I was thinking more of possibly having other "gifts" in the form of prisoners made from the enemies of House Lannisters being fed to said lions between the tourney events. Get the lions fed and the pit nice and bloody in between each one.

Also I know Tiber didn't realize this but Caydens horse is not in the stables since he never announced himself to anyone till he arrived and slept by himself so his horse is technically outside the rock, grazing and tied to a tree off the beaten path
