"Devi. Call me Lep," she nodded. She watched the group interact, and all she felt like doing was stepping back to watch. It seemed something much more intricate was at work, something that Lep hadn't even begun to dive into.

"It's fine!" Karie patted Ali on the head "you can come sleep with me!" she said smiling, still not noticing the un-zipped jacket. @Zeldafangirl

"I'm still not sure who I'm in a dorm with..." Lep sighed loudly, brushing white hair behind her ear and adjusting her linniped skin.


She let her eyes drift and something came to her.


Well, Lep assumed Ali didn't know about Karie's situation, and Lep also had no idea if this would work. She didn't have her bottle with her, she threw it out. There's enough moisture in the air... I hope. Tapping into someone's wave of thought wasn't easy, and communicating with them was even harder. And Lep was on land.

Lep tried to stay calm as she sent her own thought to Ali's head, repeatedly chanting 'zip up the jacket, zip up the jacket' and hoping she would hear.

"I'm still not sure who I'm in a dorm with..." Lep sighed loudly, brushing white hair behind her ear and adjusting her linniped skin.
She let her eyes drift and something came to her.

Karie heard a voice in her head and started turning round frantically looking for it with a blank expression, she looked like a lost puppy and as if she only cared about finding it without taking in the words. @neerios @Zeldafangirl

Lep sighed and tapped her foot against the ground, hopefully getting the attention of Karie so she would listen.


She couldn't speak while doing this, too much concentration was involved. And she sure as hell knew she couldn't hold the link for long.


Welp, this went great, we should try this again some time. Would you like some damn fries with that, Leptonyx? Ugh.

Karie stared blankly around still before tilting her head and shrugging... she wasn't exactly connected to reality and hardly took notice of anything unless it slapped her in the face, 'but I guess that's what I get for being dead...' she thought aimlessly to herself. @neerios

Lep just gave up. Better to save her energy than waste it. If she had water around her, sure, she'd totally be able to take better care of that situation, but did she? Nah.

Karie's head had started to bleed from falling over without her realising it, it dripped down her face slowly but it was like she didn't feel anything and just continued to smile innocently at everyone, wondering why it had suddenly gone so quiet. @Zeldafangirl @neerios @NightCasterZ

Lep sighed and pulled Karie to the side, sitting her down at the bench and inspecting the blood. Her linniped side was starting to act up, but a little bit of blood was no reason for Lep to go insane. "I think you need to rest your head a bit, maybe get something for this cut," she hummed.


And with a quick look around she whispered to Karie, "You might also want to zip up the jacket."


And with that, Lep stood and was ready to make her way to the office to find out where her dorm was.

Ivenn watched the whole scene unfold before him with delight. So many interesting personality. When the others were introducing themselves, he did the same, telling them his name was Ivenn. "Uh... you're bleeding by the way, are you alright?" He asked Karie

Lep quickly grabbed onto Karie and forced her eyes open, effectively intruding on both Ivenn and Karie's personal space. She made a few clicking noises and tried to link up to her wave of thought.

Karie nodded and her eyes opened, but her eyes themselves were completely dull "ok." she said in a plain voice, as if she'd been given some sort of command, she kept fidgeting with her sleeve as if something was really getting to her despite her blank facial expression. @TheWingedCrusader @neerios @GoldenCharizard4 @Zeldafangirl @NightCasterZ

Ivenn stared in shock at Karie's changing features. He knew exactly what that meant. Lep suddenly pushed him out of the way. Ivenn staggered back. A wave of thoughts filled his head. S-she's... d..dead. HOW COULD SHE?! Lie to to her brother and sister like that? How could she destroy the rules of death? Why did she do it? How did she do it? C-could I... do that.. for my sister? Why didn't that happen to my sister? It's... it's... NOT FAIR! At this point, Ivenn's expression was contorted with rage, sadness, and fear. He didn't know whether to walk away, ask Karie how she did it, or to yell at her angrily. Ivenn's eyes widened for a moment, then he shut them. He took a deep breath. "See you guys later," he said, turning and leaving.

Lep gripped the back of Ivenn's collar, grey eyes heavy and edges creased with the storm of the Antarctic. "You're staying," she growled.


She pulled Karie down to the bench and held her in a more comfortable position until she came out of her daze.


Nothing really made sense in Karie's wave of thought, but it was better to her the soft hum of a living and breathing person's thoughts than a blank wave. Lep could pick things out in the haze, and it was brutal, but she didn't push at what all these things meant. At least not for now.


"You okay, Karie?"
