Similar to his original personality though Thror is a bit more animated as well as blunt taking greater joy in the simple things of life and willing to share his opinion on anything and everything if only given the chance. His occupation stems from a personal interest in uncovering more about the dwarven heritage and sharing its splendors with other sentient races; while perhaps making a bit of coin from the venture.
History:
Born overseas Bernhard's parent immigrated when he was still young seeking better opportunities for themselves as well as their offspring. Being the oldest of three and most rooted in their old lifestyle Bernie suffered some initial difficulties adapting. With time the rebellious nature was curbed into a more passive demeanor now displayed.
Despite some minor delinquent action in his youth the blond showed a knack for finances which would eventually transition into a promising career with the help of one if his old mans colleagues. With little experience and much to prove the young man spent the last year focused on his job, putting aside online gaming in favor of a diligent work ethic. Instead of a quick ascend up the career ladder the universe decided it was time to be t-boned by a speeding pickup. Sure work covered the hospital bills, but he would be out of commission for a while. Bored of sitting at home and with every channel on the tube flashing adds about the first virtual reality mmorpg he figured it was a good a time as any to get back into his college hobby.

Thror started his existence as a crafter for the Dusk-Hammer Clan quickly finding a spot thanks to his mastery of runes; giving some of their merchandise an edge in exchange for a reasonable markup. The clan itself consists of 7 Dwarven lineages, with the Stonemantle's among the youngest. However, the runes and their history began to pique Thror's interest beyond simple monetary gain. After some back and forth and a few sleepless nights he presented his plan to leave the grand forges in pursuit of knowledge. An adventure to uncover rare or perhaps undiscovered runes.
After some initial grumbling the Clan's leaders agreed to maintain the runemasters membership and quarters in exchange for full disclosure on any findings upon his return. Since then Thror has been busy exploring caves near Strunmah's border, enjoying the challenge of dwelling ever deeper. While combat is certainly invigorating the time alone in dark tunnels weighs even upon his study shoulders, making the prospect of a cold ale and some company all the more alluring.[/column]

Brief Set of RulesI don't have many rules (okay maybe a few) so just hang tight, I'll be done explaining in a second.

Character CreationAlright so this is going to work in an interesting way considering we aren't using dice (horray!) so bare with me. It isn't complicated I swear!
Step 1: Fill out all fields aside from class, stats, traits, abilities, and equipment. We'll come back to that.
Step 2: Pick your class.
Step 3: Fill in both class and the equipment they have, if it isn't listed under class specific gear, leave it for now.
Step 4: Take the 15 points allotted for stats and insert them as you would like.
Step 5: Add any racial or class modifiers.
Step 6: Look at the amount of intelligence they have. This determines how many traits they can choose. 0-1 is none, 2 is one, and 4 is two, and 5 is three. If you have extra points cause your character is literally a smart fuck with no other use, you can spend additional points to gain more traits. The next would be four, then five and so on.
Step 7: You know that sword you wanted your ranger to have? Well then take that trait and he can use it now! In other words, pick your traits.
Step 8: Seeing as everything's almost done, might wanna go give them some abilities that correspond with all that.

General Appearance: Leo has long brown hair which he occasional ties back into a short ponytail and a brown goatee. His face is somewhat babyish, though his facial hair does a decent job of hiding it. His skin tone is much lighter than his dark brown hair and eyes, though he isn't pale thanks to the naturally darker (though still obviously caucasian) color of his skin.
He has a quite lanky build, though not to the point of strangeness or unhealthiness and while he isn't particularly muscular or fit he is nowhere near the point of being overweight.
Personality: Leo is your average introvert, he mainly keeps to himself, preferring to spend his free time playing video games, watching movies and reading rather than going out and being social, however he does have a lot of 'internet friends' (though he'd just call them his friends) whom he plays various video games with and talks to on a regular basis.
He likes to think that he's a decent enough person, though he's lazy and generally quite apathetic, not very motivated to do much with his life and if he didn't have basic needs like sleep, food, water and housing he'd probably waste away his whole life playing secluded inside. Personality: The best way to describe him - and the way he describes himself - is that he is a "good person, but not a nice person," he'll help out his friends and the people he cares about, but most of the time he'll do it begrudgingly and with quite a few complaints.
Generally, he's a bit of an asshole, worrying more about himself than anyone else - especially now that he's trapped in this world with the possibility of death - a lot of his replies are snarking, sarcastic or just downright rude and he'll admit he enjoys arguing with people and getting a rise out of them.
History: Leo, like many others around the world, had been ecstatic when the revolutionary virtual reality MMORPG had first been announced. He'd always been a fan of fantasy roleplaying games, being an avid player of Dungeons & Dragons and various games of the same sort. Leo had been looking for a new MMO to sink his teeth into after World of Warcraft had in his opinion gone downhill a few years earlier. And while he'd never been a fan of anime in general, he had watched Sword Art Online when he was around ten or so and had always hoped a game like that would eventually be created.
Unfortunately, it seemed the parallels to SAO in this game went a bit too far, though no one would figure that out until it was too late. The day the game was released he rushed to the nearby electronics store and purchased a VR set-up for the soul purpose of playing it, he logged on as soon as the servers were up, having taken the day off work to play-. It was amazing, everything he'd ever dreamed of and more, though it wasn't perfect - no game ever was - and there were a few things in particular he disliked.
While the game was incredibly immersive, Leo couldn't help but think it was a bit too real in some instances; whenever a monster ripped and tore at his flesh he could feel it and it hurt like hell, - that was one of the main reasons he'd decided to pick a character clad almost head-to-toe in plate armor - whenever his blood or the blood of his foes splattered against the ground he could smell it as it mixed with the scent of corpses and the sweat of his exertion. He could feel his body grow weak and exhausted from combat, barely able to lift his own sword or conjure a spell as he desperately fought to his last breath to survive. Even though he knew in the back of his mind that should he die he'd simply respawn someplace far away, feeling refresh and revitalized, the world around him felt so real that his mind could only assume that it was in those desperate moments.
Still, though, those problems would pale in comparison to one that would emerge a few hours later. No one could log out. His first reaction was panic, like a lot of other people's had been, however, it quickly faded; the real world wasn't some dumb anime, they weren't going to be trapped in this game, having to fight their way back to the real world and the notion was frankly stupid. Leo was confident the devs would push out a patch quickly to enable logout functionality and everyone that freaked out about it would feel dumb.
When it was announced that the system had been hacked and the option removed from the game, he had felt somewhat uneasy but was still confident in the developers and trusted that they would implement a fix and everything would be fine. Even so, Leo was never one for foolish optimism and has pretty much been staying safely inside the boundaries of the Elven capital in case something does go horribly wrong.

Personality: Teresa's personality is leans toward the lighter, gregarious side of the emotional scale. She isn't overwhelmingly bubbly, but she's affable and empathetic, but you know how it is, the nicest people are the easiest to go unoticed. She isn't flashy, doesn't like the spotlight, and is only a little materialistic. She's passionate about animation and design, asipring to become either a great movie animator or video game designer with a vivid, inspired imagination. Despite her talent, without support or a sense of competition, Teresa loses motivation very easily after repeated failure.
Don't get me wrong, Teresa isn't made of only sugar. Her spice comes in the form of loud, vulgar language and a steaming temper. Teresa's reaction time when it comes to throwing back insults is impressively quick. Her and her silver tongue strike faster than a cobra pouncing. Don't worry though, she'll only start hurling profanity if you tick her off, which, depending on what you say or do, isn't necessarily difficult.

Personality: There always has to be at least one person that tries to stay optimistic in bad situations but is secretly on the verge of a breakdown. That's Teresa, or Albinoni now. She's a little more cautious of the world now, and desperate for some kind of emotional relief. The rest of her personality has stayed pretty much intact. She's still got a fiery mouth, still ready to lend a helping hand, and still cracking jokes. She works harder to fight her urge to give up on things now though. She cherishes every experience she goes through, thankful to still be up and kicking.
History: Growing up in a hispanic household is tough. Her madre, padre, two hermanos, hermana, abuela, abuelo and occasionally her primo when his girlfriend kicked him out, were all crammed in a four bedroom home since she was born. Her parents knew no english, but Teresa and her siblings learned through television and school. The Sandoval lived in poverty in the beginning years. With only her mother and father working to support six, sometimes seven people, money was tight, but there was always a roof over her head and food on her plate and unconditional love given.
All throughout her school life Teresa was bullied for her height, or rather lack thereof. Too bad for her bullies, Teresa wasn't going to be the sad little girl that just stood and took it. Occuring more frequently during her elementary years and thinning as she aged, Teresa's discipline record was dotted with fights.
Despite that, Teresa's performance in acedemics went splendidly. Math was a monster during her younger years, but became much easier (though still mind boggling) in her high school years. She found her passion during her years there after taking Digital Animation and Video Game Design. She also took early college while in high school, allowing her to jump straight into her bachelor's degree when she enrolled as a Freshman in college.
Scholarships and hard work and loans made college a possibility. It wasn't anywhere fancy, but there she learned more about what she wanted to do with her life, graduating with a major in Digital Animation. She came first place in a national animation contest, spiking her popularity in the world of animation in the minds of potential employers.
Shortly after graduating Teresa took a job designing for a up-and-coming gaming company. In her free time she ran a blog dicussing animation styles and graphics in games or movies that her followers requested. One day her followers suggested that she write a blog post about the new VR game that had come out that very day.So, Teresa went out and got the game. Just before she entered the virtual world Teresa recieved an email from Walt Disney studios offering her a job in their animation team. She was to begin next week if she were to except, which she obviously did.

A Beast's Sacrifice|| Main || Albinoni can release an arrow that, when impacting with any liquid/solid substance, will cause massive explosive damage to those within 100 feet from the point of impact in all directions.This move takes 100 seconds to charge. If the player is hit during the charging process the move will be cancled, however a cooldown is not initiated unless the move is complete. If the move is successful, Albinoni's health will automatically drop to one. She is not immune to the explosion damage if within range. This move has a twenty four hour cool down.
Animal Allegience || Main || The player can release a very special call, summoning one creature ranging from a roaring grizzly to a chirping mockingbird to come aid her, whether it be in combat or something else.
The creature is chosen completely by chance and will stay with the player for a maximum of twenty minutes, but at any time the player can dismiss the creature. Once the creature is dismissed the cool down will begin. This move takes thirty minutes to cool down.

Personality: In Game Vanessa used to be a malicious being that striked fear in the hearts of men and went about exarting her Kingdom’s will. The part she played all crumbled down once she was trapped in the game, having a lot of trouble goind by her routine without having some poor fellow run off because of her reputation.
It made her highly sarcastic and cynical, struggling to try and fit in with a history that would work well as a tale of horror.
Even if she swears she’s done with being a malignant nightprowler people just don’t seem to trust her. And it’s really getting on her nerves.
History: Oh wow, a VR experience that shows so much promise! The perfect opportunity to play an agressive, bad to the bone vampire knight! Everything seemed in order at first as Emma gleefully played as one of the vampires less stellar examples of their species’ capacity for goodness. A real menace at first Emma made a name for herself as Vanessa the conqueror, defending the outskirts oft he vampiric kingdom from those who wanted to just claim the land.
It was all fine and dandy, being able tob e the bad guy for once but once she realized they were trapped in the game it got harder to actually play the part.
Yet the damage was already done, people already knowing her for being the vampire’s bloody vengeance. Trying to redeem herself and clean her name Vanessa tries to show the world that vampires aren’t that bad, even though she did little to show it until now

Personality: In-combat, Fran seems to be much more determined and much more focused. She thinks more and starts getting super analytical. She'll still be pretty positive (ex. "You GOT THIS!" or "LET'S FUCKING DO THIS!"), but just a tad bit more serious. Out of combat, Fran is pretty much the same as she always is. Unlike other humans, Fran seems to be rather accepting of everyone. In fact, because Fran is extremely aware that this is a video game, so she applies real life ethics to her in-game mentality (don't be a dick, don't be racist, etc etc~). She also doesn't care too much about what happens within the game. As long as she does well, has fun, and doesn't die or go through a shit ton of pain, she's fine.
That being said, she does get pissed when people troll or are being bad.
History: Fran was born into a suburban area in the east coast. Her family was moderately rich, and she had a good life. It had ups and downs, but it was overall normal. No weird deaths or horrible relationships or failure... At least no so far. When Fran was in middle school, she found the world of gaming. She played all sorts of games- MMORPGs, FPS, MOBAs... you name it, she's probably played it. It was hard to balance gaming, sports, and homework, but Fran managed. She grew in experience and in skill as a gamer.
Fran got this game the moment she heard about it. A VRMMORPG!? HELL YES! It seemed so cool! Fran had never been in a VR game, much less as a VRMMORPG. She bought it as soon as possible. Having played many games before, she had a good amount of knowledge in the game. It was fun for her- the realism of this... this fantasy world was amazing! Fran made her character: Ashe Crystalite, and decided to have as much fun and to gain as much enjoyment as she could from this game.
Ashe had lived in a peaceful town in the Human Kingdom, daughter to a powerful warrior of a father and a potionmaking mage mother. She learned a lot of things from her mother- how to use her light powers, how to make potions, how to charm people so they would buy your things... When Ashe became an adult, she was pretty sure about who she wanted to be. She decided to settle on exploring and collecting and selling, wanting to be a travelling merchant that everyone would go to. Everything went along fine. She fought monsters that attacked her, found cool things, and sold things she made and bought.
And then, she got trapped. Well shit, Fran was fucked.

Personality: In-game, Cole's personality doesn't differ much from his own in real life. The biggest change is that he's a lot less friendly in the game than he is in life. He'll still talk to you and laugh with you, but, just don't be near him out of safe-zones at all, unless you're confirmed friends. He'll probably kill you for the fun of it.
History: Cole was born in Toronto, Canada and spent most of his time there growing up. His family was in the upper-middle class and life was fine. Cole was very smart and his parents knew when he was a child. His father worked as an IT engineer for a hospital, and his mother worked in a doctor's office for a child hospital. His father brought in the most in-come and did most of the work in the house. Cole wanted to be similar to him, but not exactly like him. The only thing Cole didn't like about his dad was his smoking habit. He tried to tell him to stop a few times but did not work. He tried pranking him by placing dynamite in his cigarettes, but that only made him mad, so he gave up.
Cole mainly got good grades and test scores in school. Nothing below a neutral B. He was very good at reading, and anything to do with literature. The main reason he put in so much effort into school was not so that he could get into college and eventually get a good paying job so he could feed himself in the future no, that was part of it. It was mainly because due to his family's partial wealth, he could get whatever he wanted so long as his grade's were good. At least that's what his father did. By the time Cole was finishing up his Secondary year, he moved to America due to his father's job also moving there.
Growing up in America, Cole had a lot of the things that he wanted and due to his kind and people-pleasing personality, he had a lot of friends as well. By the time the VR game came out, Cole had basically had it the day it came out. He was the first among his friend's to get it and most of them probably wouldn't be getting it for a while. So at the moment he had pretty much no friends to play with and he had kind of a hard time trying to make friends because everytime he tried to he got ignored, or PK'd. Due to this, he decided to PK other players as well as a form of revenge, which was out of character for him, but he did it anyways. In fact, he did this so much that it just became a hobby. It also made him good at fighting, because he didn't always fight people that didn't fight back. He PK'd so much that he got a terrible reputation. One day when he went to log out, he was shocked to find he couldn't. He thought he was being punished for all of his PK, but that wasn't it. He got word that something was happening with the server's. Despite this information, he still kind of believed that this was a form of punishment for not only his PK, but a lot of others. But this was an excuse for him to take a break, because people were trying to kill him more often. [Beginning of the RP]

Where to start...? Everyone has their own cercumstances, problems, reasons.. ect. Honestly, nothing that would really stand out has happened in my life. It's mostly just been as mundane and average as others. If someone were to turn my life into a story, i would likely be mistaken for a background character... sad isn't it?
Sure, i've had my fair share of being bullied like others. Thinking back on things now, i realize how stupid it was. But instead of 'powering through it' or 'confronting the bullies', i became somewhat jaded of people as a whole. I can't really remember the exact time when it started.. But slowly, i retreated into books. The genre of which didn't really matter at first. Since it was just an excuse to block out my surroundings.
Before i had even noticed, i had started actually reading the fantasy books. The stories became genuinely fun to read. Reading those stories, visualizing the world and characters unfolding as the plot progressed. Naturally, as i delved farther into the fanstay genre, games called RPGs caught my notice. Tabletop RPGs were out of the question for someone like me who had little friends and had became unable to handle groups of people. So online games worked out well.
In the RPGs i played, i could make a character how ever i wanted and in some games, be whatever i wanted. Playing as an adventurer, a noble, royalty, a skilled blacksmith, you name it. And since i could hide behind a screen, i somehow found myself being more often to other players. It was just easier to talk and meet friends online then offline for someone like me.
And then that was announced. Needless to say, it was all anyone would talk about. The first fulldive VRRPGMMO game. I admit to being more than excited like everyone else assumingly was... But, then i also had some worries about the game. In VR, i wouldn't be hidden behind a screen. I imagined it to be like showing up with a mask to hide your face. While people wouldn't really be looking at me, but my character. However, In the end, my curiousity as a gamer won out over those worries.

History:
Born overseas Bernhard's parent immigrated when he was still young seeking better opportunities for themselves as well as their offspring. Being the oldest of three and most rooted in their old lifestyle Bernie suffered some initial difficulties adapting. With time the rebellious nature was curbed into a more passive demeanor now displayed.
Despite some minor delinquent action in his youth the blond showed a knack for finances which would eventually transition into a promising career with the help of one if his old mans colleagues. Thror started his existence as a crafter for the Dusk-Hammer Clan quickly finding a spot thanks to his mastery of runes; giving some of their merchandise an edge in exchange for a reasonable markup. The clan itself consists of 7 Dwarven lineages, with the Stonemantle's among the youngest. However, the runes and their history began to pique Thror's interest beyond simple monetary gain. After some back and forth and a few sleepless nights he presented his plan to leave the grand forges in pursuit of knowledge. An adventure to uncover rare or perhaps undiscovered runes.
After some initial grumbling the Clan's leaders agreed to maintain the runemasters membership and quarters in exchange for full disclosure on any findings upon his return. Since then Thror has been busy exploring caves near Strunmah's border, enjoying the challenge of dwelling ever deeper. 1. Spiteful Smash -Major- By swinging his hammer into the ground, Fillmore can cause kinetic damage to those in a 4 meter circle around him. Only affects those on the ground at the time of the strike, has a 30 second recharge rate, may stun weaker NPC mobs for 1.5 seconds.
2. Foul Swill -Major- Fillmore's terrible grog is quite literally hazardous to those of weak constitution, if he has some in his inventory he can throw it at opponents and douse them for a thirty second decrease in DEX(-1) with a poisoning effect to boot. These damages will be less effective against others depending on how high the opponent's constitution is. If the opponent's constitution is 4+, the swill will instead grant a minute long increase in Charisma (+1), this bonus does not stack with other charisma modifiers.
3. Do you wish to Grapple?- Major- A lunging grab attack Fillmore may use when empty-handed, if successful in grabbing someone he will proceed to crush them in his arms for the next five seconds, damage modifiers depend on his opponent's strength. Strong quarries will be hurt less than weaker opponents, and if their strength matches Fillmore's they will be able to break out of his grab immediately. Of course, those with more dexterity than Fillmore will find it much easier to dodge this attack in the first place as its broadcasted quite openly.
1. Spittlesmith Sharpen -Minor- The blood of the Spittlesmith Clan flows through ya veins Lad! Use any nearby hard surface to sharpen any type of edged weapon, ya blade will now cause a bleed effect the next time it strikes a target... unless of course that target doesn't actually have any blood.
2.Thicken Skin -Minor- Sacrificing 2 DEX, Fillmore can gain heightened resistance to ranged weapons like arrows and throwing knives.
1. Deadened Nerves -Passive- Constant Abuse has raised the body's pain tolerance to absurd levels, physical trauma is felt much less by the player.
2. All in Good Health -Passive- Resistant to chemicals such as poisons, hallucinogens and so on, but also proves resistant to herbs and the like, making all health potions 75% less effective and makes it hard to get intoxicated.

Often found drinking the terrible swill he concocted, Fillmore's constantly weighed down by the unfairness of his situation. He hates that he's stuck in this joke character of his, hates that he can't get out and swim in real water, and hates the very game around him that would dare imprison him. As such he's quite nasty towards others due to just how miserable he's become since entering this godforsaken game.

History: Ah yes, the of story how an athletic swimmer got trapped in a depressive dwarf, tale as old as time. We begin with a boy named Isaac, who held a tight-knit group of friends due to his stand-offishly dismal view of the world. Isaac passed the time as a promising Star Swimmer who had actually won pretty high marks in several events, with many believing him to one day go to the Olympics. What many didn't know was that this athlete had quite a penchant for gaming, in moderation of course. Whenever he found himself availed of anything else to do, he'd sit down with a controller and find something to play. He'd often focus on a simple one to burn through quickly, he was often able to learn game mechanics quickly and successfully beat them no more than a few days after acquiring them. He'd forget about them, go back to swimming, then pick up another one next time he found himself bored.
This routine was often broken by the times he'd play with his friends, a small group of individuals who not only withstood his rather pessimistic viewpoint but found great humor in how much he found annoyance in everything. They were annoying too, but to a much lesser degree than most things were to Isaac, except for their constant demands that Isaac join them in an MMO game sometime. Isaac hated MMO's, and a large portion of Multiplayer games...in fact he hated all Multiplayer games that weren't just local co-op. Having had several bad experiences with them in the past, and often finding them time consuming and even boring in some cases, Isaac was adamant they keep to their current set up of only palling around and having LAN parties.
And then along came VR, something Isaac had written off as an incomplete mess that tried too hard without the means to actually fulfill what the people wanted. But as time went on, VR began succeeding in the places it failed in the past, eventually garnering Isaac's interest as well. Just imagine the sheer annoyance which coursed through his very being when he discovered the first game to be released on this new and improved virtual reality system would be none other than his long-forgotten enemy...the MMO.
Isaac had tried waiting until something else, something more him came out on the market, but the combination of his friends' goading and his own curiosity eventually made him momentarily push aside his reservations and give in. He figured he could just keep away from other players besides the guild he and his friends were planning on forming. He had envisioned himself as an intelligent elf ranger who would dash between the trees cleverly picking away at enemies from afar, yet there was one problem.
All his friends had the same idea for a character.
He'd regret it for much time to come, they'd even told him that it wasn't a big deal. But Isaac had been adamant that they would never be able to quest effectively unless they had enough variety to cover the inherent faults thee Ranger class had. And since not one of his friends were convinced it was an issue, Isaac reluctantly made a joke character that they could use as a tank until they leveled up and acquired enough skills to no longer need him.
Just the name alone, Fillmore Spittlesmith, was to signify just how little his creator actually cared for him. Abandoning the grace of his ideal ranger and focusing solely on all the characteristics a true tank should have, Fillmore was born. Playing him was hell, he'd abandoned all focus on intelligence and charisma in order to maximize combat effectiveness through careful deliberation of class, race and starting points, what he hadn't been prepared for was the sheer effect it had on him in game. He figured it wouldn't be so bad, the guys would handle all the intelligent stuff and he'd handle all the distraction stuff until he could make another character.
Everything felt terrible, despite his physical abilities he felt like a stumpy hooligan. Charging into battle to have the many enemies wail on him mercilessly while his pals chummed it up in the back, safely out of reach where they could shoot and chat at the same time. As the most physically able, they made him carry all the loot they acquired and always had him spend time wailing on doors they could easily pick if they had invested more time in their lock picking instead of acrobatics!
Isaac told himself it was just temporary, it could be worst! He had gotten some decent drops from the quests they'd gone on, nowhere near as good as his damn friends but whatever. It was hard adjusting to the body In comparison to his light, athletic build in real life. Despite this Fillmore could distract himself , and he'd managed to use his Dwarven characteristics to brew a mediocre attempt at grog. So at least he wasn't walking around like a completely brainless meathead. But then it happened.
The straw that broke the camel's back occurred hours into the game when they fought their way to a dungeon boss who was standing on quite the hefty pile of loot. It was a long, brutal battle...for him. While he was down there getting viciously destroyed every which way he kept glancing back to find his colleagues chumming it up, his tolerance for this trite wearing thin every time the dungeon boss would smash him into something. And when they finally defeated it, through some divine intervention conceivable by only the most sickest of gods above, he got nothing. Not a piece of gold, not any cool armor or weaponry or skills, the shock and awe hit him at his very core as he watched his guild bask in the glory of their rewards.
He was done....no more. Spitefully yelling that they'd never be able to do anything without him, he resigned himself to quit and make a new character so he could try to find some enjoyment in this game he paid right out of pocket for. But then... there was no way out. So many had been distracted by the game that word hadn't reached him or his guild yet. And when he angrily searched for the logout button in the middle of the Dwarven kingdom, only for others to spot him and also unsuccessfully try leaving, the sheer unfairness of his situation sank in.
While all the other players were reeling from the news of their unexpected imprisonment, he had reluctantly searched for his guild mates, knowing that without their superior mental skills he'd have unnecessary troubles during his imprisonment. Instead he found that somehow...in the thirty minutes it had taken him to angrily trek back to the Dwarven capital and discover their predicament, that they'd literally all gotten themselves slaughtered. Apparently they tried to prove him wrong by tackling a quest without their meat shield, and had all been nearly entirely demolished.
Fillmore then began a dreadful existence of being trapped within his joke character. It didn't take him long to start drinking, but even his brew was a testament to how terrible his crafting skills were. The only reason he's capable of drinking the stuff is due to this damned constitution. He went on to join the Taskmasters for obvious reasons, he simply had the strength needed for various jobs that offered money. He's been rolling with that guild for a while doing odd jobs, everything from helping carry stuff to going back to his tankin' days and helping out with quests. Anything to keep him clothed and generally, if he was gonna be stuck in this hellhole at least he'd keep himself somewhat productive to keep himself from mulling his situation too much, crummy alcohol can only go so far.

Personality: In real-life, Ian was meek and was never much of a go-getter.
He considered game design for a long while, it was all he ever thought about,
but he just never made a plan and stuck to it. He never felt comfortable outside
of his parents’ basement, and that fact was so humiliating he kept this a secret
from his friends. They still suspected though. That’s why he spent more time
in game as Thoth, his go-getter alt ego, a much more powerful, more masterful,
intimidating genius. Nothing is too dark for him to travel. His lack of brute physique
in real-life manifested the opposite in game. Okay, he may be a little vain and
obsessed with glory, too much? Especially now of all times, trapped here.
But Ian is mixed. He could be Thoth forever. Does he really want to go back to
his (pathetic) old life? Or does he prefer this life more? Ian picked neutral good
for Thoth for a reason, because he was that nature himself. Here he is truly free.
Still, for others, this realm is a prison. He won’t abandon or betray his friends like that.
Besides, that just makes the game more interesting.
