"Thank you, master." he responded to Ari's compliment, nodding confidently. He sheathed his sword, just for now, but Jacen knew he would have to take it out soon anyway.


Jacen followed and seeing the opened altar, he said "Master. I think he already has the last book..." with his eyes widening up and seeing the open walls that Eliphas walked through earlier along with his sister. There were three pedestals, for the three books, and they all have been clearly activated before. In an unknown language, a sign gloomed over the door, it said 'The Black Library' but again, only some could read it, others could not.


Raziel Cedliethal


Raziel greeted them, with a heavily scorched and burned, but almost normal body, then he said "No..." with the voice of someone who knows he will get his ass kicked... He said "Not today." with an aggressive voice, then took out the dreambinder scroll, reading out the incantation and running into the Abyss.


Jacen looked back at Ari. "That much for him, I guess." he said, shrugging. He waited for his master to lead the way into the library.


Meanwhile... in the Black Library's first floor

Eliphas the Inheritor

Eliphas looked around the first floor of the library. It did not have that much artifacts, but it would have the three most powerful ones near the exit. It also had some old books. He walked towards the three, exceptional ones. Two Legendary swords, and some weird machine. He broke the glass with his fist, then took one of the swords. "Beatiful, and lightweight." he said.


The sword's name was Knightfall. The sword's handle was the average size for a two-handed sword, but it was clearly made for big handed people, perhaps for some sort of demon? It was very strong and durable, made out of an eldritch material made manifest into metal. Despite that, it was still quite light and could probably be wielded by a normal human, with only slight problems. He looked at Jenika. "There's one for you, I'm taking the weird machine though." he said, pointing at the other Legendary Sword.


Eliphas sheathed Knightfall. He took the weird machine into his hands and said "I wonder what this does..." he asked himself, then pressed a big, red button. He dropped on his knees, feeling the machine's power grasping into his mind. He looked at Jenika, then said "What's going on? J-Jenika. I'm forgetting." with a distressed voice.


He dropped onto the floor, unconcious.

Jenika ran to her brother's side. Despite being a bit of a bitch she cared a lot for her brother. "Eliphas? Eliphas! Wake up!"

Eliphas the Inheritor


He opened his eyes, but could not recognize anything, or anyone around himself. "Where am I?" he asked, looking around. He saw Jenika and moved away, then getting up. "Who are you?" he asked, with his voice being inquisitve, but not aggressive.

Exactly what this RP needed. Another side of the conflict. So far we had Raziel, The Adventurers, and then there was Eliphas and Jenika. Now we have Raziel, The Adventurers, Eliphas, Jenika.

Ari stepped into the door in the middle of the group into the Black Library. Here was the last book. Eliphas wasn't giving it up until he died. They didn't have the defense of the Purple/Green Rose Petals this time


They ran into Eliphas. He seemed confused. He was far more cocky than this. Still though, Ari kept his guard up. "Who are you?" Ari had his blade drawn. Who was the girl behind him for that matter?

Kim looked at the confused Eliphas. "He does not remember anything." She said to Jacen. "His soul is confused as well. That is a sure sign of amnesia." She nodded. "And it is a sure good thing that Celia is gaurding the door we came through."

He looked at his own hands, then at Ari. "Good question. I'm Eliphas?" he said, but it sounded as if he was asking. Like as if he was unsure of his own name himself and was asking for clarification. He heard the Goddess and said "So I have amnesia. That means--..." he looked behind, where his sister was. His eyes widened up, then back at the adventurers. He unsheathed the sword. "You're all... trying to manipulate me. Let me through, I just want to get out of here." he ordered them, demanding to be let through. He pointed his sword at the group, but he clearly lacked skill and was unable to do it properly. His moves were clumsy, instead of elegant, they were different from what they were before.

Kim just pushed the sword away. "How about you go and get to a safe area where they can talk to you." She said as she stayed on the wall.

He looked at her and said "So, I'm Eliphas? And you claim to be my sister? I don't know what's going on, but I don't trust you. I just wake up in some creepy dungeon with no idea where I'm at. Goodbye!" he said, trying to run away from her. He did not trust her, whoever she was. She looked far too dark to be trusted. He soon realized that running could be hard, he looked down as his robes... "What kind of clothes are those?" he asked himself, his eyes widening. "I need to change, fast." he said, then ran forward.


He walked past a corner and saw a...

Body, of a huge, disgusting and burnt dog. The smell, that wretching smell was like burnt rubber, except you replace the word 'rubber' with 'dog'. He ran forward again, hoping to get away from it... only to encounter the Adventurers...


He stopped and looked at them. "Who are you?" he asked, clearly confused. His voice, mind and soul were all confused. Even with magic, and or with incredible skill at sensing lies, it was quite clear he had no idea who, and what he stumbled upon. "Where am I? And what's going on?" he asked, a bit aggressively.

Jacen looked at Ari, in slight confusion. He did not trust Eliphas despite how confused he seemed, but he needed to know what the rest thought.

Jenika gasped and her eyes filled with tears when her brother left. He was all she had. Her face grew angry and she lifted her sword, charging at Ari.

When the girl charged at him, he spun from her blow and grabbed her hand. He put it behind her back, as if he were a cop and slammed her against the wall. "Where's the books, lady?"

Eliphas took several steps back, afraid of what was going on. He saw a woman charging at the man he just met... he used the occassion. The chaos, it was perfect. Even a stupid person with no tactical sense whatsoever would know this was the right time, the right moment to go for it. He did not even know the books he had with him, and what power they held. He ran away, through the hall, but then met Celia on his way out. He saw her and rose his sword, very protectively. Both of his hands were unsure, but he was prepared for anything. "Will you let me through?" he asked her.

Celia pinned Eliphas to the wall with her cutlass's. A bunch of bodies laid around her. "You are going nowhere." She said angrily. "Not until we have a little.... discussion.... Mono-a-mono" She said with a bitter tone. "You took something of mine..... and you are going to tell me exactly where it is..... Kapiech?" she said

He looked at her, he was terrified. He gasped, being pinned to the wall, then said "What did I to you?!?" with an afraid, nearly terrified voice. He closed his eyes and looked away, then asked "What do you want from me?" with an aggressive, inquisitive tone. "You just attack a defensless guy. Hope you're proud." he said.

"You know EXACTLY what you did." She said angrily. "Where is my book? You took it from me and you are going to give it back" She was furious, but she was starting to calm down. "Listen....... That book is important to me, and you made me look like a monster in front of my friends. So you will give me my book, or I will show you how much of a monster I am."

Cross arrived just in time to find Eliphas and Celia talking. "Celia don't anything crazy the guy has Amnesia!" Cross turned his attention back to Eliphas. "Hey it's ok bud I'm not here to hurt you in fact so we can trust each other I'll throw my weapons down. Can you do the same for me? I don't want to do anything that will make me lose sleep. Already losing enough as is."

He pulled extremely hard. "If I pick up my blade, this will only get worse. The life of my wife and my kids are in danger, so don't think for a second that I'm bluffing. I will scalp your ass."

"I am sorry." he responded, looking at Celia. He had no idea what he did, but he was still sorry for it. He looked at Cross, but then he remembered something... a fight with that dog. He remembered how he used his... power? Did he know magic? Apparently so. He blasted Celia and Cross away with a small shockwave of lightning, it was enough to stun someone for a few seconds, but it would not injure or even cause lasting pain at all. Then he said "I'm sorry, for whatever I did, but I can't remember." as he ran past her, out of the Hall of Wisdom and out of the castle. He saw the bodies on his way and had a few flashbacks, but they were like short images, nothing was brought back to him, nearly nothing at all.


He ran to a Tavern and hid inside, hoping no one finds him. He rented a room and stayed in it, doing nothing. He had to think this through.
