from the surface, to ignore the existence of anything apart from Ingo. He lazily swims in circles, occasionally doing front flips and chasing his tail. Every few minutes he goes up to the surface, not breaching it, because he knows it'll hurt, even if it's far easier than it ever used to be, and he doesn't want to do it more than he has to. He just stays a few inches under, looking to see if anyone's around. Right now, they aren't.

There's still a note on his door from earlier, and it feels weird to think about his door when he's here, because this is his real home, and there's no his anything here. The now isn't much, just what he always has up when he's out, "Not here. Probably at the gym or swimming. Feel free to come say hello!" It's a lot more friendly and positive seeming than he tends to be but it's just a note, tone is awkward and he's too lazy to bother with it. Honestly he'd love if someone joined him swimming. Even if they aren't mer, just having someone else around. Maybe he could teach them to break the skin, to swim in Ingo without needing to breathe. He'd taught Sapphire before so humans can learn it. They just need to trust the sea. If anybody ever comes he might show them. Of course, they'd need to know he's mer first, but he considers that something to be proud of, he's not afraid to share it.

(Ingo, literally just the sea. More specifically, sea the humans aren't involved in, a few metres under and almost a sense of being one with it.

The skin - a mer way of referring to the few metres where humans have to give up their breath to enter Ingo, to beach the skin is to trust the water will support you and forget your need to breathe, can originally feel like drowning)

Maurice

Barely able to get a word in edgewise, he just waited for Jack to finish. He was about to speak when the man just left. The lack of respect irritated him, but his eyes were drawn to the silver cuffs sitting there. If he...could get those on Belle, he could take her away for awhile, talk to her about what had happened, and convince her to stay away from that evil man. Convince her to find someone else to lay her affections upon, someone trustworthy. Maurice nodded to himself, pocketing the cuffs and beginning to close down the shop. He'd have to find Belle first, but he knew if what Jack said was true, she would be around Gold's shop at some point of the day. He'd just make sure he got her without the man himself. He didn't want to see Rumplestiltskin if he could help it.

Snow White

Her jaw almost dropped at Reginas words, taking a half step back from the woman. Of course she wasn't sorry. Why would she be sorry for destroying so many lives just out of spite and revenge? She looked at David for a moment, debating whether to throw her out or go on her own tirade. It was then the door opened, Emma coming in and speaking about Archie. Her face twisted in concern, agreeing that the talk with Regina could wait. "What's wrong? Is he okay?" She blinked at the name. "Hades?"

Regina automatically pulled Henry closer to her.  "Hades?  You're sure?"

Her mind raced, running through the mental catalog of greater figures.  What she knew of the so-called death god was fairly limited, but it wasn't good.  How could his power even reach here, especially as he wasn't even worshipped anymore..?

"Henry," she said, kneeling down to talk to her son.  "I want you to stay here, with your grandparents.  I have to go take care of something, but I promise I'm not giving up on this."

Jay smiled, feeling good about his chat with Maurice.  He drew close to the harbour, and figured Faro would be out swimming.  He ran towards the water, leapt--

--and skated right across the surface of the water, which froze underneath him.  He zigged and zagged over the water, leaving trails of ice.  He spotted a disturbance in the surface, and hazarded a guess that Faro was down there.  Jay skidded to a halt, and settled down into the raft of ice forming underneath him.
