Fantasy A Time of Kings

Jon nods his head with an amazed look on his face " 'Tis a pleasure miss Robin Maylei. And for all I know, anyone willing to go there's a hero in my eyes." he says raising his tankard. "I often get to speak and sing about such individuals, but to meet one? You, eh... You don't happen to have stories to share?"

Jon looked at her in anticipation. If she were really to head for Hel's Point Citadel, there was definitely adventure to be found there. Maybe, just maybe if he could join in there could be a chance for him to forge a great saga of his own, the song of Robin Maylei... Or, or... The song of Hel's Liberation. It had a ring to it, and it would be a story of his hand.

Robin shakes her head with a sigh. "Bards..." Robin mutters, a sly smile.

"I've no real adventurous tales to tell. Unless your crowds would enjoy a story about aiding farmers with infested grain stocks, hunting bandits, or protecting caravans from the summer orc raids." Robin says with a heavy sigh. She wished she had more exciting tales she was willing to tell. A few other stories but... the wound was still raw, and would not be fitting for a song about herself.

"But!" Robin declares, standing up, her hands planted on the table. She leans forward, determination marking her face, replacing the slight sadness of memories past. "I'm going there, and I'm trying to find more people to join me. Enough with being subtle, as no proper hero is sly about her quest!" She looks, the question on her lips so obvious, she need not even ask it. "Come with me."

Jon holds up his finger as he brings his tankard to his mouth as if thinking on his answer but also to keep Robin and Rowan for just a moment. Of course, the moment Robin had asked him, his choice was already made. An oppurtunity like this? How could any self-respecting bard not take that?! He chugs back his drink, keeping the tension with his finger raised, and as he slams the empty tankard back down he snaps his fingers with a large, confident smile and says vigorously "Of course'll join you!" with a big, foolhardy smile.

Robin nods her head. "Great, you'll both join me tomorrow with Kirk, after breakfast. We shouldn't waste any more time around here!" She sits back down, her moment of heroic cliche over. She always enjoyed getting those in whenever she could. Robin figure that will allow her new-found companions some time tonight and in the morning to prepare themselves for a journey. Robin already had her travel bag packed at her sleeping quarters. All Robin needed to do was plan the route they should take on their journey, get a good nights rest, and be ready for her biggest adventure thus far. "Oh, I just can't wait!" She has an excited smile on her face, bright and beautiful. She has her mind only the glory of adventure for now, not the dangers of it.

(Are some people still in the tavern, if not please disregard this post)

Mako stood in front of the tavern door, he looked at Fang and took out a rope and tied it to a piece of metal. Fang whimpered. "I know, I know. They don't allow animals in the tavern, sorry buddy." Fang's face was solemn. He entered the tavern and walked to the counter. "Mug of mead, please."

The tavern keeper, a middle-aged human woman looks over the half-Orc once, and delivers his request. "Another blow in from Hel's Point?" She asks, figuring it might be another refugee. "Or just passin' through to somewhere?" Trying to spark up a conversation with the serious looking man. "It'll be two copper coins." She says, holding out her wrinkled hand to take the money. A good price, for a large amount of booze.

In some taverns, a half-Orc may turn heads, and even start some fights... but Mako wasn't alone at Caed Nua. A few other half-breeds, a couple of half-Orcs event. "But you know... Caed Nua is always looking for strong young people to help rebuild and keep the place in order." The woman suggests.

(Character interaction within the tavern will continue, but I'm waiting for @XxLuluxX, before I start off a plot event. )

A man would pass through the Tavern doors, and look around. His face was covered with a mask, and he held a hood over his head. His eyes, once hazy blue, was now burning red and orange, like fire. This was the Zaterran, Yaro Azar, and he would notice that Robin was not here.....pity. But, an Inn was the best source of information, so Yaro would have to make the best of it. Yaro saw there was a bar-keeper, a fair looking woman, talking to what appeared to be a half-breed. Orc, most likely from the jawline.

Stepping towards the Counter, Yaro would sit down, and wait for her to talk to him, listening to the woman talk about Hel's point and Caed Nua. After waiting a bit, Yaro would hold up a small bag of gold. "Excuse me, but I need information......a woman, goes by the name Robin. Pretty well-known wanderer. "He said, hoping someone knew something. "I am looking for her....this gold should be good compensation for the information."He said, keeping his talk brief.

Rowan had returned to the tavern. He heard Yaro's question. He walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Um, excuse me sir? Someone named Robin was here earlier." He said. @Andraus

The woman rolls her eyes and mumbles "More people lookin' for people" she mumbles, none too subtly. She can feel the maliciousness bleeding off this mans carriage, tone and appearance. "Bounty hunter, then? I've heard about this young traveler, yeah I did." She rubs her chin a bit, and makes a show of looking at the ceiling in thought. "She stayed here a month or so. Left last week. She said she was heading to Mercy bay... going East to Loghome to catch a ferry 'cross the river. Long journey that is. Through the Scarred forest even, heard rumors of Dragons still living there." She smiles at the man. "That's about all I know. Can I get you anything for the evening Mr...?" She trails off, hoping for him to answer.

@Andraus

( @Ldybug123 Cool it with the omniscient godmod there. )

Yaro would stop, and close his hand as he would place the bag of gold in Rowan's hand. "Thank you for being honest....Now, Inn-keeper, please know I intend no damage.....at least to your inn. I merely wish to see if this is the same person. If you must give her a name, then tell her this 'Her friend from Zaterra wants to see her'. "Yaro said.

"That guy just say Zaterra?"

"I thought that place was wiped out a year ago."

"It seems some are still lurking about"

( @Ldybug123 Too late now, it seems. )

"I've been living on this land long enough to know that people asking for friends wearing a mask and that kind of get up, are up to no good! Not a one in this tavern, nor this whole keep would sell someone out!" The tavernkeep says, quiet suddenly furious. She casts an angry look at the naive elf who'd ruined the misdirection attempt. "I don't care which fairy-tail magical land you come from, I can tell you're up to nothing good!"

@Andraus

Yaro would clasp his hands together, and look towards the woman. Though he maintain a calm demeanor, his eyes were burning. However, to keep up a polite demeanor, he looked towards Rowan. "Thank you, sir, but that won't be necessary. She is partially right: I am here for Robin. "He said, looking towards the woman. "I owe that woman a debt....an old debt that I fully intend to pay. I owe that woman much for past grievances. Now I don't intend on starting a fight here, nor do I intend on hurting anyone else....but believe me when I say this: That woman has this coming to her." Yaro would say, standing up. He then looked towards Rowan. "Thank you for being honest.....it is a rare trait in this age. "He said, as he made his way to the exit.

Rowan nodded and ran up to Yuro. "Um sir, if you don't mind me asking... what kind of debt do you owe Robin?" He asked.

Yaro would simply turn towards the man. "The type that end along with her life. "He said, opening the door.

@XxLuluxX[/URL], before I start off a plot event. )
The Half-Orc tossed two copper coins. Mako thought for a moment "Just passin'." he kept his head down. He looked at masked man and lighted a pipe "Never heard of her." he showed his teeth which were marked beige do to the smoking he had been doing. He shot a puff of smoke in front of the masked man's face. "You got a name?"
