As soon as she said butcher... he knew she was not joking. Goosebumps appeared on some of his body parts, and he heel turned to face his sister again. "How about we delete that 'butcher' part? I mean, these guys didn't do anything wrong. It's Leighten that we're after, right?" he tried convincing his sister into avoiding bloodshed and violence.


Come on... Come on... I know you're in there, just listen to what I said... he thought, trying to bring out what's good in her sister. He sighed and turned around again, to face the castle entrance. The same one that it happened, so many years ago... or at least from what Alreos told me. Eliphas thought to himself again. There were guards outside, Eliphas led the way and approached slowly.


The guards unsheathed their weapons, but Eliphas shot two paralyzing lightning bolts at them, hoping his sister wouldn't notice he did not kill them.

"They killed our father. They will all die." She saw him not kill the two people and slit their throats slowly.

"Alright, Misty. You can see the castle. No dive-bombing."


"Right!"


Misty soon landed at the castle. Ari hopped off to see 2 guards laying at the entrance dead. "I guess they're already here. Let's go in. Prepare for battle."

Eliphas the Inheritor


One thing that Eliphas couldn't argue is his sister. He would not speak to her, he sighed in reluctance. When was the last time we even talked to each other as friends, rather than co-workers? he asked, more to himself as it was a thought. Eliphas put on his hood and turned towards the castle gates, then prepared a big, powerful and chaotic ball of lightning...


He shot it at the gate, killing several guards behind it. SHIT... Didn't mean to do that... Well, what was done can't be undone. He thought, seeing the guards die from his stupid choice of entry. He walked inside, and a big group of at least 25 armored men surrounded him. He looked around and smirked. He did like killing, that was true. But not innocents. From the other side? These guys signed up for this. he thought.

One of the guards yelled "GIVE UP NOW!" with an aggressive, authoritarian voice. "YOU ARE COMPLETELY SURROUNDED!" he yelled again after a few seconds, losing some confidence as Eliphas rose his head revealing a confident, shining smile.


Eliphas responded "Sure I am, what's your point?" with an extremely confident voice. Eliphas took out his dagger, but 3 guards ran at him, trying to tackle him. Eliphas jumped high into the air, performing a backflip and dropping onto the ground, rather far away from the group of guards. Then the 3 guards who rushed at him, hit each other.


The group surrounded him quickly again, but he aimed his hands opposite of each other, aiming onto his left and right. Powerful lightnings shot out, chaining from one guard to the other. The lightnings quickly became slightly purple and burned the armored guards... armored... or rather... 'clad in metal' with deadly lightning. The guards were burned and he looked at his sister. "Hey, it looks like this train is going to go far with this much coal."


He saw the adventurers and sighed, yelling in confidence "Oh, look. It's the adventuring twerps. Get lost, I warned you with a death sentence!" as he put a big barrier at the entrance, made out of lightning. The barrier was very powerful and would need a lot of force to break it. He ran inside, looking behind to see if Jenika is behind him.


He decided to leave one, last gift for the group. Despite the barrier defending the entrance, he also shot a lightning bolt at the dead guards. The lightning spread from one body to another. It controlled their armor, making them into 'lightning zombies' that started attacking the group.

Jenika helped attack the men surrounded her and her brother. She was behind the barrier when her brother sealed it. She helped to massacre the other guards and then stood, watching the adventurers with narrow and bitter eyes.

After about 40 seconds of defending Ari, the barrer was destroyed by his petals.


As soon as the barrier was destroyed, the lightning zombies dropped to the floor, but then their bodies started shaking very violently, as if a demon posessed them. It was not a demon however, as the corpses exploded... with GREAT power. Each one was like several grenades packed into a bag of meat and armor, only making the explosions more severe due to the armor acting as hot shrapnel. Being hit by the electrified remanants of one of the corpses was not pleasant either. They were like burnt, hot rubber.


Jacen rolled away from the explosions, covering himself behind the statue of a dragon, that had his head blown off due to a piece of metal hitting it.

Eliphas, along with his sister walked into the Hall of Wisdom in the meantime. Then he looked at a big pedestal, shined upon by light. "Here it is. The Book of the Body. The final one in our collection, sister." he said, happily. He picked up the book and said "Now. All that remains is finding the Black Library, but it is down here. Sister... we just won." as he tilted his head around to face Jenika. He was hoping to see a smile... Come on... smile. I know you can. You smiled before, right? he thought.

"Ow....ow.....ow....OW! FUCKING HELL, THAT FUCKING HURT!" Bailey had been being hit with small debris, one of which cut her arm and her left brow, but she shouted when she was hit in the back of the head with something while getting to cover.

"Shit! Get down! Cross Turbulence." Ari spun around and a violent sphere of air and petals blasted outwards with extreme force. The air was rotating in both directions simultaneously. It was in layers like an onion, alternating between clockwise and counter clockwise, all while pulsing outwards and at an insanely high speed. The momentum between the explosion and the air showed the shrapnel going through the walls. Anyone inside the sphere was protected.

He stopped when the shrapnel stopped. He sighed. It took a lot of magic to do that move. There was no way he could keep doing that and be ready for a fight


Ari covered the ground in the Green/Purple petals and covered any remaining corpses to prevent any more explosions. "Let's move. They're not pulling any punches. We need to get there before they wear us out."

Jacen walked out of cover, then inside the castle. Upon entry, he was blasted back by a paralyzing lightning strike... shot by a mage of Clan Razielim that was inside. He lied down, muttering "D-Damnit... not again..." with a rather reluctant voice.


Then the gates opened further, revealing more of such vampires, among them was Raziel.

Raziel looked at the group, then smiled in a cocky way. "What are you doing here?" he asked, the question clearly pointed towards the whole group. He sounded quite inquisitve and he didn't seem to have very noble intentions.

"Don't you see that this is not an expedition? This is a war. Everyone wants the books, for one reason or another. Azriel is betraying you. So is Eliphas and his sister. And me? I will betray them. I mean, seriously. I know that obviously Eliphas wants to betray me. After all, I am the one who killed his father. Well, kindof killed. I didn't- I kinda partook in killing him. In any case, I advise you step back and... just... scamper off. Then I'll kill Eliphas, take the books and open the Black Library."


He snapped his fingers and the people of his Clan unsheathed their weapons. By what you could see, there was at least a well-armed 100 of them.

Being rather unamused, he rose an eyebrow, then sighed lowering it again. "Whatever." he quietly muttered, then turned around. He had the 3 books with him and he walked up to a wall. "That pile of vampiric crap should buy us... like... uh... Dunno. 10 minutes at least, I can bet." he said, then placed the book on 3 pressure plates. Their covers fit the plates and fit in, being lowered a bit.</p>

The walls tore asunder, and opened a pathway to an ancient, long unvisited complex. The outer layer was made out of a nearly indestructible metal, Eldrium. But with the books, they could enter easily. "The Black Library... It's ours." he said, with a glorious voice. "Master will be happy. The god..." he muttered.</p>

He took the books again, and walked inside, waiting for Jenika. "The Black Library, the source of infinite power. It has so much weapons, armor, books and knowledge inside. And all of the artifacts. I feel rich already." he said, rather happily. "How about this: We take the best ones for ourselves, the rest we destroy? It's not like we'll ever have to use them after... the end. And he will take us with him, which means... if life was a game of chess, we just made all of our pieces indestructible."</p>

Jacob spent most his life in meditation and training, so socializing and making friends wasn't exactly his strong suit. Even if he was social, how many people would invite the compulsive meditator to a party? Celia though managed to retain his interest without even trying though, and he liked being around her

Misty started purring as he hit the sweetspot. "Ah yes. Right there." She then remembered his question. The scratching wiped her brain clean. "I-I'm good." She didn't even know it was Tyr. Since she was young (Just over a year and a half), her own memory wasn't great. She had to rely on tapping into Ari's memories to learn and re-learn the things around her until she got it down. It was how she remembered Tyr's words.


"If yo-y-you scratch the-there while I'm fl-fl-flying, I don't wan-wanna lose control." She was already struggling to not drop to the ground, which was a more comfortable position than standing..........on on her back, which was an even more comfortable position since those on her back could make her itchy.
